I came to this store to get new service. I had an official sheet from from T-Mobile with the program I wanted. Somehow after spending two hours, yes two hours with a new person who said she was training, the program written that I gave her was not what she signed me up for. She took my sim card out of my existing phone and did not put it back. Because of the outrageous time I spent doing this and the fact that the program I signed up for wasn't what she did, I cancelled. I am now trying to reinstate my previous phone service. The employees at this location aren't professional. You will spend way too much time with incompetence and a lack of consideration for the customer. Stay away from this location. read more

I was having an issue with getting my service canceled (switched to Verizon). Call center said I needed to go to the store and the other vista store said I had to call the call center. PITA! I wanted an iPhone 16 pro max, iPhone 16 plus for my wife and maybe on an Apple Watch for me. I was the 3rd customer in line so I thought it was going to be a simple purchase (that's what I thought) It was my turn to be helped so the rep told me that I needed to bring the phone I was going to trade in (my moms phone ) which I didn't have with me. Once I got back to the store with my mom's phone I thought I was put back on queue which I wasn't. Then the pro max 256 went out of stock which no one said anything until I over heard a customer being told the 512 gb was only available. I guess the 2 hour wasted was the price I paid for not knowing I needed to bring the phone to trade in. There was another customer that gave the store manager a harder time by trying to get an iPhone upgrade without being an authorized user on the account and I was a "calm customer" patiently waiting on buying 3 devices. I got fed up and just walked out and a few minutes later I got a call from what I am guessing was the same rep. She asked If I was still around I was about to answer yup I'm around but around my house but I said if you don't have the pro max then I'm not going back so she just hug up! not even have a good day and sorry for the inconvenience! Not sure if the rep just saw that I was only going to pay for the taxes on phone and no down payment or just saw me with my sweatpants thinking I wasn't going purchase all 3 devices. I upgrade every single year!! I came all the way from escondido because this tmobile "was" my store to go to but not any more! The inside of the store was clean and the ambiance was very welcoming. The other staff were ready and more than willing to assist Sandra with helping us. T-Mobile - Mobile Phones Near Me - Vista, California

My son wanted to upgrade his google phone to the new iPhone 15. We visited THIS location 11-4-23 and due to the wait in store we were able to purchase the phone on line (in order to save time) and were able to wait the required "15 min safe time" whatever that means to puck up the new iPhone purchase iPods and have his google phone inspected for the trade in. It was suggested by the salesman to transfer info from one phone to the other by my son and return the google phone when convenient within 14 days. Transfer complete and I revisited this location to make the trade. I was greeted by Daniela and I explained the reason for my visit and she proceeded to tell me she could NOT accept the google phone as a trade in because it was "damaged". She suggested to take it in for repair then bring it back for the trade in. The camera that she incorrectly claimed was damaged was in fact a "protector". Why is it "sales people" are only willing to help customers that have cash to spend to put money in their pockets? The google phone was in fact NOT damaged and after speaking with T-Mobile customer service was on the phone they confirmed the store was WRONG to assume the worse and NOT take the google phone for the trade in upgrade. I suggest any customers visiting this location to reconsider and visit another close by location that have staff that are more educated on phones and what is an aftermarket purchase to avoid waste of time. read more

The Store - I originally ordered our phones at the Escondido T-Mobile store but seeing Vista was the only location in North Country that had the phone I wanted in stock we had to pick it up here. Maria took the call and kept out phones safe and secure from other sales people on the floor. When we arrived to pick up our phones it was Maria that checked us in and assured us everything was in order. T-Mobile cell coverage - So far, this is a lot better than Sprint. The service coverage is a lot better than Sprint which was a huge factor for someone that's out and about as much as we are. The one weakness is the power of the signal inside buildings. read more

