He had entered his credit card information, and we were deeply concerned that his laptop had been compromised with malware. From the moment we walked in, Eddie greeted us with professionalism and genuine care. He quickly got us onto the Genius Bar waitlist and took the time to listen to our situation without judgment. What truly stood out was his ability to calmly explain how malware works and what risks we might be facing--it immediately put us at ease. Eddie carefully walked us through the process, checked the laptop thoroughly, and shared the appropriate tools to ensure there was no infection. The relief we felt after learning everything was safe is hard to put into words. His kindness, patience, and expertise turned what could have been a very upsetting experience into one where we felt supported and reassured. Hours-long waits instead of just dropping off your product. Apple makes top tier products but their CS and this whole process is an abysmal failure. Jobs rolling in his grave. Very inattentive staff. Sluggish 'check in' process. I loathe coming here. Avoid if you can.

Anyway, I pulled up and sent a text from the email link saying I was outside. Within 5 minutes, a sales rep came out to my car. She verified my ID and went back to get my receipt and phone, and then I was on my way. It took me longer to find the store location in the shopping center. If you enter on Del Mar Heights Rd, you have to turn right to get to the bottom level. When you go down the hill, turn right and the store is on the right, next to FedEx. The only slightly bad thing was, I didn't realize that my new phone had been activated right away, until I attempted make a call on my old phone. lol!

    My phone has been having issues since the Verizon outage. I initially brought it to the Encinitas…read morelocation on the day of the outage. They were very rude and wouldn't even look at my phone even though I explained my issue may not be related. I reset my network settings myself, and it seemed to work for a while. Fast forward to today when I started having issues with my phone again and decided to take it to this location. I could not make or receive calls or get texts that weren't sent from another iPhone. I walked in just after another gentleman, and he was being helped first. There was only one employee helping people. The employee asked my information and started working on my phone while simultaneously helping the other customer. Eventually, another employee came from a side room and took over. His name was Julian and he was very helpful and friendly. He asked what I had done already, which were things he probably would've tried so saved him time. Then he did a little further research and decided my sim was failing. I'm not sure if I've ever replaced my SIM card in my older iPhone. He replaced it and my phone worked again instantly. I hope that was all that it was because it was an easy fix. He then offered me an upgrade with a new plan. I declined as I'm not ready to do that right now. Maybe I'm imagining it but my phone seems faster already. Thanks for your help Julian. It was a much better experience than in the Encinitas store.

    This review is for the Encinitas / Cardiff location off Santa Fe Drive between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m…read more on Saturday , September 24th , 2022 : I went in to get the Liquid cement screen protector and nobody else was in the shop. I asked the store associate if she could do it for me and she said she didn't know how and proceeded to ask her coworker in the back on his break who might have been the manager. He said it's super easy and that she could do it and she obliged at which point I asked if I could go run an errand and come back if I leave my phone there as collateral for her to put the liquid cement on anyway and she said sure . So I left and 25 minutes later came back and I asked did you figure it out? She said yes and guided me through the payment process on a very complicated card reader that asks several questions before processing payment . So I paid and she said, " give me about 10 minutes." I asked what do you mean? I was gone for 25 minutes and you said I could do it and when I got back I asked if you had figured it out and you said yes . She replied that she had to deal with a couple customers and I looked around and nobody else was in the shop just like the first time I came in 25 minutes prior. I almost asked for my money back and left because she was very misleading and couldn't believe she couldn't accomplish the simple task in the 25 30 minutes that I was gone. This may sound like an entitled first world problem review but my beef is the fact that she said she could do it and didn't end up doing it in the 25 to 30 minutes I was gone. It's the principal that she said she would do something but then didn't do it. And I wouldn't have left this one star review if it was that alone but then she doubled down and made it seem like she had done it , had me pay and then proceeded to start doing it after I paid first. Horrible customer service ! Why would I leave and run an errand to save time just to wait another 10 minutes when I got back?? Moral of the story, if you can't do something, then don't tell me you can. If company policy mandates I pay first then so be it but you need to tell me that as a store associate because I don't know your policies. According to her, it was not a policy and when I asked if I could leave my phone as collateral, she said yes and she said she would do it. Furthermore, what was the guy doing in the back room not helping out when she "got busy"?? Btw, your entrance Door says to pull when it's actually push and the exit door says to push when it's actually Pole . Might want to get that fixed ...
