This is the second time that I have eaten here, coming on a Saturday with a beautiful sunny day, and meeting up with a couple of girlfriends, one of whom I hadn't seen in eight years! We cheerfully ordered several dishes to share, it was plenty enough food for us. There was enough parking spaces at the Arcadia Westfield Mall, especially if you drive to the first or second level down below street level. The Noodle Street menu has a good selection of noodle dishes and delicious side dishes, the wait staff are nice and friendly, and there was no waiting time for our party of three when we arrived separately. The noodles are cooked freshly upping your order, and you can see one of the chefs shaving the block of dough for the knife cut noodles, he was slicing the noodles pieces into long strips 3" to 4" by 3/8" long. The noodles are nice, thick, and chewy, and I ordered the beef noodle with some tendons, asking for less spiciness for the soup that we shared, each person with our own bowl. The steamed wontons in chili sauce were also nice and chewy with a nice chili oil, yummy. We had the traditional beef rolls, I adored for extra housin sauce, plus we ordered a glass noodle dish that was lightly spicy, and quite delicious. This is a good place to walk around the mall after your meal while you're digesting the food, then we headed to the outside part of the mall to a boba shop called 3Cat, which I heard is famous. Check out the restaurant, you won't be disappointed with the variety of tasty dishes, then you can go walking to the various shops, hang out with your friends while catching up on your lives after that good meal, and then you can sit at the 3Cat place for a milk tea with panne cotta. All in all, the food is good, the atmosphere is good, the staff are nice, and it's a good place to socialize. Enjoy your meal!

Came here bc like was very long at DTF and we were cold and hungry. We were seated right away on a weekend evening after 7p. This was super chill and casual sit down out in the mall. Ordered the signature beef middle soup -- food came out decently fast: noodles and beef were good. Not too salty. If you share it they even give you scissors to cut the noodles and beef too. There wasn't any veggies at all. The beef roll was a bit disappointing -- it's a 3 out of 5 for me. Flavors are ok. Overall service was prompt, though pretty pricey for noodles and beef imho, but it's a decent alternative when you have Live action noodles in the making that you can see through the window :)

After a day of shopping at the mall, we went to noodle st. We ordered the bone in rib knife cut noodle soup and the clear (but not actually clear) cold noodles. Service was quick and I loved my noodle soup and especially the clear noodle!!! Beware of the chili ooo splatters but they do offer a bib if you want. The wait was not too long and not too loud even though it's at the mall. This is the 3rd location I tried. First was in Pasadena and then Monrovia.

Noodle St is a popular chain established in 2017, while they have many Southern California spots, their original location is in Fullerton, CA. They're known for making hand-pulled noodles in-house in various textures and shapes, including round, flat, triangular, and knife-cut noodles. Service was decent. The restaurant is located in a mall next to Din Tai Fung and Uncle Tetsu in an open space. It's a casual dining area. Their scallion pancakes were crispy and flaky, it's phenomenal! We had 3 orders of them! The spicy beef noodle soup was rich and flavorful. The beef was tender and the hand-pulled noodles have a wonderful chewy texture. The braised chicken knife noodles were very savory. It's big enough for two people to share! The cucumber salad, garlic string beans, and beef rolls pancakes were all delicious as well. Haven't had anything bad here and I've been here quite a few times. We enjoyed every dish down to the last bite :)

I've been here probably 20+ times and I always order the Egg with Tomato Noodle. The knife cut noodles are consistently cooked perfectly with that satisfying QQ texture, and the broth is balanced between umami and subtle sweetness. The portions are filling without being too heavy, and the price is good. This is my go to comfort meal on a cold day. I usually order for takeout, but the interior seems clean and the staff is always kind!

Had a great experience here. No wait Sunday night and we were sat immediately. The food came out fast and had so much good flavor for a decent price. The noodle quality is rlly good too!! Only downside is they ran out of calamari and fried tofu which were 2 items we rlly wanted lol

My family and I went to the Shops at Santa Anita (Arcadia Mall) to find a good location to eat, but most of the restaurants were packed and had long waits on Saturday night. The only restaurant where we discovered no need to wait is Noodle St. Restaurant. We ordered Cucumber Salad, Chicken Noodle Soup, Beef Fried Rice, Beef Roll Pancake, and Qinghai Clear Cold Noodles. All of the foods we ordered were great with the exception of the Cucumber Salad, which was not marinated long enough and had no taste, and the Beef Fried Rice, which was on the sweet side. But, overall, the dinner is good.

I came here for lunch with my co worker. It was a rainy afternoon. I ordered the signature beef noodle soup in knife cut noodles. The service was great and the food came quickly. The broth is amazingly satisfying with beef flavor and the fragrance of green onions and cilantro. The beef is deliciously tender. The knife cut noodles are very chewy. When I crave for a good bowl of noodles, Noodles Street is around the corner.

Walked around the mall and had cravings for noodles. Didn't want to wait in line for DTF and decided to try Noodle Street. Service is prompt. The signature beef noodle with knife cut noodles was so good! I liked the flavors of the broth and the chewiness of the noodles. The green beans were super garlicky while the scallion pancakes were a bit doughy but still crispy. Overall, I was satisfied with my meal and would come back again.

Noodle st has always been one of our go to quick and easy choices for Chinese dining. My fiancé and I were seated extremely fast and received amazing service from the time we sat. The food also came out so quick and fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite. The star of the show was the beef roll pancake, and I suggest you order two because it is just delicious! The Korean bbq was also great, but I wish there was just a little more meat on the dish itself. The location in the mall is also very quaint and chill, but it can get especially busy on the weekends so be prepared. Love this spot and cannot wait to order more food next visit to the mall!

