Yesterday, I had the opportunity to dine at this lovely, family-owned restaurant. It's run by a husband and wife, with the wife preparing all of the delicious, homemade dishes. I went with my brother and his girlfriend, who had never tried Thai food before. The owner took the time to recommend several dishes, and every single one was incredible. The Tom Yum soup was absolutely amazing, and every plate that came to our table was full of authentic flavor. You can truly taste the love and care that goes into every dish. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice with their homemade coconut ice cream, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. I like that it's a mom and pop shop and I really wanted to like it but unfortunately the food was so salty, I couldn't finish it. It didn't feel very welcome despite what I read from other reviews. No real greeting and nobody checked in on us or refilled our water when we were the only customers in the restaurant. My food was also VERY salty. The chicken was dry and bland and the noodles felt like they were soaked in sauce from the saltiness. I drank a sip of water with each bite. And ended up boxing it up. Small Thai restaurant in the Arcadia/Foothill/Monrovia area. Owner assisted us today, loved the artwork of his son incorporated into the logo of the business. Started with a Thai Tea, it was delicious. The lunch specials come with rice, egg roll and the main dish. The vegetable dish is seasoned with a garlic sauce but had a lot of liquid and not sauce. The owner was really friendly and the service was quick. The place was empty but mostly a lot of pick up orders or to go. The decor is interesting with real and fake plants, rustic pieces and little stuff that owner likes. Can I just say- DELICIOUS! Honestly, this is some of the best Thai food. It's so authentic and freshly prepared. They have lunch specials that are so reasonably priced and if you call in the order it will be ready for pick up when you arrive. Since my friend introduced me to this place, I have been craving their Pad Thai noodles. I think this would make a fun, cozy little date night too as the cafe is small and very intimate. I was a regular but not anymore. The portion size shrunk significantly. The plates have become sloppy. I order fried rice and another noodle plate and it was burnt. I don't know if it's the same cooks from before or they are burnt out like the food. I enjoyed the food before but this time it was very bad. A cute little Thai spot on Foothill and 2nd! My husband and I came by for a couple of lunch specials after finding it on Google and Yelp in the area where we were on break. In a small plaza with a parking lot, this Thai restaurant is a bit of a hole in the wall with an eclectic blend of diy contemporary decor with a few pop culture references. It's lunch specials were about $12 each with an egg roll and rice added on to a small entree. I got the chicken pad Thai and Thai iced tea and my husband ordered the mixed vegetables with pork. Pros: Both plates were tasty and pretty good for the price and so was the Thai tea. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual. Cons: The kitchen dishwashing area was next to the dining area so unfortunately the smell of dishwater was present. The restaurant overall could use a little refresh to be more inviting and clean. It's a nice spot, but as is I think a to go order would suffice for some decent Thai food in the area. read more

Ok, I didn't want to give them 2 stars because they seem like nice people (the people that appear to own the place), but I feel I have no choice. The food is tasty, that is for sure. We had the papaya salad, the eggplant dish, and pad see yew. Everything was great but the pad see yew was mostly noodles with about four to six pieces of broccoli and a two of the pieces were halves of one whole. My big issue is that the place is tiny and their son was sitting there coughing nearly the entire time. The parents were discussing getting him a flu shot which means he doesn't have one. As an immune compromised customer my anxiety was in the red zone and I didn't feel comfortable at all. The kid didn't cover his mouth one time and he had a real bad cough. Let me say this, I did notice he was coughing the entire time but not for the first few min we were there. After we ordered and were waiting for our food it started and didn't stop. The service was good, outside of the minimal broccoli, the food was excellent! And everyone seemed nice, but the kid coughing (without covering his mouth), and the minimal broccoli are why I'm giving it 2 stars. It's a drag, but I don't feel safe visiting in the future. And the bathroom was out of order, so I couldn't wash my hands after touching the menu that could've had germs on it from the kid's incessant coughing -- the place is small enough that it's totally possible. read more

