This place is family owned and operated. I got taken by another mechanic in Fallbrook and thank God I found this place. 2 services on my Audi and am completely satisfied with pricing, service and quality of care. Thank you Village European Auto. read more

The best car shop i've ever been to. So glad they are here in Fallbrook. I trust Greg and his team completely and they always do a great job for a fair price. read more

Seems as though the shop has many positive reviews. However, I just got off the phone with one of their shop managers or mechanic whatever he may be and I kind of had the worst experience. He was rushing me off. The phone kept interrupting me was not pleasant at all and basically saying that they're not taking any new customers. So be well aware that the shop is not taking any new customers because they are so full with current projects. They are not a business that is essentially open for you to get repairs done. That's it. I was advised to call at a later time in the future to see if that has changed. I'm not sure how that would work because if I need an oil change in the next week or two and they're not taking you customers, am I supposed to hold off for 3 or 5 months from now to call them to see if now they can squeeze me in? Ultimately this is all silly and although they may have positive reviews, very discouraged by the phone call that I just had and I will not be calling this business back in the future to see if they have the bandwidth to work on my vehicle. Again, be very well aware that they are too full to do any repairs. So if you're a new client, look elsewhere!! read more

So glad to have this wonderful and personal service from this shop of amazing and friendly experts! I took my car in twice to see why my battery malfunction light was coming on and my air conditioning was not working in my 2020 GLC 350 E SUV. After inspecting it and doing a regular oil change service, Greg said I should contact my insurance company to see if it was related to a car accident and then follow up with caliber collision. Since he doesn't do batteries for my hybrid, I needed to take it to Mercedes! What a great outcome and everything was covered by the recalled item that triggered codes! Greg walked me through this, and I just appreciate his help so much! I don't want to go to Mercedes for anything, but if Greg can't do it, that is my last resort! read more

I believe Village European repair is HONEST, in terms of repairs actually needed, pricing and the time it takes for repairs. The repairs and parts used are high quality I would give 5/5 stars and would highly recommend. read more

Passing by to write another review. If I could give 10/5 stars to Greg and his team I would. My car recently took what I thought might be its "final drive" over to his shop, and Greg went above and beyond to help me solve the issue and get it to BMW for a safety recall to help save the poor girl from her fate of sudden death. His prices are always reasonable and fair for a European auto specialist, and his team is always kind and helpful even when I call a million times a day for an update. Fallbrook is lucky to have an honest mechanic here in town. Greg please don't ever leave town! read more

I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years since moving to Fallbrook. Always honest, always upfront and always willing to get me in for emergencies when I can't wait for an appointment. I have called the shop for advice even when traveling out of state to be sure I wasn't getting taken advantage of. Greg, the owner is top notch when it comes to ethics, service and reliability. He uses quality products and is always willing to work with my time and my budget. Necessity for a single gal! read more

Best service by far!!! Brought in our 2003 BMW X3 for some rough engine issues. Greg diagnosed our problems and gave us options for repair. Super thorough, transparent and timely throughout the process. Would highly recommend 10/10!!! read more

We have taken our European AND Japanese make cars to Greg for a few years now. Always reasonable and fair on the minor things we had done. Have my 09 Tacoma in now, getting a new clutch, flywheel, valve cover gasket, and general tune up. Greg has been great about keeping me informed as to what he found, etc., and provides options. Price is more than reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. Highly recommend Greg and Village European Auto. A good, honest mechanic is golden! read more

Greg is very responsive and takes great care of your car! Tells you as it is and doesn't gauge you for things you don't need. Highly recommend! read more

Not the cheapest place in town, but they know their stuff and and have great customer service. Totally recommend them.

