    Teriyaki Chicken breast with coleslaw
    Nancy G.

It's been a long time since I've eaten here, and was recently passing by and decided to stop in with the family. From what I remember, this place was amazing, but not today. Staff was friendly enough, We ordered so many things on the menu and the only thing that tasted good was the frozen thawed out French fries. The chicken curry tasted very weird., teriyaki chicken all breast with only coleslaw not sure if it was the chicken or the teriyaki sauce that had a foul smell. ABC Burger was OK., chicken skewers were let down, and Korean short ribs didn't have much flavor to them. Even the dumplings did not taste good at all. None of us finished our food, and we all complained about the food having a weird smell. I'm not willing to give this place Another chance, it was that bad. Better luck to those who are braver than I.

My girlfriend brought me here to grab some sandwiches to go. We had just finished breakfast so we weren't ready for lunch but since we were close she brought me to B-Man's Teriyaki to get a couple of sandwiches to take home and eat later. She recommended the chicken Teriyaki as her favorite and their specialty so that's what we ordered. I added avocado and American cheese, she added avocado as well. We ate an order of fries in the car while they were fresh and hot. Good krinkle cut fries with perfect salt. Ordered and paid at the counter, given cups for drinks. Also received a puck that would light up and vibrate when our order was ready. Nice clean, well lit dining area. Sat and enjoyed my drink while we waited for the sandwiches and fries. Everything was done in less than 10 minutes and we were heading home. We ate the sandwiches for dinner and they were very good. Nice chicken. We asked for the sauce on the side since we were going to eat later and that kept the rolls from getting soggy. We enjoyed our sandwiches, id give mine a 4.5 out of 5, it would have almost certainly been a 5 if we'd eaten them at B-Man's hot and fresh. Id definitely return and next time eat there for the freshest experience.

Consistently great food and service. Items of choice ABC burger, Teri Fries, Curry Bowl, Teriyaki Bowl. Highly recommend this location. So sad to see the Duarte location disappear. Extra points to the staff who decorated for Halloween. Shows a lot of thought and effort went into it. Great job!!!

I was getting bob at Half and Half next door and knew wanted to try out B-Man's Teriyaki. I liked the huge menu and options for everybody. Ordered at the counter a ABC burger and chili fries small. The food came out quick and service was friendly. I liked the burger and the sauce made it better. The chili fries were different than your usual chili fries. The chili had a slight sweet curry taste to it. Next time, I would ask the fries to fried a bit crispier. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

This review is for some catering that I picked up from the restaurant. Not the chicken! I'm only rating for their service and prices. I did some shopping before I finally found B-man's. I had a work event with a budget. I ordered pans of rice and macaroni salad from their establishment. My order was ready on time and the rice and macaroni salad were a hit. I definitely will be coming back to check out their other food. But if you're looking for catering definitely check them out as their prices were the best in the El Monte/San Gabriel area! The guys worked with me and were helpful when it came to my questions. I really appreciated the service and patience!

What a great visit with the good old buddy today after visiting a sick friend in the hospital, we decided to make a pitstop. It was like going back in the time with the flavors The food is always good here and the service was great as well. No complaints. Food came out in a timely manner and the place was spotless. I only have one gripe... Gotta get better chairs . That being said, see you soon.... Thank you for the great lunch !

The first time I came to B-Man's, this place gave me a sense of confusion. The menu in particular seemed like a random concoction of unrelated food...teriyaki chicken, Chinese chicken salad, burgers and chili?!? Oooookaaaaay? Man, was I wrong! This place is so good I've literally stopped here every of the 20 times I took a road trip in the past year. What's great about B-Man's IS the menu diversity and the fact that you just can't go wrong with anything on the menu. To date, I've tried everything on the menu and it's all awesome. My particular favorites are the chicken chili and katsu curry with the chili being particularly life changing. The only issue here is the parking. Because the parking lot is shared with Trader Joe's, there is pretty much never any parking. I have historically gotten "lucky" 18/20 times by just entering from the driveway next to B-Man's and hooking a sharp turn towards the spaces directly across from the store front. *Bonus tip* Turns out, the geographical location is perfect to cut around some traffic going through Pasadena when driving from IE to the grapevine.

This has been a staple in the SGV for us. We've eaten here so many times. The salad is normally my go to but my mom put me on to the burger. I order it with extra lettuce and it hits every time. The fries are my moms fave. Love the spam masubi and gyozas but didn't order those today.

    Double ABC Burger

Okay B-Man's has really good burgers. I know teriyaki comes first in the name but I think their burgers are better than their teriyaki (and that's not to say their teriyaki isn't good because it is... I just love their burgers!!). I've been here a couple times and tried their combo teriyaki plate, a regular cheeseburger, and a double ABC burger. The combo plate with chicken and beef comes with Mac salad and some slaw thing. I thought the Mac salad and slaw were just okay. Mid at best. The teriyaki is delicious though and has a nice charbroiled flavor which, when paired with their teriyaki sauce and white rice, is excellent. The double ABC burger was a flavor bomb and literally so good. We got it with American and Swiss cheese (so yum) and I'd never had a burger with teriyaki sauce before and was surprised how much I loved it. Possibly too big with the extra patty but still fantastic. Next time I'd get the ABC burger, single patty. The regular cheeseburger is a home run. It's just perfect and probably going to be my new go to. Anyways, it's a solid spot and you can't go wrong with whatever you order!

I've been coming here for the last 10 years. I always get either the chicken chili or chicken curry or hiyashi chuka. May this place last forever.

