There's a new menu, we didn't realize how much changed but it definitely made the family meals different. Somehow the inside seating had lights off or broken so it seems darker than usually. Place still is clean. We usually get the family of 6, now it's pasta, salad, 12 breadsticks and a choice of meat. We loved the tri tip and ribs combo but now it's just tri tip or Tri tip and chicken. Adding pizza to a family meal is no longer an addition, it is bought separately at menu price. The staff was patient with our questions, we were just caught off guard on the changes that placing an order was more challenging. We still got the usual but with an extra $$ cost and with a side (cornbread casserole) and meat sauce pasta which we usually don't get. Pasta was very Al dente, we're not used to it but the chunks of meat was good. The cornbread had jalapeños so be careful giving it to children. The tri tip and ribs were the same, delicious. The breadsticks seemed smaller. Salad was the same. Pizza was still good. Overall, it was such a big change that we might be coming less than we used to.... We ordered Stonefire grill as a catering item for our event. Food came on time and everything was warm. The price is reasonable at $21.49 for a bbq chicken and bbq tri tip combo. Portions are all the smaller size, but that's the going rate now a days. Everything was packaged well and didn't look like a mess. Order at the front, take the buzzer to a table of your choice & pick up your utensils & napkins on the way. We got meals added on to our lunch - roughly $3 more for a side and a dessert add on. Been to this location a number of times in the past. Recently, I have been enjoying Stonefire Grill more often, after not coming here for quite some time. Not sure why, there are a number of locations around, just was Mormon my mind. Glad I have gotten back to them. Their food is great, chicken, tri-tip, sides, pasta, pizza etc. everything is great. I really also love their carrot cake, some of the best around. They have some great promos usually, as of this review 4/4/26, they have their stimulus package for 4, Family meal for 4, lunch specials and a great $13 promo that you get a main, a side, breadstick and a desert. The staff is nice at all the locations I have been to, helpful, friendly, welcoming, etc. This location has a ton of seating inside as well as a really nice outdoor patio. Parking lot is big and is connected to a shopping center, so tons of parking. Stonefire also is great to the community, they give students a 15% discount and they give a whopping 50% discount to Military, great discount and great that they do that. On a Saturday afternoon in July, my sister and I decided on a lunch here. It's been a long time that I actually ate inside. I arrived at 11am and waited in line to order. As I was waiting in line, they expanded with more appetizers, sandwiches, and tacos. I decided to stick to my usual garlic 1/4 chicken with tri tip, Caesar salad, 2 bread sticks. It was nice to get my own drink and utensils and plates. The wait for the wasn't too long. The garlic chicken was moist and juicy. This used to be THE place for meals for family events. How the times have changed. The garlic mashed potatoes have considerably shrunk in size and, more often than not, are ice cold. The tri-tip (which used to be amazing) is also smaller and a lot tougher. Even the Caesar salad has lost some of its panache. Our administrative assistant ordered from here on Monday, utilizing the website that uses Uber Eats for meal delivery. She ordered on Monday for Wednesday delivery at 1230. At 11 she gets a notice that her order was cancelled. She calls the restaurant and speaks to a manager that tell her she needs to take it up with Uber Eats. I just went to Stonefire Grill since they have their $13 Meal Deal and it's only for a limited time! I got Tomesto Pasta with additional sausage, a Caesar salad with Sesame Ginger dressing and a cheesecake on the side. The tomesto was great to eat and SUPER filling! I liked the sesame ginger as it compliments the salad. The cheesecake with blueberry compote was great and adds a nice touch of freshness. The restroom was tucked away in a corner and has 2 stalls. The service was good considering that you would check in with your name. The ambiance is nice with small booths and intimate. I recommend this to everyone who loves a GREAT MEAL and GREAT value. Same plaza next to Trader Joe's and a bunch of other spots, so you already know--parking can be a little wild. Not impossible, but definitely a "say a quick prayer and circle twice" kind of situation. Ambience is usually welcoming, and service is normally nice, which is why we've been here about four times. Now... let's talk about my barbecue chicken salad. The chicken was partly uncooked in the middle. I told one of the waiters, and he apologized--cool, appreciated. But then a female waitress came over and asked how I wanted my chicken cooked. Ma'am... was I supposed to say medium rare or well done? It's chicken. I just want it... alive no longer. I waited for the new salad, which then sat on the counter for about 20 minutes. Not even hiding--just chilling there. My husband and I literally watched food go out to every other table while mine stayed in timeout. I finally had to walk up and ask if my salad was ready. No apology. No explanation. Just vibes. We've never had service like this here before, which is why this one hurt a little. Maybe they were overwhelmed, maybe everyone needed a snack break, who knows--but this was definitely the worst visit out of the four. Hands down Stonefire Grill always delivers. The service is excellent. Plenty of parking and conveniently next to Trader Joe's. The food here is consistently great. It's that time of the year where they offer one of my favorite salads. The Strawberry Walnut Salad has romaine lettuce, fresh strawberries, mandarin oranges, candied walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, craisins, and apple chips, tossed in a Blood Orange Vinaigrette. Came here back in January to place a large order for about 20 people. We ordered a few Stimulus packages and called ahead of request that these be put in party trays. Food was solid. I really like their pesto pasta and garlic tri-tip the most and the breadsticks are definitely amazing. One time I dined in and my order was taking really long and they gave us a slice of cheesecake and basket of breadsticks on the house as an apology for the abnormally long wait. I understand that sometimes things can go wrong and things can unexpectedly get delayed so the little treats were very kind and much appreciated. If you dine in, there is a self serve sauce bar where you can get however much bbq sauce you want! Looked pretty good so I snagged a bite while he was getting refills lol. Pizza seemed a bit salty and the crust was super thin. My wedge salad was super chopped and they chopped up my tri tip too. Time for an update to a 4 star. Since my last review, I've been back at least a 1/2 dozen times. The service has been consistently decent. The cashiers are always friendly and able to get our orders right, except for one time: I asked for no BBQ sauce on my burger, and she repeated the order back to me twice, but I still got BBQ sauce. The food has seen some improvements. The breadsticks are always a hit. The nachos satisfy my cravings and their pesto pasta and salads are full of flavor. Only thing I would pass on is their 'Limited Time' Meatlover's pizza. It sounds better than it tastes, and the tri tip on the pizza is over cooked, fatty and some pieces are too chewy.
