My first time visiting this location, and I stopped by to upgrade my phone. I was immediately helped by a very nice gentleman who made the entire process easy and stress-free. He was knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything clearly. I upgraded my iPhone and got a package deal that included a case and screen protector. He did a great job installing the screen protector and helped me transfer all my data from my old phone to the new one. Overall, a great experience with excellent customer service. read more

Dear Verizon Customer Service, I am writing to share my disappointment with a recent experience. Verizon used to provide what I considered some of the best customer service--representatives were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and focused on resolving the issue. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very different. In my opinion, the level of service has gone from 100% to 3%. I recently needed a replacement phone. The first representative I spoke with was kind, although she spoke incessantly and repeatedly tried to discuss upgrades. I explained at least four times that I am not the person who makes decisions regarding upgrades or changes to our account. I also told her several times that I needed to get off the phone because my phone was overheating and the battery was dying--which was the reason I needed a replacement in the first place. She told me that, because I had been so nice, she would waive both the $49 replacement fee and the $14 delivery fee. She also told me the replacement phone would arrive on Monday. Later, I realized I had forgotten to ask about the size of the replacement phone, so I called back. Unfortunately, my experience with the second representative was even more frustrating. He was very intense and would not allow me to end the call, despite my repeatedly explaining that I do not make decisions regarding our account. I eventually told him I had to go and hung up. He then called me several times and left multiple messages, including one that simply said, "Wow." I found this behavior inappropriate and uncomfortable. The delivery experience was also frustrating. I had arranged for my daughter to be at my home to sign for the phone based on the delivery date I was originally given. Verizon then changed the delivery date, so I sent her home. The date was changed again, and FedEx attempted delivery in the meantime. This created unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. To add to my frustration, I am now being charged the $49 replacement fee, despite being specifically told by the first representative that it would be waived. We have been Verizon customers for approximately 15 years, and it is disappointing to feel that customer service has become so focused on sales and upgrades rather than listening to and helping the customer. Pushy sales tactics are irritating, especially when a customer has clearly stated multiple times that they are not authorized to make those decisions. Verizon can do better. We have remained loyal customers for many years, but experiences like this have caused us to seriously consider whether it is time to take our business to another company. I would appreciate someone reviewing this situation, including the promised waiver of the replacement and delivery fees, as well as the repeated and unwanted calls from the second representative. In December, I went into this store because Verizon was offering a buyout deal -- they were supposed to buy out what I still owed on my phone and let me choose a new model. I was told it would be paid off. It was not. Now I have a bill this month for $700 and some odd dollars to pay it off. While I was there, they also told me I needed an upgrade for my 5G network and offered me a new box. I agreed to the upgrade. They told me I didn't need to fill out anything and that I did not need to turn in the old box. When I later called 611 to confirm everything, I found out the store had set my account up completely wrong. They had it charging me for two 5G boxes (so I was being billed twice), and I was also being charged to pay off my phone -- even though I was promised it would be paid off under the buyout. This store was extremely unprofessional and clearly didn't know what they were doing. They royally messed up my account and it took me a full week to get everything cleared up with Verizon (611). Verizon has now told me that going forward the only store I should use is the Verizon-owned store by Olive Garden in Carlsbad, and that it's the only legitimate Verizon store in the area. These kids are a joke!! This store shows the absolute epitome of hourly employees. So don't waist your time and just dail *611 Yes I would like to add how unprofessional the kids are that work at this location. I waited patiently in line and because "your system was running slow" the gentleman could not pull up a simple bill of sale for an iPhone purchased and decided to help every other customer instead with full access to their accounts. read more

What a horrible experience at this store. I ordered a phone online from Verizon. The site directed me to this store for pickup. Anthony informed me that they didn't have the phone that was ordered and asked me to return later in the day to get what I wanted. My husband also wanted a phone and he went to pick it up later in the day while getting, bringing home the wrong color. When he took it back, Anthony tried to put the blame on me. Because Verizon has a tendency to change your plan without warning, I expressly told this sales associate NO PLAN CHANGES. I ended up with a device protection monthly add on, my husband ended up with cloud storage and we both had hotspots added...4 services totaling $50/mo. It took 2 calls to Verizon (2 hrs) to undo what had been done. DON'T GO HERE. read more

I was having a frustrating issue that I couldn't resolve, and even after trying other solutions, nothing seemed to work--until Xavier stepped in. It started off rough and I was actually being rude because I couldn't get verified as to my account. Brian ended up helping me and really resolved my issue and kept his cool even though I was being rude to him. He never took it personally and continued to help me and was able to get me a replacement phone same day. Can't say enough about Brian. read more

BEWARE- Verizon 3rd Party store. We purchased 2 phones in February 2024 and switch our plan from personal to a business account. The plan included a router for internet services. We had 30 days to return the router if we chose not to use the internet. We went back to the store the same month to return it and was told they couldn't help us that we needed to call the customer service number and let them know we didn't want it so they could send us a return box and they would cancel the service once it was received. We called and was told they were sending the box out and the service would be suspended until they received the router. After 2 weeks of not receiving the return box we called almost every other week up until June 2024 when we finally got someone that actually sent us the box. Everytime we called they said they sent it, however we never got it. We returned the router and it was received in July 2024, however we are still getting the internet charge and now the internet service isn't suspended it says active and they aren't refunding the charges for the internet. We've been contacting them now almost every week to have then cancel the service and refund us for 3 months of an extra $75 on our bill and we keep being told there's a ticket open but no response. Everytime they open another ticket and it has been almost a year now and it still hasn't been resolved. Our bill should be $140 monthly but are being charged $220 because of the service they have proof was received July 2024 but still haven't canceled it. We need the service to be canceled and the last 3 months of over paying and taxes on the service not used to be refunded. We keep getting the go around and still no resolution almost a year later. Spending hours on the phone and on chat with the customer service is ridiculous and time consuming with no final response or action taken to resolve the issue. When you go back to the store all they say is they can't help only custom service can, yet they are the ones that sell the service and tell you if you choose not to keep it it easy to return however, they won't help you with any issues because they are a 3rd party store and not corporate. read more

Beware, this is not a Verizon store, it is a 3rd-party company with their own policies, which are not Verizon policies and which Verizon does not honor. The staff at this store got enjoyment out of being rude to a 4'10" senior citizen (ageism, which will be reported) and one staff member was completely incompetent. She talked me out of buying a new phone when I suspected my phone, not purchased there and not under Verizon service, was defective. I switched to Verizon service and got no reception. I went to my previous provider, T-Mobile, and it turns out I did have a defective phone. Victra refused to refund a $39.99 "set up and go" fee to set up service to a phone that got no service. I stopped by this store today to talk to a representative about my 5g Wireless service. Right when i got in the store there was no greeting or nothing. Out of the two representatives that were at the store one of them was busy doing god knows what on a laptop & the other lady representative was helping other people when she approached me she basically told me to F off. She literally told me she couldnt help me to go to another store & that after she helped other people she had to go to Lunch. Jonathon and Shaq were very professional, courteous, and extremely persistent in addressing my situation. They both greeted me when I walked in but Jonathon finished the transaction and phone set up with me because Shaq needed to take care of another customer. I had started just a bit earlier in the day at the Verizon Oceanside Store on 4221 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside, CA where that store manager, Andrew, also very professional, courteous, and extremely helpful had contacted Jonathon because the Oceanside store did not stock the item I wanted, but, the Vista store did.
