The staff and customer service at this store is above and beyond. First, Cloey was outstanding when I came in to get some pants I rented tailored. She recognized right away that my store back home in Iowa did a terrible job measuring me and immediately decided to order me a new style and size ASAP since I needed them the day after next. She even contacted the Iowa store and reminded them about the importance of getting the correct measurements so this stuff doesn't happen. The next day I called to see if my reorder has been delivered and found out they had not been sent for delivery for some unknown reason. The assistant manager, Lorena, from the Oceanside, California store was fantastic in tracking down my reorder for my pants. She was diligent, determined, and empathetic to my situation. After Cloey made my day yesterday, Lorena was on a mission and stayed on the phone at least twice for over 30 minutes with fedex tracking down where they were and was able to convince them to let me pick it up using my out of state ID. Also a shout out to Nathan that works there for being so pleasant and helpful on the phone even when I might not have been. The customer service here is some of the best I have even experienced in my entire life and they should be acknowledged. I appreciate how hard they worked to fix my nightmare situation! I called ahead and was told my suits could be tailored so drove all the way there. Then we get there she says oh it's been sitting in your closet too long. Chloe was the associate and I feel she was rude and disrespectful. At least be apologetic for the waste of time and miscommunication. The service here was not great at all there were 2 people working. One man who was already helping someone and a woman in the back by the fitting rooms. The woman was not very helpful. This was our first time getting us a suit so we weren't sure how it worked. After the man was done helping his current customer he did help us and got us the right sizes. We came in to get a couple of suits retailored and completely forgot that we needed to heave them dry cleaned first (not a big deal and completely understandable). She was snippy and condescending. It wasn't a great experience, I went to the store last week to get my suit tailored and was turned away because it hadn't been dry cleaned in a while, which is understandable but I felt that the way the rep was speaking to me was a bit snobby and stand offish (no clue what her name was, dark red hair.) I got it dry cleaned at the place next to bevmo, came back today and was told it was going to cost almost as much to get it tailored as the suit was in the first place lol. I was confused because the whole reason I bought the suit from Men's Wearhouse in the first place was because I was under the impression that alterations were free for their own suits. She explained the policy for alterations and it feels quite misleading the way the company advertises for it versus the actual policy. Not her fault though, that's more on the company, I just had another bad interaction with her, didn't love the way she was speaking to me. I will say that the Tailor was super kind and professional and the other women working there (black hair and cool tats) was super kind. It just wasn't worth it to me to spend upwards of 300 dollars. I'm just going to thrift a nice suit that fits and get it dry cleaned, think my time with Men's Wearhouse is at it's end. read more

Went in for a suit rental for my son's first homecoming event for school. Cynthia and the other staff members were sooo accommodating. I would've gave this 5 stars but unfortunately my experience with one of the staff members by the name of Chase wasn't so good. Each time we came into the store (my son needed suit adjustments) Chase seemed very irritated with our presence. The first encounter with him, he avoided helping set my son up to try on his suit by walking off to do something else. One of the other ladies noticed it and came over (she had red hair and was super sweet) to help us. Chase later walked over to let us know how long it would take that same lady to make changes to my son's pants (they were too short and she fixed it). I explained to him that I needed to be at work and asked if I could come back in the morning to pick it up (he said it would take an hour). Chase gave me this blank stare as if there was something wrong with my request and was like "yeah i guess but of something is wrong tomorrow, we won't be able to fix it" (total bs lie). He seemed so annoyed by us even being in the store. My last encounter with chase was when I dropped my sons suit off. While he was checking it in he was snatching things as if he was annoyed when he asked if I wanted a receipt for the return, he snatched it out the register and laid it on the table for me to pick up instead of handing it to me which was very odd. I ignored it (as usual) and left the store. When I got home, I had a question about the suit rental return so I called them back to ask. Chase answered the phone and I asked him what was the procedure when a customer returns a suit to be sure nothing is lost (it was an expensive suit). I asked him if they usually check it in front of the customer or if they did that later. Chase got snappy without letting me finished and just was like "WE CHECK IT" "WE CHECK IT" "WE CHECK IT". Like in a very rude way for literally no reason. I kept asking him to let me finish and he kept repeating it. So I asked to speak to management and he placed the call on hold and Cynthia came to the phone. She was able to answer my questions and apologized about Chase's behavior. Unfortunately, I'm still considering calling corporate/customer relations because his attitude was so disorderly for no reason and although Cynthia seemed very sincere, it doesn't feel like she will do anything to correct his behavior before he ruins someone else's experience. Although I had a great experience with the other staff members, I will not be returning to this location. My son's experience is very important to me and although I understand people have bad days, this was unnecessary. It felt like he had some sort of bias. I'm a very sweet person and never have these types of issues with anyone. And I also never write bad reviews. read more

