Ordered 48 tofu spring roll wrapped in rice paper and 4c pho with beef ox-tail add tendon and tripe. The oxtail was good but very messy so I probably would not reorder it but I enjoyed it. The tribe and tendon were great. Service again was fast but not friendly and they kept forgetting things like extra bowls and silverware.

A no frills mom & pop place with good Vietnamese food. They have more decor now sprucing up the place a bit. We ordered #36 & 38c. #36 is rice vermicelli noodles w/BBQ pork, bean sprouts & fish sauce. #38c is rice vermicelli noodles w/BBQ shrimp, bean sprouts & fish sauce. Service is very quick. Food was consistent from the last time we visited. Shared parking lot.

Food: 5/5 I've been coming here since a kid and the flavors are always there. My parents came in town so what's more nostalgic than taking them to a restaurant they used to bring me to. Crispy egg noodle: 5/5 Pho da vang 1a: 5/5 Bo kho: 5/5 Classic, authentic, consistent flavors! Service: 5/5 the uncles always serves us so quick Food always come out so quick and flavors are always there! Ambiance: 5/5 True old fashioned mom and pop rustic vibe !!

Authentic Pho That Hits the Soul -- Every. Single. Time. Phoenix, Arizona' If you're looking for real Vietnamese comfort food, stop scrolling and park yourself here. This spot doesn't just serve pho -- it masters it. The broth is deep, rich, and aromatic -- the kind that whispers "made from scratch with love." Every bite feels like you're being fed by someone's Vietnamese grandma who knows exactly what you need on a cold day, a long day, or any day. The beauty of this place? There's something for everyone. Craving fried rice? They've got it. Noodles? Plenty. Stewed beef? Melts in your mouth. Fried fish, sautéed chicken, vegan and veggie plates? All handled with skill and flavor. The cooks here don't just follow the menu -- they read minds. Whatever you're craving, they'll make it happen. A quick PSA for my fellow foodies: don't show up on Wednesdays. They're closed all day. No exceptions. No secret pho club. Just respect their day off and come back Thursday hungry. The service? Friendly, fast, and genuinely kind -- no fake smiles here. The food? Top-notch. The vibe? Authentic and welcoming. I could honestly eat here every day of the week. Highly recommended -- twice, because it deserves to be said twice. To my fellow tellers and yelpettes: this spot is the real deal. Come hungry. Leave happy. Return often. Jordan --

3.5 Clean restaurant. Vegetables and herbs scrupulously clean and washed. Husband's Bun Bo Hue was very good. Lots of protein. Fresh rolls were definitely pre-made but fresh. My grilled pork was more like a Filipino longanisa sausage (minus casings) in texture, fatty and sweet (different to what we get in Toronto and not to my personal taste). The rice nooodles were perfect and the vegetables fresh. The fish sauce was perfect AND picante! The sour plum juice is a MUST HAVE. A good option in Phoenix. Prices were very reasonable. Service is matter of fact and to the point. LOL.

My first original Vietnamese restaurant visit more than 15 years ago that won my heart over! The food is impeccable! I like to order a lot of food cause I know how good it is going to be. And I definitely always wanna have some to take home!!! The pace and service is very fast. Yet it's quiet enough to enjoy your meal and there's enough space for large crowds! This is the absolute top-tier Vietnamese Restaurant. I completely recommend!

Hole in the wall place, but the food is GOOD! I got the chả giò, Vietnamese egg rolls & Bún Thịt Nướng, vermicelli noodles and pork, plus a soy milk! The service is friend and always quick.

Everything was exceptional! Their coffee is crack... so good. You just have to try it yourself if you're a coffee person like I am. I had their A1 combination pho, 4/5. Broth was fantastic. A little bit of sriracha and hoisin sauce goes a long way. The meat was tender! Service was awesome, no complaints. Ambiance had plenty of bright lighting, pleasant music was playing, and the noise level was comfortable.

I've ordered both takeout and dined in here, and it's consistently great. The prices are reasonable and the Vietnamese food is authentic. The veggies served with the dishes are always very fresh, and they're generous with condiments and special requests like extra ginger or green onions. Service is fast, and I've had no complaints so far.

Came to Da Vang for lunch. Nice cozy little place. The service was prompt but not as friendly as I would have hoped. It may be due to a bit of language barrier. We ordered the Goi Cuon Dau Hu (spring rolls with tofu, rice noodles, bean sprouts & mint, wrapped in rice paper) Pho Duoi Bo (rice noodle soup with beef bone-in oxtail with added tripe and tendon). It was all so delicious! We ate every bite.

