On each occasion over the years I have always been helped by a brand new employee. It's very frustrating as I simply want to get my new phone and get out of there. Instead I have to sit and wait while the employee asks the manager questions every step of the way. What should take a few minutes takes much longer as the employee is being coached through the process. Two employees helping one customer EVERY time I come in. I think the employees should 100% know how to do a phone upgrade or exchange. I don't appreciate my time being used for training purposes. I probably will avoid this store from now on. This store needs to become a corporate location. The franchised standards at this location are horrible.

He became increasingly creepy as their interaction progressed. He locked the front door, and had my sister go sit in a back room. He had both of her phones (old and new). He became more and more sexual, asking her out and trapping her in an employees only room in the back. She had to fake laugh and fawn her way out of there. It was absolutely traumatizing! She had to return this Sunday to turn over her old phone and was afraid to go alone. Corporate and the police have been notified, and after all this the store manager will not call her back after multiple attempts to contact. The employees refuse to call their manager or give out her (Megan apparently) phone number. The creep IS STILL WORKING THERE! Verizon seems to be completely unconcerned for the safety of their customers. We're definitely switching carriers.

iPhone repair shops are like dating after a tough break up = everything sounds good over the phone…read moreor online, you're excited and eager to connect, but once you meet face to face, you quickly realize you've been duped. Such is the case here - over the phone I was told to come by and show them my busted up iPad and was assured that whatever the issue was, they could fix it. Fast forward an hour later, (it literally took me 15 minutes of driving and walking back and forth on the street to find this place as it's basically a rented room at the top of a staircase of a commercial building), I was informed that my iPad is dead and that it should be used as a coaster or paperweight. Look, I understand a car mechanic cannot accurately diagnose a vehicle electronically or telephonically as accurately as they can if they can see the car in person and of course when it comes to an iPad with a cracked screen and water damage that won't power on, it would be ideal for a repair person to physically inspect it before diagnosing the issue so please don't tell me over the phone that you can fix something and then smugly state that it's beyond repair. Also, I appreciate that you want to keep your overhead low but FFS don't do business out of what is basically a bedroom with shit everywhere and a dog sitting around begging to be anywhere but there. This place is super inconvenient to get to with a super unprofessional "store" and super creepy vibes. All said, I disagreed with Sheldon's diagnosis so decided to call A to Z Wireless (which coincidentally enough is right down the street in an easy to see and enter store) and while no promises were made over the phone or in person, the owner fixed my iPad and is now working just as it did before I dropped it in a jacuzzi. So yeah...don't recommend this dude at all but highly recommend A to Z. Enjoy.

I worked with Darlene R. on the original setup and purchase, but was overcharged by more than $200.00. I am working with Cricket customer service to get this corrected. Darlene becomes easily upset and somewhat aggressive. Rather than allowing me to explain my position calmly, she raised her voice, continually talked over me, and even requested that I leave the store, threatening to call the police, and mocked me when I called Cricket customer service on a Sunday, saying 'Ha, they're closed on Sunday, now get out before I call the police.' I asked when her supervisor would next be working, but she said she did not know and refused to provide any further information. My only intention upon visiting the Cricket store was to establish a family plan with two lines to start, and at least one more in the near future. I was charged two activation fees for a family plan with two lines on one plan; this is incorrect. In addition, I was supposed to receive a free phone as a new customer coming over from Verizon, but I was charged over $150.00 for the phone alone. Darlene specifically stated that I was given a free charger (among other things), yet I was charged $49.99. She also claimed to have given me a great deal on the two phone cases, but it was only a ten percent discount, and I was charged the balance. By the time I left the Cricket store, I had been charged nearly $700 for a new family plan with two lines. I would have purchased the cases, protective glass, installation, and chargers elsewhere for a much lower price and better service. I refuse to engage in a cat-and-mouse game to track down and speak with the store supervisor, since Darlene claimed she did not know when he would be working next. I have been in contact with Cricket Customer Care on several occasions and have been advised to contact them while in the store, so they can work with the supervisor to facilitate a refund. Cricket Customer Care has fully agreed that I was overcharged and entitled to a refund. This is a very unfortunate situation, as I now must weigh the options of continuing as a Cricket customer, but this is certainly not what I signed up for!
