Delicious! with outstanding service. You can taste the love they put into making each dish. We ordered Pad Thai and Yellow Curry with rice and it was enough for 4 people. This is the best thai I've had in the area. So fresh and not too sticky. While waiting they brought us cucumber drink and dried bananas that hit the spot on a hot summer day. read more

First visit! The parking lot is a convenient corner lot (easy access) with only 5 spots. Pad see ew: no notes, great taste and not too salty Yellow curry: did not come with rice, tasted delicious but is a bit more coconut-forward than other places Treasure pouches: super cute appetizers but not my favorite. Went in to check out this new place and was so surprised to find the former owner of Saladang (Pasadena) behind the counter. Having sold her first pride and joy in 2015, this is her post retirement return to doing something fun but at a slower pace. She saw this location and has been working for the past 2 years refurbing the former dry cleaning space to suit her taste. You might notice very clean lines, colors, and finishing touches from the window treatment to the plantings outside--there is pride in this place. It reflects in the food served- simple, no frills, less oil, minimal extra sugar, leaner cuts of protein all reflect her sentiment of being healthy and taking life slowly but enjoying each moment. New Thai restaurant in town so had to give it a try. They open at 10am making it very convenient. They have a small parking lot but seems set up more for take out so think parking situation is OK. They do have a few tables set up for dining in. I tried the pad Thai, pad kee mow and cucumber drink. Food was delicious. The cucumber drink was very refreshing. The best part is that it's reasonably priced. Very spacious and clean interior. Staff was very nice and friendly. Will need to return to try more dishes. read more

I came in on Saturday 4/25 for the first time and it was WONDERFUL!! I have been eyeing this place since I drive past everyday on my way to work and see that they will open soon. Well that are OPEN!! Come in to try some DELICIOUS Thai food with the BEST and most friendly staff!! It's not a sit down restaurant which is fine by me~ grab and take home to enjoy. The place was very clean and welcoming! The food was excellent! I ordered the chicken pad Thai and the shrimp pad Thai. Both delicious and very flavorful! Delicious food! The starred items on the menu are spicy, but the spice level can be adjusted. The former owner of Saladang does not disappoint! Paid $2 extra for an extra protein on my pad see ew. The chicken wings (6) were crispy on the outside while perfectly juicy and tender inside. There are a few spacious tables in the restaurant for dine in, and a few parking spots scattered around the unit. Sangdara is a must visit to eat! We stopped in to order takeout for lunch. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered pad see ew chicken and bbq chicken with a side of white rice. While we waited, one of the workers gave us cucumber juice for free while we waited. Not only was it such a kind and generous gesture, but the cucumber juice was AMAZING. When we got home to open the food, we were pleasantly surprised with how large the portion sizes are. Our bbq chicken was so much that it came in two boxes even though we only got one order. The pad see ew was packed with chicken as well. Pricing is also super reasonable which is a plus. We got everything pictured below for $30 with taxes (before the generous tip for their great food and service). Food was absolutely delicious and we WILL be visiting Sangdara again! read more

On two different visits, I ordered basil on rice (pad kra pow) with a fried egg, pad see ew (beef), garden rolls, and mango sticky rice. I was waiting for this place to open for a few months now. I knew it was going to be a Thai food place but I did not know how delicious it was going to be!!!!! We showed up in the afternoon. We thought it was going to be a restaurant situation but it is actually more of a take out spot. They do have a few tables where you could eat in there though. Im not mad at it! The vibe was good and the young lady at the register was really helpful and friendly! We ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, and Mango Sticky Rice. All the plates we ordered were really amazing! When you finally make it here you'll likely find yourself debating between Pad Kee Mao and the Sangdara Spicy Noodle not knowing what the latter exactly is. Much more garlicky than most pad see ews i've had before but I actually really liked it. The Chinese broccoli was super crisp (the perfect texture). Also, there was lots of chicken and egg :) Cashier was very nice and it was small but clean and organized inside. Just note the parking lot is very small!
