Why is it that each time I come here, something goes wrong? I honored my cravings for wings and dined in since they had their promotion for 1$ wings. Partner and I did not wait very long and seated shortly. The place was packed and it was understaffed, so service was a miss. There was another party that got their order in, their food came out shortly, but they were seated after us. Partner was starting to get irritated by the delays. We had our order taken and given the lowdown of how ordering works: you're only allowed to order the promotion first. Additional orders for wings means you pay their regular price. 12 pieces was enough to feed us, but they didn't include their big fat drumsticks. Our fries came out after the wings for some reason, and that was a bit of the wait. We didn't even get plates upon seating lol. At least the food was good, but it was chaotic from start to finish.

4/25/26 Trying Korean fried chicken for the first time

4/25/26 Korean Fried Chicken (Mixed 6 PC: 4Wings + 2 Drums)-- thought I'd give it a try--why the heck not!? Best decision tonight! Cute spot at this plaza in San Gabriel where two of my other favorite shops are located, Old Ferry Donut & Paris Baguette. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in and I asked how long would it take if I were to order fried chicken? The friendly young man at the counter quoted 15 minutes. There's indoor dining but most of the orders I saw the time I was waiting were for takeout. The playlist was bumpin'- music you can dance to. The camaraderie between staff was charming and genuine. Parking is free and would probably be challenging during peak hours. In about 7 1/2 minutes my order was up-- that was pretty quick ! Off I went to take it home, excited to try this chicken for the first time! Oh, me oh my! Still warm, crispy, crunchy, slightly sweet and spicy. It was simply delicious, full of flavor, my kind of fried chicken!! I'm glad I requested for the pickled radish. That was the perfect side dish for this fried chicken. Highly likely to return & try other items, I'm eyeing the Japchae.

Been meaning to come by to try them out for a while now, I'm glad to have had a chance to eat here today. The vibe is pretty chill, the service was friendly and excellent. I ordered 10 of their $1.00 wing + soda I should have ordered the max of 15 wings, (5 soy garlic and 5 Yangnyeom) both taste good!, I may also order their fries next time. The place has a sports bar kind of vibe and kept clean

Bonchon soy garlic and yangnyeom Korean Fried Chicken

For our mid-week dinner, we opted for the Korean Fried Chicken weeknight wing special. Our server suggested trying both the soy garlic and the yangnyeom flavors, and neither disappointed. The chicken itself was expertly prepared, maintaining a juicy tenderness beneath an incredibly crisp, crunchy batter. Flavor-wise, the soy garlic hit the right balance of savory notes, while the yangnyeom offered a classic, sweet glaze with a genuine kick of traditional Korean spice. Combined with a lively atmosphere and plenty of TVs to watch the game, it is an ideal spot to hang out with friends

Undecided for dinner, came back for their $1 wing special, this is the only thing I'd like tonight. Ordered the Korean sweet corn, did not like it, way too much mayonnaise, that's all I tasted! Also ordered new item that had rice, hotdog, egg, topped with mayonnaise and ketchup, did not like it, the mayonnaise and ketchup did not go well with the other flavors, this was just bad, wasted calories! Regardless of the bad food, we had great customer service, thanks, Jaser!

Came here today for lunch...get here when they open...because the tables fill up quickly. Thankfully I got there when they did open. The staff was and is very friendly...to all the customers...the staff was very accommodating and took care of everyone. They are great. They have a great menu and a lunch-special menu...I ordered from the lunch-special menu. I guess the negative...if there is one, this is one of many restaurants that offer chicken with lots of flavors to add and it's expensive. There are sooooo many chicken places offering hot and spicy chicken or Korean fusion or tex-mex...you know what I mean...so many specialty chicken places that for some reason, charge an arm and a leg for a wing and a leg. See what I did there! All that being said, Bonchon's chicken is very good. I'd eat here again. I can get a great meal at El Pollo Loco and spend less...and once in a while spoil myself and spend more to eat here. I hope you understand my review...with tax and tip, just water and lunch special, $20.00. To be fair...it's getting expensive to eat out everywhere even for chicken. In close...come to this location you won't be disappointed.

It seems like they're running promotions like $1 wing because they're trying to increase business . I tried to come in and was going to miss last seating. I called to be considerate. They were not willing to seat me and were using that to reject letting me order at promo price. Like I'm willing to tip as if I'm dining in and I'm willing to bounce to let the staff go home. Seems strange to turn away business. EDIT: so instead of internally forwarding the concern, you had me go through a bunch of form replies for a canned response reply from corporate. Smh

4 wings, 2 drumsticks, and side of rice for lunch special

Recently went to bonchon for the first time after years. It is better than I remember. I ordered online which was super easy and got a combo which was 4 wings, 2 drumsticks, and a side of your choice of cold slaw, rice, or radish. I picked rice and chose soy garlic. Total was $13.99 +0.99 convenience fee and $1.47 tax...didn't realize there was a convenience fee until looking at it now but don't love that. I might've ordered from a third party but I thought it was their website. Food was better than I remember. It was pretty crunchy and tasty exterior, however I remember the interior meat was okay. I think I prefer bbq chicken the chain more, but it is down main street so a bit further for me. Service was great - it was a quick interaction since I just went to pickup but the cashier told me they were doing $1 wings the month of January 2026 (?) for dine in only on weekdays I believe. I would've done that had I known! Didn't experience much ambiance since I got to go but it was chill and not crowded, but I went on a random Wednesday afternoon. I would go again out of convenience, but not my favorite Korean fried chicken spot for sure.

