This is the third Friday I have walked in, inquiring about my privacy screen to be replaced. And they are out of stock. I'm happy I asked this time before waiting in a 40 minute line. Daniela helped me and she was really nice. I asked her when she was going to get the privacy screen in stock... I explained to her this is my third time walking in. She communicated that she was uninformed when they would get them in, or if they will, because of the new iPhone launch/pre-order. So their store is currently busy with pre-orders for the new iPhone. -She doesn't know when they're gonna get them in -She can't refer me to another store to let me know if they have them in stock -They can order it for me, have it shipped to my home, then I can come in the store and have them apply it on my phone. This is the only solution. I asked if she was able to do that for me , she said yes. There is about six or seven people in front of me just for her to put in an order for my privacy shield. It would take about 40 to 45 minutes. I'll have to come back, my lunch break is only 30 mins. I must admit I'm very disappointed with T-Mobile customer service. It seems like they're making it almost impossible for customers be able to have the flexibility to just come in and out. Everything is online. Last time I made time to come in I wasted 40 mins just for them to realize they didn't have it in stock. It's always a one hour wait for a five minute job. read more

The amazing part was our 'Mobile Expert' guy, Andre. He was thorough, informed, helpful, and best of all, he laid out our plan in a quick and efficient manner. He then transfered our data easily with the new systems that are in place now, put glass screens on, then we picked out non-yellowing kickstand covers for the phones. Andre got this all done with a cheerful and super nice personality. It was a great experience in a time when these kinds of things can be tedious. We went to T-Mobile since our phones desperately needed to be upgraded. We walked out with a sweet plan that gave us two new iPhones, kickstand covers for them, and a FREE Samsung tablet. Also included were a bunch of other apps and free stuff to make life easier. * I loved that a DoorDash subscription was included since I use that food and retail delivery service a lot. TL;DR The salesmen gave me deceptive, inaccurate pricing based on my public educators' discount. Because all transactions were done on an iPad with partial screens, I had to sign up without the ability to review the whole contract and terms which were not provided to me until after everything was paid for and signed via email. After the fact, they did not honor the discount nor take steps to correct this action when requested. Details: On 11/24/23, I inquired about switching from Metro to T Mobile because I wanted international access for my phones. I was assisted by Josue Carillo who sold me on the transition based on the use a data plan that works in Mexico and Europe for an approximate price of $185/month for 5 lines after my public educator discount was applied. He stated that I would have to start at full price and then call a number to register my proof of employment as a public educator. He then stated that it would take a billing cycle or two to see the discount. (Per Service Terms, this timeline places me outside of the 30-day opt-out period.) He also applied an auto-pay discount. He then upsold us to buy two Apple Watches essentially for free if we added phone lines for the watches. During this process, I was reliant on the verbal explanation of prices because all of the "paperwork" was done piecemeal on an iPad without the ability to review the full contract and terms. Against my better judgment, I signed up. I did not receive my contract until after the full transaction was complete electronically. When I called the discount line, the service representative told me that I would not qualify because I could not "stack" multiple discounts. When I explained that this was not disclosed to me by the salesperson, they did not offer me options for resolution. On 5/18/24, I physically went into the store and spoke to Sebastian Andrade and summarized the above. He stated that he would review with the manager. I was never given an opportunity to speak directly with the manager. Sebastian told me that the manager would research and email me within two weeks. This never occurred. My experience at this location has been more bad than good. There are a few who will help and then there are the knes that dont have a clue. My last visit cost me more than what is was worth in time and money and i still dont have a phone based on how they processed the order. A sales rep cannot undo another sales rep job. They dont call to other stores to see if they may have what your looking for. No resources or guidance on anything if it out of their knowledge. There is no manager on site to reslove issues. Very poor customer service. My Dad was having issues with his phone so I told him to bring it to the nearest Tmobile store since all of his incoming calls goes straight to voicemail. My Dad told me the girl at Tmobile just took out the SIM card and place it back in, then inform him he needs to upgrade his phone. No sense of knowledge in troubleshoot phones and expects people to just buy a new phone when their current one no longer functions. We came in today Tuesday, sep 24 looking to purchase a new iPhone and the worker who was helping us asked his colleague if there were any iPhone 15s in stock and that worker confidently