KEN MADE OUR EXPERIENCE TONIGHT UNFORGETTABLE. Thank you for being so incredible. My boyfriend and I appreciate you so much. If you're looking for fresh and delicious food - look no further. The spicy noodle soup is UNBEATABLE. Wonderful staff and food. What more could you ask for? Thank you for always being so accommodating!

Noodle St. is a California-based restaurant chain specializing in authentic handmade Chinese noodles, founded by Chinese immigrants in 2017. The restaurant serves as a popular hub in the Vons Plaza near Old Town area, often drawing large crowds for its immersive open-kitchen concept where diners can watch chefs hand-pulled and cut noodles. Customers can customize their dishes by selecting from four distinct noodle textures and shapes: standard round, thin flat, triangular, and knife-cut. The restaurant features a cozy, casual interior with large wooden tables and both indoor and outdoor seating options. Service was fast and efficient. Their Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, Scallion Pancakes, and Beef Roll Pancakes are our favorite dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious. However, the broth of the noodle soup can sometimes be overly oily. The noodles and scallion pancakes can be undercooked sometimes too. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, providing ample parking.

Feeling under the weather and needed a beef noodle soup to get over the cold. Ordered the following: 1. Beef Scallion Pancake Wrap 2. Spicy Noodle Soup The service was fast and friendly. The flavors are nostalgic and filling.

My first time at a Noodle Street but it's my neice's favorite. Her first time at this location. Usually going to Chino or Fullerton location. This one is in a grocery store plaza, next to Vons, with plenty of free parking. Larger than some of the other locations with open kitchen in back. Service was quick and helpful. Menu is larger than other locations per my neice. She wanted her favorite dan dan noodles but they were out! So she tried something new- Japanese Miso Noodle soup w knife cut noodles- which she said was hood but not as much as her fav. I ordered the savory chicken noodle. The server asked if I'm ok with numbing spicy. I asked for it on the side and glad I did. I like chili spice but not that mala spice. There was plenty of chicken. It was ok but next time will try something else. Did love the chewiness of the knife cut noodles!

This Noodle St is located in the Vons Plaza near the Old Town Monrovia area. There's plenty of parking, which is important because the restaurant seems to get popular during the weekend. As I pass by during lunch and dinner times, the tables are all usually filled. The interior felt cozy and had plenty of tables for small-mid sized parties. The service was friendly, fast, and transparent. When asking for recommendations, they explained their reasonings and the dish's flavors well. I tried two soup noodle dishes. The Dan Dan noodles ($15.50) had kale, ground beef, and a more heavily seasoned broth. The signature beef noodle ($15.50) was a lighter broth with a few slices of beef, and plenty of herbs. Each were very flavorful in different ways. For both dishes, I had a choice of which noodles I wanted. I went with the standard round. They were long, chewy, and perfectly cooked. Although delicious and the portions were perfect per person, it wasn't mind blowing. Additionally, I wish there was more of the toppings. For instance, there just wasn't a lot of protein in either dishes I tried. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the service was great. I highly recommend coming here to try their amazing noodle soup broth. Next time I'd love to try their other noodle dishes.

I gave Noodle St another chance and so glad that I did! The Spicy Beef Noodle soup (with Triangle noodle) was SO DELICIOUS! The noodle had the perfect chewy texture and the beef was so soft and tender. Broth was also a 10/10. I also ordered the Soup Shao Long Bao and that was an 8/10. Service was a 10/10! The hostess was so friendly! I finished my iced tea quickly due to the spiciness of the broth and had to order another drink - but my waiter was super honest and said it was a complimentary refill for my iced-tea. I was so happy :) The restaurant was so clean and nicely decorated. Ambiance was an 8/10! I highly recommend Noodle St in Monrovia and most likely be back next week!

