The fried chicken was very flavorful, a little salty, with a thicker coating reminiscent of KFC. The rice and beans were a big hit, and I think I liked it even more than the chicken. White corn tortillas were pretty standard and perfect for making "tacos" with everything. I appreciated the bottle of ketchup and cholula than came with the order too. Even more, I was able to adjust my pick up time (slight error on my part) and they were able to oblige (after contacting the WhatsApp number). Ugh, terrible experience with online order. This is my first pollo campero. Saw it opened and had long crazy line day after day, so I figured I'll try it once the hype died down. Placed order on the website online. It said food would be ready in 10 minutes. Cool, or so I thought. Went there to pickup and they didn't even start making the order yet. Then 15 minutes later they told us the chicken breast wasn't available and asked if they could substitute with thigh, or we thought maybe that's what the guy said. They couldn't speak English and we couldn't speak Spanish. Go figure. Food was out 20 minutes after that. Seriously, I could've gotten something else that's not fast food and probably better for my arteries, within that time. What intrueged me was the yucca fries. I liked it but it lacked crunch, compared so some that I've had. Fries, omg probably the saddest, driest, limpiest, fries I've ever had. I got their 4 piece meal with half fried and roasted chicken, beans, plantains, and tortillas. Yall know im a bean fiend and these beans were smooth, savory, and flavorful. The plantains were sweet, soft, caramalized, and a bit tart? Not really for me. The roasted chicken was super savory, flavorful, juicy, and actually really yummy. First and last time ever trying this place! First of all, I went after work on a Thursday. The place was empty. However, waiting for my order took roughly 25 minutes. Staff didn't look like they had a clue of what they were doing. The person on the cash register was an angel, but it was the people working the drive thru and in the back that were the issue Staff waited around, talked amongst themselves, and were blatantly scrolling on their phones. After staring at the staff who were behind the counter playing with their phones, they finally decided to do their jobs. After a 25 minute wait, I finally got my order. They actually gave me a free order of yuca fries as a form of compensation for my hassle. I thought maybe the food was worth the mediocre service, but somehow, it was actually more disappointing. I will say, ordering a 4 piece chicken and a spicy chicken sandwich totaled to around $24 which wasn't bad. The food, however, was terrible. The fries were cold and greasy. The chicken? Just as bad. Please, save yourself the trip and skip this place. If you really want to order from here, then I suggest drive thru. read more

Wow wow wow, it's been almost a week since the grand opening and there is still a line out the door. The anticipation is getting to me. I got the chicken classic sandwhich, 9pc nugget meal, 3pcs fried meal and a drink ( sold separately not included with the meals) The chicken sandwich and nuggets were pretty dry. The campero sauce is pretty much the chick fila / McDonald's gold sauce. The 3pc chicken meal was pretty good, dark meat goodness. Good flavor very juicy. 3 stars - super dry white meats ( stick to the dark meats) - forgot our 2 of our sides - after I got my 2 missing sides, I feel like they were only checking up my my table. (Like "how are we doing, anything I can get you?) The same person, I didn't see her on checking on any other tables I'll try this out again in a month or so and revisit this review. On that visit I think I'll get the 3pc chicken meal with rice and beans as sides with a regular drink. Glad I got to try this at least once, I've seen it before at the other location but wasn't sure if it'll be good. I went for dinner and my gosh the drive thru cars were sort of blocking the parking lot but luckily a staff came out. They helped direct cars and get us a spot! But mainly someone was leaving so we got lucky because it was packed. When we entered there's plenty of seating, the colors are bright, it looked like a very cleanable chain fast food restaurant and so many workers that day the kitchen was packed! There was a pretty long line, staff spoke both Spanish and English so they can help everyone with complex questions! Someone's if the line is too long another staff will step in with a tablet and take orders in the line. We ordered the 3 piece meal fried with fries, coleslaw and dinner roll, campero chicken sandwich by itself ($7.90), and the 9 piece nugget meal with yuca fries and dinner rolls. You can choose tortilla or rolls. We also ordered a drink because the meals don't come with it! But they have other drink selections other than soda such as horchata and jimaica. It's table side service if you dine in, they give you a number placard and you sit down and a staff will bring you a tray of the food. Unfortunately they forgot the rolls and our ranch so we had to go back up and ask for them. The fried chicken (leg and thighs) were so crispy, juicy, and tender. It was so good, better than the chicken meat from the nuggets and sandwich which were a bit dry. The fries were good but the tuna fries were thick and starchy so definitely a chewy dense experience that works well with ranch and campero sauce. We made our own sandwiches with the rolls and nuggets. The campero sauce is like other chicken dipping sauce which is good but similar to Chick-fil-A flavor than raising canes. I would say the table service is great, the staff will help clean your table and ask if everything is ok and if we need anything. There is only one small hole for a trash can near the drink fountain, I didn't see others so you need to have staff clear your tray for you. Restrooms need a code but it's clean, unisex, and individual rooms. Overall pretty good, I would come again for the fried chicken legs and thighs. They have a rewards app as well, but not sure when I'll come back but this is a nice place to try once especially the fried chicken! read more

Love, the fact that they offer fried and charbroiled, both are delicious! Love the variety of sides, the beans are my favorite! Great addition to the local community! We got the 12 piece family meal with sides, it was absolutely amazing! The chicken was juicy and just right.