I confess I've been unfaithful. I cheat on Verizon with T-Mobile. Because T-Mobile makes it so easy with unlimited data and texting in 210 countries. This location is closest to my home plus and there's always somewhere to park so when I need to go into a store, this is the one I frequent the most. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Like most phone stores, there's usually a wait. But it's never more than 10 minutes. I came in on Black Friday to buy my youngest son a new phone for Christmas. I was helped by Ryan and David, both were super friendly and helpful. But to get the "up to $750 refund" they only accepted a trade-in of an iPhone 6 or higher. Total bummer because we have a 5s. So I couldn't get the refund deal. :( read more

I'm disappointed with the misleading experience I've had at this location. I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile in January. I was considering the switch because of their competitive pricing and claims to great signal. I was lured by their lower monthly service charges, then I was completely sold when the associate at this store who helped me told me that based on their current promotions and my trade-in, I would be qualified for a FREE IPhone XR. I was told that the discount would be applied to the full device payment over 36-months. Then, when I got my first bill I noticed that I was billed for the full device payment. I called T-Mobile's customer service line and they said they it didn't appear that any promotion was applied to my account. They also said that they weren't aware of a promotion that would've gotten me a free iPhone XR so they recommended I go into the store to clear things up. I went into the store and the associate that helped me had trouble figuring out what promotion(s) were applied, but after a few minutes he confirmed that there was a promotion applied that would discount the full device balance, it was just going to take a 2-3 billing cycles to reflect on my account. This month I noticed that a discount is now being applied to the device payment portion of my bill, however it is only about 1/3 of the device payment portion ($7.81/$20.84). I called their customer service number and they insisted that there was no promotion that would wipe out the full device payment. Again, they recommended I go into the store that helped me to clear things up. I called the store directly and was told to come into the store since they can't do much over the phone. It's extremely disappointing that I have to make time to come into this store again to fix something that 1) should've have been a problem to begin with and 2) was supposedly resolved last time I went in. To make things more inconvenient, the signal is less consistent than Verizon, especially within the Vista Business Park area, which makes it difficult since I spend a lot of time in that area. read more

Horrible experience here. Came in and bought 2 new iPhone 16 pros. They were out of the color my sister wanted so hers was mailed. When she received the phone, we went in to purchase a screen protector. Easy, right? Nope! She grabbed a screen protector that clearly said "iPhone 15" and I was prompt in letting her know "this is an iPhone 16pro. Will that protector work for it?" She told me yes it was also for the 16pro. She's the "expert", right? So I let her put it on. It very clearly did not fit the phone and there was a good amount of space on the top and the bottom of the screen. I made my concerns very clear throughout the entire process. Letting her know it was clearly too small and she continued to gaslight me telling me that it was just the brand of screen protector that we chose. She was firm in the fact that it was supposed to be like this. I went to the car and googled the phone dimensions to find out that they are very different (the 15 & the 16pro) and I went back inside and said "I know I'm not crazy, this is absolutely the wrong protector and I won't let you convince me otherwise." Turns out I was right and she put the correct one on (fit edge to edge as it should have) and I voiced that I was frustrated that she gaslit me into thinking I was wrong the entire time. She continued to give me excuses that didn't even make sense and continued to say that she never grabbed the wrong box!! Ma'am I told you right away about the box saying 15!!! She never once took responsibility for the mistake and shoo'd me out of there. I left feeling extremely frustrated and was made to feel like I was an "issue customer" when I was just advocating for myself because I was being made to feel crazy for CLEARLY SEEING that the protector was way too small for the phone!!!! I live in Escondido but traveled to this location as my daughter who was visiting from Japan had a good experience here. My phone was dead broke, no trade-in value and I needed a phone bad. My husband and I waited the weekend zoo and came in last Monday. Sandra, who has been working for T-Mobile for 6 years at several locations helped us. She was great! I already had an idea what I was looking for, but she was able to answer all our questions, helped another customer a bit while we made a decision, then came back over to finish the transaction. Shopping for a Z-Flip, a $1k phone. But you can no longer physically handle a phone. You cannot flip it, put it in your pocket, survey the weight. I was told I must purchase the phone first before I can put my hands on it. Crazy! It's similar to saying, "You can only sit in and drive the car after you buy it Sir." All my salesman said was, "sorry." Grant it, it's not his fault. It's a Company policy. This practice in no way can improve phone sales. I went to this location because the other one that's closer to where I live was temporarily closed due to being remodeled. I forgot to have enough money in my bank account for the monthly auto payment. So I was just going to make the payment in person. It took a little while to get checked in, then literally sat around for up to 20 minutes and never got helped. The employees were so slow and taking their sweet time with everyone and everything. I got fed up and tired of waiting. When I couldn't anymore I simply walked out. One of them actually still told me to have a nice day. I would've if they had done a better job, but it was ruined by their lack of service. It actually took less time to just go to my bank, deposit money into my account, then make the payment online. I plan on just doing this from now on to avoid this location in the future and never go to it again. read more