The most honest repair shop I have ever done business with. You will not be disappointed. Greg and staff are extremely knowledgeable. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Village European Auto was referred to us by our contractor on our home, Kendall Construction. Greg , the owner and his crew and great guys. Very honorable, knowledgeable, They have done a number of things with our different cars - GL 2009 and E320 - 2006. The most difficult was helping us get it smogged after other work done on it, but they stood by us through that process. We will always refer people to them. We give them high 5's and big thank you's!!!! Ruth N. read more

Pre-purchase vehicle inspection: I was purchasing a car from out of town and needed a reputable local shop to inspect it beforehand. Sales rep. Giovanni from local Titanium Motors was kind enough to take the vehicle to Village European Auto for the inspection without me having to make the hour+ drive. Greg with Village was very helpful and knowledgeable and even test drove the vehicle himself before he signed-off on it! His evaluations were also thorough and honest. In the end I was able to purchase a great pre-owned car and feel confident about driving it home. Thanks again Greg! read more

When we moved to Fallbrook we took our cars to a variety of places for service and just never had a good feeling about what we were being told (in some cases, sold). One day we went in to Scrappy's Tire Service to buy some tires and I asked Steve if he had any recommendations. With a smile he recommended Village European Auto and told me how to get there. We have never been anywhere else since then. Greg is someone I truly admire and not just for his skills, knowledge, and abilities. He and Matt and their employees maintain integrity that is above reproach in everything they do. They have performed miracles on a 1997 Mercedes S 420. It had a problem for which no one had been able to determine the cause. They persisted and just kept working on it until they discovered and fixed the issue. They have been generous to a fault, cheerful at every turn, and allow me to send my wife in there with her car knowing that she will be told the truth in terms she can understand and respond to. It is a wonderful feeling. In fact, that feeling is priceless! You won't find inappropriate reading material in their shop nor do you hear inappropriate language. It is a place you can take your children into and know they they will be comfortable. The value of that alone is worth the price of admission. The really good news is that they will all outlive me so I will have a trusted group of mechanics available to me for the rest of my life. :) Village European Auto is a ten star operation in a five star world. read more

After living out of the country for a few years my beloved Volkswagen had multiple issues from the mice around our home which was just too much for me to fix myself. I took it into European auto and they sorted everything out for me. What I appreciate is they didn't just throw parts at it and charge me. They actually took their time and troubleshoot the issue instead of just charging you for parts that "might" fix the issue. I trust Greg and his team with my car in the future to get me sorted out. Thanks Greg & Scott. Also keep in mind despite being called European auto this place will help out on domestics or imports. read more

Fixed some issues in our Toyota that the dealership wanted to charge a lot more for. Don't be afraid to take your Chevy or Toyota there . Greg took great care of our cars read more

The Best of the The Best!!! My family and I have been loyal customers of Greg's for many years, and will continue to be for as long as they are in business in Fallbrook. Greg, Matt, Chris and the rest of the team always take excellent care of our cars for a fair price. We trust them completely and know that we won't be disappointed. I encourage anyone looking for honest mechanics to trust their cars to Village European Auto...you will not be disappointed. read more

Greg and his team are second to none. Having serviced five of my cars perfectly over the past 15 plus years I canot speak highly enough regarding all aspects of perfect care provided. Greg takes the time to both explain the serviving required as well insuring that it is carried out at the highest level possible. I recommend his bussiness. read more

Greg, owner of Village European Auto always gives me excellent service, fair prices, and good advice for my aging Toyota Camry. :) We are imports from the Midwest, and I must admit I was concerned about finding a good, reasonably priced auto repair service in the "Sunshine State," but I was pleasantly surprised to find Greg's "Village European Auto Shop," within a month living here in Fallbrook! read more

Greg and crew are the best, fast, fair, reliable service always with a friendly greeting. Greg has gone out of his way to provide the best service. When I had an electrical issue with my wife's Chrysler Crossfire (a hybrid between a Mercedes drive train and a Chrysler body) that neither Chrysler or Mercedes would service or even touch, Greg and crew went way out of their way to solve the problem. Thanks Greg for your always A1 service. read more

