I had called ahead to check out the lay of the land and chatted with Anthony, one of the managers, he made me feel reassured ahead of time that our Wish kid was going to get a great experience. This morning I came into the store to wait for wish kid and met with Anthony, Brian, Maddie and Carlos. We discussed what kind of entrance my wish kid would like. I was appreciative that the employees were willing to go all out to welcome our 9 year old kid into the store (applause, doors opening etc). But ultimately we decided that wouldn't be value added for our kid, so we went with the low key option. When our kid got to the store Maddie had the exact model of the watch our kid was interested in ready to go and they had Carlos dedicated to helping our kid get his phone set up. I could tell that Carlos has helped many people with their products with the way that he gave clear and easy directions and had a lot of patience. What a great experience. Our kid was thrilled with his new watch.... thanks Apple!

Lots of folks buying Apple products, browsing, etc. One nice thing about Apple stores is that have a separate section for pickups so I didn't have to wait too long. Employees will also help with set up if needed.

    My computer recently experienced an unexpected crash, which left many heads scratching. I took the computer in, and, after determining that the hard drive was no longer good, Ben then proposed a solution, which he worked on fast and efficiently, reassuring me that he was on top of things. But the most eye catching aspect of this business is the personal touch and first rate customer service, patience and communication. Ben takes the time to carefully explain every issue to people...shall we say, far less computer literate than he is. This is a most welcome perk in an age when customer service, courtesy and communication seem to be completely lost on this generation in any given field of business or service. That alone convinced me to consider Ben for all my future computer issues.

I was panic-stricken because I had work deadlines to meet, so I began a search for help as quickly as possible. Ben at MT Computers in Vista was the first place I reached after leaving messages for several others. He told me not to worry and to bring my laptop over to MT Computers, which I did. After updating me with his plan for a course of action and price estimates, he fixed the problem, updated Windows 10 to Windows 11, and ordered a replacement battery. He returned my laptop to me in less than 24 hours, which I really appreciated, and told me that he would let me know when the replacement battery came it. Meanwhile, I could work on my laptop. The replacement battery came in a few days later, I ran over to his shop, and he replaced the battery in about 10 minutes while I waited. However, the battery would not charge up as it should, so I replaced the power adaptor to rule that out (they're cheap), but still the battery would not charge. When I let Ben know, he ordered another new battery, and installed it. Still the battery would not charge, so he ordered a third battery, this time from another vendor. I ran my laptop over one more time, he replaced the battery again in about 10 minutes, and the third battery was a charm! Ben was very kind, reassuring, pleasant, and patient with me. I highly recommend Ben and MT Computers to anyone in the Vista area in need of prompt and efficient computer servicing with great communication and a smile. Thanks again, Ben and MT Computers . I attempted to return it immediately, but after waiting approximately 1.5 hours, I was told the system was down and to come back another day. On my next visit, after another lengthy wait, I was told to drive to AT&T to have the phone unlocked. AT&T informed me they could not help because the device was sold and controlled by Best Buy. I then returned to Best Buy and was told to wait 48 hours and try again. Over the course of multiple visits, my family spent well over 10 hours trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward exchange for a defective phone. The final visit alone took approximately 5 hours to complete the return, replacement, and data transfer. What is most disappointing is not that the phone was defective--manufacturing defects happen. The issue is the repeated misinformation, multiple trips, excessive wait times, and lack of ownership in resolving the problem. My wife and I have two young children, and the amount of time required to fix a problem we did not create was unreasonable. I have attempted to raise these concerns directly but have not received a meaningful response. I'm posting this review in hopes that someone from Best Buy management or customer relations will review this situation and explain how this level of customer service is acceptable.

After changing the battery, he checked all the settings and tried to optimize them as much as possible. When I first brought my 2025 MacBook Air to him my concern was that the cursor would freeze for 15 - 30 seconds quite often, and the round balloon kept appearing and would not let me do anything on the computer also for 15 - 30 seconds throughout the day. Also, it just seemed slow when I tried to open a pages document. Maddening. I told him I know nothing about computers and that I wanted it to work the way it always had since I bought it. He told me he would have to reinstall the operating system. What do I know? I said sure. Even now while typing, the computer stops typing every so often and I have to wait about 15 - 30 seconds for my computer to catch up and print my words. Continuing with my sad tale of woe. I came back the next day and paid him $170. Unfortunately when I got home the computer was not the same. To start with my desktop did not have any of the documents I had saved to it and there were other problems. So I called him and I asked him why he returned my computer to me when it was not the same computer I brought into him. He said I could put everything back on the desktop and he started to rattle off what I needed to do. Ridiculous! I stopped him and reminded him that I said I was tech challenged and did not feel competent to do that. His response was for another $70. he would put my desktop back the way it was. Outrageous that he would half fix my computer, return it to me not the way I gave it to him and then he wanted to charge me more. So I foolishly paid him and the next day my desktop was what it used to be. However, there remained other problems such as my Passkey not working but decided, rather than call him, to call Apple support and they were able to resolve these several issues. Here it is 2 -3 weeks later and I am again having the same problems with the ball and the cursor freezing throughout the day. Also, my computer is being very slow to open my Pages documents. The very same problems he supposedly fixed when he reinstalled my operating system. For sure I will not let Mr. Chip touch my machine again but I will take it to a repair shop that I have used before. The only reason I didn't use them this time is they were backed up and said they couldn't get to my computer for at least 2 days. I should have shown patience and waited. My bad!
