Had to go to the Att store to turn in a phone for the iPhone 17 trade in deal. We called Att to verify we can still turn in the phone and they advised us to drop it off at an Att store. I went to the San Marcos Att store the guy was all alone and had no one to help him so I went to the vista store. The vista store was a little busy but one guy was free. After checking the account we dropped the phone off and got a receipt'. No issues. All good. read more

The Vista Store as you read in my long dissertation, sorry about that. I wanna put in a positive plug for a store that was able to help me. After I spent over three hours on the phone with AT&T customer service to find out if anybody could understand or believe in what I was saying. I'm sorry that I didn't get the supervisor's name. Maybe he'll read this. Maybe I can get his name and thank him through CS. We were on the phone together for one hour and a half and he listened to me. He found that I was right. I didn't know how it occurred but I knew what was happening. I paid a bill it didn't get credited. I will try and make this shorter and a shout out for the Escondido AT&T store on E. Valley Parkway, the gal there was terrific and the guys in there were friendly. They said hello asking how are you? I felt comfortable. I signed up for AT&T leaving horrible Verizon, the genius at ATT had three different accounts. Yes this is true. Three different accounts. He separated, my phone, my watch, and left an account open. I already had with AT&T years ago that I told him about. The payment didn't get credited to the open account. But an old one left enclosed. I'm telling you this because you need to understand when you go into any of these mega cell phone companies. There is no escape! Create a good sense of your ability to understand your own problem and find somebody who will believe you. So just to break it down. I stuck to my guns so to speak and insisted strongly on a supervisor. He was smart. He found out all of this stuff. He eliminated all these charges that were created on this old account that wasn't the account I was using. Every time I think about this incident, I'm confused in a sense I can't believe it happened. But before you call on any of these mega places, just make a list of what your issues are. That's what I did. I maintained polite and helpful to work out the problem, but Customer Service had no clue. Now that old account old was deleted at the Escondido AT&T store. She got me on the new account and the new account as it should've been bundled the watch with the phone. Now I have a normal bill with lots of credits. I will find out who that supervisor is and find a way to leave a message thank you because it was a long process. read more

This review is for AT&T Customer Service online for my mobile phone. After receiving several emails announcing I could get a lower monthly plan, I finally took the time to call AT&T this morning. The person helping me was kind, though very slow in accessing plans and making changes. After she was done I was informed I now had a plan that would save over $14 per month. However, once we hung up I received an email saying that my new plan would be $102 per month. That's $26 higher than expected and higher than I was told. So I phoned back and the person this time told me that the summary is not correct, but that it always shows that way. They will not give me anything in writing that confirms a new, lower monthly plan. Instead I am expected to trust that the bill will somehow magically be lower. All in all over an hour of my time for a result that I will not know about until I receive my next bill. They said they cannot provide anything different. Really? AT&T cannot program its computers to reflect actual charges in a summary? I doubt it. read more

He went out this way to to make sure I got all the information I needed to make the report. Even the store manager was super he kept in contact with me answering any question I have. But I have shout out and thank you to Cristi an assistant manager at this store ! What an ordeal. We have had their service since the beginning of mobile phones a long time. My husband had an iPhone 6 and it was not doing well. He went to their website and ordered a phone and had it sent to our house. It was crazy expensive! I was shocked . He's a very smart person and after a whole afternoon with their technical department could not activate the new phone. I suggested just go by the local store and they will do it for you. I came home and I've never seen him so frustrated and mad the store could not activate it! He said send it back! I said I'll run down to the store and have them return it! he said it's time to change carriers ! I Arrived at the same store with all paper work mailed to us! They wanted to charge me restocking fee no way it's not our fault they couldn't activate the phone ! He has spent so much time instead of working on his work talking to technicians Finally cristi was called! She was fabulous! But why is there no connection between website and store. He paid way too much for the phone (basically got ripped off) I was told people do not buy phones right out! That I find hard to believe . Even if people don't buy phones that way it is an option Cristi worked magic activated his phone there is no way we should have had to go through all this frustration not to mention time and money ! I've been with AT&T for over 13 years as my mobile service provider and I've been an iPhone user for about 6 years now. This review is in regards to the AT&T store that is located in Vista and my experiences there. I first came to this location out of convenience, when the (then new) iPhone 6 was released. You can easily see the store from the main road and the parking lot allowed for many customers. The inside of the store is organized well and comparably bigger than other stores I've been to. In 2018 I returned to this store location for assistance with my iPhone. I liked that I was positively greeted at the door with a friendly smile by a customer representative. I explained my objective and inquiries and was directed to wait for a specialist. I didn't wait too long and I was assisted by David. David went above and beyond typical customer care because I had the sense that he genuinely wanted to resolve my issue and cared about my situation. He was also very knowledgeable and seemed to have most of the answers to my questions at the tip of his tongue and when he didn't, he would honestly admit that he didn't know and that he would research the answer immediately. This level of honest customer care is invaluable to me. It lets me know I can trust my customer rep and the service he or she provides. In the end, although my issue couldn't be resolved in the store, I was directed to go to the Apple Store where they could fix my issue. Overall, great customer service is what has me returning here and I will continue in the future. read more

