    SAVORY BRAISED CHICKEN NOODLE
    Karen L.

We went on a Friday afternoon but because it was a holiday we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, braised chicken with noodles, scallion pancakes and spicy chicken wontons. We asked for mild on the beef noodle soup but it wasn't spicy at all. Luckily they do provide chili sauce at the table to adjust the spice level. The flavor was a little cilantro/mint forward and it was a little on the salty side. The braised chicken wasn't that spicy either. It was tender and the flavor was good. The scallion pancakes were a little dense and didn't have much flavor to it. Our favorite of our dishes was the chicken dumplings. I think I could have eaten 2 orders of this dish. Overall the speed of service was good. They provide bibs to wear which I would highly recommend wearing since you do end up with splatters from eating noodles. The open space of the restaurant was a little distracting but clean.

It's been awhile since ive had this place and id really shocked how great everything was. The beef rolls were really flavorful, but slightly too much cilantro for me but still really yummy. The spicy wontons were really great full of flavor and not too spicy. The tomato egg over rice is such a classic Taiwanese dish and this place does it really well. I honestly think this is probably the best food spot in the mall other then ramen nagi. The prices are super reasonable, the service was really fast but couldve been that it was just empty when i went.

Definitely recommend dining in rather than taking out! Decided to give this spot another try and I had a much better experience eating at the restaurant than ordering takeout! Arrived on a Saturday at noon and it was slightly busy but service was attentive and friendly. Loved that the open kitchen setup so I could see the staff making the noodles from scratch! Got the Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup ($16.50) and I really enjoyed it. I loved that the spice level could be adjusted so I got the mild. There were 4 different noodle options - standard round, flat, knife cut, and triangle. I got the knife cut and it was so fresh and chewy. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty or spicy. Wish there were more chunks of beef shank and tendon but not a big deal! Really enjoyed how the beef tendon was very tender and not too fatty. However, the beef shank was a bit too dry and rough in texture for my preference. Overall, I enjoyed the noodles and the broth, as well as the beef tendon! The Signature Beef Noodle Soup ($15.50) was good. Really enjoyed the noodles since I got knife cut so it was very fresh and chewy! Definitely recommend their knife cut noodles! The broth was slightly too salty and I wasn't a big fan of the broth because it tasted a bit minty due to some of the herbs and spices used perhaps? I didn't like the beef since it was too dry and rough but I still ate it all because I don't like wasting food. Overall, I definitely enjoyed the Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup more than the Signature Beef Noodle Soup. Also, I liked the noodles much more than the broth and beef.

From the variety of Asian resturants located in The Shops at Santa Anita, Noodle St is one of my favorites. Normally there is a little wait, but not exceptionally lengthy like Din Tai Fung around the corner. At your seating area there is a bar of chilli oil and I think either soy sauce or vinegar- which I thought was nice. The Signature Beef Noodle Soup brings comfort and hearty taste and chewy delicious noodles- there are 4 types of noodles to choose, but I always get standard round. The stir fry chicken noodles are also a yunmy staple. The standout of the menu is the Beef Roll Pancakes- absolutely my favorite beef roll pancake I've ever tried so far- you MUST order it. There is even a window where people can see chefs cooking up and cutting up noodles. Orders come out fast paced so if you're super hungry run over to Noodle St.

Noodle street has some of the best noodles trust me when I say that because I'm a ho for noods. we ordered the Chicken noodle soup and Spicy Beef noodle soup. The knife cut noodles were sooo chewy I absolutely loved it. It's usually busy on the weekend, but it was quite empty when I went. Service was quick and good. Food came out in like 10-15 min. Total for the two bowls were ~$35. Definitely recommending ‍

Stopped in for a quick meal. Service was prompt and friendly. Enjoyed the signature beef noodle soup but wished there was more beef. Only came with a few slices. Broth was rich and flavorful with the added chili oil and dark vinegar. Came with lots of fresh noodles. You have a choice of: standard round, flat, triangle and knife. The fresh watermelon juice was a great way to end the meal. So sweet and refreshing.

Small open space for Noodle St at the mall right across from Din Tai Fung. Easy to spot and find with delicious handmade and fresh noodles! Pros: -fast service. Received take out order within 15min from ordering at the cashier. Food is packaged nicely and neatly. -delicious food -variety of handmade cut noodles -fresh watermelon juice -open space for table seating makes it feel free -service is friendly -big bonus - own restroom!! Cons: -none I wish they offered a lunch special on weekdays!!

Egg Tomato Handcut Noodles is my absolute favorite! I always get this with a watermelon juice when I'm in town

This is still my favorite go to noodle place. I always order the egg and tomato knife cut noodles. The peach black tea tastes just like Snapple back in the 90s. So nostalgic. The green onion pancake is 5/5. I can munch on these as snack all day. DD loves her dry noodles with minced meat and watermelon juice which can now be sweetened. Came here for an early dinner. No wait. Great service.

