So I went to the store because the people at AT&t customer support said that they would be able to help me return the phones for my trade-in. Well, they were not able to give me a receipt or anything like that so I was very frustrated initially but, after a little bit, they were able to help me get it all set up to send on my own. They got it started and I thank them so much because I am really stressed out about trying to get this done and even though I wasn't the kindest at first, I really, really do appreciate how above and beyond these two gentlemen went for me. Honestly i wish i could give this place 0 stars. I paid off my iphone 14 in order to trade it in for a iphone 15 pro max because the salesman said they would give me credits off for my iphone 15 pro max. Sounded like a great deal my iphone 14 was in great condition so i was sure they would give me the credits, the salesman also said it was in great condition and was surely able to get those credits of at least 700 dollar credit. Keep in mind this was back in the beginning of february after turning in my phone we waited then we saw that i was getting charged regular price for my phone bill and no discount was being made so we called and they had told us they lost the phone and needed the IMEI. When i finally was able to find the IMEI they told us they submitted the phone they denied it ? then submitted it again ? and denied it again ? i thought they lost the phone ???? so we then asked if we could have the phone back then and they said they can't return it after they've given it to the company. They weren't willing to come to a solution to help us out. the store manager nor the general manager were no help and said they couldn't do anything for us. We basically gave away a free phone and gambled and got scammed very disappointed and going to have to go directly to AT&T hopefully they won't throw us around for a loop. read more

There is an employee at this location who may or may not be a manager. He aggressively approached me and hassled me while in the market to purchase new noise canceling earbuds from Samsung. He also threated multiple times to contact authorities because I would not engage in verbal combat with him. In addition, there were two female employees here who did not engage, most likely because they are familiar with the rapport of this employee though I am not sure. I will be reaching out to Samsung as well as my Samsung vendor, Reggie S. from the Best Buy store(s). Absolutely unacceptable. I was able to find time to visit the AT&T location in San Marcos and browse very peacefully though it was near closing time. This employee is in need of and has also earned the need for disciplinary action. Lastly, I informed this person at the 4225 Oceanside Blvd, location of my tenure of being an AT&T customer, to no avail. A decade...gone down the drain. read more

I visited today to return WiFi equipment as I was told to visit any ATT store to do so. Walked into the store to see there employees, of which two were helping the customers and the third was flirting with the same customer, until minutes later she turns around and say we'll be with you in a minute and turned her back and continued to flirt. This customer was already being helped. Finally a different employee let me know they were ready and was told I had to go to a UPS store to do so, contradicting what the ATT agent told me previously. I love coming to this location, its nice and clean, and specifically because of the employees, which are super helpful and knowledgable. But then, customer service lady's friends showed up without mask even though the store specifically mandated the mask for everyone. They all started chatting for long time, so my dad asked how many more minutes we need to wait. Okay even though (In My Experience) all the other at&t stores have proven to me unworthy of my money....the employees are uneducated and under trained.... one of them the other day didn't know ANY answer to any question I asked, so I just read the shit myself to him word for word off the sign in the store and he was still confused and adamant about how he was right , when the sign proved otherwise...... Anyways besides that RACQUEL (sorry if I spelled that wrong) you made my life so much easier that night, you worked so hard helping everyone in a respectful and orderly fashion even though it was after closing time. You made sure everyone left satisfied and you put your own personal swing on it which left a lasting impression on everyone that night. I wish there were more people like her. She deserves it all. Hard working and passionate about getting the job done right for people. Thanks Anthony! I love my LG G8 ThinkQ with the dual cover and LG Stylo 5. I discovered Anthony at the Oceanside Blvd store after a very bad experience ordering a smartphone online and having the delivery date change from 3/31 to May. This was after trying to order my phone online (with a 90 min wait ), then receiving an email the next day saying the phone would not arrive until mid-May and this could possibly change. When I got this notice, I called again and waited 60 minutes to cancel the phone order and was told it could only be cancelled online. My S8 was broken and many stores are closed. I was elated to find this store was open. I was impressed. The customer representative that helped me was Anthony. Anthony went above and beyond with customer service by taking time to really listen to my needs and offered me alternatives to my well researched smart phone options I chose for my budget. I have been with ATT since 2007 and unfortunately, have a handful of positive experiences. (They are the best carrier in my area so I can't switch). Anthony is at the top of these positive experiences. Normally with ATT. I have to question a lot, because the person I am dealing with is not aware of all the ins and outs of the promotions (the small print). Anthony did. Anthony's willingness and application of his knowledge motivated me to come back the following day and add another line and purchase another phone. Anthony knew about the different phones and service plans and was passionate in sharing the knowledge and making sure the smart phones chosen by me were what I was looking for. I hope ATT recognizes talent and retains employees like Anthony. As an aside, I observed foot traffic while buying my phones over the course of 2 days. I noticed customers come in and yell at the employees and take out their very real understandable frustrations about the long hold time calling ATT about billing issues. I don't know what the fall out was on any other representatives that were the brunt of the frustration of some of these people, but I want to share I observed Mary Ellen, Adrian, and the manager Katie were professional and helpful and were not disrespectful or mean to the angry clients that took their frustrations out on them and threatened to complain about them. ATT you have great employees. You should empower them more at the store level so they can actually help clients, instead of sending them to the store and the store having no means to actually make changes for them. I really like this store. It is very big an bright and is laid out very nicely. The staff was very helpful without being pushy and left me with a sense of confidence. They will answer all your questions and explain things clearly. I've not been overly impressed with AT&T (reception, costs, etc.) but with a store like this available to help me, I will stick with AT&T even when my contract expires. As a side, I was a little concerned about visiting this center because the parking lot can be a little tight at night,. In the middle of the day, however, the space was ample. read more

Fantastic customer service at THIS AT&T store! I came in with a minor cracked screen protector issue and was impressed with Colby's proactive approach to resolve my issue. He rapidly looked up my account info, verified my security code (good to know they do this) and confirmed the screen protector purchase. He quickly removed the broken screen protector and expertly put a new one on my phone at no cost. He this while calmly answering my wife's myriad of questions regarding various AT&T services and programs. At this point we were very frustrated and upset with how we were treated with Direct TV that we went into the store not knowing what to expect. Me and my husband had lots of questions and concerns. Racque ,the only employee working, went above and beyond for us, called direct tv directly and cancelled our initail order with them.