Love it here, I've been coming for over a decade with my family. ABC burgers are the staple here, coming with avocado, lettuce, tomato, a patty, your choice of American or Swiss cheese and their famous teriyaki sauce that will keep you coming back. Since I don't eat burgers much these days, I've been trying new things from their wide menu. Chicken teriyaki is great, as well as their chicken katsu. I really like their curry too which they can put on fries, a rice bowl, or like the chicken katsu curry bowl I tried. Workers are very nice despite being busy most of the time, they are still very accommodating in this hustle and bustle American-Japanese fusion joint.

It's so hard to find a place that stays consistent over 10+ years but they have. They're located in the same plaza as 626 Hospitality and Dollar Tree. Food: Popcorn Chicken (10/10): We got mild spice for the popcorn chicken and it was the perfect amount of spice. You can definitely choose no spice or go even spicier. They fry the popcorn chicken fresh to order so it might take a bit for your order to come out. The chicken is still moist regardless of the fry and the best part is, there's an amazing amount of crunch with each piece.

COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers, and they are offering a free small green tea, black tea, or barley tea if you order a bento box. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big, but keep in mind that they share the lot with several other establishments, so the lot can get full. Some parking spots are smaller than others so be careful where you park. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, and tidy. I wish they would play music or something because it's awfully quiet in there. Also, they turned off most of their lights, so it's dimly lit. I know that they are trying to save money on their electricity bill, but it's lowkey kinda creepy. Besides the creepy vibes, the food was lit. I had ordered a Taiwanese sausage rice bento box ($11.99) and a mild popcorn chicken ($6.50). They are currently doing a promotion where if you order one of their bento boxes, they will give you either a free small green tea, black tea, or barley tea. Take your pick. I chose to get a black tea with my Taiwanese sausage rice. The Taiwanese sausage rice is reminiscent of my time in Taiwan. The sausage was just so juicy. The minced pork on top of the rice was also very flavorful. The zucchini, corn, and cabbage were slightly seasoned with sesame oil, sugar, and salt, which made them taste 10x more delicious. I loved how tender the cabbage and zucchini were. The half egg was soft and had a bit of a runny yolk, which is something I enjoyed because I put the yolk all over the minced pork, which helped enhanced the rich flavors of the minced pork. Overall, everything was very delicious. I also love how juicy, tender, and crunchy their popcorn chicken are. The black tea was strong, bold, and smoky. Loved it! Portion sizes are great for the price. Totally worth a visit. Staff: I came here for lunch a couple of days ago (TO GO), and while I was waiting for my food, I was chatting with the owner. He explained to me that business has been extremely slow, and he wished he had some more customers. Please go check out Spiceology if you haven't yet. The food is delicious! The staff here are very friendly, welcoming, and kind. If you do visit this lovely Taiwanese spot, just an FYI, they only take cash or Zelle. No credit card.

Although its Thai Tea felt lackluster, the Mais Con Yelo dessert ensnared my heart. I happily bit into its creamy, sweet scoop of ice cream. I arrived at Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) on Thursday (around 6:30PM). It's located inside the Blossom Market Hall. Parking is easy. The lot is spacious. Customers order at the counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is friendly but unmemorable. Staff usually vanishes behind the counter. After ordering, Staff provides an electronic pager. It beeps when your order is ready. My order took six minutes and 53 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) and Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz). The Mais Con Yelo includes Sweet Corn Cheese Ice Cream, Sweet Corn & Cream Corn Mix, Shaved Ice, Evaporated Milk, Condensed Milk, and Corn Cereal. When fresh, the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) is VERY delicious. The ice cream is creamy with a robust, addictive corn flavor; its dry corn cereal toppings add a playful "CRUNCH." However, this treat is messy. It melts quickly!! As you progress, the treat tastes like chilled milky sweet corn. Unfortunately, the Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz) tastes heavy and bitter. There's an appreciated tea flavor attempt; however, it tasted burnt. Also, the boba pearls had a very off-putting texture and taste. These boba pearls felt like defrosted marshmallows. Despite the mediocre taste, I appreciated how the drink is thirst-quenching and huge. The Thai Tea is not bad, but it's forgettable. Concerning ambiance, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) benefits from being inside the popular Blossom Market Hall. It's filled with customers! The music is also very energetic and upbeat like a nightclub. The location has plenty of tables and seating. And the location is well-ventilated and clean. If I were to nitpick, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) would benefit from a hand sanitizer bottle because its desserts are so messy. Overall, I appreciated my visit to Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel). Personally, the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) saved this experience. It's a beautiful and delicious dessert. If curious, I lightly recommend. 4.5 out of 5

We waited 40 minutes for two drinks; Thai Tea & Milo shake. Very dissatisfying on the water down Thai tea and Milo taste like your normal chocolate shake, no trace of Milo. Overly priced for two drinks $28 for 24oz Thai tea and 16oz Milo shake. I can get more from Cafe 86 and way better tasting drinks! Next time, maybe do a quality check on your drinks and train your workers better. It looks like a bunch of kids running around and do not look like they know what they're doing.

Both the cashier and barista were really friendly in the short interaction we had together. I always get no ice wherever I go because I don't like my drinks watered down by ice. While many matcha places will just underfill my cup to keep their proportions correct, this place filled it up to the brim. The matcha was so strong and flavorful too! The soft serve was really smooth with a strong flavor as well. My only gripe would be with the to go container for the soft serve. The lid was sliding/lifting off and soft serve kept running down the sides of the cup. I would suggest maybe taping down the cover or putting it in a small plastic bag to help catch all the runoff if you do end up taking it home. I will definitely be back to try some of their other drinks and soft serve flavors!
