I've got to give these folks credit. I came in here on a Saturday with a phone I picked up secondhand - I'm with Verizon, and I might resell this phone anyway - and they helped me get it unlocked. The staff of three was all masked up, and there were separate standing areas; each staff member seemed to be helping three different customers at once - selecting phones, transferring phones, fixing billing issues, and helping people like me. I was impressed at their efficiency. As a non-customer, thanks again - it's enough to make me consider AT&T again! read more

I had a very frustrating experience with AT&T regarding a trade-in. In January 2026, I traded in my iPhone 16 Plus at the AT&T store on 175 Old Grove Rd, Oceanside, CA, when I upgraded to an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Tito was the employee who processed my trade-in in store. I never received a trade-in confirmation or the credits I was supposed to receive. I contacted the store and AT&T multiple times over the following months. I was repeatedly told that a ticket had been submitted and that Robert, their manager, would call me back, but I never received the promised follow-up. I spent months trying to get an issue resolved that should have been handled at the time of the trade-in. I eventually had to file an FCC complaint just to get the issue properly investigated. AT&T later acknowledged that they could not locate the original trade-in transaction in their system. Although the issue was eventually addressed, the resolution was not enough to make me feel that I received fair value for my phone. Honestly, after everything I went through, I felt like my phone was basically robbed from me. I appreciate that the FCC complaint finally resulted in action, but customers should not have to escalate a simple trade-in issue to a federal complaint just to get help. The communication and follow-through throughout this process were extremely disappointing. I hope the store improves its documentation and customer service so other customers don't have to go through the same experience. read more

Ive been to thia location multiple times since its close to my house. I keep giving this store a chance but the customer service sucks. Nobody greets you when you walk in, dont even acknowledge you. I had a problem with my phone and there were 3 workers and only 2 other customers in the store and not one came and asked if I needed help. So I left and went to the other AT&T office oceanside Blvd and I was helped right away I know I cam count on that store but not the one off old grove! HORRIBLE customer service. read more

Been with this location for probably 12 years now. Traded my iPhone 8 to upgrade to the iPhone 17 since they offered a promotion for $350 credit toward the new phone. Traded it in late September. First billing cycles go by and saw no credits. They told me it would take a month before it gets applied. Second billing cycles, still no credits. Called to ask, and they now tell me my plan doesn't qualify for the promotion. I've been on the same plan for 12 years, they should've known at the time. So I asked what happens now. They said I would receive only market value for my trade in ($40) Promotion incentivized me to get a new phone. Just so they can bait and switch after you've already committed to the purchase read more

The best cell phone store ever! Great attention, first time in my life that I feel welcome walking into a phone store. They were extremely helpful and super friendly. Absolutely recommended read more

Why does this store have a total of 3.5 stars? Beats me. They are fantastic. I've been doing business here for years and today was another exemplary day with Spencer! I needed to replace my screen protector (again...) and he not only did a great job, but he made jokes and made the whole experience far funner than it should be. All of these guys are terrific so go here to do your business - they will make it worth your while! read more

We bought a brand new iPhone 12 that in less than 24 hours got stuck on a black screen. Brought it back the next day and Moses said "well at this point it's Apple's problem, not ours" and apparently they were "out of stock" when just yesterday they were offering us the same exact phone in several colors. Didn't give us any other options. Didn't even offer the 14 day return policy - I found that out on my own when I read my receipt after he walked away and left the phone on the table. Didn't even give it back to me. He proceeded to help another customer, he never came back to talk to me after that. I wish no stars was an option. read more

These people are shady. Watched a young salesman really pressure an elderly couple into buying an iPhone and signing up for data contracts. The couple came in with flip phones asking to have their direct tv / att bills evaluated to get the cost down because they are on a fixed income. Made me sick to watch the whole thing go down. read more

It would be one star for previous experiences but.....Gabriel. Normally I get sent away with the famous words "just upgrade" Thank you Gabriel for your help and listening to what I went i there for. Now I will upgrade though you. read more

Robert incredibly knowledgeable and always helpful in solving every problem.