We went to Da Vang for lunch, our go-to place whenever we're craving pho. We ordered egg rolls, spring rolls, deep-fried bean curd stuffed with shrimp, a special pho, and an XL special pho. I also got the "three-colored" dessert. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. Service was efficient, though our server coughed quite a bit. While he was wearing a face mask, it only covered his chin--not his mouth--so I'm not really sure what purpose it served. There's not much in terms of décor, but we come here for the food. If you're looking for GOOD Vietnamese food at a good price, Da Vang remains a great choice.

This was my first Pho experience! Such an amazing incredible meal with very ample portions (you'll almost certainly have leftovers.) The interior is quite simple, just a bunch of tables, chairs, and good vibes. Server was quick to take our order and make suggestions, and food was brought out quite quickly!

I've heard so many great things about Da Vang over the years and when I was finally in the area this week I had to stop in for lunch. The parking lot is small, but it was worth waiting for a spot. I was shocked to walk in to a packed house already at 1045. That's a great sign right? We were greeted instantly talent to a table. Waters were brought to our table as well while we looked over a very vast menu. I knew i wanted pho, but I nearly changed my mind because they had so many unique and delicious looking items. We ordered a few egg rolls while we decided what to order for our main course. Soon we came up with an order of pho ga and pho tai gan. Everything came out so fast. The broth was amazing and plenty of steak and meatball in our soup. Noodles were the perfect amount. Our friend that was with us had never had pho and loved it. The location is in a small, much older and unassuming lot. It would be easily missed if you didn't know it was there. Do yourself a favor though and come check them out. My only semi negative comment if that is that we sat quite a while at our table when we were done not knowing if we had to wait for a server to give us the bill or pay at the front. We opted to walk up and sure enough it is paid at the counter when done. They knew instantly stay what table we were at before I said anything, impressive. Great spot with awesome prices compared to others in the valley.

    When did this restaurant open?

It has been reopened for some time now. Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. Hours: 8:30am - 7pm.

    Do they still wear masks?

Yes, they still require you to come in with a mask and you can take it off when the food reaches your table.

Any updates on the restaurant and when they will be open?

I went this past weekend to take out and they said they would be reopening for limited service this past Monday (5/11). They've been open for take out only up to this point with some modified hours. Just a little shorter than normal, still open at… Read more

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! I wanted to just chill and take my time to eat, but the server never came back again for me to order another drink so I decided I should just get out then since they didn't want me there long it seemed let's start off with the food review tho my spring rolls tasted off like there was something a bit funky with them, as well as how to frozen texture on the inside and I was given the smallest amount of fish sauce I've ever seen every other place. I've been to is a huge amount or like a generous amount of that sauce dividend but I got like barely anything so I was like trying to scoop it at the end, but yeah, definitely funky tasting rolls. The pho itself consisted mostly of noodles and a decent amount of meat at least but with the combination, I felt like the tendon they just gave the biggest chunks possible, which were extremely hard to try to bite through unusual for me to come across I love tripe and tendon the most in the combos, the regular size is generously sized tho no need to pay extra for a larger size unless you're really hungry the flavor of the broth tasted good nothing special but it was a alright meal prob won't come back but I don't think it was entirely a waste of time

I really wanted to like this spot, especially as a fan of a well-balanced bánh mì. The sandwich was generous and good value, loaded with meat, but the execution didn't quite come together. The vegetables were tucked toward the back of the bun, making it hard to enjoy that classic balance in each bite. The mayo was far too heavy and the meat leaned overly sweet, which threw off the overall flavor. It also could have used more jalapeños and cilantro to bring some freshness and contrast. The bread was crispy, which was nice, but it was much larger in size and shape than a traditional baguette, leaning more toward a big roll than that light, airy texture you'd expect. Overall, good value but missed the mark on balance and authenticity for me. Saluti.

We ordered a BBQ pork banh mi, spring rolls, and a pork eggroll noodle bowl (which is my newest obsession). The vegetables on the sandwich were fresh and flavorful; we had some inconsistent knife cuts on the pork resulting in "a big 'ole hunk of meat" on one side of the sandwich, but no big deal. A few issues for me, which may not be a deterrent to you: The rice noodles were overcooked to my taste and my noodle bowl was missing the crunch of bean sprouts!
