From the moment we walked in, Eddie greeted us with professionalism and genuine care. He quickly got us onto the Genius Bar waitlist and took the time to listen to our situation without judgment. What truly stood out was his ability to calmly explain how malware works and what risks we might be facing--it immediately put us at ease. Eddie carefully walked us through the process, checked the laptop thoroughly, and shared the appropriate tools to ensure there was no infection. The relief we felt after learning everything was safe is hard to put into words. His kindness, patience, and expertise turned what could have been a very upsetting experience into one where we felt supported and reassured. Hours-long waits instead of just dropping off your product. Apple makes top tier products but their CS and this whole process is an abysmal failure. Jobs rolling in his grave. Very inattentive staff. Sluggish 'check in' process. I loathe coming here. Avoid if you can.

I took the computer in, and, after determining that the hard drive was no longer good, Ben then proposed a solution, which he worked on fast and efficiently, reassuring me that he was on top of things. But the most eye catching aspect of this business is the personal touch and first rate customer service, patience and communication. Ben takes the time to carefully explain every issue to people...shall we say, far less computer literate than he is. This is a most welcome perk in an age when customer service, courtesy and communication seem to be completely lost on this generation in any given field of business or service. That alone convinced me to consider Ben for all my future computer issues.

I was panic-stricken because I had work deadlines to meet, so I began a search for help as quickly as possible. Ben at MT Computers in Vista was the first place I reached after leaving messages for several others. He told me not to worry and to bring my laptop over to MT Computers, which I did. After updating me with his plan for a course of action and price estimates, he fixed the problem, updated Windows 10 to Windows 11, and ordered a replacement battery. He returned my laptop to me in less than 24 hours, which I really appreciated, and told me that he would let me know when the replacement battery came it. Meanwhile, I could work on my laptop. The replacement battery came in a few days later, I ran over to his shop, and he replaced the battery in about 10 minutes while I waited. However, the battery would not charge up as it should, so I replaced the power adaptor to rule that out (they're cheap), but still the battery would not charge. When I let Ben know, he ordered another new battery, and installed it. Still the battery would not charge, so he ordered a third battery, this time from another vendor. I ran my laptop over one more time, he replaced the battery again in about 10 minutes, and the third battery was a charm! Ben was very kind, reassuring, pleasant, and patient with me. I highly recommend Ben and MT Computers to anyone in the Vista area in need of prompt and efficient computer servicing with great communication and a smile. Thanks again, Ben and MT Computers .     Purchased an Open Box Item from Best Buy online and had it delivered to my house. When it showed up…read moreI opened the box and it was missing items and had the wrong stand for the monitor as well. I brought the return into the Encinitas manager who clearly stated to me "Open Box" items purchased online cannot be returned in store and that I would have to return it to the store it came from which was Menifee. I then tried another location nearby and had no issue returning the Open Box product and purchased a new one there. I will no longer give my business to the Encinitas location. This manager was insulting and even stated she had been with Best Buy for six years. No customer retention or attempt to satisfy my complaint or issue with purchased product. Encinitas location has lost my business and if I had the time I would hold a sign encouraging customers to shop other Best Buy locations.

Never again will I buy anything from Best Buy if this is the type of people they are hiring to be the face of the company.

    Long story short, I dropped my laptop awhile back that caused minor damage where I was able to just…read morepop the pieces back together. Fast forward to about a month ago where I closed my laptop lid and CRACK - something happens where basically the bezel, back over, and hinge gets damaged to the point where it looks like I ripped it apart when I open my laptop back up. Tried to fix it and somehow made it worse by messing up the screen and man, I've done my fair share of taking computers apart before but I wasn't going to mess with my laptop after this series of unfortunate events. Cue Eric! I reached out to a couple of repair guys for a quote and Eric gave me the best one AND the hope that my laptop could be saved (I had a couple others tell me it wasn't worth the fix; mind you, my computer itself worked fine still - I just had to plug in an external monitor to get anything productive done). He was timely with messages, and even let me know that some parts were missing for repair and ordered it for me. His quote was reasonable in comparison to the cost of a brand new laptop and now that I've had it back for a couple weeks; I can honestly say it feels brand new. Appreciate his quickness and his expertise, would definitely come back for any silliness I encounter with computers down the road. Thanks, Eric!
