Very nice shop that took over the old Miyabi location. Had to go in to get screws for my license plate holder as the auto body shop who fixed my car took off my plates and didn't put them back on. They really had great service and ended up going out of their way to find me these screws. A lot of work for two little screws and it was much appreciated. read more

Worst customer service on Apr 12, 2025: The clerk at the counter was very aloof and non responsive. I asked for the windshield wiper for my car and he fiddled around for a couple minutes and then took a call, aborting my request. After more than ten minutes in the back, I bailed and went to Reilly and got help from a very nice clerk. I will NEVER go in Napa again!! read more

My oil light came on as I was leaving a meeting in Encinitas today, so I stopped in to buy a couple of containers of oil. While there, I also purchased some new windshield wipers since mine were causing streaks. There was a nice lady who looked up the type of oil my car required and then Rigo rang me up. When I asked him if he could assist me in putting the new wipers on, he didn't hesitate. We went out to my car to put the wipers on and he also put the oil in my car. Rigo was very friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely come back to this Napa location for auto parts since they appear to have great customer service. read more

Now I don't usually leave reviews for stores as such but this time I just had to. I know nothing about cars but knew I needed a new windshield wiper and brake light bulb. It's a small store but has everything you need. I was staring at the windshield wipers thinking I knew what I needed but obviously didn't once one of the employees asked if I needed help. He looked up the parts I needed and I was in and out of there within 5 minutes. To make it better, he even offered to help me put my windshield wiper on and I was so happy he offered/did it. I had looked up videos before coming to see how complicated it would be but the employee simply snapped it on and I was on my way! I usually go to oreilly for auto parts but definitely will start coming here instead. 5 stars for the great customer service, cheap prices, and the convenience from the highway. I purchased an oil filter and instead of giving me 21348 they gave me 21358. Long story short almost blew up my entire engine because 21358 fit and threaded in and felt tight. But not enough. Oil leaked everywhere until I had none left and my oil pressure light came on. I got reimbursed for the SECOND set of oil and SECOND filter I bought. However for all the headache that happened from this experience, definitely never going back. LOL. If you do purchase an oil filter make sure you double check the part number!! read more

Asked for oil in a certain size/type. Waited 5 minutes why the guy figured it out. He asked his colleagues, he played with the computer. Eventually he typed something in to one keyboard, looked at me and said "it will be here tomorrow first thing". "You ordered it?" I said. "Yes" he said. Not ideal but a trip to other auto parts stores who also didn't have it confirmed that was a good as it was going to get, so next day I went back. First thing. Apparently I misunderstood. "it will be here tomorrow", actually means "i don't know what the hell I am doing; what I meant was I will ask my colleague to make a change to the computer tomorrow so I can order it". Silly of me, those 2 messages are easily misunderstood. Thanks for wasting my morning. read more

The parts here are way over-priced. Service is mediocre, as the clerks don't seem to be totally knowledegable about what they sell. One time as I was asking a woman clerk a question, she answered the phone and cut me off mid-sentence. Serve the patrons in the store and act as tho you appreciate their business - this was completely rude! Check out Rock Auto on-line - you generally can get the identical part 40% or more cheaper. Napa is a rip-off! Also, they sell their Napa line of oil filters - they are merely over-priced Wix filters. Go to O'Reilly to get the same Wix filter at a cheaper price. The Napa quality is no better than the big discounters - I bought brake shoes under the Napa name and they were cheap Chinese junk. There were no other customers in the store at the time. Finally a woman asked if I needed help and I said yes, she walked past me to another computer started working and never said another word to me. Solid staff..friendly, informed (compared to other NAPA stores) and knows their parts. Helped find and ID parts for 1969 Chevelle SS396 restoration which is not your everyday car. I came in today to the Encinitas office, hoping to buy a few thousand dollars worth of product but was EXTREMELY disappointed. The staff was rude, lazy, and unhelpful. Someone had been waiting in front of me when I had arrived, and I waited at least 20 minutes before I left. I asked "Jason" the man in the Red shirt if somebody else could assist us. There were at least 5 other employees in plain sight not assisting a customer. He said that no one could assist us because they were busy too busy "counting." COMPLETELY ABSURD. You have a line of people at your store to buy your inventory and you have us waiting in line with your rude service? Jason was not even in the slightest bit humble or apologetic about the situation. He was barking orders at his team members that made us all customers very uncomfortable. He also let the phones ring and didn't answer them or let anyone else answer. I am completely appalled by the service and experience. I have already written a letter to the corporate offices and to the city of Encinitas, as well as the better business bureau. Practice better customer service and train and hire people that are working efficiently. As of now, your employees at the Encinitas locations, especially Jason, are a poor model of your business. I walk into the store and am the only customer. One employee is on the phone and the fat woman is at the register, fooling around with the computer. Neither acknowledge me or even make eye contact. So I wait, assuming they'll wrap up whatever they're doing to assist me. The guy gets off the phone, but it rings again and he answers it. The woman doesn't do a thing and remains engaged at the register. I wait about 5 minutes and then walk out - not one word to me from either employee. That was the last time I will go to Napa - reading these reviews, this lack of service is part of this store's reputation. These employees need a lesson in customer relations - they don't seem to give a damn. read more

BEWARE...this Napa is privately owned so they charge 4% more on all purchases than any other Napa. I went to them with a simple request for a part which they said would be in the following day...a week later they finally called. After realizing they sold me the wrong part, I went to return it at a Napa closer to where I live and found out that they could only give me the amount back that they charge for the part...which ended up being 4% less than I initially paid. read more
