    Went to look at this car . Got to the lot and was told the car was just in its way to the Orange County lot but could bring it back - The sales guy called and confirmed it was en route but if we started paperwork to show committed to buy would bring it back - I told them we could start the paperwork but would not commit until test drive - was told the were going to bring it back for us - the sales guy pulls the paperwork for the car and says the car is $16000 in their system - I show them this ad where the car is listed just over $13000 - he took a picture of the ad and went into the back room and mysteriously the car just sold and we could look at something else - walked out disgusted !

    They had exactly what I was looking for. Took minimal haggling to make a deal. Only complaint it i wish there was a little more attention made to detailing my new/used truck.

    I bought my truck from this dealer in 2021 and got an incredible deal (during COVID). Ever since, they have been have been sending letters and emails about buying my truck back. A couple weeks ago they began calling... I made an appointment to see what they would offer me. I expressed an interest in the bronco and went on a few test drives while they assessed my truck... After the test drives I made my way back to the dealer floor to look at numbers and they completely low balled the trade in value of my truck. I'm talking kbb poor condition trade in value. Btw - I have a pretty nice F150... it was a Ken Grody custom... I was completely insulted and they knew it. In addition, they are trying to sell me a 2025 bronco (it's the end of the year) at MSRP with no negotiating .. are you kidding me? The truck is basically last year's model. To treat a past customer like a total sucker is ridiculous. They completely wasted my time and now they are repeatedly calling me to return to the dealership...I'm never going back here...

    I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with the exceptional salesperson I had the pleasure of working with at Ken Grody Ford in Carlsbad. I originally visited the dealership after speaking with another representative over the phone about a vehicle I found online. However, upon arrival, my initial interaction with a different salesperson was disappointing, and I felt frustrated enough to head back to my car, ready to leave. That's when another salesman, Rambo, approached me and kindly asked if everything was okay and if he could help in any way. Even though I was upset, his genuine concern and professionalism stood out immediately. He encouraged me to give him a chance to help, apologized for my earlier experience, and reassured me that he would do everything he could to make things right. I decided to stay--and I'm so glad I did. From that moment forward, Rambo provided outstanding customer service. Over the next couple of weeks, he consistently went above and beyond to answer my many questions. He was always responsive, sending photos and videos of different vehicles, and making sure I had all the information I needed to make the right decision.     My experience at this ford definitely surpassed my experience at other ford dealerships! Kevin Vera helped me buy my dream car, he was not pushy and made the process seamless. I came in the first time to look at a car and trade in my car. Kevin was realistic but nice about my trade in value. The upper management tried to convince me to lease a car when I did not want to, but they were not as pushy as other ford dealerships. When I told them no they respected that. The second time I came in, I knew what car I wanted so Kevin Vera had me sign all the paperwork online and talk to the financial department about warranty and my monthly payment over the phone before I came in. The process was quick. Once I came in to test drive the car, and I liked the car, I just paid my deposit and was ready to go. I highly recommend coming to this ford over the others around the area, such as Escondido and poway. And make sure to ask for Kevin Vera he will help you get the car of your dreams!

    Less than a month after buying my Explorer, I noticed an empty Ford OEM alarm box underneath the driver's seat. I also noticed a non functioning LED light above the steering wheel. I decided to take the panel off that was underneath the dash and I located the alarm "brain" and saw that the non functioning light was plugged into it. After reading the instructions that were in the box, I realized that one final step needed to be done to activate the alarm and it could only be done by the dealer. I spoke with Greg Ryan and he told me to bring the Explorer in and have the techs look at it. When I pointed out the missing step to activate the alarm, they took my vehicle to the back, performed the step, and voila! I now have a functioning alarm light and shock sensor. Thanks guys for the help! I look forward to returning soon.

Anyways, I arrived and told them I scheduled a service but I am like 25 minutes late. The guy said, it would take about 1hr 20 mins, probably sooner because nobody was doing any service at the time. 1] Took about an hour 2] Friendly guy at the front-desk 3] I stayed in the waiting area, doing work, so time went by fast.     I had a very good BUYING experience at this dealership but the attempted SELLING experience was…read moreterrible. After buying a new truck, the used car guy wanted to buy my old truck. I described it in great detail and told him about all issues (included several dents). He offered $10K but I knew the trade-in value was closer to $13K or $14K. I told him I would take $11K for a quick and easy transaction and he agreed. He said he did not need to see the vehicle based on my disclosures and that I could just bring it when I was coming the next day to pick up the new truck. When I came the next day, I was told that the used car guy was off but I should leave the old truck and could I come back on Tuesday with the title and to get my check for $11K. When I came on Tuesday afternoon, the games began. I was told the dents were bigger than they thought and they could only give me $10K. I argued that a deal was a deal and that I needed $11K. They went up to $10.5K and then even up to $10.7K but would not honor the deal for $11K. I told them at that point (after wasting another 1+ hours of my time) that it was not even about the money, it was about principle. I took the truck home and sold it the next morning to an independent dealer for $12.6K. The point of this review is a warning to others that in my opinion and based on my experience, the used car dept of this dealership is not reputable and if you attempt to sell them a car be very careful.

Albert Einstein Some background info: I hate being hot. Price is no object in my quest to stay cool. Bought a townhouse near the ocean and replaced all the windows with double pane low-E glass which keeps out heat in the summer. When I bought my car it had no tint and I got hot when the sun shined on me through the windows. I put very light Greystone CR 70 grade tint on the front 2 windows and I only got warm when the sun hit me. The back 3 windows had Greystone CR 40 grade tint which was limo dark and sitting back there you could barely feel the sun. The problem with my Civic is the front windshield is huge and sloped so a ton of sunlight hits the dashboard and me so often I got hot from sunlight coming through the windshield. Last year I was driving to Palm Springs alot and was getting really hot even with the AC set to maximum. I did research on the net and found out 3M had released a Crystalline series of window tint which had the highest heat rejection rating I had ever seen. Cut to now: It's summer. I'm getting hot driving around. I call SD Motorsports and they squeeze me in at the last minute for a early morning appointment. 2 hours and $350 later my front windshield is tinted with 3M Crystalline CR 70 grade tint. They did an excellent job on the install. Looking through the windshield is much like looking through the front side windows. The heat rejection is about the same as sitting in the backseat behind the Greystone CR 40 limo grade tint. To summarize: 3M Crystalline tint is expensive and does an excellent job keeping me and my car cool. SD Motorsports provided excellent customer service and did a great job tinting my windshield.