I wish I could rate a negative star. I'm still here waiting to get helped. It's been 1 hour that I've been waiting. There's only one customer service rep and he hasn't even acknowledged the rest of the waiting customers or even apologized for the delay. I've counted 5 others that left because of the wait. I'm at a loss because I really need to get an issue resolved so I can't leave, The worst customer service ever! Did not come here!! read more

Based off some reviews, it appears the gentleman that helped us today has a reputation of being unhelpful: he would only address my husband and didn't take time to speak to me or would call only my husband over to speak to. As well as forgetting to charge us other fees as soon as we had driven away. I am one of the account holders. So pretty rude I don't get to be spoken to about my own account. Did not transfer our phones properly after asking questions to make sure the information went to the right number. Now my deceased grandmothers voicemails are on my husbands phone and his work voice mails are on mine. Overall a rude, money grabbing experience with someone who seems to not have enough experience to do this on their own. read more

There's not much I can say besides the fact that my experience here was one of the few where I wasn't intimidated at all. It's pretty normal tempo for the most part of phone retail stores. Walk in, wait for your turn. I came in with a mission luckily and Xavier was there to save the day. I needed to start my own plan with At&t and I wasn't sure how much it was going to cost. Xavier made it really simple, told me the plans and depending on what plan I chose along with the phone I picked would determine the average cost of payments. He explained every plan they offered around my criteria very well and simple as needed, which I respected and understood very well. I decided I did not need the $90 unlimited plan because the pros of the service were just luxuries. At the end of the day I left with a new plan, the Note 8 ( which I was really happy with), and my head up high. They even played old clips of some funny videos on YouTube on their big screen while I waited for my phone to be updated. Thank you to the team that helped me out! read more

I went to Walmart to put your purchase an AT&t phone and I actually called Robert the manager of the AT&t in oak Grove to help me walk me through how to transfer my number from T-Mobile to the AT&t phone that I currently have he was very helpful in the phone very polite there professionalism did a three-way call with the number I called to help me get through to a live person I think he either deserves a raise higher up in a position or anything because he stayed on the phone with me for a long time I've had them in at least an hour maybe 45 minutes but he was very very helpful to me so I just want to leave this review for him and hopes that whoever is above him will see this the district manager also 4th thank you so much and my name is Samantha I have it on Yelp is Linda cuz I'm trying to be anonymous I know it's silly but my name is Samantha and I'm a resident of Oceanside thank you so much read more

Moises is a crook to put it lightly. My husband and I worked with him for 2 hrs while he set up our new account, and bought 2 new phones. He didn't ask us, or go over what type of service plan we wanted. He just said he set it up exactly like my dads plan, which proved later to be a lie. I asked him if we could see a summary of our plan before we left, on a phone/tablet/printout or otherwise. He said that that was not possible. He refused to tell us how much our plan was, or what was in our plan. He wouldn't even pencil it out for us. We were told it was all to be sent to our email after 24hrs. We never received a summary of our plan, but when we logged in on the ATT app is when we confirmed the deceit. At the get go, I told Moises that my husband is active duty military and we came in for the Military discount. He confirmed he was setting it up that way. I asked him if he needed to see my husbands ID or anything, and he said no. I said, "are you sure? that doesn't sound right to me that you can give us the military discount without any ID " he confirmed again he didn't need it. That's because he never set it up, even after telling us he did several times. What do you know, this ATT is an authorized retailer, not the corporate office. These guys are heavily dependent on commission and are head strong on getting it. Even if you're smart and thorough they will still take advantage of you. Don't go here, and if you must, at least do NOT go to Moises. read more

Gabriel was amazing, helping a few people out at the same time while being able to manage all the questions. He explained my bill to me and got me all squared away. I will definitely be coming back to this store read more

Most real AT&T locations have friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this location. Poor customer service with lazy and unprofessional employees! I wonder if it has anything to do with this location not being a true AT&T company store. In addition, the parking lot is tiny and is shared with a Starbucks. read more

Traded in one phone . Robert was very helpful . He was very patient with us ,considering we are technically impaired.

