I ended up finding my dress and veil here and getting it preserved through them. Parking is through the other side of the street, away from where the entrance to Posh is. There was a decent variety of options here considering how small the store is. I noted some preferred designers that they happened to have and helped me focus on those areas when I was picking ones to try on. Jenna was the one who assisted for my actual try ons. I opted to go alone so it was nice that she was giving me good feedback without being pushy. She paid attention to what I liked about certain dresses and ultimately recommended a few other dresses that had them. My dress ended up being one Jenna added for me! It was perfect because I was debating between something super classic vs romantic and she knew immediately that she could find me something in the middle. I got alterations done here as well as my veil. Altogether I was able to stay within my budget, though alterations were definitely a bit pricier which I know is common. Monika their seamstress was also great at giving me recommendations on what would look good without me really overthinking it. After my wedding I came back to get my dress preserved. I knew exactly what I wanted, I just had to find it. After scouring every website imaginable, I found the dress I wanted-with a few minor changes. I tried to call the dress maker and change the things I didn't like, but they wouldn't make a dress with the changes I was requesting. After more internet searching, I found a website for a woman who makes wedding dresses. I called her, and the rest is wonderful history. I met with Rose and showed her the dress I wanted, and explained to her what I wanted changed. Without hesitation, she said she could do it. She went over every detail to make sure she was 100% sure that we were on the same page, and she even made suggestions to make it better; afterwards I was able to choose the exact material and lace that I wanted. Over the next 8 months I went in for multiple fittings, to make sure it would fit perfectly, and finally received my dress a few weeks before my wedding. My wedding dress was incredibly beautiful and fit me like a glove. Rose was able to replicate the exact dress I wanted, and make it spectacular! They had champagne for everyone and it was truly a blast, but slightly overwhelming with so many personality types on my side of things. I recommend this to get the experience, but just want to give a heads up on that. I also had fallen in love with a sample dress that just did not fit my body unfortunately, though Tam & Melody tried their best to see how they might be able to modify it. At the end of the day it was just too much to do to the dress. For my second visit, I tried on a dress that I was initially interested in but didn't have time to try on at my first visit. And... well, this is the one. I tried on a few others as well, and ultimately left thinking about that first one. Melody was so awesome for not pushing me to make a decision, I really hate that feeling. So I was grateful to her for being so patient with me- this is a big decision!! At my final visit, it was just to re-try on MY dress and then one that was super similar to it. And that just locked in my decision! You see, the thought…read moreof going into a typical bridal store and having a 'Say Yes To The Dress' experience really put me off to the whole idea of shopping for one...since I hate shopping for clothes to begin with. If it were solely up to me, I would get married in yoga pants and a ponytail...but we make sacrifices for the person we love. Pros of my visit: Plenty of parking, even in the back. The store has a large selection. The front of the store has formal dress, quinceañera dresses, and even some wedding accessories. The wedding gowns are in the back, sorted by size. Some of them are NWT (new with tags), but most are pre-owned and gently used. There are name brands there. I saw a few Maggie Sotero dresses. No pushy salespeople, friendly and welcoming owner. Cons: The dressing rooms are small and there's no air circulation. Expect to get a workout trying on dresses. You go through the dresses yourself and pull off the rack. I sort of expected a little more since they advertise offering appointments to try on wedding dresses. Walk-ins are accepted too....not sure why you need an appointment for since you're going through the gowns yourself. The prices...woah. I know how consignment works- everyone needs to make a profit (seller and the store), but I've seen brand new dresses for less. Worth a trip if you're just browsing. 3 stars.
