We came here on a very hot Saturday and were fortunately seated right away. The host told us we had luckily missed the majority of the morning rush. The place was PACKED, so that was a great sign. Busy, yes, but everyone seemed to be a good a place. Loved the simple, cozy interior with small, comfy booths. Got my good diner coffee then went with the Farmer's Breakfast. A couple eggs over easy (or any style), two sausage links, two bacon, choice of potatoes (or fruit) AND a couple buttermilk pancakes. I was hungry but still brought some to-go. Food came quickly. Everything was cooked right, even the bacon which I requested to be medium. Maria was my main person, and she was great. She helped guide me, suggesting the hash browns when I wasn't sure what box to check. A good call. It's a group effort, though, to be sure at The Reyn. Another go-to is the Farmer's Breakfast - Two eggs any style, two slices of bacon, two link sausages, choice of hash browns, home fries, or tater tots, and two hot pancakes...I like their chocolate chip ones! May be the egg increase is 50% recently meaning they were paying 25-30 cents an egg before this. They are gouging and taking advantage. I don't like it. Messed up. I've been here a few times and really enjoyed the food here. The wait is never too bad and service is pretty attentive. They have a pretty spacious parking lot in the back so that's convenient. We love getting the Farmer's special since it comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and pancakes. We also always order one of their scrambles which we then get with tater tots and their homemade banana bread. The banana bread is sooooo good and you can tell it's freshly made. And the tater tots are always crispy and delicious. Would love if they had real maple syrup for the pancakes but can't complain. I was so deep into a book that I was reading at the table that when my food arrived I didn't put the book down......Shout out to James Redfield for being a dope author, any way I thought it was only a few minutes, but it was obviously much longer like eight minutes later when I decided to start to eat my food only to my disappointment my French toast was cold and my sausage taste flat, and my eggs were overcooked. Being the foodie that I am, I asked for a manager and had a conversation with Pablo. He tried to tell me that I did not realize how long the food have been sitting at that table, and that the food arrived hot and I insisted no, sir. It wasn't that long but he checked the cameras so when I finish my meal after having it replaced, I had a conversation with Pablo and he listen to me, Tell him about my experience when he had already gone on the camera to see just how long I let that food sit at the table reading. Pablo let me finish my whole situation, blah blah blah, and then he's so politely and patiently displaying such tolerance and professionalism that I am writing this yelp review because of the way that this man conducted himself the whole entire time I attempted to be a whole Butthead about why my food was cold.