I came right when they opened at 11 am and got seated right away. They had a deal for $1/wing, up to 15 pieces. I decided to get the wings with yangneom sauce. The wings had the right amount of crispness to it The crunch was nice and loud. The sauce was more sweet than spicy. Overall I would come here again for the deal.

Had dinner here after a long day in the office. Nothing beats a cold beer and some Korean fried wings! Great timing too, it was $1 wings special. Once we walked in we were greeted and seated shortly. Service is always great here and it's a nice and clean Korean fried chicken spot. I love coming here. My friend even cheated on her gluten free diet just to eat here lol.

First time here with my coworkers, and overall it was a great experience. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a group outing. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive from the start they walked us through the specials and popular items, which we really appreciated. We decided on the Seoul Sampler, and it was 100% worth it. You get a little bit of everything from their most popular dishes, which made it perfect for sharing. We also ordered wings, plus sides of onion rings and fries. Everything was delicious. The onion rings were especially crispy and flavorful, the street corn, and Bulgogi fries were one of my top favorites so good. The wings were nice and crispy, though the soy garlic sauce was a bit salty for my personal taste. That said, the service really stood out our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask. Great food, great service, and a solid spot I'd definitely come back to.

Came here for their Monday through Thursday $1 wing special, which is back. We ordered the maximum 15 wings per person, for 2 people, so we got 15 soy garlic and 15 spicy flavored wings. We sat down an hour before closing and they were very attentive. We got our order shortly after ordering and they were all tender, hot and crispy. We also added a side of white rice and pickled radish. Soy garlic and spicy are still our 2 go to flavors. Though the spicy is less spicy than some previous, it's more enjoyable for us. Tonight it was 7/10 spicy; just right. We also got a fountain diet coke which had complimentary refills. Helps with taming the heat from the spicy wings. I also normally order the mapo corn dog and fries, but not tonight as we weren't feeling as hungry. If you haven't tried the mapo corn dog, it's worth a try! All in all, great service. Food was fresh and delicious. Free parking in parking lot. Lots of spaces late at night on weekday. Still highly recommend!

Great service! The waiter was so friendly. They also had a $1 wing special going on while we were there only available for dine in. They had the baseball games going on the multiple TVs while we ate and it was a good time! Parking can be a little hard as it's a busy plaza.

Hi. Do you still offer the family meal?

    Yes we do.

No sorry. We prepare our chicken in a traditional twice fry process the true Korean way!

Is your fried chicken free of any fish or seafood sauce? I want to order but someone in my party is allergic to seafood and seaweed.

We don’t use any fish or seafood sauce in the preparation of our chicken. It is fried using soybean oil.

It had a very strong star anise flavor and the broth could have use a little skimming. And Broth offers a variety of interesting phở variations that I'd like to try. The broth is comforting, the noodles have that great chewy texture, and the beef is exactly what I want when I am craving something warm and filling. I keep telling myself I should branch out and try more of their noodle dishes, but my heart simply cannot say no to the beef noodle soup. I have also had the dumplings and beef rolls before, and both are good as well. The place can get full, but it is always worth it and genuinely never disappoints. Overall, Noodle Street is a reliable favorite for a cozy meal, especially when the weather calls for something warm, hearty, and satisfying.

Had a great experience at Noodle St Pasadena. The food and service were both really good, and I…read moreloved being able to see the cooks making the noodles fresh to order. The quality was solid, and everything came out hot. The chicken wings were great, the garlic green beans and cucumber salad were amazing, and the signature spicy ramen was really good too. It was a bit greasy, almost like birria, but the meat was tender and the broth tasted like it had been cooking for 48 hours deep, rich, and full of flavor. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the Korean beef. It was way too sweet and didn't really give Korean BBQ flavor. The meat seemed more steamed than grilled, and not even vinegar or chili oil could save it for me. Other than that, everything else was fresh, flavorful, and worth coming back for.

Delightfully understated atmosphere with unique tiles throughout the decor, and we loved that we could hear each other talk and enjoy each other's company. Our server was amazing, she was so knowledgeable while being personable and extremely funny. I assume she's the cook's wife based on the other reviews - I arrived a little after my aunts, so I didn't get a full introduction since they had already secured a table and had ordered some drinks while looking over the menu. I had my eye on 3 different meat dishes - the Roasted Duck Breast, the New Zealand Lamb, and the Angus Beef Ribeye Steak - and my aunts also had each picked 1 of those, so we went family style, and it did not disappoint!! The chef knows how to cook each type of meat to perfection, and the searing pans are doing exactly what they need to be doing! The Roast Duck Breast was AMAZING as cooked to the recommended medium, with delicious crispy skin. The Angus Beef Ribeye Steak at medium rare was as tasty as it was gorgeous! And the New Zealand Lamb was PERFECTION, down to the bone. We also got the gourmet macaroni and cheese as an add-on side, since all the meals come with mashed potatoes and various veggies, and I was in heaven! As someone who used to work at the Disney Parks and frequented the steakhouses and other fine dining both here and in Orlando, Sage Bistro is giving Disney a run for its money when it comes to high-quality meat dishes! The prices reflect both the cut of the meats and the skill of preparation, with it averaging to about $50 each across the 3 of us, which is pretty reasonable for top-tier quality! The only thing I had to be careful about was that many of the dishes have mushrooms, and my throat gets itchy if I eat most mushrooms, so I had to avoid those dishes. During our meal, when I mentioned it to our server for future visits, she was great at noting which dishes could completely be modified to have no mushrooms while also being realistic about acknowledging the dishes that cannot be, which sadly includes the Braised Short Rib that sounds out of this world. But I can have the Beef Rib Soup, so I definitely want to try that next because I WILL BE BACK!!! They also offer takeaway, and were very generous in giving us each a coupon card to use for ordering through their website.
