I went in today and my phone was a mess. Verizon Store told me I needed a new phone cause it was not charging properly. I took it to Sheldon- he was able to fix the phone and did it in timely manner at a great price. Plus he gave a one year warranty on his work. Thanks Sheldon read more

iPhone repair shops are like dating after a tough break up = everything sounds good over the phone or online, you're excited and eager to connect, but once you meet face to face, you quickly realize you've been duped. Such is the case here - over the phone I was told to come by and show them my busted up iPad and was assured that whatever the issue was, they could fix it. Fast forward an hour later, (it literally took me 15 minutes of driving and walking back and forth on the street to find this place as it's basically a rented room at the top of a staircase of a commercial building), I was informed that my iPad is dead and that it should be used as a coaster or paperweight. Look, I understand a car mechanic cannot accurately diagnose a vehicle electronically or telephonically as accurately as they can if they can see the car in person and of course when it comes to an iPad with a cracked screen and water damage that won't power on, it would be ideal for a repair person to physically inspect it before diagnosing the issue so please don't tell me over the phone that you can fix something and then smugly state that it's beyond repair. Also, I appreciate that you want to keep your overhead low but FFS don't do business out of what is basically a bedroom with shit everywhere and a dog sitting around begging to be anywhere but there. This place is super inconvenient to get to with a super unprofessional "store" and super creepy vibes. All said, I disagreed with Sheldon's diagnosis so decided to call A to Z Wireless (which coincidentally enough is right down the street in an easy to see and enter store) and while no promises were made over the phone or in person, the owner fixed my iPad and is now working just as it did before I dropped it in a jacuzzi. So yeah...don't recommend this dude at all but highly recommend A to Z. Enjoy. read more

He never replied to my final question which was.... Let me know when you get the black one in. He said he was in the middle of moving so he probably forgot about me. His loss. read more

Just met with Sheldon at his place of business and he was very polite and kind. I asked him if he could replace my key-fob battery i had brought even though i brought the wrong one. Easy to talk to. read more

Sheldon is amazing! He was able to take us as a walk in and despite in between moving office spaces he was still able to provide his services. My boyfriend's iphone had a huge black spot on the screen and the camera was not able to take clear photos or videos. Everything always came out with a haze to it. But after about approx an hour (actually probably less than that) Sheldon texted us to let us know it was all ready for pick up. Not only did he fix the screen and the camera he also identified a problem with the battery. We suspected something was wrong with it a while ago and forgot to even mention it but he found it anyway and let us know about it. He called us before doing the other repairs and confirmed we wanted that fixed as well. He is reasonably priced and works fast. He definitely exceeded our expectations. If you need a repair definitely let him work on your devices. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the area so while you wait you won't have trouble finding something to do. Bonus- he has the cutest little chihuahua named Peanut and she's ready to greet you when you walk in! read more

Great communication to get an estimate. Fixed the cracked screen on my iPad in 1 1/2 hours. Reasonable pricing. Def recommend

I HIGHLY recommend Sheldon! He was so easy to work with, had competitive pricing, and got it done quickly. I had a crack on my iPhone 15 lens, which he repaired quickly. I then had a separate issue with my lens and he went above and beyond to address that also. Really great service and ask about his awesome backstory! Would go to him again for any IT fix! read more

I shattered the back of my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I got multiple quotes, Sheldon's quote was reasonably priced and the only person or business that had five stars. Took it in on a Sunday at 10 AM and got my phone back about 2 1/2 hours later!! Looks brand new! I'm so stoked that I found this hidden gem and Sheldon's expertise! Thank you! read more

I called Sheldon about getting my iPad screen replaced because it had cracks and I could feel them on the surface. He told me that the for the price of the replacement, I could probably get a whole new refurbished iPad. He also said that if the screen worked, I could just put a screen saver on top so that I wouldn't feel the cracks. He texted me an estimate for the screen replacement. I investigated and found that he was correct about the refurbished iPads. ! I ended up putting on a screen saver and my iPad works great! He saved me a lot of money by not having to replace the screen! This is an example of a company that doesn't want your money, they just want your business! Instead of going for the sale, he told me what my best options were! read more

It's clear they genuinely care about their customers. I'll definitely be coming back here for any future iPhone needs! read more

