whoever was working Wednesday morning 9/3/25 (tall/large man, dark hair), he had a strange/weird attitude. I mentioned something about the phone/internet speed and he literally looked away with a blank look on his face like he was annoyed with me. it was just a very odd way for someone working in customer service to treat a customer speaking in person. It looked intentionally rude. The female listed and responded appropriately. Whoever the manager is should look up who opened the store that morning and talk to him. Worst customer service experience. Tmoblie replaced a broken phone and shipped it to this store- when we went to pick it up we were told the phone would not be transferred the new phone to us but would be submitting a claim through the insurance and the new phone would be shipped and received the following day. When the phone did not arrive we contacted the store, mobile, and insurance again. With both the store and insurance on the line, they went back and forth about liability- Long story short after 10 hours of additional phone time, Tmobile assured us that our phone was still in the store, providing tracking numbers and telling us to "go now" and pick it up. On the Tmobile side, it was reported that we had picked up the phone earlier in the week and returned the broken phone- they seemed confused/concerned as to why the phone was not released to us earlier in the week. Once we arrived at the store, we spoke to Bernie, he refused to release the phone and told us to come back the next day. They claimed their wifi was down and although they could look at my account - they said I should have come earlier in the evening if I needed help. He refused service and we had to return to the store for the third time the following day. Evelyn helped my son and after all the visits and so many hours was helpful and made the transfer. Bernie the asst. manager who was there the night before was there, complaining that he wanted to go home and that other customers were being rude to him. From our perspective, the store called insurance to have our phone replaced and have us pay a co-pay- while they bypassed T-mobile and kept our phone. I don't usually write reviews- but I have never had a horrible guest service experience like this- this one is to be avoided! read more

After visiting a different store and finding out I qualify for a free line, I came to this location to asked about it. The guy that helped me assured me that this new line was completely free to me. I asked him several times if there was a catch or if they were going to charge me later on and his answer was always "No". I bought the phone and forced my mom to change companies and take advantage of this promotion, but after a month, my bill came up and it was higher. I went into the store and one of the employees adjusted amount. The following month my bill came up and it was high again. I went back and asked them to please fix the problem. They asked me to return when the person that helped me was there because they needed to hear "his side of the story" so I went back a few days later while he was scheduled to work just to find out he had left for the day so there was nothing they could do I went back again the following week and talk to an assistant manager who said there was nothing he could do, but to put in a help ticket on the system and wait to see what the company said. A few days later the assistant manager called me to let me know that there was nothing they could do. They assured me the line was completely free every time I asked if there was going to be any charges for the line. Because of that, I forced my mother to change phone companies, spend over $250 dollars to buy a T-Mobile phone, make several trips to the store to solve this problem so they can just tell me that there is nothing they can do about it! I would not recommend anybody to come to this store. read more

Don't go to the store in Vista, or any T-Mobile store! In fact avoid T-Mobile completely! Sales people are unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and extremely fraudulent. Anthony the sales rep, signed me up for a free line when I pay for two, for a reasonable rate. When I received my first bill it was almost double. I went back to the store and was reassured by Anthony the bill will be adjusted. Unfortunately several trips back to the store dealing with ignorant sales people and manager each months I was charged a high amount. After filing a claim and three month later I found out that promotion never existed. I changed service provider, paid my bill for the phone in full and T- Mobile isn't unlocking my phones! Don't go there and if so be aware they don't unlock your I-phone when you switch service provider, even after you pay the phone off and by law you are the rightful owner. read more

