Got my screen fixed here about a month for 600$... today the screen just stopped working randomly I didn't drop the phone it's had a case on it , didn't get water damage there's no physical damage and they told me I had a 90 day warranty after I got it fixed so I brought it back in they did an internal test on the phone which they said proved that it was subject to fall damage and it wouldn't be covered under the warranty they gave. I went here because of all the great reviews. I was very disappointed, but now see why the reviews are all great. They filter them sending you a text asking how they did. If it was great, they redirect you here. If it was not, they redirect you to a personal page where more than likely you will be ignored. So here was my experience: First they said they will not be able to look at my PlayStation for about 4 days. Sure! No problem. It's going to sit there anyway, right? Over 2 weeks go by and finally I am the one that has to call them for an update. First call, no answer. Second call, no answer. I'm starting to get worried. Finally, third call the next day someone answers. They said "oh we are busy the end of the week it should be ready". Aka they forgot about my order or it was not priority to others. Okay, no problem. No use getting upset, it is what it is and now I have some sort of timeline, so I'm satisfied. So the end of week they call and say it's ready . Yaay! I Call on a Saturday, she said they are open from 10-7 and it was $100. 100 seems steep, but okay I'm no expert so I trust their opinion. I tell her I'll come by and pick it up today since we have been waiting so long. I drive all the way over there which is a very long trek for me and arrive at 630. It was closed!! I called the store to see if there was an error as I'm outside and nope, they closed for whatever reason. They should have told me on the phone that day when I said I would be there before I drove all the way down there. But no warning or heads up at all. I had the terrible but inevitable destruction of my beloved Samsung S20+ phone recently. It was right before a trip, but I was able to get an exact replacement phone (refurbished) with my phone insurance from Verizon in time. Updates took a few days to complete. After everything was completed, the phone was a stranger to me. MOST (hundreds) of my photos were missing, info on most apps were missing, and the way my phone was originally set up disappeared. Because of my old phone's cracked screen, I could no longer open it, but it was still operable. I was so concerned and upset about everything that was missing. The Verizon insurance, Asurion, recommended that I have the remaining info left on the phone transferred by a local Asurion repair shop. They told me to go to this place. I told my sob story to the shop's manager, Joseph, today. He understood completely what had happened and was certain he could get everything back on the new phone. It took a couple of hours, but I couldn't believe my new phone now looks exactly like it used to. All my photos with their numerous categories are back, as well as app info and icons that had disappeared with the initial transfer done by the Verizon store and subsequent updates. Joseph is the nicest, patient tech you could ever want and cared about my concerns. He even erased everything on the old phone so I could send it back to Asurion. He explained to me that their techs are highly trained and vetted, and that it's hard to find techs who meet their standards. I recommend this store highly and have confidence in their ability to do everything they can to fix any problems. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I brought in a functionin iPad for battery replacement as I was having to recharge the battery at least twice a day and was told they were fast and did a good job. I told the person at the counter I needed to have it back within 20 days to take it with me on an upcoming trip. I was told it would be a 'couple of days' to get the needed battery and two more days for the repair. The battery did not come in as promised and I had to try to call repeatedly to find out what was going on. Only reached them by phone one time after repeated attempts, no way to leave a message, so I had to drive to the store several times over the next two weeks only to be told the battery was on the way. When the battery finally came in, I found out the technician neglected to mention that the screen would also have to be replaced along with the battery but they did not get a replacement screen. This was two days before leaving on the trip and the iPad would not have been ready in time. According to the store manager the technician stated the battery was fine. It was not since I had to use a charger so frequently. In the end, I was handed a nonworking piece of tech. So I lost any trade in value I would have gotten as the iPad has to be working when I had to go purchase a new iPad. All they did was refund my $25 deposit after a completely unprofessional experience. Do not take anything to this store and I envy those who have had a good experience here. read more