Sheldon responded to my inquiry regarding fixing a phone very quickly. He is competitively priced and was a pleasure to work with. He allowed us to wait while the phone was being worked on and we got to spend some time with his adorable little dog. He was also very welcoming and interacted with my younger son who was very curious and had a lot of questions regarding fixing the phone. We will definitely use him again if we need any more devices repaired. *iphone 13 mini - battery stopped working read more

Went in to get both back and front glasses fixed and I he mentioned only using oled screens and not "the cheap stuff". After he finished I noticed the screen didn't get bright at all and had a noticeable purple hue. When I question him about it he says it's varied by screen and that they are all different. A few days later the screen turns black and is not responsive, I go back to him and he says that I damaged it because he can see a chip in the glass... okay. He fixes the screen for a "discounted price" and I noticed the new screen he put on this time is 10 times better, no hue and got bright. I'm lead to believe he tried to get away with the cheap screen initially because I'm a young kid going in to get his phone fixed. The back glass doesn't allow for my phone cases to fix but I don't care at this point. Although I probably paid way too much, I would still recommend this guy. The second screen he put on looks great. Almost like the original read more

My mom-in-law and I had been going to i****d down Coast Highway for our phone repair needs; however, after they kept her phone hostage almost 2 weeks while waiting for parts (that they never ordered), and lying to me about what my phone needed (new battery they said, but the port was just dirty), I held off on getting my phone maintained until I came across this spot. (I am trying to be nice and not drop a 1-star review for that other place by writing of my experiences here). This business is super hard to find! If you're looking at Cosmo's Burger, it's the door to the right and upstairs. Sheldon is great! His office is casual and like hanging in your buddy's living room or garage workspace, and his vibe is just so chill. I probably stayed longer than I needed because he brings his pup Peanut with him. He repaired my phone and checked the battery for me, and gave me suggestions on screen protectors (the 30$ one I bought from i****d cracked in 2 days). I believe his pricing is very fair; I'm all for supporting small businesses regardless. Overall, I am VERY happy and plan on telling all my friends and family about this business! Pros: - super friendly - honest - Peanut!! Cons: - obscure location read more

I got the dreaded Blue Screen on my laptop and could not stop it from shutting down intermittently. I'm fairly tech savvy but this finally got so bad that I couldn't keep it up and running for more than a few mins. I opened a Project in Yelp! and Sheldon responded very quickly and started to help me immediately. He tried to do a couple of fixes with me over the phone right away but when those showed that the problem was bigger than those remedies, I brought my laptop into his office in Oceanside. He had it all up and running like new in a couple of hours, if not less, and charged me a really reasonable price and guaranteed his work! Any time I have any tech issues again I'm going straight to Sheldon and you should, too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

My iPhone 12 Pro Max had the unfortunate fate of being thrown to the ground with both the screen and back glass shattered. Still wasn't ready for a new phone and couldn't be without a phone for a long period of time due to my job. Reaching out for quotes, Sheldon was the quickest to respond and had by far the best price as well. He even said he could get it all done same day under a few hours. Was able to drop off my phone during a small break, and come back with it looking like a brand new phone. I had also opted to get a new battery per his suggestion based on the health, and I agreed as it would be the best time to get that done while the phone was opened up at a great price as well. Thanks so much for the quick save, Sheldon! I definitely recommend him to anyone in the area needing a fix! read more

Thank you. Very nice experiance, quick and he even came back to do the repair after he had already left for the day!

I wish I cud give Sheldon's work & expertise a 10+. I woke up a week ago to a "puddle" of rainwater on top of my open computer. It was a nightmare sight!!! Thank goodness I didn't turn the computer on. I'm new to Oceanside & drove to several Oceanside hotels asking where I should I take my precious computer for repair? Two of them said there was a great service on North Coast Highway, but unsure of address. I walked to N. Coast Hwy & spotted Sheldon literally placing his "sign" on the sidewalk. I rushed to car, retrieved my soaked computer & raced up the stairs anticipating to hear "Lady, you need a new computer". Well, not to be...I was greeted by Sheldon & his tiny puppy Peanut. Sheldon has that sweet demeanor of "calm" which I needed at that moment. He did a quick look, determined that the water damage was easily fixed; ordered a logic board, replaced the battery, & "something else" for charging. He needed my computer for about a week (arrival of parts, his labor, & a backup disk of my 10+ years of "stuff". I picked it up yesterday & it's like a new computer, ...but all for less than $200. Do not hesitate to contact Sheldon (& meet his "Peanut") for your computer services. You will leave w/a huge smile on your face. read more