[July 27, 7:50PM] One of my go-to restaurants at Santa Anita Mall. Prices are fair for the portion and quality. The space is limited and can be crowded during busy hours. My order: - Egg with Tomato Noodle ($14.80): Flavorful with perfect balance between the sour and sweet. Every strand is coated with rich tomato juice, satisfying to slurp up. Not a fan of knife cut noodles, so I requested standard round instead. - Oolong milk tea ($5.80): Surprisingly fragrant. The cup is large size (see photo for cup comparison). Downside: no topping. Final thought: Not the type of restaurant I'd go out of my way for. Generic menu item, nothing groundbreaking, just a reliable option when I am in the mall.

Service was good. Immediately seated and drinks served not long after. Food was delicious too. Price decent. Place small but food came out fast. Everything was good.

SIGNATURE BEEF NOODLE SOUP! ( ^_^)b
    Kevin M.

First off, shout outs to the staff for letting us dine in right around closing time. We really appreciated the gesture since we were walking around the mall we decided on a late night bite to eat. Our server Jason was professional and attentive. We decided to share the Signature Beef Noodle Soup with standard round noodles. The price was $15.50. The order was taken and the soup came out fast! The location is right by Din Tai Fung and there's a lot of seating. The soup was really good! They have chili oil and vinegar to adjust your spice levels and taste. The broth was very light and packed with major flavor. The bowl is good enough to share and they give you scissors to cut your noodles. We enjoyed the beef noodle soup immensely. We'd definitely come back to try some other options. Thank you Noodle St for the great dining experience!

We ordered the tom yum noodle soup, pork collar, papaya salad, shrimp ceviche, and the captain whatever curry. Unfortunately, the tom yum noodle soup and the curry were especially underwhelming. Both dishes lacked the bold, balanced flavors that define Thai cuisine--there was no real heat, tanginess, sweetness, or depth. When I go to a Thai or Thai-inspired restaurant, I expect vibrant, layered flavors, but what we received tasted muted and almost as if key ingredients were missing. It honestly made me wonder if there had been a mistake in the kitchen. The service didn't help improve the experience. Our server rarely checked in on us--no one asked if we needed napkins or refills, and empty or untouched plates were left sitting on the table far too long. When I brought up the issue with the lack of flavor, there was little acknowledgment and nothing was done to address the concern or make things right. Overall, the combination of bland food and inattentive service made for a frustrating dining experience. Side Note: It should've been obvious to me when I saw that there weren't any Asian patrons that this place would be a disappointment. Shame on this "Michelin-starred" chef.

I placed my order through their website and ordered the original Nagoya Mazesoba non-spicy with poached egg (15.29). I selected the earliest pick up time and then headed to the restaurant a few minutes before. However, to my surprise, the staff told me that my order wasn't ready yet and would need another 10 to 15 minutes. This is already after the 15 minutes of the promised due time when I placed my order, so I had no choice but to wait outside the store. This made my experience annoying because now I waited a total 25 minutes for my food. They should not have put an asap ordering with a due time if their kitchen wouldn't be able to meet the time. It seemed to me that their kitchen forgot to cook my order until I arrived at the store and they noticed the order, because my order was ready 10 minutes after I arrived and waited outside. The only good thing is the staff was nice enough to bring out my food instead of letting me go inside to get it after the time they told me passed. This is why I had to drop a star in my review. As for the noodles, it is similar to my memory of how it tasted. The sauce is very flavorful and a bit greasy as you get to the last couple bites. But the portion is still a bit small and also the noodle texture seemed not as chewy and soft. It might be because it is takeout or the kitchen was in a rush to cook it. But overall it was just alright and not as good as I remembered. If I do come again, I will dine in to see if the noodles taste any better. Because of this, I definitely would just recommend dining in. Dining in also gets the free bowl of rice.

I was surprised to read here on Yelp that the original famed chef left for a few years and recently returned, because I did not notice any major changes in the quality of the dishes I usually order. The current manager was my waiter this time, and he said that staffing has been a challenge; he himself also worked here, left , and returned. Colette offers a somewhat non-traditional, somewhat elevated menu, not as varied as other Chinese places, although they do offer dim sum and lunch specials. Note the menu on the website is old and kind of obsolete; the newer menu, which is laminated and has photos, is more extensive. The dish I always order is their fabulous chayote minced pork. I've also ordered their live lobster when I have a hankering. They have the lobsters and crabs in tanks on view, priced per pound. They can prepare it in several ways; I always choose stir-fried with ginger and scallions and add noodles. They also have some specialty dishes like winter melon soup that you must order in advance. I ordered 3 other dishes, only one for the first time. That was honey-glazed beef cubes. Slices of beef covered in sliced almonds on a bed of asparagus with an orange sauce that was similar to orange marmalade. Tasty and unique. The other 2 dishes that I've had before were the golden yolk luffa and the goo-loo pork (aka sweet and sour pork). Luffa is a gourd (like a cucumber) that is edible when young, but turns into the fibrous sponges we bathe with when mature. It's slighty bitter, here stir-fried with salted egg yolk. The pork was pretty traditional, slightly elevated with the addition of strawberries. For me, a reliable neighbourhood spot for Chinese. I hope they can keep it together.