Xavier and Moses both helped me out today with my phone problems. Went in to get my new phone set up and needed help with another family members phone. They helped in both cases. One was a bit of a mystery to why the phone wasn't working and Xavier figured out it was most likely water damage. They both were patient (as my phone took a while to load changes), kind, and super helpful. Great customer service. read more

Excellent service, great deals on adding lines for the kids. Ask for Moises, he is outstanding!!!

Robert C is fantastic. He resolved my paperless billing discount and combined billing issues which could not be resolved online nor calling the assistance numbers. Xavier is also terrific as he previously helped us upgrade our phones and answered all our questions. Both gents are professional, capable, honest and very nice guys. read more

Went into at&t to see why my phone was losing connection, Gabriel told me it was a bad area in the service just sucked. He was actually more interested in watching the TV that was in front of him. Find other AT&T stores or just buy Verizon. This store sucks, the service is terrible and they don't care about customer service. I bought a Iphone 6+ and needed the $25 AT&T micro car charger in January. The charger stopped working 2 days a go and I simply returned to the store and told the young lady the problem and she said, the "Store Policy" is 2 weeks for returns or refunds. The AT&T charger is warranteed for 1 year, but they don't care. I have a chager that lasted only 2 months and this is the exceptional service and product support you will find here. If you insist on poor service and being belittled, come here. Please look at the reviews and I'm not alone in this situation. Can all of us be wrong? No, so avoid this place so it closes and maybe Verizon will take over. read more

This place is great! Seriously. So I came here after I went to the AT&T store off of Oceanside blvd (which had better reviews-& what a huge mistake). I called ahead of time to this store to make sure they could help me transfer a couple of lines and get a new phone. Robert was amazing And so was Xavier! They completed everything that I needed done and were extremely professional and happy to help. I even held them up an hour after closing time due to tedious transfer being done. read more

Worst experience. Awful, entitled attitude from a very young man working towards my self & my Navy, war veteran husband. My family and I have been in a joint plan since 1998 with everyone as an authorized user. That's right, 1998. My husband and I are in our 40s now. My parents are older, have never lived where we are, my stepfather has dementia and they do not use this service anymore. It's taken years to have someone help us transfer our lines over & calling customer service never works. It's usually a language barrier and a rep doesn't understand it's just a transfer. I've spent countless hours, trying to maintain a transfer of lines and use our military discount as well (war veteran of a husband). Upon entering this store, I was tired & frustrated, not mean. The young man would not listen, he kept saying "you don't need to be stressed" and lecture me about how I should be. I wasn't anything but polite & frustrated. He never offered to look up our account or offer an appropriate solution. I'm about 20 years his senior, being "put down" and "scolded". He then couldn't answer how he could help me after we asked, texted his boss and said I need I need a power of attorney to move my line, my husbands line & our business IPad to our own social security number/pin. I said I know that's not the case, because I was directed here, I know what being a power of attorney takes & I'm an authorized user on this account. My step father has dementia, I'm not the caretaker & this child kept asking me to bring my father in to sign something & show his ID. That's when he told me to get a power of attorney. I asked him if he knew what they was, and he said no. I said that's a very involved process of legally transferring my fathers estate, care and everything to me & that is not how we as a family set up his care and estate. The boy was rude to me, my husband was shocked that this kid wouldn't just offer any sort of help, and we left. We went to the store on Palomar Airport. I explained my situation, the man Victor (amazing!!!!) looked up my acct, took my ID, and said "You are authorized to move your numbers at anytime". He was appalled that I was told I couldn't. He chatted with my husband and I, asked about my husbands service & transferred everything within 40 minutes, including our iPad. Im an att costomer. I wanted to buy a new Iphone so i could give My iphone 4 to a disabled man who needed one deperately. Buy it, transfer data, clear the old phone. Ta da. How easy would that be? Seven days later---- and 6 employees from two stores later-----they could not make that happen thanks to the new young salesgirl at this store. So dissapointing. I will only go to the vista way store from now on. An you even believe that mess up and a 800.00 loss to the store. The worst service ever! When i finally just returned everything one young man who didnt have on a name tag, handled my return quickly and with no errors. On my first day at that store, 3 men were angry and really upset at the manager. I should have listened to them and left on day one. read more