I should have read the reviews, dang. Stopped in to trade in S7 and get the Pixel 4, I do not like the limited storage. If I wanted the 128 Gb I would have to go to Google. 14 days to return phone, there is a catch, $50, restocking fee so in effect making it difficult to get a replacement. Not the first experience I wanted. I walked into store 7517 to receive a new SIM card because my grandmother (the primary account holder) and I switched from AT&T to T mobile today. I waited patiently to be attended to as the activation process was underway on my grandmother's end at another store location. My grandmother had already paid for both SIM cards and both lines there. I received the new SIM card and purchased a pair of beats headphones. Instead of the $99 I should have been charged for the beats, I was charged $134 for the SIM card that was already paid for. I asked my attendant, Fernando about it and he said yes it still had to be processed at the store I was at, but everything was taken care of. I didn't think anything of it. I left the store with an inactivate SIM card. I tried to make a call only to be directed to the T mobile customer service phone number. The representative I spoke with from Oregon, Rachel, was confused as well. I returned to the store about 30 mins after I had left, waited again, and got it activated. As I left the second time, my grandmother called me to confirm I had not been charged for the SIM card because she had paid for both. I checked my receipt and it turns out I definitely was. I went back in a third time and explained the situation to Fernando. The representative from my grandmothers T Mobile location, Nichole, spoke for us and tried to explain the situation. What she told me was that this guy was trying to commit a fraud against me and make a sale. Since the card was paid for already, I shouldn't have been charged another $27 for receiving the card itself. I waited another 45 mins as Nichole acted as an advocate for my grandmother and I. While they were on the phone Fernando attempted to get Nichole's store number for some reason regarding " future transactions" which was unnecessary when all that needed to be done was a refund to my card. When I was given my phone back to speak to Nichole and Fernando had gone into the back room for something, she informed me again that he was up to something Fernando did not give me a refund, even though it was the same day. He said they would put a credit onto the account so my grandmother got her money back, but they were unable to physically show my on their computers that the -$27 to symbolize the credit being applied to the account. This entire time the store manager, Marcus, for some reason could not be bothered to come out of the back room and speak to me himself to resolve the matter. I was given their business cards and a promise that I'd be contacted within 48 hours and the credit returned. I still have not seen that credit applied to the account. I got there just before 12pm, had to come back, and left for the final time just before 2pm. What should have been a 5 minute interaction took 2 hours to complete because somebody was trying to get their numbers up, make a sale, or rip me off. I don't care about a measly $27. The fact that my elderly grandmother and I would have been charged extra money for no reason on the very first day we are under their cell service that's unacceptable. The first impression of Fernando was not a bad one, but it definitely ended as one. I sincerely appreciate Nichole for fighting for my grandmother and I from easily 100 miles away. Regardless, You won't see me at this corporate store again if I ever need something. read more