This is the second time that I have eaten here, coming on a Saturday with a beautiful sunny day, and meeting up with a couple of girlfriends, one of whom I hadn't seen in eight years! We cheerfully ordered several dishes to share, it was plenty enough food for us. There was enough parking spaces at the Arcadia Westfield Mall, especially if you drive to the first or second level down below street level. The Noodle Street menu has a good selection of noodle dishes and delicious side dishes, the wait staff are nice and friendly, and there was no waiting time for our party of three when we arrived separately. The noodles are cooked freshly upping your order, and you can see one of the chefs shaving the block of dough for the knife cut noodles, he was slicing the noodles pieces into long strips 3" to 4" by 3/8" long. The noodles are nice, thick, and chewy, and I ordered the beef noodle with some tendons, asking for less spiciness for the soup that we shared, each person with our own bowl. The steamed wontons in chili sauce were also nice and chewy with a nice chili oil, yummy. We had the traditional beef rolls, I adored for extra housin sauce, plus we ordered a glass noodle dish that was lightly spicy, and quite delicious. This is a good place to walk around the mall after your meal while you're digesting the food, then we headed to the outside part of the mall to a boba shop called 3Cat, which I heard is famous. Check out the restaurant, you won't be disappointed with the variety of tasty dishes, then you can go walking to the various shops, hang out with your friends while catching up on your lives after that good meal, and then you can sit at the 3Cat place for a milk tea with panne cotta. All in all, the food is good, the atmosphere is good, the staff are nice, and it's a good place to socialize. Enjoy your meal!

Came here bc like was very long at DTF and we were cold and hungry. We were seated right away on a weekend evening after 7p. This was super chill and casual sit down out in the mall. Ordered the signature beef middle soup -- food came out decently fast: noodles and beef were good. Not too salty. If you share it they even give you scissors to cut the noodles and beef too. There wasn't any veggies at all. The beef roll was a bit disappointing -- it's a 3 out of 5 for me. Flavors are ok. Overall service was prompt, though pretty pricey for noodles and beef imho, but it's a decent alternative when you have Live action noodles in the making that you can see through the window :)

After a day of shopping at the mall, we went to noodle st. We ordered the bone in rib knife cut noodle soup and the clear (but not actually clear) cold noodles. Service was quick and I loved my noodle soup and especially the clear noodle!!! Beware of the chili ooo splatters but they do offer a bib if you want. The wait was not too long and not too loud even though it's at the mall. This is the 3rd location I tried. First was in Pasadena and then Monrovia.

I'm sure they also know English and Mandarin as well. We came for their dinner special on a weekday. Their special menu had two different tiers of food prices - $10.99 and $12.99. The specials usually come with a soup and a rice as well, but the soup was sold out by dinner time. We ordered Chicken and Corn over Rice, Stir-Fried Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce, Beef Chow Fun with Soy Sauce, Grilled Lemon Grass Pork Chop. Whenever I come to these type of restaurants, I usually order the same type of items. The chicken and corn over rice at this restaurant was just OK. It was typical and nothing special, but I still enjoyed it. The Stir-Fried Fish Filet was good and went well with the white rice. The beef Chow Fun is standard and the same as everywhere else. Can't go wrong with this staple. The one you dish that we did try was the grilled lemongrass pork chop. We don't usually order this but decided to give it a try this time. It was decent but more on the savory side. Overall, we were glad to find a restaurant with dinner specials. Given the price point and the standard types of Hong Kong styled food that were offered, I think we would return to try their other items on the special menu.

