Went in after a Hike and the food was absolutely delicious and refreshing . My friend and I each got a salad and shared , both were yummy and had different toppings . Place is very clean and filled with beautiful artwork and tapestries. Service was excellent, our host was very attentive. We will be back to try more items . THANK YOU

Came here to catch up with a friend and the food here was delicious !!! Didn't get to take pictures because it was a full house but seating is pretty limited as they only have a few tables. I waited outside for 20 minutes until a table inside was available since it was cold and windy the day I had went. The service was great, the people working here are so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. This place is small and cozy :) i did see a lot of online pick up orders coming in so that's also an option too!!!

Visited again but we dined in this time. We ordered using the kiosk and seated ourselves. It took about 10-15 min for our food to be served. There are only about 5 tables inside, and there's a restroom. Portions are still quite generous and very filling. We packed leftovers. They provide water cups upon request. The chicken shwarma plate is still my favorite with very tender and flavorful chicken paired with garlic paste sauce. The chicken kebab is more on the dry side and has fewer pieces.

Cooked to order. Tender and fresh.

What an amazing place! It's literally a hole in the wall that is well worth the visit. There is a kiosk at the front for a quick order and about 6 tables inside. If you prefer, walk deeper into the store and you can order from the counter. The place is spotless, updated and trendy be design. The shining star is the food. The lamb shawarma is fantastic. The meat is tender the rice is cooked to perfection and overall I would give these humble people 10 stars if I could.

Supporting local small business and my family loves this place. The food has great flavor and is delicious. The family running the business are so kind and so happy to share their food with all. We ordered catering for a party and wow! I knew the portions were going to be generous because their individual portions are already stacked but I was blown away when I saw all this food that came with my catering order. I had 12 people over and there was more than enough food for people to grab seconds AND everyone packed food home. Highly recommend and would absolutely cater again.

Moist, savory chicken kabab: enjoyed their sandwich wrap combo that comes with fries and choice of canned soda. Everything was so much flavorful and fresh! Pretty good fries too, well seasoned. Very delicious hummus. Very kind customer service from the staff. Inside has a small number of tables like 5 or 6, however they have a couple tables outside for dine-in. Would eat here again!

I was excited to try out this Mediterranean place with good yelp review. We stopped by for work lunch. When I arrived before noon, there were already two tables of customers. The menu I had a great variety of choices. Prices a little higher than the neighborhood Mediterranean restaurant but we wanted to give it a try. I ordered the chicken kebab and my co worker ordered the lamb. The ambiance is nice and cozy. Brand new decor as a new restaurant. We waited about 30 minutes before the food was served. As we started eating, we saw more people coming in for the lunch rush. The food is good, I could taste the grill. The hummus is seasoned well, not too salty. The rice is fluffy and the pita bread is good. I understand the new restraint has to test and fine tune their kitchen operation. Maybe I will come back half a year later after they figured out a more efficient operation. In the Monrovia, there are many choices of good Mediterranean restaurants with excellent food and better prices. I encourage the restaurant to continue provide more value for the customers.

Gosh who knew I'd get to an age where I'd actually use the coupons from our quarterly local magazine that features local businesses that give you coupons for said businesses. We found ourselves here on a night we didn't feel like cooking, with a 10% coupon off your total bill in hand. You can't use the kiosk and do have to order at the register, but it went very smoothly. There were other patrons there having dinner, which was nice to see. We ordered two plates for carry out - beef lule kebab and lamb shawarma. Comes with pilaf rice, grilled tomato, grilled jalapeño, a salad and pita with hummus. Also came with tzatziki and toom. We were told it would take 15-20 minutes and they kindly offered us hot tea while we waited, for a to go order! That was so nice of them, seriously. We didn't mind the wait at all. The food was so fresh with amazing portions and it was so delicious. So much food for the price! My lamb shawarma plate was easily two meals for me. This area lacks good Mediterranean options in general and it looks like we just found our spot for Mediterranean food here! We will definitely be back! Bonus: Lots of free and easy parking to be had. Kababstic indeed!

We had dinner at Kababstic. The place has indoor/outdoor seating. The server, offered us tea as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The tea is served hot in a beautiful small kettle and glass cups, so aesthetically pleasing. The tea is so good, a must have for sure. I had the beef plate with no rice (extra salad), bowl of hummus, grilled veggies and pita. The beef is perfectly marinated and tender, the pita is thin, which is perfect for my liking, the salad dressing is fragrant, herby, and the hummus is topped with whole chickpeas, herbs and olive oil. My daughter had the falafel plate, which is a generous portion of croquettes, rice, salad, hummus, and tahini sauce. The food is fresh, delicious and fragrant. The server, a tall young man was friendly and attentive. It's wonderful to find a delicious Mediterranean eatery nearby. I can wait to go back.

