Special: pork belly and egg. Tasted like Thit Kho
Chris N.

Just moved up to Cave Creek area and discovered this place was really close by. Being from California and going to restaurants in Phoenix and Asian District, it's hard to compare those types of Vietnamese restaurants to this one, so my rating will be based off my experience. The place is run by wonderful people who were very accommodating, nice and attentive, which is very different from your typical Viet place. It's a small little spot tucked away but seems to get plenty of business. Most importantly, the food tastes authentic. We tried the pho, vermacelli, taro boba and also their special which was pork belly with egg and rice which had a very familiar taste to thit kho. Although I have tried many pho places through my life, this is good and had a good clean taste. Considering the next pho place is a good 25 minutes away, it's nice to have an Asian place to eat up here in cave creek. The vermicelli dish was correctly constructed and tasted good as well. As for prices. It may be only slightly more than Phoenix/chandler, but again considering there's not another viet place for miles, the price makes sense. Overall it's a good place to visit, and since it's so close we will definitely be back.

Just moved into the area so had to explore the Vietnamese cuisine. The service was absolutely friendly. We ordered drinks (they do sell alcohol) but I wanted to assess the taro milk tea (good mixture, boba was qq). We ordered the weekend special (their version of Bo kho (braised pork, egg and rice) and their spring rolls. We also ordered the Pho Dac Biet and the Bun Dac Biet (came with pork, chicken and shrimp) which were also very tasty. Definitely filled up on a lot of good food! Overall great meal, we will be back!!

Was in need of some 'soup' & decided to get some Pho Sunday afternoon between NFL games! Found this cute place on YELP; close to home! We made the move from Green Bay, Wisconsin 4 1/2 years ago; drive past this hidden gem almost everyday! Never knew this place existed! We both chose the Veggie Pho: was just what we were looking for! Started with 4 crispy egg rolls to share! He had hot tea & I went with the Passionfruit Lemonade All 'Simply Perfect'! Service was top notch felt like long lost customers ! Server was informative & sweet! Wish I knew her name; she was great & made us feel most welcome! Another worker; Lou came & asked how we liked our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed & mentioned we'd be back! Even came home with leftovers!!

3 protein rice meal with added beef and fried egg.

The food is delicious here. Service is good. Nice atmosphere. Simple with pleasant music. The three protein rice dish was very good. Everything was well cooked. Asked for an additional protein and a fried egg. The plate by itself with no additions is plentiful. Side note they have a good selection of Asian beers. Recommend this restaurant for Vietnamese!

Oh boy, oh boy... Yelpers, this is a must go to place..so I drove a good distance for this place and let me tell you. It was all worth it!!! Great little place. Clean and very quiet. Ambiance was exceptional. Customer service was phenomenal. And the food.. Delicious.. Mouth watering.. Tummy satisfying.. Thank you Regions Vietnamese Kitchen! That bowl was freaking delicious! This is Tip Top Vietnamese..

Looking for a decent new Vietnamese restaurant to try, I found 3 Regions Vietnamese Kitchen with a 4.7 rating on Yelp--definitely worth a visit! I was especially excited to see they had Hainanese Chicken Rice on the menu. I remembered the deliciously seasoned rice and tender, smooth chicken from my trip to Singapore and hoped to find something similar here. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The rice lacked seasoning, and the chicken was tough and flavorless. On the bright side, the waiter was very friendly and attentive. We also tried the pho, spring rolls, egg rolls and mango sticky rice , which were decent but nothing special. The search for great Hainan Chicken Rice in Arizona continues!

