Cracked my IPhone 7 Plus screen at 10:30 am and couldn't see jack diddly. Went on yelp to search for someone to fix it and he replied within 10 minutes of my request. I had my cracked screen replaced by Leo this summer, the new screen quickly began having sensitivity issues, you would tap it and it would not respond, hit a button and something else would get triggered etc (iPhone XS).. needless to say Leo repaired it a 2nd time and of course I tipped afterwards since he came all the way to my place again! Unfortunately shortly after that second screen was installed it developed a green line horizontally on the screen, then within about 12 hours about 20 other lines that effectively render the screen useless (could not tap anything, could barely even unlock the screen). I had to use an old phone for a while as I tried reach out to Leo, reached out about 3-4 times but never got a response back on a 3rd repair (phone is always in a solid case and was never dropped with his screens). Needless to say I ended up going to apple and paying the $270 and getting a new OEM screen, in the end with tipping I only paid about $80 dollars less for Leo's screens that never really worked than what I would have paid had I gone to Apple in the first place (now I ended up paying nearly what a new phone would have cost... face-plalm). live and learn I guess, Leo when he responds is a super nice guy though, but the screens from my experience are really not comparable to apple in any way, if you're looking for a bridge for a few months before you're eligible for an upgrade or something this may work for you, but otherwise just go to Apple and save yourself some shuffling around pain. read more

Leo was great! I have a Square Trade insurance policy for my Samsung Galaxy S8+ and he was the only preferred repair vendor in the area that actually could repair non-iPhones! (Don't let the name of the business fool you - he repairs Android products, too!). My Samsung Galaxy S8+ had a badly cracked screen which he repaired perfectly. He was responsive, professional, and very skilled. He does not have a physical store but instead comes to your location. My girlfriend was hesitant to have a stranger come to our apartment so he instead met me at a nearby coffee shop and replaced my screen on the spot! It took about half an hour and I am very happy with the result. And, my insurance claim was just approved by Square Trade, so I am getting reimbursed (minus the deductible)! I had an awesome experience with Leo. We are all busy and have difficulty going to the store and waiting for a few hours - WITHOUT A PHONE! So Leo not only fixed my phone, but came to my office to fix it! Amazing! He comes to your location, which is really convenient, especially for those of us with a busy schedule. He met me in Harvard Square where I was studying at the campus center and fixed my screen in less than 15 minutes. He checked thoroughly to make sure it was working and showed me how I could check touch sensitivity, display colors, etc. if I ever had any problems. Most importantly, he uses high-quality screens that are pretty much the same as the original (some places use cheaper screens that are defective, so make sure you check that). Very poor quality fix. Had my home button replaced and it stopped working after 3 days. He also didn't bother to make sure my screen was all the way in after he was done. While he was very quick to respond and complete the repair, the new screen did not work properly (sensitivity issues, no 3D touch response, etc). I attempted to contact Leo for another fix or refund, but was ignored. I ended up just going to Apple to get my phone fixed properly (which I should have done in the first place). I do not recommend paying through Venmo. Now I'm out $200 and there's no way to open a dispute and get a refund. read more

My phone had a cracked screen and an issue with the charging port, which he was able to diagnose almost immediately. He was able to address both at prices well below those of the competition. He came to me while I was at work and was able to get everything done in a little less than an hour. He is well-versed in everything iOS- and even Mac OSX-related. My charging port issue was unfortunately unsolvable - though there was nothing Leo could have done. Instead, he gave me extensive advice on how to manage my battery usage and provided me with a well-educated opinion on which phones to look at as a replacement option. After I sent out multiple requests for quotes- I found Leo to be very competitive compared to anyone else who wanted to help. Mac & PC guys told me they couldn't transfer my data from one iPhone to the other (my phone was DEAD and couldn't even hold a charge. Screen was shattered as well). Boston iPhone Repair was semi-reasonable at $75 while Boston Mobile IPhone Repairs wanted to charge me a whopping $299 to help me out!! Guess how much Leo charged?? Wayyyyyy less than anyone else. He's amazing! He works out of his home business and does much more than iPhone repair. He can help with almost any electronic and even makes house calls for TV issues (for a nominal travel fee, I believe). He's honest, VERY knowledgeable and competitively priced.