Came here because I had another fun plans down the street from here so I was thinking would be good to eat dinner beforehand It's located in a strip mall The place itself is not huge but they do have seating outside but it wasn't necessary as I was able to get the last table just before it closes which is a little early but the fact it was full inside was a good sign You can self order via a kiosk or you can as I later found out order with a person who in this case was also our server and he was nice and the food didn't take that long to come out Food was great and freshly made and hummus was thick but that garlic sauce was yummy Chicken coulda been little juicer but that's understandable when it comes to breast but the flavor was good! Those egg rolls were bomb! Clean place

One reason I like Yelp is that it leads me to places like this when I'm traveling. In the mood for some Mediterranean fare near our hotel, I located Kababstik Mediterranean Grill on Yelp. It's a nice, comfortable location with plenty of parking. There are about six tables inside and a few outside. When we got there, all the tables were full, but we were fortunate that people at one table were just leaving, so we were able to get a table inside. You order from a kiosk and can, as we did, type in special requests. In our case, I ordered the Shrimp Grilled Plate and my partner ordered the Chicken Kabob Plate. We each asked for "double salad" instead of rice. The meals were excellent. The salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red cabbage) was cold and fresh. There was an oil/vinegar dressing on the salad that was nice, but not overpowering. The shrimp (two skewers - 10 medium size shrimp total - a good portion) was well-seasoned and nicely grilled. My partners chicken was moist and flavorful. Each Plate came with a thin pita bread and healthy portion of hummus. I usually don't eat pita bread because it is thick and bready, but this was nice and thin. The food was delivered to the table by a friendly server. If we lived in the area, this place would be in our restaurant rotation.

December 2025 - Party of two on a Thursday night. You order through a kiosk and they will bring the food to you. The place is small with about 4 or 5 tables. I love that they give complimentary Ceylon tea! Food/Pricing - Tabbouleh Meduim, $8.99 - Very good mix of sour and refreshing! Lamb Kabab Plate, $22.99 - On the pricier side but delicious nonetheless. Lamb was tender, tasty, and well seasoned. Chicken Kabab Sandwich COMBO, $15.99 - Chicken was juicy and tender. Sauce inside the wrap mixed well with the rest of the ingredients. Service/Ambiance - Friendly and prompt service. Parking - Plenty of parking in the plaza.

I visited this small eatery for an afternoon bowl of steaming hot lentil soup. The soup was not thick, definitely soupy. The flavor was pleasantly mild and also was brighten up with a drizzle of fresh lemon juice. The pita chips were crunchy and savory. Order at the electronic pad upon entry for dine-in or take out. Service was polite.

When I left, the tables got packed. I tried the platter for two, which came with a load of delicious rice, three proteins, roasted tomatoes and peppers. I enjoyed pairing it with their tahini and garlic sauces. The service and hospitality were amazing. Shout out to Ari, she is the best and really made my dining experience seamless. From recommendations, to check-ins, to bringing sauces for my table to try, it felt personable. The interior is perfect for families, dates, and catching up. It's casual but feels elevated. The food is delicious and the prices are appropriate given the portion sizes. Service was prompt and professional. Parking might be a challenge, though there are public lots within a block or two. We went on a Friday night and encountered heavy traffic from the local farmer's market/fair. The best item was the Beef kabob, 5 out of 5 stars. It was perfectly cooked, a very simply salt and pepper seasoning, juicy and simply divine! We got the kids meal, which came with only 4 pieces, and I'd be interested to return for the full adult portion. Also a 5-star experience was the Fried cauliflower appetizer. It had just the right amount of crispiness, without any blackening, and the garlic/parsley/lemon juice combo worked well. The juice was sucked into all the crevices, and overall it was light. I think I could have eaten two portions myself and called it a satisfying meal. I did dip in some tzatziki, which worked great too! Lastly the Chicken shawarma was a 4-star dish. Still delicious and I'd get it again, but it was slightly salty from the marinade and added sauce. I was expecting this to be wrapped up, but it was more an open-face naan with the chicken covering the top. Rice pilaf was savory, I'd rather not know just how many calories are included, the rice was still moist even after reheating the next day.