A great Fallbrook company. 4 times I have taken a car in with concerns, and had them quickly check out - without charging. Very different than so many places that charge you to look at your car then give you a huge estimate for repairs - many basic tune up items. They have referred me to other Fallbrook businesses in two cases to resolve issues, rather than trying to charge me. Once, I had a battery issue and they sent me to BP (another great business) who fixed a connection issue - neither company charged me. Village could have sold me a battery and service to fix a minor issue. Very good service. Since they treated me so well, I took in my Corolla for a clutch replacement. They did it timely, and for less than originally quoted. Car is reaching 300k miles so they did a great job. read more

Village Euro did a pre-purchase inspection for me and they went above and beyond! Not only did they do the expected of checking everything under the hood, but they also tested various aspects of the interior and exterior that I wouldn't found it myself. read more

Absolutely hate it when warning lights come on, since I have no clue what it all actually means. Village European Auto has twice come to my rescue. While back on the #5 near San Clemente, warning lights come on. Pull over, call Village European Auto. Matt walks me through it, assures me it is safe to drive to them & they will wait till I get there. Of course it is rush hour, get to them after 5 pm. So grateful that they waited for me & fixed the problem. Second time I am in town, lights come on, drive again to Village European Auto, without calling first. Greg greets me, asks what's up. Fixes the problem right away & off I go. Greg, Matt & their team is the absolute very best in customer service & in their ability to quickly access a problem & fix the problem. Thank you ever so much for being there!! read more

Great place. Greg lived up to the reviews. Greg was very friendly and had my car done the same day, no hidden fees. I recommend this place for all your car needs read more

Greg and his team at Village European Automotive are friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and unfailingly honest. They do ONLY the work that needs to be done on your car, explain everything patiently, answer questions directly, and are very fair with their pricing. It's not easy to find an honest, reliable garage that is ALWAYS focused on their clients. Yet that's exactly what Greg and his team do. Their approach seems to be that if they take stellar care of their clients, the business will take care of itself. I trust Greg and the VEA team with my car and you can too. These guys are worth their weight in gold and I can't say enough good things about their business; simply the very best at taking caring of people and their cars. read more

WOWWW!!! I just got my 2007 Civic back from this place and I'm sitting in my driveway writing this review immediately because I could not believe how EXCELLENT this place is!! I was back in town visiting my mom and went out on a limb when I showed up at Village European Auto with no appointment first thing this morning and asked if they could fix my AC/heater, which has been non-functioning for 4 years (I've had to keep smacking under the glove box just to get it to turn on for at least 4 years now) and it's been slowly getting worse and worse. It finally completely broke about 6 months ago. I have to drive back to SF tomorrow and knew it might be a total stretch to get it done today. Not only did they get it done, but they truly went above and beyond. They didn't charge any nonsense diagnostic fee, quickly tested my AC and determined the issue, and they ordered me a new motor from San Diego and it arrived within hours. They charged me for just an hour of labor, replaced my blower motor thus fixing my AC, rotated my tires free of charge (they asked if I needed anything done while I was here and I said I was going to swing by Discount Tire within the week to get a free rotation, but Village European volunteered to do it for free while it was in their shop anyways), and Greg himself gave me a ride to and from the shop so I didn't have to walk two miles home and back. I didn't know businesses like this still existed. Really, I thought this type of high-quality customer service was long gone, but what an honest, honest place full of wonderful employees!! Absolutely no gimmicks or bullsh*t, just a bunch of excellent mechanics who know how to run a business. My ONLY "critique" is that the name is misleading and I can see how someone might think maybe they shouldn't take their car here if it's an Asian or American car. They definitely do all kinds of cars, not just European. Like I said, I have a Civic and I saw plenty of other car makes in their shop. Please, take your business to these guys. They deserve it more than anyone else and you will not be disappointed with the quality of service!! $160 out the door and NO diagnostic fee. Totally reasonable considering other places were estimating to charge over $200, including a diagnostic fee! I don't think anyone else would have been so accommodating either. read more