said yes without even checking. We then had to come back an hour later because one of the settings on our phone had to be turned off before purchasing a new one. When we came back the worker who told us they had the phone in stock made us wait another 20 mins before he told us he made a mistake and they don't have the phone. What a waste of our night! A few words to describe the customer service at this location. Inferior, mediocre, disappointing, and regrettable. This is just describing the sales reps customer support/service. The management is on an entirely different level of unacceptable. To be told while entering a store 30 minutes before closing that they were not going to back up the device, they were not going to activate the device, and didn't even give a choice in color. We came back a few days later device untouched and were required to pay a service fee for color change, amongst the horrific attitudes displayed, the wait times are horrendous. I would not recommend the store to anyone with an expectation of customer service being higher than a 1 star. read more

Came in today just to learn that I was drastically overpaying on my phone bill (single plan at a staggering $300). I immediately met with Anthony and he was able to spot everything out and got me situated with my proper bill. Jessica also helped me out today, she was able to get me a new screen protector as well as ordered me a privacy one since no store had any of them in stock. Overall an AMAZING experience I will be ONLY coming to this location. Also Jose was a new person training and he was absolutely nice and made sure that everything was going great for me. This store is a joke. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced with a business. The employees seem to be more concerned with getting out of there right on the dot of closing time rather than fulfilling excellent customer service especially when we have been waiting almost two hours between two stores. We went to another location in Oceanside and waited an hour, told the employee Craig that we wanted a certain phone to purchase which they said they had and then once they call to help us it's "ohh, we just sold the last one right now" .. with a smirk on his face then calls up this location and asks for the phone stock which they said they had. So he said they put it on hold for us and we drove 25 minutes to get to this store and arrived at 5:10 and the store closes at 6. The first thing the smart a** employee says ( female didn't get her name ) was just so you know we can't help you with any phone transfers right now due to the time ... we said whatever just take care of getting us the phone .. then we waited 25 minutes and this flamer helps us and proceeded to start some BS and asks has this phone you're trading in ever been repaired or worked on ? No it has not , it's been in a case since the second it came out of the original box purchased at T Mobile three years prior. He says oh it seems your phone as unknown parts in it !! WHAT??? You're serious right now ? Lmao... scammers. This phone has never had one single issue and now you're going to tell me it has unknown parts in it and I can't trade it in .. so they end up discussing it with employees since we had insurance on the phone and says okay we will do it for you with a rude tone ... then he asks my wife to see something on her phone and then opens up the menu and turns her find my iPhone off and tries to turn it back on unsuccessfully.. then he looks at us nervously and says ohhhh you know what it seems like your find my iPhone is off and needs to turn back on but it takes an hour to do so we won't be able to continue with your trade in because we are closing soon... EXCUSE ME ??? So because you turned off the feature and tried to pass it onto us as our problem it's our fault ? Unreal .. such poor service. I've been a customer of t mobile for 15 years I even used to work for them as a manager and we would never treat a client that way .. we literally stayed hours after closing to make deals happen for people but it seems like that type of customer service is nonexistent anymore .. ridiculous.. don't waste your time here if it's close to closing you're only going to get screwed with and pissed off. read more

Don't trust TMOBILE I purchased a new phone 3 years ago and was offered a samsung watch. T-Mo/sprint paired my watch to my phone and I was on my way. they had set up a plan so the watch would work independently without the phone. I was never notified of this and they have been charging me $10 a month for the plan. I never once used data because they did not fulfill their part of the contract and failed to actually set up the phone line for the watch, but have been charging me for over 3 years at $10 a month. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. My wife and I went in to get her a new phone. same deal, they talked her into a new watch as well with an independent line for it. I thought it would be cool to set up my watch so I can just leave it at my desk and walk away from my phone from time to time. I was then notified that i did have a plan for the watch but that it was never activated by them. the rep assured my wife that we would get the money back spent on the plan which was over $360.00 but now the upper management is failing to take responsibility for their failure to follow through on a contract . T-Mo failed to set up the watch plan and now they tell me that my phone cant be set up on the existing line and that I have 2 choices. They can cancel the line and set it up as new and give me 100.00 dollar credit or sell me a new watch at 50% and get that one set up instead. I've been paying for a plan that never worked due to their lack of follow through and assuring that my plan was set up correctly. T-MOBILE HAS BEEN RIPPING ME OFF FOR OVER 3 YEARS! read more

