it was a pleasure to be serviced by mark. he took care of my old iPhone (se2), prescribing a solution and disclosing a competitive price before service began. overall service took about 20 min in and out. i actually came while he was occupied with a client offsite (which is at no point a fault at all), and decided to wait until he got back, and he was professional in handling the compensation. mark is very accommodating, offering me a beverage while i waited, and giving me a ride home since i ubered to the store. we had small talk during the drop off and it is clear that he is an earnest man. i made sure to tip him for the experience, and i am completely satisfied with the experience at pcs connection. read more

I can't say enough good things about Mark and PCS Connection. Originally, I had my phone battery replaced there and the service was exceptional from the start. Mark took the time to explain how battery cycles work, what to expect in terms of battery life, and how to properly understand battery health. It was clear he genuinely knew his stuff and cared about making sure I understood the repair--not just getting me in and out the door. Fast forward about four months, and I unexpectedly started experiencing battery degradation. I reached back out to Mark, not really knowing what to expect since I was outside the warranty window. Without hesitation, he offered to replace the battery--no questions asked. That kind of customer service is incredibly hard to find these days. Anyone can provide a service when everything goes right, but standing behind your work and taking care of a customer after the fact is what separates a good business from a great one. Mark earned my trust and my business for the long term. This is exactly how you create lifelong customers. Thank you, Mark, for taking care of me and for providing such outstanding service. I highly recommend PCS Connection! read more

It was a pleasure doing business with Mr. Hung. He is fast, courteous, and thorough. We needed two cellphone batteries swapped out. The whole transaction was outstanding and professional. Hung's prices were a little higher than the others, but well worth it. Thanks for the great service. read more

Long story short, I have an old iPhone that I use as mainly an alarm clock. Apple declined to help me replaced a battery. I took the phone to PCS connection, always look them up for my electronics needs even when they were on convoy. In and out in 20 minutes, new battery and old phone has new repurposed life. Thank you for everything. Totally recommend this shop. Been around for years and have honest price and good work. read more

My iPhone stopped working after water damage while I was on vacation in Hawaii. I had purchased one of those "waterproof" phone pouches from Amazon to capture some underwater footage, but unfortunately water got inside and my phone started having issues the next day. I found Mark through Yelp and decided to give him a try based on his great reviews and the fact that he was local. He was able to diagnose the problem, replace the necessary parts and get my phone working again, saving me the expense and hassle of buying a new one. The repair was completed quickly and so far everything is working well. I'm hopeful it continues to hold up long-term. Thanks again, Mark, for helping save my phone and all the data on it! read more

I accidentally dropped my iPhone into a sink full of water, and at first, it was working off and on. But by the next morning, it completely stopped working and of course, it was a day I really needed it for work to access sites, log in, get codes, and all that. I was panicking! I also had plans to go out of town right after work, so being without my phone wasn't an option. Luckily, I came across Mark at PCS Connection. I reached out, and it turned out he was actually in my neighborhood. Within an hour, he came right to my house, fixed the connectivity issues, screen, and even added a hard face covering. The whole process was fast, easy, and seamless. I honestly couldn't believe my luck. Then, about two weeks later, I had an issue making in app purchases. I reached out to Mark again, and he walked me through exactly how to fix it. Mark's customer service is amazing. I highly recommend him for any phone repair needs, he's reliable, fast, good price point for repairs and genuinely cares about helping people. read more

The Convoy location is no longer as they moved locations. I found this out when I drove there yesterday and the place was devoid of all furniture and employees.... all that remained was this photo announcing that they moved to Miramar Rd Place was fantastic last time I was there years ago; I guess I'll have to drive to Miramar now. read more

