    Unsigned and unusable check.
    Alex G.

These people literally stole my car. When LKQ came to pick up my car, the check they gave me wasn't signed. I didn't notice this until my bank took the amount for the check back out of my account. I've been waiting 6 days for them to drop off a signed check. When I initially asked for them to come back and sign the check I was told to drive 25 minutes away so they could sign the check to which I said, "drive back and sign it", which they were completely unwilling to do. They were supposed to come today and drop off a signed check but they never showed up. As I write this I've been on hold with LQK for the past 45 minutes after they asked me if I'm calling about the '99 Infiniti (my car)...so they know why I'm calling and are just ignoring me. I picked this company because they're one of the biggest and it actually made working with them a nightmare. I keep getting punted from rep to rep to scrap yard back to rep. Obligatory If I could give zero stars.

Since LKQ bought up pick your part and ecology locations, prices have gone up. But now there is a dedicated price list on website Ive been to this junk yard on pick your parts 40% off weekend. However, this location doesnt share that periodical discount. It didnt do so the day i attended. This location is probably the worst place to go for domestic vehicles. Ive never seen such a small domestic vehicle inventory. If you are coming here for domestic, chances are they wont have ur vehicle. I came here because they had some vehicles that are not normally in inventory at other locations. They were not domestic. The parking is public street parking and limited. No parking lot. The cashier will charge you according to price list on website. Their vehicle selection is bad. Domestic is worst. They have a primo lot. It is better than their regular lot. But its not typically newer vehicles than their regular lot. Its just vehicles in better condition. Entry for primo lot is typically an extra $2. The prices are significantly more for parts as well. For those who complained about not knowing their inventory. Since they are owned by pick your part, their inventory list is available on pickyourpart.com. For those who complain about prices, their price list is also available on website. Just make sure you dont walk up to cashier and have them figure out the name of item. If you have a shock, tell them its a shock. Know what your part is or risk being charged for something similar and priced more than your actual part. Last but not least: If you buy any part here and all you want is that one particular part. You must remove all attachments or you will be charged for everything attached to the part. Just like one reviewer pointed out about a trunk lid. The cashier will charge you for everything attached to trunk lid. Emblems, lock cylinder, wires, hinges, tail light assemblies, bulbs, etc. Remove everything or pay for everything attached to it. If you dont, you cant complain if they charge you for it. Its their job to charge you for everything. Dont expect anything to be free here. You pay for everything, including screws, nuts, bolts. Check price list on pickyourpart.com But once you pay and if they make a mistake and not charge you for an attached part or under charge you for something, the entry/exit guard cannot send you back thru to make the cashier charge you more. The receipt says all sales are final. You should just walk out and ignore the guard or demand full refund of your order and leave. Then break all the junk in their face so no one else can buy something that took you mins or hours to remove. They cant do anything about it because its all junk

I went without calling, to check if they had the headlight I needed and to my surprise found it right away. Got it for a reasonable price.

Let me just lead by saying, Mike at All American Auto Care saved me $150…read morewith just a couple e-Mails!!! Now, I have your attention, here's the rest of the story. I have a 2010 Mini Cooper (R56) Hatchback. For a while, the Check Engine icon has been lit up on the dash. Initialy, the dealership said it needed a new O2 Sensor & quoted about $700 to replace. The car was a bit slugish but, if I kept the revs up, it was fine. Over time, I noticed the engine had a harder time cranking over to start. Finaly, one day, my Cooper wouldn't start. I got a jump & decided to disable the Running Lights, radio, AC, & lights to come on when I unlock the car. Running the car in this mode turned the Check Engine icon off. I figured I should replace the battery on the car & called the dealer to replace the battery. They quoted $360 ($220 for the OEM replacement battery & 1.5 hours of labor) including reprogramming the ECM in the car. This is where a Man like Mike (the mechanic) comes in. Mike knew, the dealer was not being completely honest. By installing a different battery, I was able to avoid the so called reprogramming fee, (which is an urban legend) which saved me money!!! This is the benefit of having a mechanic like Mike who knows fact from fiction in the automotive world. NOTE: Don't always trust what the dealer says!!! Instead, trust Mike at All American Auto Care in Murrieta! Let me know how much money he saves you?

When I called this location my call went to a Call Center in Kentucky. I wanted to talk to the…read morestore to find out if the could get my car done today or not. The Call Center misled me into thinking they were at the store and they are NOT! Your Call Center should be more transparent about this. This is a MAJOR ISSUE. Your Call Center assured me that they "will get me in and out" with brakes, an oil change, and four new tires at 4 pm, and to "come right in", and "I have a 4 pm appt for you". LIES!! I walked into the store and they were slammed.. Simón said that there was no 4 pm appt for me, but he would take good care of me anyways. I raised my voice at him, "I just talked to you!" "You said 'in & out'". He calmly said he did not talk to me, but will take good care of me. I calmed myself. I was so angry. He said he would NEVER make a 4 pm appt for someone who needed brakes, 4 tires, and an oil change, when they close at 5 pm. It all made perfect sense. Simón offered to get my tires and oil change started, but offered to inspect my car to see if I even needed brakes. I agreed. It turned out my back brakes were at 6 mm and my fronts were 4 mm, so I still had time to change them. They squeezed me in even though they had cars they were trying to get out of the shop. EXCELLENT management by these guys to fix the predicament their "Call Center" had suckered me into. Evan's Tire & Service in Lemon Grove is a super place with super employees! They gave me a great price, and I was out of there at 5 pm. You need to fix your Call Center though- these stores are welcoming angry customers like me, because they are being lied to. Good job Simón & crew! I owe you one. The Call Center review would be 0 stars.
