I used to go here all the time to get things I need for my vehicle. However, after this visit, I will not be returning. It was a Saturday and the workers name is Amanda that was working. She was the only one, which is fine, but i didn't appreciate her attitude. There was 2 other customers waiting behind me. I was trying to get things for an oil change. I tried to smile and say hello, but the cashier just looked at me and said what do you want? I believe her name was Donna. Also, I couldn't understand her because of the piercings in her lips. His name is ISMAEL AMADOR. He's a gem to this company, and he needs to be acknowledged for his exceptional customer service. He came out and helped me with my air conditioner. He answered all of my questions and without him, my friend was gonna charge me money. I went to this Oriellys the other day, because the other Oceanside Oriellys didn't have my part. And when I walked in I thought I was in a game show. Employees outside smoking cigarettes and weed. I walked inside and noticed the manager Thad on his phone texting and giggling. I was waiting very patiently for him to get off his phone so I can ask him for my part; that the other Oriellys put on hold for me. He finally looked up at me and asked if he could help me. It took me 30 minutes to get to that O'Reillys cause there was a little bit of traffic and it took him over 45 minutes to locate my part even though I just heard him say that he remembers they called him to put it on hold for me. I looked around the store while waiting and everything was disgusting. There was dirt and spiderwebs everywhere. Like no one has cleaned in a decade. I've been in this business for a very long time and I've never seen an O'Reillys so disgusting before. I really feel bad if that's the manager because if it is; his approach to leadership resembles a rudderless vessel, meandering through turbulent waters without direction, frequently encountering obstacles and running aground. This location came and saved the day! I called the main business line to thank them that's how much they helped me. So back sorry, my car battery died, I had to get a jump, called 2 O'Reilly's and no one answered. So I just drove to one. First one, girl charged me for battery even though I had battery warranty. Paid $350. BUT THEY COULDNT PUT IT IN! Told me to do it myself, not only did I not know how at the time but it was a million degrees, I had no tools, and had my new born with me after just having c-section. So I got in the car with barely any juice in the old battery and started driving to the other location that no one answered the phone for. So I called again, a chick answered and said we don't put batteries in for you. And I said every other O'rielly has if I bought the battery there. And she said nope sorry. We don't. And hung up. Then found out there was this location. Called and a man picked up right away and said yah come in. Went in with baby they told me to stay inside with air conditioning because it was so hot and I had my new born with me who was crying. I thought that was so nice. While one guy was replacing my battery, I was speaking to the manager and had told him what happened. He told me that I didn't need to pay for my battery and went out of his way, out of HIS location to give me my money back because I had my warranty. What absolutely amazing people at this location! I've been bringing my recycled oil here for more than a few times now. Usually you sign in and they take you leave oil to the back to dispose it. Today, one of their staff had me do his job by saying carry my oil and follow him to the back so I can dump it myself.. the hell did that change?!?!? 11/2/19 2:30 pm..to the young white dude with a mustache with a bold head..You put Oreillys at risk by having me do your job and if i would of fell and got hurt, things wouldn't look good for this company. This is the most pleasant O'Reilly's location I have EVER visited. Raul and his team really makes the purchase and core return effortless!! I had ordered a power steering pump from this location and after installing the pump on the weekend tried to return the core at another O'Reilly's location, the folks there could not figure out how to process the core return because the pump was purchased using a commercial account. I brought the core back to this location and they process the core return in not even a minute. Recently I rented some tools and purchased a starter at this location as well. The return was just as smooth! The Plaza Drive location is where you want to make your purchase, tool rentals, and returns! Save yourself the trouble. read more

I went to O'Reilly's on Plaza Drive in Oceanside for an air filter. Firestone said mine was dirty and would be $100 to replace. Even though I can't even change a tire, I thought I'd youtube it or something. I was hoping whoever helped me wouldn't be condescending since I'm pretty ignorant about cars. I was in luck. I believe the person who helped was named "Guy" (I forgot to ask, but it was 6/5/23 around 7:30 p.m.) and he was so nice. I ended up getting new air filters for inside and out, plus a new windshield wiper (I have a Prius and they charge like $55 to replace). I asked "Guy" if they just snap on, and he said he'd do it for me. He also replaced both the air filters. It was such a relief. I assumed I could figure out how to replace these parts, and after watching Guy, I'm pretty sure I could do it myself next time. But he was so nice and I'm so grateful! This particular shop has outstanding customer service! They offer free battery re-charge service. I recently had a situation where I was in a jam and needed to have the battery charged. I suspected I might need a new battery altogether since it had been garaged for a while. Sure enough the battery did have to be replaced. The staff even installed the new one and were just awesome the whole way through. It took until after the store's closing time, but there were great about it. Highly recommended! read more

Took my battery to get it charged here and 20 minutes later they call me telling me that my battery was not rechargeable that it was a bad battery that even if they put it to charge it wasn't gonna work and I had already took it to the battery world and they put it to charge and now the battery is completely ok this people red to help customers that's why they offer their services if they don't wanna work I know the battery was ok it's just need it to be recharged a little bit but they didn't that's the last time I do business here last won't be back what's the point of offering services if they don't wanna help you sucks read more

He went above and beyond to help me--while multitasking as well. He was able to help me get on the O'Reilly website, figure out my rewards program items, and get my card replaced (it turned out it was the card number and my own user errors). This guy even helped me with my phone. I ended up buying way too much, but I usually do at this store.
