I love Thai food but sometimes it can get a bit pricey to order so I try to keep it as a once in a while thing! I ordered online and had my husband pick up. He said it felt weirdly business-y in there but he had no issues with pick up! It is a big pet peeve of mine when Thai restaurants pack their curry in containers that cannot hold curry so it spills all over, and that was an issue here. One thing I thought was very weird was you don't get to choose your spice level and they don't give you spice to add. This was one of the blandest curries I've had, pretty disappointing. A plus was that the veggies were fresh, loved the squash especially! For $17 I would definitely not return but at least got to check another Thai place off my list!

    Tom Kha gai Soup

One of the most bland and tasteless Thai food we've ever eaten especially after visiting Thailand multiple times. The Tom Kha Soup looked terrible and the coconut milk had curdled in it. Mushroom were large button size pieces. It was sour like hell and nothing like authentic flavorful Tom kha gai that has basil and lemongrass usually. The Red Curry had such mushy and over cooked vegetables in it. Taste also was not authentic. The Chicken Pad Gra Pao was also disappointing and overall do not do justice to authentic Thai cuisine. The rice quality was also so-so. Restaurant had spills on tables and didn't give a very hygienic feeling either. Had to wipe them clean before sitting to eat.

Stopped by for takeout. Tried the crispy chicken in cream sauce. It was delicious! Plentiful portions, enough for 2. Done in service with tables & high tops available. Can't wait to come back!

I've got Chicken Pad Thai with a 4 Spice level. However, the spice wasn't near to be spicy. I would say it's a 2 and not a 4. In addition, the chicken needs to be marinated longer. Overall the food is good & the pricing

A hidden gem! Yod's Thai Eatery absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the Panang curry and drunken noodles with tofu, and both were packed with flavor -- rich, balanced, and cooked with real heart. The spice level was just right, and the tofu had that perfect texture that's so hard to get right. But the real soul of this place? The two lovely older ladies running the kitchen and counter. They were warm, welcoming, and you can feel the love they pour into every dish. It felt like I was being fed by aunties -- so sweet, so genuine. If you're craving authentic Thai food and want to support a place with heart, don't sleep on Yod's. I'll definitely be back!

I don't understand how this place has good reviews. My husband and I were excited to try. We walked in and immediately saw it's a family owned restaurant. I'm guessing, mom, dad and daughter. We were telling each other this place is going to be so good. We ordered to start the egg roll. This was decent nothing spectacular. We also got the pineapple fried rice ( I was so excited about this) and it was horrible! No flavor whatsoever. So bummed. Then we ordered our entree. What a disappointment. Both lacked complete flavor, which was bazaar, I thought. The pork on my plate did not look appetizing at all, so I picked it out. We tasted it and both agreed it was not good. My husband had to put so much soy sauce just to get it to taste like something. He barely ate it. He took his to go, because he didn't want to be rude, then he threw it out. Such a waste. I definitely don't recommend this place and won't be coming back. I was debating whether to do this review just because I really wanted this place to be exceptional just because it's family owned. I decided to go forward with review because it hurts to spend money on "not so great food" There waaayyyy better Thai restaurants around, authentic as well.

She's from Korea and lived many years in Los Angeles. Currently, she lives here in Phoenix. With our backgrounds, we know Authentic Thai Food. One bite, I was disappointed. The second bite, confirmed the taste was NOT authentic. Many complex ingredients were missing! Where was the tamarind subtle flavor? Where was the Kaffir Lime Leaves? Where was the fish sauce? Where was the thick gravy sauce? No use of cornstarch.... If you want Authentic Thai Food, please do not go to this restaurant. However, if you are a person who likes plain food, with no depth of Thai flavors, this is your place. My friend and I just played with our food after the second bite. Even the Thai Iced Tea tasted like a premixed drink that came from a carton. It was like a Chai Tea watered down by water and ice. I took the food home, hoping that I would be able to doctor it up. Nope! I didn't even bother to put it in the refrigerator and immediately place it in the trash. Very disappointed. As for the service, it was very questionable because no one even SAW that we went eating. Finally, after 15 minutes or so, I say our food was okay. I lied!! And asked for the check, like we wanted to escape an establishment that was based on a sham. The decor was nice and the location was quiet for an afternoon weekend. That should have been our clue to avoid the place. You can definitely get plain Americanized Thai food from this place.

No lime, no tamarind, nothing but soggy, sad, sterile noodles and chili oil. The drunken noodles were slightly better because there was a hint of basil. No love, no flavor, nothing Thai about this garbage. The Deep Fried Veggies Rolls were obviously premade and microwaved. Garbage. The bbq pork fried rice was the only thing that was "ok". It barely qualifies as acceptable but it is way better than the noodle dishes. The fact that this place has so many positive reviews means that people either are being paid for reviews or have never had remotely decent Thai food in their lives. Stay away.

The servers were quick and polite an had the order ready to go when I arrived for pick up. There were plenty of seats, light music, and cozy lighting, definitely feels like authentic Thai food. Chicken Pad Thai (no tofu): 5/5 This one is the reason you come back. Perfect comfort balance of sweet/savory, chewy noodles that don't go weird in a takeout box, and solid chicken in every bite. If pad thai is your go-to order, this is a very safe (and very happy) decision. Pad See Ieww: 3.5/5 Not bad at all--still hits that cozy, savory noodle craving--but it didn't have the same, "I need this again tomorrow" magic as the pad thai. More of a good side character than the main event. Flavor just didn't hit as well as the pad Thai. Deep Fried Veggie Rolls: 3.5/5 Sauce is definitely what makes this dish! The outside was crunchy and inside was cooked perfectly, just not what you'd expect from a veggie roll. The flavor for me wasn't as full. Pro tip: order the chili sauce! It's the little add-on that turns "this is good" into "wait...why is this so much better now?" I'm already plotting a round two... and yes, the chili sauce will be coming home with me again.

The flavors are bold but still refined, and nothing tastes muddy. The tom yum is another standout for me. It's bright, tangy, and comforting all at once, with layers of flavor that really pop. Even the side dishes shine. I'm a big fan of the chicken wings and skewers. They're seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and never feel like an afterthought.