This store has the greatest employees, especially Alfredo, Paul and Ben. I had problems with my wireless land line and these three gentlemen were patient, kind and helpful. As an older consumer, you are not always treated with much patient, but these employees went above and beyond what was expected of them and helped me solve the problems. The worse AT&T store I ever been to. At first they made us wait over an hour and apparently they advised that's the normal wait there for anything. AT&T is loosing customers because they went from having good customer service to the worse. Their customer service on the phone has one information and their stores has other information. I've had AT&T for over 10 years and I am strongly thinking of switching and I would recommend others to also go with another company. If I could give 0 starts I would. To update everyone on this review, I did end up switching to Verizon. Enough was enough for me. And my service is better, my customer service is incredible. If I could give zero stars this is what AT&T deserves. RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM AT&T. They don't deserve your business, in fact, they don't deserve to be in business! What started as a seemingly simple process to take my father off the account after he died, and put my mother's name on has led to almost 2 months of a nightmare. We have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service, and in person at the store to try to get this issue resolved. In the meantime the phone service was down for 10+ days, the internet didn't work and the TV. One person would say they would fix one thing, then something else would be disconnected. We thought everything was resolved as it's been working for about the two weeks, then today out of nowhere all service was disconnected! After 2+ hours on the phone and in person - we find out that the manager didn't approve the credit that he entered - and they disconnected my 88 year old mother's service saying she hadn't paid the bill (for what was credited). RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM AT&T. They don't deserve your business, in fact, they don't deserve to be in business! read more

I had an issue with a refund and service. The people I contacted through the AT&T helpline could only do so much. The help I received from Roberto and Andrew made the refund process easier. They both were patient with me and made sure I got the help I needed. My family member came into this location before me and received great service and help from Andrew. AT&T are con artists. First, I switched to sprint and am paying almost half of what I pay at AT&T while getting many more features. But more importantly, AT&T offers 'free' items with upgrades, then charges you 100's for them over the span of your bill - and won't let you cancel. Please do not do business. These people are con men and lie through their teeth about upgrades! I cannot believe I was charged hundreds for a 'free' tablet with an upgrade. Never again will I use this company for anything. For your own financial safety, please do not get scammed by these soulless monsters. I don't know how employees here sleep at night knowing what they do to people. read more

Upgraded one of our lines to a new phone. My daughter went to this location to turn in the device, and Ben was the associate who accepted the device. She noticed that he had put down an incorrect phone on the receipt, and was confused about the trade in that he had inputted. Due to a previous experience with ATT having lost one of our trade ins and never crediting the account, I wanted to make sure all of our paperwork reflected that the CORRECT phone was received by ATT and we were being credited what they advertised. She walked back into the store, Ben went and found the phone, and then gave her a different receipt for even lesser value of the phone. I then spoke with him, and he told me that he used a different website other than the consumer ATT website to assess the phone. I told him what ATT website says about trade ins, and provided screen shots, which differed with what he was saying. He then very rudely told my daughter " If she wants to combat me on this, she can just have the phone back." And walked away and helped someone else. Alexis, the manager, tried to help, but his responses were not knowledgeable or helpful. He said "I don't know why it's different, and I should know why." Despite me explaining to him our previous experience with ATT "losing" a phone and not crediting the account for it, he said we should just "trust the process." We questioned why we should just trust them, when they have previously lost the phone and this visit Ben didn't even put the correct phone is as being received. In fact, they took our paperwork, and shredded it, when I asked to have it in case ATT "loses" the phone again. And printed out something different than was originally given. I immediately called ATT, who was far more helpful and escalated it to the right department to honor what the website says. Both employees in this case could have made the same phone call, to remedy the situation. Ben definitely needs training in his customer service skills and how to accurately/honestly handle phone trade ins, and gain knowledge of the terms and deals ATT offers. As an ATT customer for over 15 years, I do not recommend coming to this location if you want your account to be properly handled. read more

Just left here and they were no help. We were trying to get new internet for our apartment we are moving Into on Wednesday and they flat out told us they couldn't help us and to call a 1-800 number. Did not look up our account or anything. We waited 20 mins as there was 1 person working then their friend came in. We got the brush off and as soon as we left he started talking with his friend. We got the straight feeling that the guy did not want to work or help us at all. We will most likely be canceling out att service after the experience here and going with someone else.
