Thai House Pad See Ew was a nice dish with chicken, broccoli, carrots with a nice blend of yummy. Panang Curry with chicken had a nice kick with excellent flavor, I have to eat this with rice, another winner. Chow Mein is s good dish with lots of items in the noodles, broccoli, carrots, shrimp.and beef, probably the 3rd favorite dish but still good. Service was spot on and always very helpful. Visit Sonora village to find Thai House. Today I wanted to order noodles so I got number 40 Pad See Ew; Noodles with vegetables in a gravy. I waited about five minutes for the order to be ready. They certainly are quick to deliver their orders. This was our dinner. Well, the meal was good, the dish seemed to be lacking something. I think their rice dishes might be better than noodles. I am not exactly sure if it is the most authentic just based off of some of the choice on the menu (even though the orange chicken was fire) The staff here were so nice and got us seated quickly on a packed Friday night! Came in around 7pm on a Sunday. More than half the tables were open. We were seated right away and the table had rice on it. I requested to sit somewhere quieter and that table was sticky. Took a while to order, staff was busy busing tables but the food came out fairly quickly. We ordered the kung pao with extra veggies (not Thai, I know!!). It was very average. The chicken tasted microwaved :( the veggies were crisp and plentiful! The sauce was a little watery and there weren't any Szechuan peppercorns or more authentic ingredients. I was in the area and decided to try Thai House. Plenty of seats in the restaurant so I seated myself as both servers were busy. I was promptly helped with a menu. I ordered their pad kaprow (basil meat) rice dish and a Thai milk tea. Thai milk tea was freshly brewed and I got to mix it myself! Tasted authentic and delish! My pad kaprow ground chicken was very good. Big portion- definitely meant for sharing. Cooked well and had plenty of sauce. Would highly recommend! read more

This is a solid Thai place and our go-to place for pan Asian. I always order the Larb salad (three spice) and it's the best I have tried in the Scottsdale area. It comes warm so I like to chill it and it's best next day. My husband always orders Pad Thai (no spice), which he enjoys. Today I tried ginger dish with tofu (spice level 3). It was fragrant and delicious. At first I regretted not ordering beef but it was not a mistake at all and I was so glad to eat a veggie dish. Perfect level of heat - just a tad spicy. Had some time to kill and wanted quick lunch so I came by here. Lunch menu price looked reasonable and there were some people eating so I said why not. I ordered the chicken panang lunch special with salad. I was briefly worried when I told the waitress I wanted thai hot and she stopped, looked at me and asked me again if I wanted thai hot.. I said yes, snd I thought to myself oooh it's going to kick my booty.. Well, salad was ok with the ginger soy flavor dressing. My panang came out pretty quick. I usually don't order chicken for lunch special because I don't like the taste and or texture. Well. I was right. The curry was little on the too much sweet side and had little kick. Chicken was little bit on the tough over cooked side for my liking . Over all was not bad. I ate half way through and expected the heat to creep up on me, but didn't. Service was good, kind and prompt. They didn't really anticipate my needs and offer items such as to go boxes but were responsive when I asked. Well priced lunch specials. I went with the 1/2 charbroiled chicken but honestly disappointed. There was no char. It seemed dry and had a bit of a glaze I didn't expect. A lot of bones in the pieces I started with. Saved most of it to take home so I could dress it up with more flavors. Well-portioned though. The egg drop soup was great. The side salad was great. I also tried the fresh rolls. They were very good. The sauce was a bit too sweet and I couldn't really taste the peanuts with the sauce but not bad. The place seems to get popular at nuts so assuming order items are popular. I was driving somewhere else to eat a salad, when I saw this place. Some Tom Kha Soup sounded good! (Never-mind the fact I ate some at a different Thai restaurant yesterday. ) I still wanted it. A small portion. I am trying to be mindful of my food portions these days. I ordered their Tom Kha soup with chicken and a side of white rice. The portion was perfect for me. Restaurant is clean and busy. Service is prompt and friendly. Country music is playing in the background. My soup was spice level 2 and perfect for me. Goldilocks would say it's just right. I have tried multiple Thai restaurants in Scottsdale and this place has by far the BEST Thai food in Scottsdale. I tried the Panang curry and the spicy basil with chicken and both were fantastic. The flavor of the Panang curry was so so delicious and paired perfectly with rice. The spicy basil with chicken was also delicious and the perfect spice level. This hole in the wall exists even before Covid hit us and has been running through successfully. When the food and service is good it's bound to stay! We went here for a lunch and this place was crowded for a Monday during lunch! I went with iced tea and pad Thai noodles with a spice level 3. The service was quick and the waiter was friendly. The food was delicious, the portion was decent and enjoyed my meal. I would highly recommend this place. We got the panang curry vegetarian (insanely good), the beef pad see ew (soooo good), and shrimp pad Thai! My husband loved the pad see ew and so did I, really great flavors and the panang curry's flavors were so good we will definitely be getting takeout here more often! I really love Thai food and the fact that I can go anywhere and try a new Thai place and I'm usually quite happy with the result, which is great, but not today. I was visiting Scottsdale and there were three Thai restaurants very close to each other near the airport and I picked this one due to its slightly higher Google rating, mistake on my part! I got two items for takeout, the mixed of vegetable, which was very fresh and tasty, and chicken pad Thai, which is my go to dish for a restaurant I had not visited before, if I like their chicken pad Thai, I probably will like their other items. This place served me chicken pad Thai that was obviously old as it was dried out and tasted kind of funny. Instead of a sprinkling of peanuts, they put an entire layer over it, I'm assuming you try to cover up the fact that it was old and shouldn't have been served. Lesson learned, I will never visit this establishment again, too many great choices just down the street. Think twice, you can do better! read more

