We are from out of town and looking for a convenient place to get a second opinion on the "weird noise" our car was making. The first place we went to quoted us $1600 for a new control arm and shocks. Jessica answered the phone with such enthusiasm and so willing to fit us in, we definitely had to go although Fallbrook was 6 miles off the I-15. Boy are we glad we did!!! They did a full diagnostic to find out there was nothing wrong with the control arm or shocks but just the heat shield that was bent and rubbing against something causing the noise. They fixed it for nothing more than the cost of the diagnostic. AWESOME service and everybody there was sooooo friendly and great!! We were so impressed and 1000% satisfied with Fallbrook Auto Works. Iv Been going to Eric's shop for 5 years now and I'm disappointed to say that's after my last experience with him. I refuse to bring my vehicle back. Eric threatened me into removing my google review. I was told if it wasnt removed he wasnt going to warrenty the vehicle. After 5 months and 4500$ Eric voided my warrenty and wont fix any of the damage his poor mechanic work caused. Eric is unprofessional, arrogant, and unqualified to perform the jobs he charges thousands of dollars for. I've been going to Fallbrook Auto Works for years now. All my vehicles and my Suzuki always get the best in auto repair care there. The fees for the repairs are far better than other places I've been to in town. Eric and his crew are the most professional I've had in dealing with mechanics. Had taken my daughter's car into town to get smog'd. Didn't pass! A plastic air duct assembly had weathered and needed to be replaced. Went to Fallbrook Auto Works and was given a very reasonable quote and told they would fit in the installation as soon as the part arrived so I could get it back to the Smog shop the same day. Unfortunately, the 10-15-minute installation was a bit more challenging, and it took over an hour to install the part. To their credit, they stood by their original fee for service quote! Good on you Eric and staff. This is why I have been coming to Fallbrook Auto Works with all my vehicles for the last 20 years. I took my car in because it would run for a little while and then quit. When I let it set for an hour or so it would run again and then stop. Eric, the owner, was very nice and I paid him again and again because he said he did work and he said it was fixed but, It was never fixed by him. He had my car for about a year, I drove my truck. Sometimes it would take Eric more than a month to fix it again. Eventually I took my car to different repair shops. I had all my receipts, including one for a used computer. All the shops told me everything had been done for my car to fix my complaint. They said there was nothing more they could do. Then a guy noticed that my "used" computer did not have the scribbling on it that is usually seen on used parts. He suspected the computer had not been replaced. He replaced the computer. The car has run like a top ever since. Eric, the owner of Fallbrook Auto Works charged me for a used computer that he did not purchase or install. My car's problem was fixed as soon as another computer was installed. I am an 80 year old woman. Eric took my money, my time and my energy for a year. He is a very bad person. read more

My actual payment turned out to be $200 less than the quote. My car trucked in there on the brink of exploding (figuratively), and came out as good as new. Set up the appointment to get my ECU tested and gave them my phone number to call for any decision making. They completely disregarded that and called my wife to approve further repairs. They lied about waiving diagnostic fees if problems weren't found and then completely lied about the diagnostics themselves. Told my wife the car would need a new engine or new heads entirely based on their compression test showing 1 cylinder was extremely low(which wasn't actually the case at all when the compression was tested after elsewhere. The compressions were FINE!) After I realized what they were doing, I went to the shop to pick my car up and they wanted to charge me almost $500 for looking at my car for an hour and then lying to me about what's wrong with it!! Would NOT recommend and I honestly have no idea how they're still in business. They take advantage of women and acted shady during the entire process. read more

I went to Fallbrook Auto Works for a concern about a low/dead battery. Had no appointment just showed up. The front desk manager was on top of it!!! He said he had a mechanic available to look at my car. Within 45 minutes my car was driving off the lot with a new battery and fluids filled. This might be long... I'm a single mother and not only did my truck stop working, but after the repairs, my daughters car needed repairs. 100% love these guys. Having repairs needed sucks no matter what- knowing that these guys treat you like family and having them truly support me in helping my daughter get back on the road - is priceless. Watching people walk in and out of their shop just to say "hi" or watching them great their customers on a first name basis is nothing short of impressive. They work hard. They are honest. It's obvious that they have lifetime clients - 1 woman sat and talked to the owner about what has been happening in her life and having the owner listen - attentively- she as exactly what the world is missing in terms of auto care. I literally will not bring my vehicle anywhere else in the future- they became my village. Offering to help pick me up or drop me off was just an additional display of a small business that truly cares. Eric is very rude and a big liar. Takes advantages of women that dont know anything about mechanics. My mother took her truck and it took more than 4 year just to fix the electrical problem. We received the truck with missing parts, scratches, broken inside and out. OVERALL BAD EXPERIENCE. I kindly called to get an estimate on when the car was going to be ready because my mother was getting ignored and the round around back and forth. I finally got a hold of Eric and he personally stated that he had never received a call from my mother (lier). He informed me that he personally was going to be present when I pick up the truck. He was never to he found and his assistant is very blunt and rude. This truck was never used was just sitting in the garage due to electrical problems. We received it with no radio working, no ac, seats damaged, stained and ripped, horn wasn't working parts of the car where missing overall big huge loss and had the nerve to tell me that I still HAD TO PAY AMD THEY WHERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMGE. I am straight up with my reviews. I don't mess around and I tell it like it is. Eric at Fallbrook Auto Works is the same way. He doesn't hassle you or make up fake auto problems to get more money. He tells you exactly what is wrong and gets himself going. No games, no BS. And if there is something that is not directly related to the repair itself, but he feels that it is necessary to get the job done, he does it and wont charge. I had an AC leak and he put in the dye to find it. No charge for that when other mechs. would have tacked on $5 at least. I once had a hell of an electrical problem. I was charged the first time, but had to come back when the problem came back. Eric made the decision not to charge me again when I had to bring the car back due to the fact I had already brought it in once. Not only is he honest, but that last part shows he is HONORABLE. So thankful we found this repair shop! My husband's Cadillac broke down on his way to work, around 5pm. We were pretty certain it was the alternator. This repair shop was one that was close by and had good ratings. I called and spoke with Susie and she was very kind and helpful. She was able to tell me how much it would cost. After my husband got off of work, we dropped the car off before they opened. I called right when they opened at 8am and Susie said she had ordered the alternator the day before, just in case, and it was already delivered. The car was done about 2pm that same day. My car blew up. Looked on yelp for an auto place In fallbrook because I'm not familiar with the area. This place had great reviews so I took it over there. Left Monica (2008 mustang) there while I went to work, got a call from Eric a few hours later with the problem and he was generous enough to fix her without a payment up front. Granted it was only $250 he was still generous enough to help me out. Swung by after they closed,he was still there, I paid for it and took her home. It's been 4 days now and she's running great! Super nice people, no waiting around inside the office either. Should monica ever act up again I'll bring it back here! As for what happened to my mustang... Blown thermostat housing.
