My only negative comment about this place, is that I wish this place was closer to my house. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and beef combo plate and oh my goodness this was absolutely delicious. The beef was so tender and amazingly seasoned and paired with the teriyaki sauce. The young lady that took my order was so bubbly and you can tell that she was genuinely happy to work there. I found this place off of tik tok and wanted to support a small community business, and I am glad that I was able to try this spot. Let it be known, that everyone needs to try this place and get the combo plate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can sit outside behind the stand and enjoy your food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, this place was absolutely delicious and I would give it a 10 star if I could

I recently started a new job in Monrovia and have been driving past this place for a few weeks now. The online ordering system was easy to use. I set a pickup time for 5pm. When I arrived at my designated time, the cashier told me that they had accidentally read my online order wrong. They'd made my food TWO HOURS EARLY. I didn't think anything of it at the time. The cashier was very friendly and apologetic. I decided to have my dinner on their back patio. Small, but that was to be expected. The table was dirty so I had to wipe it down with my own sanitary wipes. The food was lukewarm at best. I'd ordered the teriyaki beef tacos and for the price, I wasn't expecting a whole lot. The meat was dry, but not unpleasant. It would have been more enjoyable if the meal was piping hot as it was supposed to be at my designated pickup time. Overall, it was nice to finally try this place. But I don't think I'll return.

I tried this place for the first time after living in Monrovia for years. I must say I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the number five, which is the beef and chicken combo. The dish had a weird smell and the food also had a slightly weird taste and texture. The beef was the texture of can dog food or minced beef. It's hard to explain and I was so thrown off by the smell. I couldn't really enjoy the chicken. Unfortunately, I will not be returning . Eat here at your own risk.

We wanted to try this small, family-owned business that we've driven past for years! The service was very friendly. We ordered at the window and they brought our food out to us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a small outdoor seating area, mostly covered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried the curry and teriyaki and enjoyed both. Both were tasty, although the curry is a bit spicy and not a Japanese curry, so just to be aware. The chicken is dark meat and there is a generous portion of rice and vegetables. My son had the beef and said it was good. We enjoyed our lunch here!

Nice little corner takeout restaurant. ISeating on the side, amazing customer service. We were offered a side of curry sauce to try, and it was to die for. The curry sauce was amazing. The chicken teriyaki was perfectly cooked, not overcooked one bit. Shredded beef was perfectly seasoned, nice and tender as well. Love how much rice they give you, perfectly portioned. Definitely will be back.

Great spot in Monrovia! I have been living in Duarte for 25 years and have never been to this place (shame on me). A friend recently recommended me to try it out and so I decided to finally stop by my Fiancé and cousin. Boy have I been missing out - the Teriyaki and Curry sauce are both amazing! Hands down one of the best teriyakis I have ever tried. The curry is savory, rich, and has a nice little kick - as a spice lover, it was the perfect amount of heat. Both Chicken and Beef were melt in your mouth tender, juicy, and flavorful. The service was amazing as well, a nice young lady rung us up and the gentleman there (owner?) recognized that we had never been there before, and was kind enough to let us try both sauces. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cozy/laid back spot with great service and great food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So long Yoshinoya, hello B&C! I've been coming here for 22 years, and the quality and taste has always stayed consistent! Everything is made fresh to order. The meat is so tender, juicy, and flavorful. I get the beef teriyaki bowl with no veggies, and that's been my go to since 2002. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is one of those hidden gem mom and pop owned places to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're in town, def go check them out! Thank you John for always providing the best customer service, food, and always asking how my family is doing. You are so kind and you can tell how much pride you take in your business!

I got all hyped about this place via social media and wanted to support the young owner. Unfortunately the food missed the mark. I was expecting grilled meat but the meat tasted boiled/steamed. They also skimped on their portions and gave me too much rice. The owner is charismatic and sold me on this place. Maybe they're having an off day. I drove out of my way from south east SGV. Thìs is not your standard teriyaki bowl. I would suggest grilling or charbroiling your meats. Maybe they're still working on perfecting their craft. I would give thìs place a 3.8 stars. There's room for improvement.

Lobster: we enjoyed the Colette special sauce, it was aromatic with the basil, good level of spice, and lobster meat was cooked perfect. Salt and pepper calamari: great crunch, wish it had a little more salt & pepper & garlic seasoning most pieces weren't coated, but the calamari texture had the perfect chew. Crispy vermicelli with beef: loved the crispy noodles and soft beef stir fry textures together, definitely ask for chili oil with this dish, it needs that extra umph of flavor for the noodles. Salted egg yolk pumpkin: I normally love this dish, only wished the outside was crispier, got soggy fast and with how thick these are cut you want the crispy exterior, but flavor was good. Whenever I come to these type of restaurants, I usually order the same type of items. The chicken and corn over rice at this restaurant was just OK. They opened and closed the door for us which was a nice touch because it was busy inside. We ordered the pork ramen, pork buns, and pork soup dumplings. On to the food! Pork Ramen: 3/5 They give you a hefty amount of noodles and pork. They use a thin noodle here which pairs well with the broth. I truly do believe this was around average for ramen as the flavor in the broth was not as strong or savory. The highlight of the entire entree was definitely the pork, which was tender and flavorful. I probably would not order this again. Pork bun: 5/5 The pork buns were soft and fluffy, almost too good looking to eat. There was the right amount of soup and meat inside that made for a wonderful bite full of flavor. Not dry at all.
