Thought there could be something wrong with the Battery and the Rep, was kind enough to show it was probably the Charging Block and recommended using an Older Block. A cracked phone screen... again, sigh. The replacement part for my phone is pricey (the Samsung S23 Ultra) but the staff at Aplus got the part quickly at the going rate and scheduled my repair so that I only had to be without my phone for less than 2 hours. When my Epson printer stopped and wouldn't print a single or double-sided copy, the error message said there was paper stuck in the printer. I had cleared out the pages I found, but the error message continued to state that I had more paper to remove. I lifted and removed the parts of the printer that I could see or access, but I still had an error message about paper being stuck. I thought it might be somewhere in the feeder mechanism where I couldn't see it without taking the printer apart. I called Aplus Electronics, where I'd never been before, and it was only a few miles from my home in Encinitas. On the phone, the owner said to bring it in. I did that in the morning, and he said he would take a look and let me know in the afternoon what he found. I got a call back in the early afternoon. He said he found that some of the tabs were bent that keep the paper flowing straight as it moves through the printer. He was able to straighten out the tabs and tested it for printing on one side as well as both sides where it has to be flipped to print on both sides. When I looked at the paperwork for when I dropped off the printer and when I picked it up, I found I had brought it in about 10:30 am and picked it up about 1:10 pm. I was very impressed. I was sure I'd have to leave it there at least overnight, if not longer, but I didn't, and my cost was just $50 for his labor. read more

Happy camper. Brought in my Apple MacBook Pro for keyboard & battery replacements. This Apple Certified repair shop charged me about 1/3 of what Apple wanted to charge. APlus was transparent on everything before the repairs. Jesus, Sandy and the owner were great to work with. And they gave me brand new Apple-brand parts, sweet. After my repairs were done and paid for, Sandy came over with a bottle of special cleaner and cleaned my MacBook outside plus inside area surrounding the keyboard and trackpad (was embarrassed she could see what I had for lunch in recent months haha!) plus she cleaned the hinge area with air, to force out the crumbs. (now she knows what I've had for deserts too!) The cleaning was a nice gesture. (not part of my repairs service) Hopefully I won't be needing repairs on my other Apple products but if I do then I'll def be back here. Chill, baby chill! This place is how every small independent business needs to operate with respect, professionalism, and of course great service. I have been here many times; my most recent visit due to my iPhone 5-screen cracked/ broke and had to have a minor face-lift done to it. I came without an appointment on Monday morning when they first opened at 10:00am. Jerry said it would take about 30 minutes for "the operation" to be completed. Fine, I said and went and ate breakfast at a local restaurant and I returned after 35 minutes. When, I got there they had my "baby opened up" so that I could see she had developed a near heart attack: "Swollen Battery" Of course, I said go ahead a give her new heart. I waited in the patient room for 5 minutes and the surgery was completed with a total cost of $99 for the face-lift and $25 for the new heart. I got my girl a "new crib" (domicile/home) to rest her while we travel so the sun won't bother her skin as much and we can reduce the emergency surgeries in the future.