Hung was very professional and came to my location to change my iPhone battery. He arrived quickly and fixed my phone fast. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This is my recent experience with them. My child's iPhone 11 needed a battery replaced. Very easy to contact them and text friendly. Constant communication before arriving at their new location off Miramar Road. Mark, the technician, mentioned they work on e-scooter and possibly e-bike battery repairs also. Worth the call to see if they can help with your e-ride problems. I live in Chula Vista and it's worth the drive to have the repairs performed by PCS. All my family's and relatives phones have been serviced or even purchased from PCS. My wife and I have referred many friends and coworkers have their phones repaired by honest experienced friendly technicians. read more

I brought in my Samsung tablet this morning. What I believed to be a major virus issue, it was in fact not. Hung deleted a bad app that was causing the problem. He didn't want to charge me. I insisted that he take a nominal amount for his time. Hung demonstrated a good representative of his company with excellent character. I would highly recommend The PCS Connection for your computer needs. read more

Mark is wonderful - very responsive and conscientious. I shattered the back of my iPhone 14 Pro Max that was no longer eligible for Apple Care. I had no interest in getting a new phone or spending an arm & a leg trying to do this repair through Apple. Mark to the rescue! Reasonably priced and he was very flexible with scheduling the repair. My phone is as good as new. He stands by his work. This is the place to go if you want a high quality repair. Thanks, Mark!! read more

This review is long overdue. Been coming here for a few years for various iPhone/ipad fixes. Everyone is super helpful, friendly and attentive, and the prices are competitive. Recently, I came for an iPhone fix and the business was closed early. Long story short, I called the main line to get an appointment for the following day. The employee who answered was super apologetic and went out of their way to accommodate me, which was totally unnecessary and unexpected. Got me in and out quickly. We will be forever faithful to this business. Happy to support them. read more

The owner is a honest technician. He gives proper estimates before the work and communicates promptly. He fixed our iPad charge port issue in a day. The work was well done read more

Two weeks ago, I accidentally dropped my iphone 16 in the ocean water, and the phone stopped charging afterwards. I called several phone repair shops. Unlike the other repairers whom I spoke with, Mark at the PCS Connection not just gave me an estimate of the repair cost (which was very reasonable); he took the time to talk to me and suggested ways of testing if my phone could be charged using wireless charging and ways of drying the phone thoroughly, which he believed might fix the problem. Following his advice, I was able to dry the phone and the phone's charging function returned. Later, I called Mark again to ask if I should take the phone to his shop to get it cleaned. He again taught me how to do it myself at home. I'm immensely grateful to Mark for his generous help and kindness. I'd recommend Mark to anyone who needs phone repair services. read more

Disclaimer: I didn't actually use their repair services; however, this review is based on their customer service. I initially reached out for a quote to repair my Galaxy Tablet and, after a few conversations, they were honest enough to tell me they couldn't get the part. The next time I contacted them was for a screen repair for my Galaxy Note 8. Since this work was something I knew they did, I was confident I'd get a quote and then the repair. I was then told the repair would cost a significant amount of money and I'd be better off getting a new phone. This response really impressed me. Especially at a time when people are doing whatever they have to do to make/keep money, this business chose honesty over profit. If they handle quotes and prospective clients with integrity, I expect their repair work and current clients are treated the same way. read more

Highly recommend for iPhone repairs. Quick, easy and affordable. I was able to get in and have my iPhone screen fully replaced in less than an hour. Will definitely be my go to place for iPhone related repairs. read more

My go to place for phone and Mac repairs. They're honest, fast, courteous and reliable service.

I had used this company a couple times for cleaning out my phone speaker so I could hear better. Recently, my screen quit functioning in the upper quarter, and I had no way of knowing if that could be repaired. Took it in to these guys and they were able to give me a new screen with it in 20 minutes. I'm not sure how I would've solved that at an Apple Store. If you have any phone needs, definitely go to these guys first. They will shoot straight with you and May well fix the problem for substantially less than some of the other repair places. This is the only company I will go to now. read more