Came in this morning because I thought I was paying a lot for a plan I didn't make much use of. Jessica helped me and, man, she was so pleasant, helpful and went above-and-beyond. She helped me adjust my plan, reset and sync-up my Apple watch and (without me asking) even got me compensated for the extra things I wasn't using but was paying for on my old plan. I honestly dread going to T-Mobile with my iPhone or to get an iPhone, but I found this company store, and it was a perfect experience. I was going to observe and look for Jessica or Ann or someone that seemed smart. Well, 4 guys, so not those previously recommended, and I was greeted right away so down to business. I was immediately at ease. The handling of my two needs was handled perfectly. First I needed to add a second e-sim to my iPhone 14 and transfer a number from Digits to the new line. It was so smooth and I did not have to worry at all. They had to move the number to a new line, then install an e-sim, then connect the number to the new sim. Now I can have a clear personal number and work number on the same phone without the limits of using only Digits. The second issue was a dear party on my account that likes to lose phones. We quickly replaced the old phone and set it up. Not a moment wasted and I was as comfortable as being at the Apple store. This store is definitely my choice if I need to go to T-Mobile. Manager asked for my address to "check wireless coverage" but actually he soft pulled my credit, shady. I mean if you're gonna do it then say it. Acting like we don't all have real time credit monitoring alerts now a days.. I keep my credit locked and unlock when I actually request a check, so after this no hit/fail (not sure how it's displayed on him system) guys attitude completely went negative like my questions were all just a burden. Which, I mean, bummer for him because I'm not even close to done with my upgrades and fleet services for the crews. I strictly go to this location to see Janet and always ask specifically for her. She is fabulous! She is efficient, extremely knowledgeable, and straight forward. I used to dread going to the cell phone store because a seemingly quick appointment always used to take over an hour but not with Janet. She is quick and to the point and doesn't spend hours going over unimportant details. She maintains professionalism and is always kind and helpful. As a side note, I was in this location on 8/1/23 around 2 pm and I noticed that every single employee was friendly, engaged and working hard as the location was very busy at that time. They were blasting spanish music so loud you could barely hear. Only one of them turned their head at me literally rolled their eyes and said well be with you in a minute. then proceeded to lean against the counter and go on their phone then the other 3 workers took turns to look at me and go back to their conversation completely ignoring me even though there was only one customer!!! i came in to buy 4 brand new phones and now will never be coming back. these are the laziest most incompetent workers i've ever seen. T-mobile deserves better representation. Wow where to begin, my name is Matthew and I've been with T-Mobile for about 4-5 years. I've never really had issues with them until now. So, on March 4th 2024 I contacted T-Mobile services regarding my data being slow. As they were trying to help me I was also discussing that I've been wanting to upgrade my phone and they told me for being "loyal/valuable" customer I was qualified for a promotion they had going. The promotion was if I turned in my perfectly great condition iPhone 11 in I would get $830 dollars credit for a new phone. So, I said great I would love to do that, as they helped me with my data and made me go through all the proper steps of making it "work again". I contacted them again on March 5th 2024 about the promotion that they offered. Since it was the 5th of the month the new billing cycle came out and I sign up for "payment arrangements" is what they offer on the T-Mobile app. They were telling me I was no longer eligible because the new billing cycle came out and I'm on "payment arrangement" which keep in mind that's what they offer. So, I was a little upset that they would get me all exciting with this "promotion" for a "loyal/valuable" customer. Moving forward to March 8th 2024 I'm at work and my data is going ridiculous slow for what I pay for the Magenta plan. The prior month I paid about 158 for my bill so I'm a little upset. I contacted tech support while I'm at work I called starting approximately 4:00pm pacific time. I talk to one Tech support representative and he is trying to help me with turning my cellular data off and going through settings and all the prior steps then trouble shooting my phone. Once I restarted my phone after an hour of going through the steps I realized my phone isn't running any data at all and I can't use anything. So, I contact tech support again and a Tech support representative told me my SIM card is out of date and is no longer compatible with the program they run. So, I'm two and a half hours in with T-Mobile while at my job with no cellular data running. I then ask for a supervisor and stress