Came here this past Wednesday with my parents after hearing great things from a friend about Soonheene and Twozone Chicken. Soonheene actually started in Seoul's famous Gwangjang Market where they were known for their pancakes, so I was excited to check it out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Esther (the owner) and her daughter. They both went out of their way to explain the menu and answer all my questions with genuine smiles. That kind of hospitality really sets the tone for a meal. We ordered the Pork Mungbean Pancake, Rose Tteokbokki (creamy rice cakes with fish cake and sausage), Bibim-Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles), and a whole fried chicken split into two flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty. For half the chicken, I went with the original but added green onion and their special oriental sauce drizzle. The other half was spicy soy garlic. I'll admit, I liked the original better. I second-guessed myself when the owner's daughter mentioned soy garlic was their number one most popular flavor followed by honey butter, but I thought I would be different and try the spicy version. The spice kind of drowned out that garlicky soy flavor, so lesson learned. Next time I am going straight for the soy garlic and honey butter combo. For drinks, we tried the Korean coffee and cold yuzu drink, both refreshing and a nice complement to the food. By the end of the meal, everything was so good that I even found myself asking about catering their chicken for future events. The vibe inside is really comfortable with soft K-pop playing in the background. It is just enough for atmosphere but not too loud, so you can talk easily. The only tricky part is parking since it is in a busy plaza with a lot of other restaurants, but at least it is free. Overall, this was one of the most unique dining experiences we have had recently, made extra special by Esther and her daughter's hospitality. I love supporting family-owned spots like this, and I will definitely be back to try that famous soy garlic and honey butter chicken next time. read more

My wife wanted to come check this place out due to the variety of korean dishes from small plates to Jiggae. Their Beef Jiggae diffinitely hit the spot with it comes to spiciness. I can tell ya my spice tolerance wasn't able to compete with the dish. It was explosive; I started to sweat. read more

Soy garlic is amazing here and their chicken wings are battered perfectly delivering a light and crispy bite. Their fries are just regular salted fries that do not come with the order. Their regular tteok-bokki is not overly sweet, is spicy, and generous amount of fish cake included too. read more

Here for the wasabi korean fried chicken nearby. It's basically just the classic no sauce with thinly sliced onion on top. The wasabi sauce comes in a sealed package. You can drizzle on top but we find dipping actually does a better job. Keeps it crispy if you don't finish for next day. We got half/half. The other half got the classic yangnyeom. Solid. The chicken are small so at least makes you feel like they're not injected with a bunch of hormones. Kinda hard to find the place if you're not looking for it. Best soy garlic wings I've had in Socal. They have a location in Chino Hills which is tasteless so I wasn't too sure when coming to the Arcadia location. Happy I made the visit. Soft, juicy chicken and crunchy exterior with soy garlic drizzle. I only got the 5 pieces wings and it was enough for me. Highly recommend. I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was delicious. It's located inside a plaza, so there's a private lot with free parking. I got their bone-in chicken wings in the soy garlic and hot&spicy sauce. The pieces were substantial in size, with a nice crispy batter and tender meat. I don't like my chicken too saucy, and the bottom pieces of the wings were saucier than the ones on top. Overall it was still really good and retained the crispness of the batter. The store is a bit small, but with adequate dine-in seating. I'd come back here to try their other sauce flavors! read more

I'm a little confused as to whether Twozone Chicken and Soonheene share the same owner or not (and why they are in the same space but have separate Yelp pages). So this review will be for the fried chicken only. We ordered the: 10 piece soy garlic wings - all my friends (except 1) did not like this. Firstly, we ordered the soy garlic, but they gave us spicy garlic so it was too spicy for me. Second, we all thought the chicken had a weird taste to it - like it tasted like chlorine or something. It was just a really weird taste. For me, the marinade/sauce was too salty and spicy. 10 piece honey butter wings - I thought the honey butter was delicious! The powder was sweet/savory and the chicken was plump and juicy. I don't think I would come back for the fried chicken. I really like BBQ chicken and I think BBQ chicken is more affordable for more chicken and the chicken tastes better. There's also no restroom here and barely any parking (most spots are limited to 5 or 30 minutes). We also ordered the mayak gimbap, rose teobbokki, and the seafood mungbean pancake - but I will keep my review for those in the Sooneheene Yelp page. read more

Definetly give this place a try! The food here are delicious. There are about 7 tables here mostly 4 seater or 2 seater. It isn't great for larger groups. You order first at the register and then take a seat. And after you are done you clean up yourself and return the dishes. I ordered the Tteokboki + Oden and half chicken with soy garlic flavor. All the food we got was so good. I love each one of the dishes we got. The soy garlic chicken was flavorful and the chicken was so juicy. I would come back whenever I crave korean food. read more