I have been so desperate to love this restaurant because I love Thai and this is a local location…read more Plus the people seem so very nice. But for some reason, I just haven't had a great food experience at this location and sadly will likely not go back. We have tried Z's on a few occasions. The last time was about a year ago (before most recent trip). We went with a group and two people in the group got sick afterwards. One was my husband. This followed another occasion of someone getting sick (in fact, someone else in the group said they didn't want to go there for this reason). So, after that incident, we said we weren't going back. Fast forward a year and I thought why not give it another try? The reviews seemed good recently and maybe this was a fluke. So last night, we returned for another try. They were very busy for a Monday night so they obviously don't need more customers. And the staff, though clearly overworked, is friendly and nice as usual. I ordered a larb salad (something I always get at every Thai restaurant). Unfortunately, the chicken in the salad was inedible. I kept trying to eat it because the dressing was on point, but the chicken tasted like something that someone heated up too long in the microwave. And I couldn't pick it out. So disappointing. You can see it looks bad in the images. I didn't say anything because I hate complaining at restaurants. I took it home and tried it again in case I was being sensitive but it was still bad and I threw it out. We also ordered green curry with tofu and pad Thai with pork. Both were enjoyable!! And the green curry had a nice heat kick though I added spice which they eventually brought when I asked. One note: I was not exactly sure how to eat the green curry because it was served in a small bowl place on a plate with the rice in the side. Adding the curry to the plate caused the sauce to run all around but there was not enough room in the bowl to add the rice. No big deal but just weird and messy plating experience. We didn't end up getting any alcoholic drinks. But do be aware that there must not be free refills because I was charged for two lemonades. All in all, I wish this restaurant well. Obviously people love it and keep returning. The owners/staff are very friendly and nice. I just love Thai too much to keep returning to mediocre experiences when there are other options in the area.

First of all, ordered at the counter and chose our seat. Place had plentiful tables to choose from. Menu had a variety of sandwiches, vermicelli, and rice plates. So many choices, but my tummy stuck with the sandwich. When the nicely wrapped sandwiches came to our table, I we were pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches were more than generous and huge. I ordered #2 - grilled pork, pate, fried egg, and with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious! Bread was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Protein fillings were not skimpy at all- the grilled pork was not overly salty, the pate was a nice thin creamy flavorful layer, and the fried egg was perfect and fluffy to top. The produce- pickled veggies with decent balance of cilantro and thinly sliced jalapeños! Omg soooo good. All fresh and flavorful! Can you pls open another eatery in San Antonio?!

An employee quickly cleared the table without hesitation, wiping it down and giving us a pleasant greeting. He was also clearing plates through the small space. It looked like there was just one person working the counter and he was also helping to cook. Everything was cooked to order. We ordered a BBQ pork banh mi, spring rolls, and a pork eggroll noodle bowl (which is my newest obsession). The vegetables on the sandwich were fresh and flavorful; we had some inconsistent knife cuts on the pork resulting in "a big 'ole hunk of meat" on one side of the sandwich, but no big deal. A few issues for me, which may not be a deterrent to you: The rice noodles were overcooked to my taste and my noodle bowl was missing the crunch of bean sprouts! Those same mushy noodles were in the spring rolls. We both didn't care for the addition of bacon in the spring roll and the peanut sauce was the consistency of peanut butter, but we mixed it with siracha and made our own little spicy sauce. All in all a friendly, clean, and inviting place!

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! I wanted to just chill and take my time to eat, but the server never came back again for me to order another drink so I decided I should just get out then since they didn't want me there long it seemed let's start off with the food review tho my spring rolls tasted off like there was something a bit funky with them, as well as how to frozen texture on the inside and I was given the smallest amount of fish sauce I've ever seen every other place. I've been to is a huge amount or like a generous amount of that sauce dividend but I got like barely anything so I was like trying to scoop it at the end, but yeah, definitely funky tasting rolls. The pho itself consisted mostly of noodles and a decent amount of meat at least but with the combination, I felt like the tendon they just gave the biggest chunks possible, which were extremely hard to try to bite through unusual for me to come across I love tripe and tendon the most in the combos, the regular size is generously sized tho no need to pay extra for a larger size unless you're really hungry the flavor of the broth tasted good nothing special but it was a alright meal prob won't come back but I don't think it was entirely a waste of time