I bought the Nokia 3650 at T-Mobile right when it came out, and have stuck by it until I upgraded to a T-Mobile Dash for my birthday this year. That is the phone you see glued to my hands Yelping everywhere. **Note to self: DO NOT leave cell phone charger in a car, lest scorching sun burn the sh*t out of it** When I realized my cell phone charger would never work again, I hopped in my car and headed to the closest T-Mobile. I came into T-mobile with a simple plan of purchasing a iPhone 6 outright in full retail price. It should have been a simple easy transaction; pretty straightforward. I was helped by HEMSLEY (it may be something else, but that's as close as I remember). I told him exactly what I wanted, black 16gb iPhone 6 to be paid in full retail on the spot. I don't know why it took so long to set everything up when I walked in and told them in 30 seconds what I wanted. About 30 minutes later, after fumbling around with computers, going out back, calling managers over, etc. while I stood there patiently answering every question they asked, I was finally being handed my new phone ready to go. I'm of mixed opinion on the 30 minute turnaround time, but I'll give them a pass since it takes a while to set up, type in info, and scan whatever. Alas, he asked if I wanted to do the JUMP upgrade program that costs $10 a month. I firmly said no. He then walks over to the phone cases and pulls one and brings it over and tries to sell it, telling me how popular it was. For an $80 iphone case, I passed. He pushed a little more and I kept saying no. Then he asked again if I wanted JUMP and I said no. Finally able to leave, after 40-45 minutes, I was content. 3 hours later I got a text saying JUMP was added to my account. I called back furious multiple times trying to talk to Hemsley, the same day and the next few days, but he was always conveniently busy with another customer. He basically ducked my calls. I had to call customer service myself to remove the JUMP. Extremely mediocre customer service which I was tolerant of, but the SHADY thing he did adding JUMP to my plan (I KNOW you get commission for adding charges to plans) is irresponsible. The managers here need to reprimand him for not basically performing a scam. I said no, yet he still added it to my plan hoping I would not notice and charge me. Dishonesty at it's finest. This is the closest T-Mobile to my family full of T-mobile users. We'll drive the extra 10 minutes to get to the next one. read more

My grandpa flushed his phone down the toilet (yes, this does happen!) And I helped him get a new phone here. Very easy process and almost painless (if I hadn't had two kids in tow running around the store like wild monkeys). The sales rep were great and efficient. All T-Mobile stores are clean and minimalistic. They were very patient with me and my 2 wild kids and my non English speaking Grandfather. They even waited for me to change a diaper while in the middle of this transaction. Thank you for such great service, T-Mobile! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would in a heartbeat! Unethical salesmen strike again! If you can, AVOID HASTLEY AT ALL COSTS!(reviewed here as well as HEMSLEY, make no mistake, he's one in the same) Long story short, I was scheduled for a jump program upgrade in July, come October Hastley says I'm not eligible and that I have to buy a new phone, but that my husbands phone is paid off so he could use my old phone and I could upgrade. Sounds great, did that. But the bill comes and not only is my husbands phone NOT paid off but now we have payments to make on three phones when we're only using two AND my phone was absolutely eligible for the jump. My skin is crawling right now because I feel completely taken advantage of and manipulated for Hastley to get a bump in commission. I would like to note that JUAN CORADO was very helpful in trying to rectify this situation and I appreciate his effort. This store continues to do NOTHING for its customers, besides try to sell you on items that you can buy on amazon for a fraction of the costs and deceive their customers so that they can make a sale and get their bonus. I'm DONE! We're currently filing a case with corporate and will gladly tell any and all T-Mobile customers to avoid this store AT ALL COSTS! Such a shame when the representative from corporate, Donell, was SO incredibly helpful and pleasant and we enjoy our service with T-Mobile. This store gives the company a bad name and from my experience and other reviews, it's seems like Hastley is a huge part of that problem. read more

I stopped by this store because of their recent advertising (4 lines at $120) and this being a corporate store. They had 8 staff members and I just stood their waiting for someone to come over. I guy came out with a clip board after 10 minutes and starting writing names in a random order but not based on who came in the store first. We were told that they would help us in a short amount of time but we waiting an hour until closing, then continued to wait after closing for another 45 minutes. We were ignored and not prioritized.