While I was eating my food in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they were offering some at the moment. They currently do have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located behind the restaurant at a local medical building parking lot. It's $1 each 9 minutes with a max of $13. Or you can try to find street parking and walk on over. Food: I ordered a Lychee Martini, Saigon Summer, Mamasan's Shrimp Cake Skewers, Truffle Wok Seared Noodles with Scallop, Slow-Drip Vietnamese Coffee Flan, and Banyan Tree Ice Cream. Before I started ordering, I was immediately given some house made complimentary shrimp chips. I loved how light and airy it was. It also had an amazing crunch. It tasted just like shrimps hahaha. My lychee martini was a crisp, refreshing cocktail that perfectly balances floral sweetness with tart acidity. Order this! The Saigon summer is a spicy, tropical blend of tequila, lime leaf liqueur, agave, butterfly pea infused triplum, and a Thai chili infusion. Not really up my alley, but I'm glad I was able to try it out. I think I dislike anything spicy and super bitter in my drinks. It just tasted odd. Mamasan's shrimp cake skewers features crispy, deep-fried shrimp cakes flavored with kaffir lime and lemongrass. It is served with skewers, charred pineapple, and a sweet garlic chili dip. Definitely get this. It was so crunchy, massive, and mouthwatering. The charred pineapple provided a sour yet sweet taste that helped off set the savory seafood / fishy taste in your mouth. The truffle wok seared noodles with scallop is a dish that combines savory, smoky flavor with luxurious truffle and tender scallops, which bridges the gap between classic Asian stir-fry and Italian comfort food. As a massive sucker for Italian food and all things truffle, this dish was my favorite. The al dente handmade egg noodles were wok-tossed in a rich black truffle sauce with delicious mushrooms, fresh Brussels sprout leaves, and perfectly seared scallops. I loved that I could taste the black truffles. The truffles added a nice rich, earthy, and highly savory flavor with prominent notes roasted nuts. GET THIS DISH!!!!! The slow-drip Vietnamese coffee flan is a silky, rich egg custard infused with bold phin-drip coffee and sweetened condensed milk. It offers a perfect balance of bitter roasted coffee and sweet creamy custard. This dish was super smooth, creamy, and delicious. I loved that Star Leaf added their own twist to this dish by putting a caramel golden cage on top of this already phenomenal tasting dessert. The caramel golden cage gave this flan a nice crunch. This dish wasn't too sweet for me. As a hater of super sweet things, this flan was just right. The banyan tree ice cream was a great way to end the meal. Super refreshing! I got two scoops of Thai tea ice cream and one scoop of the coconut ice cream. Both flavors were fantastic and tasted very creamy. Not too sweet, which is how I like it. Staff: The staff here are very attentive, friendly, welcoming, and polite. Elysha waited on me when I went. She was very attentive, informative, and personable. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

The menu is quite extensive, with options including wraps, salads, bowls, breakfast items, smoothies, and meal-prepped dishes with chicken, beef, salmon, tofu, and much more. I was impressed by the variety of choices and portions. My wife ordered an Asian chicken salad and garlic edamame, while I had a house salad with chicken and shrimp, plus a strawberry-banana smoothie and (2) protein donuts. Each dish was absolutely delicious. The lettuce in our salads was crunchy and fresh, the chicken and shrimp were flavorful and well-seasoned, the garlic edamame was tasty and cooked perfectly, and my banana and strawberry smoothie--let's just say I wish I had another one right now, as I loved it! They opened and closed the door for us which was a nice touch because it was busy inside. We ordered the pork ramen, pork buns, and pork soup dumplings. On to the food! Pork Ramen: 3/5 They give you a hefty amount of noodles and pork. They use a thin noodle here which pairs well with the broth. I truly do believe this was around average for ramen as the flavor in the broth was not as strong or savory. The highlight of the entire entree was definitely the pork, which was tender and flavorful. I probably would not order this again. Pork bun: 5/5 The pork buns were soft and fluffy, almost too good looking to eat. There was the right amount of soup and meat inside that made for a wonderful bite full of flavor. Not dry at all. Would recommend ordering this if you visit. Pork Dumplings: 5/5 The star of the show, the dumplings. They were soft and just like the buns, they had the right amount of soup + meat which made for a delicious bite every time. My toddler even ate some and she's usually super picky about meat. Overall, I'd definitely recommend coming here for the other noodles, the dumplings, and buns. You can skip on the ramen. I would 100% come back here to dine in. Quick note that parking gets full pretty quick here.

My dad loved the beef noodle soup which is saying a lot cause beef noodle soup is one of his all time favorite dish to eat and he makes it all the time too. He said this one was one of his favorites and he loved the noodles. He said it was thin and bouncy and held a ton of flavor. The saozi noodles I got were also really good! Extremely flavorful and the noodles had an amazing bounce to them. I'll definitely be back to try new items. I also got the pumpkin cake and that was delicious too. A bit oily since it's fried but yummy.

With so many restaurant choices around, I really regret choosing this one. There was absolutely no greeting or explanation when I walked in. I assumed I had to order by scanning the QR code, but the cell reception inside was poor, so I spent quite a while trying unsuccessfully to place my order. It wasn't until I saw another customer walk up to the counter and speak to a staff member that I realized I could order there, so I got in line and did the same. The restaurant itself is very small, and you basically find your own seat. Water, napkins, and disposable utensils are all self-service, and after eating, you're expected to place your dishes at a window on the side. The front door was left slightly open -- it seemed like it might be broken -- and there were flies flying around inside. That was very unappetizing and made the whole dining experience uncomfortable. Since this was my first time here and I hadn't read any reviews beforehand, I ordered one of my favorite types of noodles. Unfortunately, it was terrible. It was overwhelmingly salty with no depth of flavor at all. The best way I can describe it is noodles tossed in dark soy sauce -- just salty and one-dimensional. From the environment to the service to the food, the entire experience really turned me off. There are so many restaurants to choose from, including plenty serving similar food, that I honestly don't think I'd be willing to come back and try anything else here.