We recently tried this spot for takeout and were really impressed with some of the dishes! The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) and Red Curry--both with chicken--were absolutely delicious. Easily some of the best we've ever had. The flavors were bold, the spice was just right, and the chicken was tender and plentiful. Highly recommend both! Unfortunately, the Fried Rice was a letdown. It was mostly filled with unwanted vegetables and lacked any real flavor--the rice itself tasted more like plain steamed rice than something properly stir-fried. We added shrimp for an extra $4, but the portion was pretty small, especially compared to how much chicken came with the other dishes. Definitely not worth the upcharge. Overall, a bit of a mixed experience: the noodle and curry dishes knocked it out of the park, but the fried rice needs serious improvement. If you stick to the noodles and curry, though, you're in for a treat! read more

I've had thai food in Scottsdale before and had always thought it was too americanized until I found this place. The food was really good. The curry was actually curry with coconut milk and the right ingredients. No peas or baby corn in it like some surround places. The pad thai was pretty good, too. The egg rolls were decent but would have been better if they came with lettuce and the fish dipping sauce. Overall, I have no complaints about the food. It's all around really good. The service was fantastic, too. We came in close to closing, but they let us dine in. The waiter was friendly, and the food came out fast. There's nothing to complain about here. The atmosphere is just what you'd think it would be. Typical Asian restaurant. Nothing too fancy but also nothing too trashy. Clean and well kept. Definitely will be back here again when I'm craving thai food. A must try for those who haven't been! read more

Ordered the drunken noodles, pad Thai, and coconut soup to go. Portions were good and service was fast. Drunken noodles were a 4/5. Pad Thai did NOT taste like pad Thai. Just tasted mildly of peanut sauce with a ton of gochugaru (red pepper powder). I ordered medium spice. Wasn't as spicy as I wanted, but I'm glad I didn't get more gochugaru, because that was the main flavor profile. 2/5. Coconut soup (Tom Ka) was a 3/5. Just average. I would recommend to the restaurant to take out the cabbage or at least cooking it down more. Replace cabbage with onions and tomatoes maybe. Mushrooms would be better sliced instead of cubed. The broth was missing umami. The soup did, at least, taste like Tom Ka- there's just room for improvement. I like that it wasn't sour. It was a balanced flavor. read more