New k-food spot in Arcadia! Had to stop in and try their wings and definitely wanted to try the onion chicken - the reviews made it look/sound so good! This is a TwoZone and it seems to be located inside a Soon Hee Ne Korean street food restaurant- they're doing a collab. I ordered the soy garlic bone-in wings and the boneless wings with onion sauce, and a side of rice - all to-go. The flavors are excellent here - and their wings are very meaty with a wonderful meat-to-breading ration. The soy garlic sauce on the wings was so savory and had a nice little kick to it. They list it as one-pepper on their spicy meter but I'd say it's between mild and medium. Their rice is lovely as well - very soft, fabulous texture and light flavor. Unfortunately I think I didn't receive the sauce that goes with the onion chicken? It was just dry fried chicken pieces with some onions on top. The menu says it comes with a Mayo-onion "sauce" and other pics/reviews show an actual white sauce but this didn't have any sauce we all - totally dry. So I'm not sure what happened there. Next time I'll definitely ask about that bc that was my main reason for coming in to try their menu. But I still had a great experience- the food was all very good and the staff were so so nice and welcoming and excited for me to try the food. The interior was really chill and clean and relaxing. I would definitely consider eating in. They even had some entertaining stuff playing on their Tv screen that made me giggle! It's located in a busy shopping center so there are lots of parking spaces but sometimes hard to find one bc of how busy it gets. But I didn't have any issues during late lunch time on a weekday. Grabbed some wings and kimchi rice togo. I'm no expert on Korean food. However, I really enjoyed the flavors and crispy texture of the chicken. The kimchi rice was really tasty as well. I will return now that I know where it is. The sign didn't say Twozone Chicken. I think it was in Korean . I drove around looking for it. GPS kept saying you are at your destination. I'm so glad I randomly stumbled upon this business on Yelp. Their wings were meaty, crunchy, flavorful, and simply delicious. They gave a good distribution of wings and drums amongst my two orders. I will definitely visit again. I called in my order and was quoted with a 25 minute wait time on a weekday night. The plaza had a parking lot but to my surprise most of the spots were taken. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the takeout packaging. The boxes had holes to ventilate the fried chicken but the plastic bag was closed shut so there was visible condensation in the bag when I picked up my order. Its packed with so much flavors with my review ill be comparing it to the famous food chain counterpart Bbq chicken and i got to say they are at the same level! The chicken was freshly cook, juicy and the sauce really sticks to the chicken! Prices are affordable as well. We happened to pass by when we noticed there was a grand opening at Two Zone. Curious, my friend and I decided to stop by and try some wings. I had the wings in the 5 season sauces. It was a nice spice and sweet balance. The chicken was crunchy, hot, and juicy. The restaurant itself has two restaurants in 1 location. So when you dine it, they will give you two menus. One thing is that since they fry it when you order it, it does take a bit of time. We waited about 20 minutes for our wings. We ordered the Soy Garlic chicken, Sauce Mixed (Yangnyeom) Chicken, Honey Butter Chicken, Gimmari, Rose Tteokbokki, Mung Bean Pancake, and Gimbap. Every bite of the chicken was so juicy and I did not feel gross after eating, which was a big plus, considering I normally feel gross after eating at other Korean Fried Chicken spots. Clean decent Korean chicken place that is located together with Soonine. The atmosphere is nothing fancy but well equipped and super clean. The service can be a little slow but most of the time they are friendly. Their chicken is light barreled and super crispy, which I like a lot. Also I can tell they use clean oil, not like other fried food places with stale oil smell. I love their Padak that comes with green onion topping and add the sauce ($3 extra). My new favourite place for Korean fried chicken! We love Soonhenee for their pancakes, so we were super excited when they partner with Twozone! We got the plain fried chicken wings with the special onion sauce and the hot& spicy chicken wings. Both were super juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I had plain fried chicken at other Korean chicken place and they were not impressive, but the plain ones here are actually flavorful enough on their own. The onions were slightly pickled, which highlights their sweetness in combination with the creamy sauce. It goes well with the plain fried chicken. I'd try the plain fried wings with the green onion sauce next time. The hot and spicy wings were quite spicy, so they were great! In term of preference, I found that the spiciness had a herbal taste to it so it wasn't my favourite, but the fried chicken is still excellent. I'd probably try other spicy flavors like the soy one or the mixed sauce. Pro tip: If you do Yelp check in under Soonhenee, you can get free Bingsoo (milk shaved ice) or free soft drink. I highly recommend the bingsoo. It's great after eating the spicy chicken! I ordered a half fried chicken (original) style. I was told the order would take 20-25 minutes. Rather than wait around, I drove home and came back later to pick my order. In the future, I will call my order. The fried chicken was delicious! The chicken was fried to perfection, crispy outside and moist and tender inside. I was surprised how well the chicken retained its heat despite being a take-out. I found the garlic soy sauce only masked the deliciousness of the chicken itself. Gave this location a try after being a fan of the one in Ktown. We ordered the boneless combo with soy garlic and honey butter. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The soy garlic sauce had a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors that went perfectly with the chicken. The cashier was friendly and the food came out quickly. The place is a bit small so if you're going with a larger party, maybe call ahead. Let's start with parking. Very limited. The parking lot is very small so good luck finding a spot! Once you park, the restaurant is small with a limited number of tables. It is set up like a self-service restaurant. You order at the counter, then find a table to sit. They will bring you utensils, napkins and chopsticks. They have a self-service area for ice water with lemon, barley tea or hot water all complimentary. The menu has a variety of popular Korean dishes and combos as well as the fried chicken nuggets made to order at your desired spice level. They had a special ( good through 4/14/2024) on their spicy pork or Korean BBQ beef for $9.99, normally $17.99 and $18.99 respectively. We ordered the Korean BBQ beef on their recommendation. Besides the plentiful serving of beef, it came with a scoop of rice and either a small salad ( plain, no dressing) or steamed broccoli and carrots.Wish they had siracha or chili oil or peppers to add a little kick to the beef. My Korean mom and I love the mayak gimbap. It is so tasty, with or without the (Korean mustard/vinegar) dipping sauce. You'd think, "oh, this is just gimbap in a different shape," but the cigar shape basically means you get less carbs and more of the filling per bite. Which for me, makes for a more flavorful, and less heavy, bite, compared with typical gimbap. Also, not all gimbap are created equal - the ones from here are very tasty and well-made. We've also had the bungeoppang (taiyaki/fish-shaped bread) - those are nice as well. Made fresh to order. We like both the cheese (a light, mild mozz) and the red bean fillings. read more