This place is filled with unprofessional people that sign you up for plans that you didn't even ask for. I went in back in November 10th 2023 to trade in my purple iPhone 11 for an iPhone 14 Pro Max, whoever helped me and my dad out, she restarted the plan over and over again because apparently she kept messing up, a month later we get a bill in the mail for almost $700?? Wth did that girl do?? (She's Mexican, in her mid twenties with long dark brown straight hair) Then we tried going back to get this resolved "oh there's no record that your phone was even traded in!" Even though I physically handed her my phone and she took it from me. They said a $300 would be put to the new trade in when financing but that was never reflected. We're thinking about leaving this stupid bill unpaid and switching ASAP. Why bother hiring anyone if they have no idea what they're doing. Thanks for the most difficult time we've ever had with T-Mobile in that past 3 months compared to being loyal paying customers for over 10 years. You lost our business. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere because odds are these employees will sign you up for what you didn't even ask for and put on a dumb face when confronted about it. THANKS VISTA LOCATION. We came here to join T Mobile. Stephanie was great took her time explaining everything so we decided to sign up. We were aware there was a iPhone trade in promotion so the next day upon repairing our iPhone screen we came in to finally do a trade in. Anthony was beginning our trade in and after letting him know that we have repaired the screen to trade in he without doing an inspection decided that it wouldn't pass inspection. We left this location extremely regretful we even signed up with T Mobile. Fortunately we got a second opinion the phone did in fact pass in store and corporate inspection and our trade in was accepted. T-Mobile - A bad experience! I have been waiting for 5G LAN support to become available in our area. I responded to an ad for T-Mobile and was told that their INSEEGO 5G MIFI M2000 mobile 5G hotspot would work in our area. There was a trail period and was told by the T-Mobile representative if it did not work and I returned the equipment within the trail period, the account would be closed, and our investment would be returned. We would owe nothing more. So, we tried it. It did not work to the level we needed. So, I returned it. On 1-28-22 I received an email saying that T-Mobile received the equipment and in 10 days they would issue a refund. Currently it is 3-7-22 and today I received a collection letter on the T-Mobile account!!! Three times since 1-28-22 we received either a bill or a notification that we owed X-dollars. Each time I called T-Mobile and when through all the steps to attempt to clear it up. I was assured each time that it would clear in the next processing cycle. It did not. No one at T-Mobile would give me written notification. Today I was so mad that I called and demanded to talk to a manager. The representative forced me to go through the same song and dance and gave me the same response that it would clear in the next billing cycle. I demanded to talk to a manager. The representative came back and told me she had informed the manager of my story and the manager was willing to take off X-Dollars of what was owed. Also, that she was not available. I went through the roof and ended up hanging up!!! The representative called me back and after I told her I was going to sue T-Mobile over this, she said her boss OKed clearing the full amount owed out of my account right then. What I was told could not be done multiple times!!! I asked for an email confirming this. She said they could not do this. She said I could go to a T-Mobile store, and they could confirm it. Which I did. When I asked for a written copy, I was told they could not. What a bunch of B.S.!!!! SO, I took pictures of the computer screen. Bottom line I will never deal with this company again! read more

This is by far the most customer oriented T-Mobile store located at 1811 University Dr. in Vista, CA. I was so thrilled by the level of service provided to me both by Garett, the Store Manager and his assistant Logan. Both staff members are full of knowledge and executed what I needed in a courteous and timely fashion!!! Both Garret and Logan made my transition in getting an upgraded I-phone 13 Pro Max such an enjoyable experience. Staff like them should be highly compensated by T-Mobile! Once I stepped foot at the premise I knew I will be fully taken care of!!! This store provides excellent customer service! In particular, I would like to recognize Alma V. for her patience, courtesy, professionalism and tech savvy abilities. Alma was able to transfer my addresses from my old phone to my new one. The store was very busy on Sunday late morning, and she painstakingly worked on this project despite various interruptions. In general, the entire T-Mobile staff at this store was courteous and accommodating. Phone service is a competitive industry, and T-Mobile certainly does everything right. Came in to exchange a phone that was never used within 3 days of purchase and we were told it works be a $50 return fee. Asked if it could be waved since we would be purchasing a more expensive phone. Was told no by the manager without any accommodation or any creative options to meet us half way, we asked. Since we felt our business wasn't valued, we returned the phone instead of exchanging it and we canceled our family plan. Paid the $50 and taking our business elsewhere. read more

Just had a terrible experience trying to get my T-Mobile Tuesday gift for myself and my mother who is currently working as a flight attendant. I never had an issue getting my T-Mobile Tuesday gift here until tonight when I was told to open up my app and to redeem the gift which is the first time ever doing so and that they can only give me one gift, even though they had a box full on the counter. After telling the staff repeatedly that my mother was working tonight, and is unable to come in, they were telling me that I can only receive one even though they had a box fully stocked full of free gifts. They encouraged me to bring all of the phones on the family line which my family lives all over San Diego to redeem one gift per phone It was 10 minutes prior to closing, and they had leftover stock of the tmobile gifts yet it was a pain to get another one which is never the issue. To know that the staff here will go out of their way to a paying customer of four lines is ridiculous. read more