This location of Noodle St in Monrovia was a great location and convenient to find. We had visited the location inside the Santa Anita mall before and this location has a much different vibe in a good way. The location is located walking distance from Downtown Monrovia and it's location in shopping center next to Vons supermarket. There's plenty of parking in this complex. Noodle St here in Monrovia had great customer service. The staff greeted and seated us very quickly. They utilized the Yelp check in table for seating just an FYI. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff works efficiently. They took our orders and within 5-10 minutes all the entrees were served. The location was packed on a Friday night. We decided to try a few items this time around. -Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - $16.50 -Chicken Noodle Soup - $14.50 -Lamb Skewers (3pc) - $9.50 -Garlic String Beans - $11.50 The noodle soups were both very abundant in portion and served in big bowls. The broths are why the Noodle St brand is slowly becoming a great option for us now. The broths are light in nature and pack a bunch of flavors. The spicy beef noodle for me was on point. It was not too spicy and the beef pieces were perfectly tender. Lamb skewers and string bean both tasty options to pair with the soups. Overall, this location of Noodle St had some of best customer service and each waiter had smiles on their faces the whole time. Very welcoming and positive experience.

Plenty of parking spaces. I ordered the Stir Fry where you can chose your own protein and vegetables. I got Pork, Small Flat (noodle type), corn, tofu, carrot, and Shittake mushroom Stir Fry. It came out pretty quick and was a big portion. The Stir Fry were sweet though, I preferred it not to be so sweet, but other than that, it was good. Recommendation(s): - Stir Fry (but it is on the sweeter side) Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Plenty of parking spaces - Restrooms available

Visitation Rights: Been to this location twice, but I've patronized the Santa Anita Mall location many times. Restroom: They're available. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Location/Parking: Located in a plaza on the corner SW corner of Myrtle and Foothill. Next to San Fernando Coffee Co.. A decent amount of parking is available. If you don't see any spaces closer to the restaurant, you'll have to park further away and walk to the shop. Ambiance/Decor: Alright ambiance with modern furnishings. There's also couple of tables outside to dine on. Service: Service is not great. The last time we patronized the shop, it took us about 10 minutes to get our menu/order. Food Of Choice: 1) Dan Dan Noodles: The dan dan noodles at this shop is made differently. It's soup form and there's no peanut sauce or crushed peanuts. I was a bit thrown off by how it was made. Don't get me wrong, it was still good... but was hoping for the peanut pasted and crushed peanuts. 2) Cucumbers Salad: Appetizer was very good and much appreciated palate cleanser. 3) Beef Rolls: Beef rolls were okay. Definitely will ask next time for more mustard greens on the side. Noodle Street For Thought: Experience was okay, but if I want Noodle St. I'll probably stick with the location at the Santa Anita Mall. Service is better.

Great experience at Noodle St - Monrovia. We were seated right away and the service was consistently attentive and friendly. My friends and I ordered the potato string shrimp, chicken noodle soup, Japanese miso noodle soup and the cha-shu pork fried rice. Everything was absolutely scrumptious. The winner, for me, was the Japanese miso noodle soup. The broth was well seasoned and so hearty. The pork was so tender as well.

    Scallion Pancake
    Brenda C.

This place is pretty tasty! I recommend to try. The scallion is very crispy and tasty. The spicy chicken wontons are very filling. Def. more protein then the ones you get from Din Tai Fung. Noodles where chewy and good flavor. Bathroom is very clean. Fast service as well! Parking: plenty of parking in the plaza.

