Viet Bites Menu

Generous portions and flavorful meals at this no frills Vietnamese restaurant. I had a vermicelli bowl with chicken, beef, and spring rolls. I asked for the spring rolls to be swapped out for vegetarian and the modification was easily accepted. Great spot for dine in or easy pickup and takeout.

Vietnamese Salad, delicious

My 1st time here, was recommended to me by 2 friends. I had the Vietnamese salad & it was delicious, so fresh & a large portion. The restaurant is very clean, the staff was attentive & kind & I will definitely be going back to try other dishes. I highly recommend Viet Bites.

I've been here several times but keep forgetting to add a review. The pho is good not amazing. They give plenty of bean sprouts and herbs which is a plus. The egg rolls are always yummy, again plenty of lettuce and herbs to wrap the rolls. Service is friendly and quick. It's a small place with under 12 tables. The chopsticks, spoons and dishes on table are always clean when I've gone.

Pretty vood Vietnamese option in the northern Phoenix burbs. Costco is around the corner, so it's a nice place to have lunch and do your shopping. Pho broth was a tad oily as you can see from the pic, but flavorful. Noodle bowl was huge and filling, probably one of the best I've had. Peanut sauce for the spring rolls was thinner than I usually like. They are priced on par with other Vietnamese joints. Service was fasy and friendly.

Another local favorite. This is fairly new Vietnamese restaurant in the area. Opened about 6 months ago. They took over the spot where PT Pho used to be. We tried their combo pho and Vietnamese salad. The pho had nice broth and it came with lots of protein. Their salad was also fresh and the dressing was perfect. Will be back to try more entrees. Service and excellent. Highly recommend!!

We ordered in grubhub and got a banh mi and a vermicelli bowl. The protein portion in both dishes was generous, and the flavor was good. I liked the bread of banh mi. The only thing to complain is that I ordered extra fried egg in my banh mi but I didn't get it (as photo), don't know what's wrong with the order or the communication between Grubhub and the restaurant.

I came here during their opening week where their entrees were 50% off. I would say this is one of the better vietnamese places here in Phoenix. They have all of the traditional dishes with authentic flavors and you can tell it is authentic by the amount of other Asian locals who came to visit as well. I ordered the pho combination as well as the thai tea, both of which were pretty good. However, I couldn't help but feel the prices were slightly steep for what was offeredm not considering the 50% off promotion. The atmosphere was pleasant and casual, making it a nice spot for a relaxed meal whether you are eating with friends, family, or alone. Despite the price point, the quality of the food still makes it a solid choice for those craving Vietnamese. Service is good too, quick with water refills and making sure your party is comfortable.

Really great pho! We had the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce and shrimp pho. Great flavor for both of them.

I love this place, never disappointed. I started coming here a few years ago with my bf. We like to come here sometimes after our Costco run. The food is delicious and the presentation is phenomenal. I love spicy food so I really enjoy ordering their spicy noodles and actually feeling the heat (but not so much that it's melting my face off). The portions are great considering the price. I always take leftovers home. I'm gonna say 5 stars because the food is yummy, the staff are friendly, the service is fast, and the restaurant is clean. It seems like they have a new name now "Viet Bites" but their menu is still the same.

Diced tenderloin skillet

I was so impressed with the food here, having been a regular customer of Viet Kitchen and dissatisfied with Americanized PT Pho, I am pleased to report that this latest iteration has high quality traditional Vietnamese food. Although the price point is several dollars higher, the quality is too. Service is really where this restaurant did not get five stars. Friendly but ineffective, and did not stop by our table once to ask how the meal was tasting until it was time to settle the bill. Companion I were not looking for a huge meal with leftovers so we split the diced tenderloin skillet. Not knowing what to expect, we asked a few questions and wanted to make sure that the onions were cooked and not raw in this dish, and asked the chef to leave them on the skillet a little extra. This special request seemed to throw our server for a loop, he said he'll have to translate and disappeared into the kitchen. When our sizzling dish arrived, he warned us the plate was very hot. Chunks of quality tender sirloin steak, green onions and cilantro on top, white onions cooked underneath. A fried egg sizzling on the side, with a crusty base stuck to the plate in a very delicious way.. It was everything I could do to keep from scooping up all the leftover gravy and eating it with a spoon. This dish has the most savory sauce, great for the rice! A nice pile of veggies on the side, traditional sliced cucumber shredded lettuce carrots and herbs. I asked for a side of fish sauce vinaigrette, like they would use on the vermicelli ball and he happily brought me a small container. I used this as a salad dressing and then finished it on the rice. I was super impressed with this dish, and I am already thinking about ordering it again very soon!

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. It was good to try something different though. I would give my dish four stars. Otherwise everything else gets five stars. Free street parking outside.

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! So glad we tried this place out, and I would definitely like to come here again, especially when I have a bigger appetite!!

This place stays packed, which is always a good sign--and it definitely delivered. I went with the tofu veggie pho, while my husband ordered the beef special pho. Both were genuinely delicious. The broth had great flavor, everything tasted fresh, and it hit that perfect comforting-but-not-heavy balance. Service was quick and super friendly, even with how busy it was, which we appreciated. It's not quite a 5-star "blown away" experience, but it's a strong 4 stars and absolutely somewhere I'd come back to. We left completely full--but not that overly stuffed, regret-it-later kind of full. Just satisfied. If you're looking for a no-frills, reliable Vietnamese spot with great pho, this one's worth a visit.

The ambience is super comfortable, easy, casual. But, it's *super* loud, like really, really loud. The 4 of us had to literally scream, top of our lungs, to hear each other, and these aren't big tables, it's tight in there, so you're very close together. We left with sore throats from yelling. It felt like "a relief" when we stepped out front. After 2 hours sitting in the wooden seats, my butt was also relieved to be getting up. Parking is ridiculous, it's a very thin one way driveway with *no way to turn around* when you reach the end - back it up! Super tiny parking lot. Food: the food was very good. We ordered 6-8 things for the 4 of us because all items are pretty small. Top section of the menu are called smaller items. They were. Items on the bottom section are bigger, but not big. For perspective, when the 4 of us split an item from the bottom "entree section" we each got 2-3 bites/forks-full. So a full entree for one person is 8-12 bites. All items tasted very good, clearly high quality, well curated and definitely unique to this restaurant. The steamed white rice was hot, steamy, moist and sticky, really good. The Panang Chicken was really good, different, creamy, dark, rich and smokey. I added pictures of the menu, inside, patio, bar and a few food items so you can see for yourself. Would I go back? I would because the service was great, visual atmosphere was comfortable, and food was high quality, but turning the music volume down at least 1/2 way from what we had would go a long way,... a looooong way, seriously. Increasing the portion size of menu entrees would also be an improvement since they're about the same price as larger portions elsewhere. And throw some cushions on those inside wooden benches, our butts will thank you. Overall this was a good first visit and I'd try Glai Baan again, hoping for the same great service, quality food and updates to the other items.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I really wanted to like this spot, especially as a fan of a well-balanced bánh mì. The sandwich was generous and good value, loaded with meat, but the execution didn't quite come together. The vegetables were tucked toward the back of the bun, making it hard to enjoy that classic balance in each bite. The mayo was far too heavy and the meat leaned overly sweet, which threw off the overall flavor. It also could have used more jalapeños and cilantro to bring some freshness and contrast. The bread was crispy, which was nice, but it was much larger in size and shape than a traditional baguette, leaning more toward a big roll than that light, airy texture you'd expect. Overall, good value but missed the mark on balance and authenticity for me. Saluti.
