I am so over the moon to share that I found my dress at the Bustle! It did take a couple of tries to find "the one" but ultimately I found her ;) For my first visit to the Bustle, I did one of their large party reservations. They had champagne for everyone and it was truly a blast, but slightly overwhelming with so many personality types on my side of things. I recommend this to get the experience, but just want to give a heads up on that. I also had fallen in love with a sample dress that just did not fit my body unfortunately, though Tam & Melody tried their best to see how they might be able to modify it. At the end of the day it was just too much to do to the dress. For my second visit, I tried on a dress that I was initially interested in but didn't have time to try on at my first visit. And... well, this is the one. I tried on a few others as well, and ultimately left thinking about that first one. Melody was so awesome for not pushing me to make a decision, I really hate that feeling. So I was grateful to her for being so patient with me- this is a big decision!! At my final visit, it was just to re-try on MY dress and then one that was super similar to it. And that just locked in my decision! We had a wonderful experience working with Tam! I live in a major city, had been to almost a dozen bridal stores there and was still not sure about buying a dress. I came to Del Mar to visit family and they insisted I visit the bustle. Yea right, I thought. Like some tiny store will have anything new. First, it's got a huge inventory. Second, they had designers I had never even heard of before. Tam was wonderful. He was so patient and has a wonderful eye for styling. Came here today for my friend's bridal dress search. She went to 4 places and happy to say she found "the one" here at the Bustle! It was her last stop and we are so glad we came here! First of all, the place is super adorable and it's located on the Main Street of Camino Del Mar. plenty of parking in the back. I love that they personalize the experience for each client and had a cute welcome sign in front with our friend's name on it. Those personal touches mean everything! Tam was SO friendly, warm, and made wonderful suggestions! He was really patient with us and offered to take plenty of photos when we needed. It featured an entire store look book with amazing customization options so I could search for which dresses they had in my budget, in my style! I had the BEST experience at The Bustle!!!! First this place is super easy to get to with TONS of parking in the back, stress free right off the bat! Right when I entered I was greeted with a personalized sign that said: "the bustle welcomes April our bride to be" how cute and adorable is that?!! This was my 4th and LAST stop and I had not experience anything so personable just by walking in. It's the little things. The shop is so cute and small and by appointments only. It feels like you're in a tiny cottage. The only person in the shop was Tam, me and my 3 guests so we had the whole place to ourselves. Tam gave us the warmest greeting and I could already tell I was going to love him! He had all my dresses that I picked from the portal in the dressing room READY TO GO. Btw the portal they have you set up is amazing! I love that it had a look book and I could just heart the ones I wanted to try on. Tam provided professional and exceptional service! He already knew what kinda style I was going for based on what I showed him I tried on at other shops. He was pulling dresses for me to try on left and right! He made me feel so comfortable and beautiful and was giving me the best advice. "If she doesn't beat your first choice then she's not the one!" After trying on a few dresses I already knew I was going to be picking my dress here. I had my top 2 dresses and at the end I kept going back and forth. Tam let me flip back and forth with no hesitation. I ended up saying YES to the dress. It was YES to the very first dress I tried on. I think I knew it deep down when I said going back into the dressing room "I don't want to take it off!" Everyone kept telling me you'll know and you'll feel it once you put it on. If your budget is $1,000 or under just don't even bother with this shop. They are so rude! I saw them at the bridal bazar and made an appointment to see them, they sent me a link with their website to look at the dresses i noticed they didn't have any under $1k and i texted her back and told her i just didn't want to waste their time or mine because i had a specific budget and didn't want to go over. She tells me that they have plenty under $1k they just aren't on their website so i decided to not cancel the appointment. A day before the appointment she texts me saying the only dresses under $1k are sample sizes and probably won't fit me not even knowing my size or anything which kind of already made me feel weird about it but i still went to the appointment. I get there and she's just like standoffish like she didn't really want to help me or even bother with me because i didn't want to buy one of their other expensive dresses. It was just overall a horrible experience i didn't like it at all. So just know if you're a bride with a smaller budget this is probably not the best shop. read more