On Dec 19 2022, I unexpectedly went into the store looking for my nephews Christmas present, (comfortable dress shirts). Austin helped me right away with a sunshine personality and great attitude. I described to him my nephews age & build but not having a clue the actual dress shirt size. Austin recommended the size based on my description. I went home to confirm with my sister-in-law my nephews measurements . . . Austin nailed it ! So I bought 2 CK non-wrinkle dress shirts and my nephews liked them a lot ! Bonus.. when I went back they were on sale. He also pointed out the $5 clearance sale shirts which I bought as well. Really had hoped for a more supportive helpful staff member . However, the guy helping us didn't ask what we wanted or the vibe we were going for which would've saved us time cause they no longer have light color or beige tuxedos for rent. He just measured my husband and had him try on a tux . Was unhelpful in the whole process . We so would've appreciated some guidance . Different style of tux options etc .. i had to ask for the tux book with different styles... shouldn't that have been one of the first questions? Thoroughly disappointed in this experience . We've rented from men's warehouses before and staff was so much more helpful elsewhere. Two thumbs down customer service was so 0/10 . They weren't busy or understaffed so I was so confused why we weren't helped at all. They lost out on so much business cause we have 8 groomsmen and even if we decide to go with a different look wouldn't come back here or patronize a business that doesn't value good customer service. *** update: after one of the salesman said that they stopped carrying tan suits across the entire franchise we went to another men's warehouse in which they said a tan option was available and available for rent for all of groomsmen!!!! idk if there was a lack of knowledge of training but he shouldn't be allowed on the floor alone read more

First, the current system they use to just input weight/height is inaccurate. We showed up the day of pick up (4 days before event) with pants and shirt short in length. We were asked to come back the next day to correct sizing and actual measurements were taken. Next day rolls around, shirt is good but pants are still short. We're hoping third time is a charm but workers must think people have no jobs and gas is free to drive back and forth to get it right. Second, the employees attitude is unsat. A suggestion to employees is to get it right the first time and teach each other how to correctly take measurements so this situation could be prevented. Don't take it out in the costumer. We will not be coming back to this location. read more

I visited this location a few weeks ago. I was on my lunch hour so I did not have much time. I stopped in on a Monday or Tuesday and needed a specific item by Friday afternoon. This was a busy week because like me, many other people were shopping last minute in preparation for the Marine Corps ball. I was greeted right away when I entered the store. When I found the type of item I was looking for Jacob assisted me. He was very polite and helpful. Poor selection for a large store they had 1 suit in my size (42R which is a common size) They didn't have time to help me and are severely under staffed. If I were to select a suit here they said tailoring would take a minimum of 3 WEEKS!! I ended up at Macys across the street and the customer service was awesome and selected my suit and left in less than 30 minutes. read more

If I could give my experience more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I came in with our son to get him a suit for prom. Shopping is not something my son enjoys, so I was kind of expecting the worst. Rafael greeted us and took my son under his stylish wing. I just wanted to give some props to David. I was on my way to pick up a couple of suits I was having altered there, and my daughter, who was not feeling well, fell asleep in her car seat. I called the store and asked if they could have the suits ready so I could just run right in and back out so that I would not have to wake her. David was the one who answered and basically said, there's no way you're leaving your daughter out there, I'll be right outside with your suits. He brought them right out to me at the car and was extremely friendly and professional. This is something that is lacking in customer service at most places. Thank you again David! read more