to him what's going on and I also advised how they were going to give me a promotion and then said they weren't able to anymore. He told me the same thing about my SIM card being out of date and they could send me a new one for free but it will take a couple days. I told him what I'm I suppose to do for a couple days I'm at work for a hospital and I need my phone. Now I'm almost half way through my shift at the hospital trying to figure this out. The supervisor ended up waiving half my bill which was $58.00 which was great. Keep in mind I thought they were going to restore my services so when I hung up the phone I realized my phone was still not working unless I'm on Wi-Fi. I contact T-Mobile again and this time I'm getting names and I.D. numbers. First contact was Tiffany with Tech support representative she ended up transferring me, also these Tech representatives some of them said they didn't have I.D. numbers which I thought was odd (I asked a supervisor later on and they said they do have I.D. numbers). Once Tiffany transferred me I had to hang up because I was dealing with a combative person in the ambulance bay. I called back and waited and got Jane from customer service who transferred me to Tech support representative Elmer. I told Elmer I'm not interested in trouble shooting or anything else but a supervisor. He asked politely if he could try to help so I said ok. He ended up resetting somethings on his end and told me to restart my phone and he would called me back in 5 minutes, he never called back and my phone went into S.O.S. mode for like 5 minutes. I called T-Mobile again and got Tech support representative Miles I asked Miles for a supervisor and that I wasn't interested in anything else but a supervisor. He advised me his supervisor is busy and they could call me back. I told Miles that they could call me back at 10:40pm because I'll be home but right now I'm at work and its 8:00pm my shift is almost over. Miles said ok they will contact you around that time. Around 9:30pm I get a call from T-Mobile Ana tech supervisor I.D. #1390517. I'm pretty upset because I told them to call me later because after dealing with all that nonsense, I'm talking to Ana and trying to change out of my work clothes at the same time expressing all the stressful things I've been going through with T-Mobile and how they were supposed to contact me at this time. I'm frustrated beyond words and then I was almost was late clocking out because I'm talking to T-Mobile at a inconvenience time that I asked them not to call. Of course, Ana says what majority of Supervisors/Tech representatives say and apologize for the inconvenience. At that point I'm sitting in my car late at night after work talking to Ana about how I'm not going to troubleshoot anything or go to my settings because I'm tired of dealing with this and you need to help me some other way. I have lost all faith in Tmobile.. i am actively seeking other carrier quotes so i can finally be done with this company.. so far At&t is winning.. i have had nothing but a bad experience with Tmobile from the moment I signed on at the Oceanside Blvd branch with Ben 2 years ago (since then that location has been shut down, not sure if my review will still show) anyways.. my current issue and the straw that broke the camels back was this... i have 360 protection on both if my iphone devices. I called this location (college) to ask about the process to get a screen repaired.. the young man that took my call(i unfortunately did not get his name) said i had 2 options, "1: to take my device to Tmobile store for repair or 2: to take it to the Apple store for repair, after all, most Iphone clients that end up going to the Tmobile repair shop just end up getting advised to go to Apple since they usually cant repair them there".. this is what this young man told me. Please note he did not ask my name or look up my account to double check anything.. simply asked if i had an Iphone, when i confirmed i do, he said "oh just take it to Apple, we usually can't repair the iphones here anyways".. ok. so the call ended and i was not satisfied with his response as i mentioned i have had previous issues with miscommunication at tmobile. So i dialed 611 to put my mind at ease, now THIS representative DID have my account open and she still suggested the same as the young man had prior (i did not get her name unfortunately i didnt think i would have such issues).. she said to take it to the Apple store as it will be easier for you there.. ok fine, i got 2 confirmations from Tmobile to go to Apple store and fix my phone for the $99 deductible. i leave work EARLY to make it to my appointment at Apple, come to find out my coverage ended, 8 days ago!! Not once was i told this when i called 2 times to confirm all of this!! (They never even looked into my 360 protection plan to give me the correct info, they just assumed i was under the apple care) So i paid total $214 at apple for the stupid screen repair all because i was given the wrong info TWICE.. they called today to "resolve" the issue. i figured they can at least credit me the difference of the deductible i would have paid had i received the correct information from them.. nope. I got $50 dollar credit out of $214 i paid for their mistake.. needless to say, im done with Tmobile.. they really have dropped the ball multiple times.. Tmobile Tuesdays was the only thing that was cool about them, so far the deals have not been as great as when i started 2 years ago.. so yea. Sorry for the long review.
