Soy garlic is amazing here and their chicken wings are battered perfectly delivering a light and crispy bite. Their fries are just regular salted fries that do not come with the order. Their regular tteok-bokki is not overly sweet, is spicy, and generous amount of fish cake included too.

wasabi chicken

Here for the wasabi korean fried chicken nearby. It's basically just the classic no sauce with thinly sliced onion on top. The wasabi sauce comes in a sealed package. You can drizzle on top but we find dipping actually does a better job. Keeps it crispy if you don't finish for next day. We got half/half. The other half got the classic yangnyeom. Solid. The chicken are small so at least makes you feel like they're not injected with a bunch of hormones. Kinda hard to find the place if you're not looking for it. It's joint restaurant with sonheene.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was delicious. It's located inside a plaza, so there's a private lot with free parking. I got their bone-in chicken wings in the soy garlic and hot&spicy sauce. The pieces were substantial in size, with a nice crispy batter and tender meat. I don't like my chicken too saucy, and the bottom pieces of the wings were saucier than the ones on top. Overall it was still really good and retained the crispness of the batter. The store is a bit small, but with adequate dine-in seating. I'd come back here to try their other sauce flavors!

Chicken boneless bulgogi flavor

My roommate bought the whole chicken and boneless 2 flavors twice and they were good. However today when I bought the boneless 2 flavors, not only they were less tasty, but they didn't give me any radish. Quite disappointed with the service, but food is not bad.

I'm a little confused as to whether Twozone Chicken and Soonheene share the same owner or not (and why they are in the same space but have separate Yelp pages). So this review will be for the fried chicken only. We ordered the: 10 piece soy garlic wings - all my friends (except 1) did not like this. Firstly, we ordered the soy garlic, but they gave us spicy garlic so it was too spicy for me. Second, we all thought the chicken had a weird taste to it - like it tasted like chlorine or something. It was just a really weird taste. For me, the marinade/sauce was too salty and spicy. 10 piece honey butter wings - I thought the honey butter was delicious! The powder was sweet/savory and the chicken was plump and juicy. I don't think I would come back for the fried chicken. I really like BBQ chicken and I think BBQ chicken is more affordable for more chicken and the chicken tastes better. There's also no restroom here and barely any parking (most spots are limited to 5 or 30 minutes). We also ordered the mayak gimbap, rose teobbokki, and the seafood mungbean pancake - but I will keep my review for those in the Sooneheene Yelp page.

Definetly give this place a try! The food here are delicious. There are about 7 tables here mostly 4 seater or 2 seater. It isn't great for larger groups. You order first at the register and then take a seat. And after you are done you clean up yourself and return the dishes. I ordered the Tteokboki + Oden and half chicken with soy garlic flavor. All the food we got was so good. I love each one of the dishes we got. The soy garlic chicken was flavorful and the chicken was so juicy. I would come back whenever I crave korean food.

Onion chicken - was supposed to have a white sauce ("Mayo onion sauce") on it but I didn't receive any :(

New k-food spot in Arcadia! Had to stop in and try their wings and definitely wanted to try the onion chicken - the reviews made it look/sound so good! This is a TwoZone and it seems to be located inside a Soon Hee Ne Korean street food restaurant- they're doing a collab. I ordered the soy garlic bone-in wings and the boneless wings with onion sauce, and a side of rice - all to-go. The flavors are excellent here - and their wings are very meaty with a wonderful meat-to-breading ration. The soy garlic sauce on the wings was so savory and had a nice little kick to it. They list it as one-pepper on their spicy meter but I'd say it's between mild and medium. Their rice is lovely as well - very soft, fabulous texture and light flavor. Unfortunately I think I didn't receive the sauce that goes with the onion chicken? It was just dry fried chicken pieces with some onions on top. The menu says it comes with a Mayo-onion "sauce" and other pics/reviews show an actual white sauce but this didn't have any sauce we all - totally dry. So I'm not sure what happened there. Next time I'll definitely ask about that bc that was my main reason for coming in to try their menu. But I still had a great experience- the food was all very good and the staff were so so nice and welcoming and excited for me to try the food. The interior was really chill and clean and relaxing. I would definitely consider eating in. They even had some entertaining stuff playing on their Tv screen that made me giggle! It's located in a busy shopping center so there are lots of parking spaces but sometimes hard to find one bc of how busy it gets. But I didn't have any issues during late lunch time on a weekday. Overall good experience- will definitely be back to give the onion chicken another try and maybe try some items from the Soon Hee Ne menu that sounded good too!