I 'll keep it short.....I'll leave some nonsense I had to deal with out, but, still, damn....Here goes: This location was sloppy with my personal info being put into the system and, because of that,I spent an hour and a half on the phone trying to file a claim. No resolution. I went into the store for help and a brochure was whipped out, handed to me, (Very obvious the sale associate didn't want to problem solve with me. They are salary and commission and it wasn't HIS customer so the incentive of simply being helpful wasn't enough for him) and I was sent away to retry what was not successful the night before. Then.....I went into the store on East Vista Way in the Albertson's parking lot and received excellent service. Jackie let me use her personal phone and pulled up my info and helped me struggle through another hour on the phone untangling the mess the University Store created. It was one hundred percent my fault that I dropped my phone on the floor of the airport and cracked the screen but it was the hurried nature of the University store's rep that had me wasting 3 hours of time with incorrect info that made filing on-line impossible and placing me suffering horrific phone wait times where a recorded message tells me over and over again "For faster service go on line...blah blah blah" ...CONCLUSION: First world problems happen , I will crinkle my nose at the University T-Mobile every time I pass it now and Jackie at the East Vista Way location....rocks. I went into the store after coffee spilled onto my 2-year old Samsung and shorted it out. They responded pretty quickly, all things considered, since there were only 2 guys in the shop and 4 customers, and I never felt like I was ignored or like they lost track of me. Specifically, though, I'm writing this based on the service I got from Jeremy, the sales rep on the floor who helped me deal with the issue. I was in a rush between jobs and he managed to get me settled in with a phone that suited my needs that was within my budget, on a payment plan, with all the paperwork complete, in less than 20 minutes. Very honest, upfront, efficient with using the system, knowledgeable about the phones, and when I told him I'd have to leave by a certain time, he did an excellent job of keeping track to make sure I could, indeed, get out to make my next shift. I paid $99 to get my phone replaced under insurance. I was told that the stone no longer carried a screen protector for my phone. The sales associate informed me that if I bought one somewhere else and bring it in, that he could attach it for me. I walked into the store two days later at the manager refused to help my with this simple problem. As a customer of T-mobile for over 15 years, I can't believe that I'm offered this kind of service. I got a new phone here last night and when I got home I realized it wasn't connected to the cell network. I went in first thing this morning, and though it did take a while to figure out, they realized that someone had previously entered in an incorrect code and claimed there was fraud on the phone in 2015. It was brand new when i got it from them, so obviously there was no fraud on my end, and they ended up giving me another phone and helped me set everything up! Our T Mobile service is problematic. For months my wife has encountered issues with people being unable to hear here when they call-even with the phone is connected to WiFi. She has spent hours on the phone with T Mobile to no avail. Latest recommendation is to get a new SIM card. Her iPhone is relatively new. Last night my calls to her would not connect despite 4 bars. I used to go to a T-Mobile store right by my house, but after horrible customer service, I tried out another store. Thank goodness I did because I walked in and had the friendliest women help me. If I recall her name was Teresa and oh my goodness, she was so patient with me. I kept forgetting all my passwords but with her help, we were able to get into my account and fix some of the problems I have having with my billing. I will definitely recommend her to all my friends who have a phone with T-Mobile and will never go to any other store again! This young man will go far in whatever he chooses to do as he knows his product and has the ability to teach without being condescending. Not every T-mobile is created equal. This one stands heads and shoulders above the other ones in this area in my opinion. I've been using them for a while and my experiences have generally been very pleasant. I recently went to a T-mobile store and added my Fiance onto my account and the sales person Adrian was very helpful. The store in general has employees that are more helpful than usual and by helpful I mean they're interacting with you, telling you about specials and plans and basically giving you personalized attention. Amazing experience here at this store! I have been wanting to switch over to T-Mobile for months now so I decided to go in to this store. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the sweetest and most friendly employee! Her name was Teresa. She asked me what brought me in that day and helped me switch over to T-mobile very easily and quick! She helped me get a new phone to replace the previous one I had which was cracked and helped me pick out a case for my phone which is very durable.
