Computer stuff is like me explaining my car. I don't know. So my computer said it needed a Bit Locker ID. I don't know the ID, never heard of it. Pretty serious considering we do all of our business off this damn computer. Long story short- he understood what I was talking about. Excellent! Recommend! My home network was in shambles. The Internet speed to the house was at over 500Mbps but my Wi-Fi was getting maybe 100Mbps. We have worked with Spectrum for @3 months to get our sketchy internet workable. They reset our internet several times over the phone, but it only worked for a few days and eventually not at all. Then they sent out 2 technicians to our house on two separate occasions, without success. They told us to call Geek Squad. I checked Geek Squad, which is expensive and has very low star reviews. I asked Grok for Internet technicians in our area. I was given an impressive list of independent companies that included names, phone numbers, costs and reviews. Daniel's name was at the top of the list with 200+ 5 star reviews. I reviewed the entire list and decided to call Daniel. His prices were in the middle of the pack. I'm so glad we hired him! He was thoughtful and thorough. He recommended a new router and WiFi extenders. He installed them and made sure all of our devices worked and that our household apps were also working. I installed AT&T gigabit internet service (1000 bps) when we move to a new house, but WiFi speeds were only 130-155 bps. I called AT&T to complain, and they sent a new modem. WiFi speeds remained exactly the same. The house had an Amazon Eero WiFi mesh system, so I connected a computer directly to the modem via Ethernet cable and speeds jumped to 900+ bps, thus it was an Eero mesh problem. I looked for network help on Yelp.com and found Intelligent Solutions. Dan came to our house and spent about 30 minutes evaluating the situation. He said Eero needed to go and ask me to order this: Amazon.com: TP-Link X55 AX3000 WiFi 6 Mesh System - Covers up to 6500 Sq.Ft. , Replaces Wireless Router and Extender, 3 Gigabit ports per unit, supports Ethernet Backhaul (3-pack) Once the order came Dan removed the Amazon Eero WiFi mesh devices, and installed the new equipment. Each of 3 TP-Link Deco X55 units connected via Ethernet cable to an Ethernet switch inside the cable junction box, and the switch in turn to the new modem via Ethernet cable. Each X55 units has 3 Ethernet ports, one going to the switch, and two for hard wire device connections. I connected a desktop computer and a smart TV to the X55 in the office. Devices connected via hard wire Ethernet cable get 920-980 bps speeds. Of course WiFi is never as fast as wired connections, but now WiFi speeds are way faster. At locations furthest from the X55 units (four corners of the house), about 30', 35', 45' and 65' respectively from the nearest X55, WiFi speeds are between 330 and 370 bps on an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and 600+ bps on a desktop within 10" of an X55. read more

Had 2 new computers that came in and needed to get the old computers transferred to the new ones. 1 PC (with a dual monitor) and 1 mac Mini that needed setting up from an iMac. Just fantastic all around. Let's put it this way: I am in Del Mar and Dan is up near Oceanside. I didn't know this when I first reached out and started working with him but the distance defiantly created an extra few days in terms of trying to find the right times to hook up, find the time when the other person was driving up or down, etc. I mention all this to say: I would easily make Dan my very first call even WITH the distance. That's how satisfied I am. He was kind and easy to work with and very patient. Not just with me but when we were working together he got a call from someone I could hear on the other end was an older lady who didn't seem to know much about computers. While I woulda lost my mind, Dan was clam, focused, and very thorough in giving her his time and wisdom and she hung up with a solve to her issue. My computer took a week or so to trouble shoot (long story) but Dan was VERY focused on the details and the big picture really didn't want to call it done until he had had the PC jump thru a bunch of hoops to figure out JUST what the core issue was (it could have been one of three things but the problems were very intermittent so diagnosis took time). But he got it solved and made sure to even tidy up the insides of my computer (the original builders did a sloppy job) and then sent it back. It's working great. My desktop started acting up on a Saturday afternoon. Checked Yelp and Dan contacted me immediately. He made a preliminary diagnosis over the phone and provided a quote to replace the hard drive, suggesting solid state over traditional. I dropped the computer off and he quickly confirmed my HDD was failing. He replaced the drive, transferred data and set-up email so all I had to do was plug it in. I also asked to Dan replace the factory DVD drive that I don't think ever worked. The total cost for parts & labor was reasonable and it was worth it just for the speed upgrade with the new drive!