I've had a problem charging my iPhone for a few months. I tried cleaning the connector myself, but I finally decided I would have to get it repaired, assuming it was a bad connector. The gentleman at the counter cleaned the charge port and cleaned my speaker too. My phone works great now! He was able to give me a fast quote on another repair I was interested but he advised against it due to the cost and advised me that it was only a cosmetic issue. He refused to take money for the repair and sent me on my way happy and with a working phone. Excellent service. I will definitely go here first for future phone repairs. read more

Mark totally hooked me up, twice! When I broke my camera glass, he got it fixed within an hour after only a day to order the part. Them when the focus of the camera was compromised, he helped again, researching replacements, reopening the phone to clean the lens and ultimately we fixed it by tapping. I'm so grateful for PCS! read more

Incredibly helpful and collaborative. Hung kindly helped me to try to troubleshoot over the phone, even FaceTiming. It's clear he wanted to help even if it meant I didn't need his services. Once we determined there was in fact a problem, he was equally helpful and communicative on options. read more

Hung and his business, The PCS Connection, are top notch! I'm glad they made it through the pandemic. I used them maybe 6-7 years ago when I dropped my iPhone 6 (I loved you so much you sweet sweet aluminum framed and rock solid friend). I got my glass replaced twice here on that thing and the speaker replaced. Then I dropped it in the drink in Thailand and that was that. Fast forward to many years later and I've had my iPhone Xs for maybe four years now. No drops. Always used a glass screen protector, until I foolishly broke the screen protector not too long ago while playing with it (they tend to shatter if you lift them to adjust them after you apply them). So no screen protector because I was too lazy to buy one again yet. I head out for a 6am tee time of disc golf at Morley Field, toss my phone in my bag and walk out the door. THUD. wham, right onto the floor face down. May as well have been a piece of buttered toast the way it landed (always butter side down). Certainly no cat like reflexes and landing upright. Shattered to oblivion. I call up PCS to make sure they have a screen, take it 30 minutes after opening and they say they ca have it done within 30 or so. That's fast. Picked up my phone. Works flawlessly and I think the new OLED is even brighter than my OEM one last was. Back in action. Thanks Hung and team! read more

I had a set of Bose headphones that had been stored for 10 years. When I opened them I found the battery had exploded inside the headset and would not move. I took them to PCS with not a lot of faith they were repairable. They called later on the same day and said they had successfully removed the battery, cleaned up the corrosion and they were working perfectly. Same day service on a very difficult repair! Highly recommend. read more

This business is amazing. Fixed the speaker on my iphone that hadn't been working for over 6 months! Saved me $300.00 because that is what Apple wanted to do this repair. Highly recommend this business. read more

I shattered my smartphone screen, looked for youtube instructions on replacing it, and decided it would end in tears and despair if I did it myself. PCS Connection did a great job for a reasonable price and a quick turnaround--a few days for them to get the ordered screen and less than 2 hours to do the replacement. Very responsive and friendly throughout. read more

Mmm he did not fix my phone. Well he did, but that night two other things broke, but Hung was really nice about everything though. I'm giving him four stars because I genuinely believe he'd work with me to get my phone working again for an appropriate price. I just didn't have the time to go back and forth with him to fix everything. Ended up going to the Apple store and getting my phone replaced there. Long story long - I went in for a broken charger port / faulty auxiliary port. Turns out one of the tines in the port fell out, so Hung had to replace the whole port (which he scavenged from another Apple phone). Unfortunately, in the process of replacing my port, something else broke (not sure if he broke it or was broken to begin with in addition to the port). Regardless, he said he'd replace it free of charge because he probably thought he broke it. An hour later, my phone was fixed and I went home happy with the spectacular service. A few hours later, I got a call, but my phone didn't ring. Upon further investigation, I realized my phone ringer (for calls and alarms) and my button's haptic touch were broken. I decided at that point to make an appointment with Apple instead. + Great service + Replacement parts are from other Apple products + 30 day warranty or something like that Bill ended up being 90ish dollars with tax. read more

I have gotten my iPad screen fixed here after I cracked it. It was quick turn around (fixed in less than a day). I also got my laptop fixed here.