I only found out about this Noodle St Monrovia from my friend. She highly recommended it for their Korean BBQ beef with rice. Thank you my friend. Unfortunately, I don't eat beef anymore. But that did not stop us from dining here for dinner. Menu had a good selections of various items. Staff was super patient with us while we were deciding on what to order. My friend knew exactly what she wanted... her favorite Korean BBQ beef with rice. Since it was my first time here, I went with the Dan-dan with small flat noodle. You can choose from 4 different types of noodles from standard round (chewy), small flat (chewier), triangle (chewier), knife cut (chewiest). We both shared the scallion pancake. Water as our drink of choice. Staff was very attentive throughout our dining. They came over from time to time to check on us. Food came out timely. Korean BBQ beef with rice did look very tasty. As for my Dan-dan noodle, it was soup based and not dry which was different than what I'm used to. It was delicious though. Noodles had the right texture. Soup flavor was on point. Portion was decent. Now the highlight of our meal was the scallion pancake IMHO. It was SO GOOD! Thick, flaky, and crispy with amazing scallion flavor. I have to admit it was the best scallion pancake I have ever eaten. Next time we'll have to get 2 orders for here LOL. I had to get an order of the scallion pancake to-go plus a few mores dishes... spicy chicken wontons, Japanese miso noodle soup, pan-fried cabbage and pork dumplings. Both my daughters enjoyed their foods. I highly recommend this Noodle St. I will definitely be back to try their other noodle dishes the next time I'm in Old Town Monrovia. Thank you Noodle St for sharing your delicious dishes with us!

I placed my order through their website and ordered the original Nagoya Mazesoba non-spicy with poached egg (15.29). I selected the earliest pick up time and then headed to the restaurant a few minutes before. However, to my surprise, the staff told me that my order wasn't ready yet and would need another 10 to 15 minutes. This is already after the 15 minutes of the promised due time when I placed my order, so I had no choice but to wait outside the store. This made my experience annoying because now I waited a total 25 minutes for my food. They should not have put an asap ordering with a due time if their kitchen wouldn't be able to meet the time. It seemed to me that their kitchen forgot to cook my order until I arrived at the store and they noticed the order, because my order was ready 10 minutes after I arrived and waited outside. The only good thing is the staff was nice enough to bring out my food instead of letting me go inside to get it after the time they told me passed. This is why I had to drop a star in my review. As for the noodles, it is similar to my memory of how it tasted. The sauce is very flavorful and a bit greasy as you get to the last couple bites. But the portion is still a bit small and also the noodle texture seemed not as chewy and soft. It might be because it is takeout or the kitchen was in a rush to cook it. But overall it was just alright and not as good as I remembered. If I do come again, I will dine in to see if the noodles taste any better. Because of this, I definitely would just recommend dining in. Dining in also gets the free bowl of rice.

I really loved the shrimp fried rice and the beef dumplings, but my favorite was the wide noodle dish with mixed meats. It was incredibly flavorful and hit all the right notes. I actually ordered it after noticing another table enjoying the same dish. Honestly, their reactions said everything and it absolutely lived up to the expectation. The owner was warm and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. The restaurant itself is very clean, with bright lighting and a modern aesthetic that makes it feel inviting. Parking is also convenient, with plenty of space available in the back garage. All in all, it's a spot I'd recommend for anyone looking to try authentic flavors from the Xi'an region.

Food: Ordered the house noodle soup with thick yellow noodles and rice noodles. Unfortunately, the flavors do not taste the same as they did in their old location. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Service: The staff is nice. This is a very small operation compared to their old site so there is just one person handling everything outside. Environment: The store location is horrible in that if you're coming from the East it is hard to access. The parking lot is horrible and with very limited space. The restaurant's bathroom is outside the restaurant....This site is a complete hole in the wall and not in a good way... Price: Still very affordable. Food: 3 Service: 4 Environment: 2 Price: 4

New location, same yummy food! I had gone to the original Macky's in Monrovia for years, so I was…read moredefinitely happy to hear they were back. I always order the Pork Kidney & Shrimp with either rice vermicelli (A) or flat rice noodles (C). The kidney is fresh with generous portions, pairing nicely with the light broth. It's a very comforting dish, and I find myself craving it quite often. Small note, but if you get it for takeout like I usually do, be careful when transporting it since the soup has leaked a few times for me. Their Taiwanese Beef Noodle is also worth trying. The broth is on the thicker, rich side, with a flavorful spice and large cuts of tender beef. The noodles are wide and chewy, which are my personal favorite for beef noodle soups. The shop itself may look small and unassuming, but their food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Please come and support this mom and pop shop, you won't be disappointed!