I've gone here for take out a few times and it is sooooooo goood!! The flavor is so addictive and I finish eating it so fast since it's so yummy. Their spice level also does not lie. The strong spice is to be warned and you will sweat!! I think this place is family run and I'd say it's very cozy and familiar. They don't have their alcohol license but they do have other drinks you can order from! My friend wanted to take me for a birthday meal and i just wanted something quite simple that would have Vegan Options and low and behold nearby where I had to go later tonight was this small Thai restaurant one of my friends recommended.... We walked in and a guy behind the counter taking orders..... Small and clean they just told us to have a seat and a lady sitting in the corner with a cool little boy asked us if we were ready to order...and proceeded to take our order.... I should've taken pictures of the menu it is newer now compared to the ones I see on yelp....there is a caricature of a kid on the menu with his thumb up and looks like putting something towards his mouth...well it is the little boy of the owners (I assume)....he even helped clean up our table and gave us our check....which he brought up the payment to the front.... My friend had the Chicken Pad Thai and I had the Vegan Pad Kee Mao w/Tofu. Both were good and tasty and enough food for us to eat..... I asked for all the dishes to be mild (due to health reasons) with the exception of the pad thai which isn't a spicy dish after all. Yellow curry: very tasty, spicy basil: yummy, pad thai: hubby said it was good, pad see mao: a little disappointing (it lacked flavor). Overall, I'll come by again. This is definitely a hole in the wall. I was craving some Thai food so I took moms on a mission to try some Thai from a different restaurant that we normally frequent. It has a small dining area but that was ok for us. We ordered some crab rangoons (they were a miss for me ) the beef spicy salad (mild, but delicious) and some shrimp pad Thai (also delicious). Everything came out to $50. Not bad as we were both satisfied and the food was delicious minus the rangoons. Definitely coming back to try other stuff. Their food is good and affordable. I love their yellow curry and pad thai and definitely want to try the other menu as well. I ordered online yesterday and got the lunch menu. I didn't know they had such a thing, so I was really excited about it. It mentioned that it comes with a spring roll and salad of the day. It was $2 cheaper than ordering the normal curry, so I went ahead with that as it would be a perfect lunch. I got my food, went back home, and noticed that my salad wasn't in there. I gave them a call later and told them my salad wasn't in there. They responded "oh we don't do that anymore," and I was like oh..okay. But clearly on the menu, it still mentions that it comes with the salad. What's disappointing is that the curry was half the amount of the normal one. I thought I'd have a perfect lunch with salad, curry, and the side spring rolls, so maybe that's why I felt extra dissatisfied. The 2 small spring rolls were good, but overall, I felt disappointed. Today 03/26/26 we (my wife and 2 sons) had a "pleasure (NO)" to eat at this place. We have ordered: 1. Tom Yum 2. Mongolian beef 3. Fried egg rice 4. Some beef dish. 1. Tom Yum was completely clear water of the soup (may be it has to be like that, but I have visited Thailand couple times, Vietnam twice and China several times and everywhere I go to eat a Thai food I order Tom Yum. And they serve it with kinda creamy and red colored. But this was clear as crystal mountain water). 2. Mongolian beef with 2 small green onion pieces and lots of mushrooms and couple pieces of beef. Which I can hardly call it Mongolian BEEF (Veggie beef) the tastewas really awful. 3. Fried egg rice and regular rice was completely not tasty at all it was like eating papertowel with lumps. My sons could eat only couple of spoons and started complaining that its not tasty and I'm agree with them. 4. Beef dish was very dry and tasted like it's been laying on the kitchen counter for whole day long and served for us. Beverages were ok. I HIGHLY recommend to avoid this place if you want to eat something delicious. The gentleman that served us was very nice and polite. And the last thing is that the restroom is actually in the kitchen (you're gonna use the restroom-closet (mops, brushes and buckets)) and then you'll wash your hands in the kitchen, looking at all groceries in front of you and the meat) So, "Bon appétit" if you are planning to come to this nasty place. Good flavors and plenty of spice! This little hidden gem is located in a small strip mall. The front is very unassuming and the inside is very small. Only a few tables and a counter. I called in for a takeout order Saturday and the food was ready in 20 mins, flat. We ordered the panang curry, chicken basil (pad pad krapow, crying tiger, pad see ew, and coconut soup (Tom Kha). What a lovely hole in the wall restaurant :) The restaurant isn't very big at all. There probably isn't more than 20-30 seats inside. Service was great and everyone was really friendly there. Yellow Curry Chicken (Mild) - 5/5 If you're not a fan of spicy food, this one still has a spicy kick to it. I'd order no spicy if the slightest hint of spicy-ness bothers you. The mild is nothing unbearable though, and I don't enjoy super spicy food either. The flavor was perfect and it's made with chicken breast, carrots, onions and I believe potatoes. It also comes with a side of white rice. Mango Sticky Rice - 5/5 Absolutely delicious!! It comes in a beautiful cup topped with Coconut Ice Cream and peanuts. It was such a good mix altogether. When the food came, I was impressed by the level of detail of the food presentation for a small Thai restaurant. The colors were vibrant and the dishes were topped with fresh flowers. The glass noodle salad had the perfect amount of flavor, sourness, and spiciness. The pad thai with BBQ pork was very juicy. We decided to order the mango sticky rice for dessert and the mangoes were soo sweet and paired perfectly with the warm sticky rice.
