By the time I found them, I was burnt out on wedding dress shopping. Just from setting up the appt, I already felt this could be my last store! It was fast and easy but the best part was the detailed questionnaire which made me feel they were really invested in finding the best options for me. With their showroom currently under construction, they are doing pop up appts and they brought a full selection of dresses handpicked for me based on my questionnaire. I'm not joking, they were all amazing. I tried on ~10 out of 30 options and ended up with 4 possible "the ones" all in/around budget. It was unreal - no other store experience has even come close. Yvette has an amazing eye for picking out dresses, even those that didn't make the cut were better than top choices from the 3 other stores I visited. They are super communicative and respond fast. Maria & Yvette are a mother-daughter dream team with a passion for finding brides their dream dresses - they are not just trying to upcharge you on whatever random dress. Right now they're working from their pop-up shop because they have renovations at their main location and let me tell you this was the best experience. You need to schedule now! Where do I even begin....I started my research a few months back and came across bridal showcase and their amazing reviews. What caught my immediate attention was that they are family-owned with an amazing mother-daughter duo. I came into Bridal Showcase this past weekend with the idea of simply browsing for a dress (thinking I wouldn't find one at my first bridal shop stop). I had no idea what style dress I was even going for, so my options were quite broad. My mom and I began to browse through the beautiful dresses. At first glance, it was so overwhelming to see a wall full of stunning dresses and I even thought to myself "I'm never going to be able to make up my mind". But, with a few simple questions, Yvette was able to narrow my search down to five dresses. Their selection is huge with literally every style dress imaginable. This was the first and only shop i went to, and my dress was the 3rd on I tried on! They have such a great selection for a small store and Maria and Yvette are the absolute best and it really shows how much they care about you feeling great in your dress. I made a few customizations and even a couple last minute changes and they were so attentive and did not seem bothered by my million questions. The designer actually made a mistake with one of my customizations and Maria handles it before I even noticed. I had a wonderful experience at Bridal Showcase! The ladies in there were so sweet & accommodating when I first came in with my family to shop. Little did I know, I would find my dress that first day at the first shop I went to! I tried on about 15 dresses & I think the dress I ended up going with ended up being one of the first 2 that I tried. When I expressed that I wasn't a fan of the straps on the dress, Maria wasn't even phased--she had a great idea to add on a different type of strap & it ended up turning out PERFECTLY! They helped me out by giving me a discount on the sleeves for the dress so that we could pull the straps from that material. Their seamstress is a literal magician! The experience at David's was really lacking. Bridal showcase gives you the real dress shopping experience. I loved the vibe of the store and they had so many beautiful dresses. There was a group of 5 of us and a baby helping our friend find the perfect dress. He took charge pulling dresses for her and really cared for what she liked and didn't like and then knew what other dresses to pull. He was very personable and made everyone feel very comfortable, even holding the baby at times. Within two hours, not only did our friend choose the most stunning dress I have ever seen, but her entire ensemble (sash and veil). The consultants were so helpful and had me try on some beautiful strapless dresses as they said they could definitely put sleeves on many of them. My cousin got her wedding dress here back in 2012, then my sister got hers here in August of 2015 and a few months later I got mine here. I am so happy that I decided to drive the extra 35 miles to visit (and later buy my dress/do alterations) at Bridal Showcase! I visited 4 other bridal shops in the San Diego area before heading up north to Bridal Showcase and, after deciding on MY dress, it arrived at the shop only 2 months later.