WASABI BONELESS CHICKEN (YT:@BULGOGIBOMBER)

~~~ANNOINT YOUR CHICKEN WITH WASABI~~~ (YT:@BULGOGIBOMBER) WASABI BONELESS CHICKEN - Warning! This is a teetor toter. You will either love it or hate it. The green wasabi sauce looks like a work of art or a trash goop pile depending on the eyes of the beholder. Luckily, I happen to be on the positive side. This is a dish that has a kick and gives your nose a zinger from the wasabi sauce. Coupled with freshly cut onions, it gives off a refreshing flavor. I prefer this over the typical marinades that Korean Fried Chicken get dosed in because those tend to be for those who are chasing the greasy, oily, salty, sweet experience. The chicken was subpar and wasn't up to my crunchy standards but I admire the boldness to have this flavor experience available.
Dry, greasy, gross chicken
Hands down, this was the worst fried chicken I've had anywhere. It was dry, ultra greasy, and made my stomach and head ache after eating. The garlic soy sauce was not good. Way too sweet and weird. I'm shocked that anyone said this is the "best". This is truly the worst fried chicken. Go to "Side Chick" down the road for good fried chicken
I liked the gimbap and tteokbboki combo. Mayan gimbap was so good so I purchased one more to go. Also the sweet rice drink was so good which is not that sweet.
Sweet Rice Drink
* 10pc Fried (plain): comes with small side radish. crisp/fry outside similar to Popeyes or KFC. chicken was juicy and not dry. * Sauce Mixed Dipping Sauce: sweet and spicy, vinegar is very light. sauce itself is very thick. tastes less thick with the radish juice mixed in. * Sweet Rice Drink: first tastes is similar to sugar cane juice. weird aftertaste. - no public bathroom - drinks are self service, bus your own dishes - check in for free soft drink (coke, diet coke, sprite, sweet rice drink) or milk shaved ice (unavailable at time of visit) - 10pc a little too much for 1 person - twozone and soon hee ne are one restaurant entity
The chicken was good but don't think I would go back. It wasn't as flavorful as other chicken spots.
Great, tasting food. I especially like the wasabi sauce and tteok bokki. Somehow, it stays crispy after 46in drive home.
Called in my order on the way home and it was ready exactly in the time they said it would be. There is plenty of parking and inside had a good amount of tables to dine in. Ordered chicken, Lomo saltado and an aguadito. Everything was delicious, the chicken had a good char but not burnt and yet still very juicy. Rice and beans were flavorful and the beef was tender and not greasy. The chicken had a unique seasoning that I haven't tasted in the Peruvian style chicken before, but it was good and different. The place was busy and the staff were still friendly and managed to get everything in the order correct.
It also came with a side of tortilla and they give you a good amount of sauce to go with it. The chicken was flavorful with nice char and not very dry like a lot of rotisserie chicken (see picture). The rice was also seasoned and aromatic. The beans were just okay, a little watery. The red sauce had a strong kick and spicy in a good way. The aji was nice and had a bit of spice as well. The pico de gallo was standard and the chimichuri was okay. It's a smaller establishment with some seating inside, but seems most people take it to go. The place felt fairly full when we arrived. The staff were very friendly. Overall was about $37 with tax. Very good quality and quantity at that price!
I'd never been before, but I'd been wanting to try it for a long time. As soon as I walked in, I noticed two ordering kiosks with people waiting in line. Before I could even figure out what to do, a young lady with the biggest smile greeted me and asked if she could help. Her name was Patty. I told her it was my first visit, and she patiently explained the menu, especially the different spice levels. Since I enjoy spicy food, I confidently ordered the Hot level. Looking back... I may have been a little overconfident! When my food was ready, Patty brought it to my table with the same genuine smile she greeted me with. The food looked incredible, and the chicken was juicy and delicious--but after a few bites, I realized the Hot level was hotter than I had imagined. I laughed to myself and thought, "Next time, I'm definitely ordering one level lower." A few minutes later, Patty came back to check on me because it was my first visit. I told her the food was great, but I'd overestimated my spice tolerance. Without hesitation she said, "I'll change it for you." I immediately told her, "No, it's okay. I don't want you to waste food." She smiled and replied, "I want you to enjoy it." That simple statement really impressed me. In today's world, you don't hear that very often. It reminded me of something I had just read about Dave's Hot Chicken--"Keep us honest." Patty truly lived that philosophy. She wasn't just serving food; she genuinely wanted my first experience to be a great one. The food was excellent, but Patty's kindness and customer service made the experience memorable. That's the kind of employee every business hopes to have. I'll definitely be back--and hopefully Patty will be there again. Thank you, Patty, for making my first visit such a great one. You turned a first-time customer into a returning one.
I ordered a 'small' catering order meant to serve 8-10 people but still have leftovers two days…read morelater!! The fried chicken was very flavorful, a little salty, with a thicker coating reminiscent of KFC. The rice and beans were a big hit, and I think I liked it even more than the chicken. White corn tortillas were pretty standard and perfect for making "tacos" with everything. I appreciated the bottle of ketchup and cholula than came with the order too. Even more, I was able to adjust my pick up time (slight error on my part) and they were able to oblige (after contacting the WhatsApp number). This location is relatively new, complete with a drive thru and ample parking. The crew is comprised of a bunch of hardworking, diligent ladies who are doing their best to ensure a clean, well-stocked, and friendly environment. I will definitely be back :)
Ugh, terrible experience with online order…read more This is my first pollo campero. Saw it opened and had long crazy line day after day, so I figured I'll try it once the hype died down. Placed order on the website online. It said food would be ready in 10 minutes. Cool, or so I thought. Went there to pickup and they didn't even start making the order yet. Then 15 minutes later they told us the chicken breast wasn't available and asked if they could substitute with thigh, or we thought maybe that's what the guy said. They couldn't speak English and we couldn't speak Spanish. Go figure. Food was out 20 minutes after that. Seriously, I could've gotten something else that's not fast food and probably better for my arteries, within that time. What intrueged me was the yucca fries. I liked it but it lacked crunch, compared so some that I've had. Fries, omg probably the saddest, driest, limpiest, fries I've ever had. Even my toddler didn't like it (and he normally gobble up fries). The spicy chicken sandwich and grilled chicken were good. Crispy chicken on the fried + nice seasoning on the grilled. The chicken is the only reason I'm not giving this place a 1 or 2 stars.
