My husband's and my favorite item is the Pani Puri. It's an interactive Indian street food that is served in a hollow, deep-fried wheat shell (puri) filled with mashed potatoes, chickpeas, onions, and chutneys. Then there is the pani, which is the tangy water that you pour into the puri. The water has flavors of mint leaves, cilantro, ginger, green chilies, tamarind, lime juice, black pepper, and cumin. It's a mouthful of spice, fragrance, and texture.. you can't help but say, "YUM!". One order comes with 6. It's a fun option to share with others or by yourself. They offer a wide variety of lunch specials, appetizers, vegetarian/vegan entrees, curries, and a full bar to name a few. You can't go wrong with whatever you decide to try. Super happy to finally have such a vibrant, modern, and slightly "dive-y in the best way" Indian spot with a full bar here in Arcadia. I have been craving Indian food so I went onto Yelp to see what were some options around my area. To be honest there wasn't that many but this restaurant came up as one of the highest rated Indian restaurants in the area so I was really excited to give it a try. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and there was no line so we got seated right away. We got served menus and water and was able to place our order relatively quickly. We got their mango lassi pani puri shots garlic naan and their chicken tikka masala to share amongst two people. The pani puri shot was my favorite dish out of everything that we ordered. It was also my very first time trying this dish and it was so good. It was crispy and flavorful and the sauce gave it a burst of flavor all in one bite. I definitely recommend you ordering this dish if you ever visit this restaurant. Everything else was just OK. The mango lassi was thick and not that sweet. It was leaning more on that tangy side, which I personally do not like the garlic naan was not bad. It was fluffy and garlicky but I personally like my naan more on the dinner and crispier side. And then lastly, the chicken tikka masala was also just OK. It was definitely more on the saucy side and less on the chicken side and this dish does not come with the rice so you would have to order that separately. Ordered a combo for two which included samosas, two chicken entrees, two veggie entrees, rice, roti, and naan - oh and a dessert! What a deal! I came here for lunch during Dine LA restaurant week. For $25 you get an appetizer, choice of protein, basmati rice, dal, salad, garlic naan and a drink (hot or iced chai tea). I had the chicken tikka masala and my husband had the lamb sheesh kebab. Everything was delicious. The sauces that come with the appetizer were also delicious. Service staff were friendly and attentive. One thing I didn't care for was the decor of the restaurant. It is very minor; it's simply personal taste. Another thing I didn't like was the parking situation for this place. The parking in back of the restaurant is very small and crowded. It is best not to park there. Pretty good Indian food overall, I would say don't come in a group bigger than six. It didn't seem to have a lot of space for big parties. We got two orders of the samosas to share. They were pretty good. They came with a tamarin sauce and a green sauce that was a little spicy. They were in a cone shape rather than a normal triangle shape I was used to, but I really enjoyed it. We also got the Pani Puri shots. They were my favorite part of the meal. I really enjoyed pouring the liquid and getting to share that with my family. I ordered the lunch Lamb biryani. The lunch portion was a pretty big size and it came with. It also came with a side of yogurt sauce. it was very well flavored not spicy or too salty. We also got the Tandoori shrimp lunch. We ordered the Saag Paneer, Chicken Tiki Masala, Pani Puri Shots, and Shrimp Chaat. The restaurant seemed super casual and relaxed. Pani Puri Shots: These were amazing. Hollow puff balls that have potato inside and you fill them up w/ pani puri sauce. This was super good. Shrimp Chaat: The shrimp was perfectly grilled and the puffed rice was good. Gave a lot of puffed rice. Needed one more shrimp so the ratio would finish the shrimp and rice at the same time. Saag Paneer: The Saag Paneer was a bit thicker than I am used to. The plus to this is that the flavor of the paneer comes out more. The thicker consistency also makes it heavier when eating it with rice or naan. I wish it was just slightly less thick. Chicken Tiki Masala: This was a bit thinner than I am used to, but the chicken was tender and juicy. Unlike just dry chicken breast drenched in tiki masala, the chicken tasted like it was braised in since the chicken was very juicy and tender. Portion sizes are just so slightly smaller than a normal entree sizes, but due to how heavy Indian food is, the portions were perfect for party of two. I've always loved eating here (well, at the Old Town Pasadena location) and this was my first time eating at the Arcadia location. I got what I usually get: chicken tikka masala, garlic nan, palak pander, and tikka masala. You can't wrong. The QC across both locations is on point. I enjoyed everything here as much as I do at the OTP location. Food is great, location is clean and easily accessible. Only thing they could improve on is the customer service, a little. This is the best Indian food I've tried in a long time. The food is unlike other Indian places where you feel heavy after eating it - something about their food is light and fresh. I highly recommend their cheese naan - it's buttery soft and delicious. We've been here for both dinner and lunch. At lunch they have specials - you can't go wrong with any of them. They are located on Huntington Drive. Street parking is available. There is also plenty of public parking on the north side of Huntington Blvd where Chengdu Restaurant resides. It's only a few minutes walk from there to here. I called to placed my dinner order. The lady I initially spoke with on the phone didn't appear to understand what I wanted to order. Another lady came on the phone to take my order. Anyway, I got the Chicken Tikka Masala with mild spice, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. Total bill was $30+. Upon arrival, the staff near the entrance greeted me nicely. Ambiance is lovely and romantic in a way. Love the beautiful and colorful wall art! Lots of inside seating. Strangely, it was during dinner time, but there was only one or two tables occupied. I was really surprised to see that. I hope they are doing okay. My order was already ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, the chicken was a little dry. The sauce did not taste the same as how they make it at their Pasadena location. It was denser and thicker. My daughters and I didn't care for it. Finding restaurants that are both flavorful and halal-friendly means a lot to me and my wife, and that's what brought us to All India Cafe. We specifically chose this spot because Yelp listed it as halal, and our waitress confirmed it as well. I do wish there was clearer signage on the menu or inside the restaurant stating this, as it would make diners feel more comfortable right away. Of course, I also personally wish alcohol wasn't served, but I understand many restaurants choose to offer it. Let's start with drinks: My wife ordered the Madras Margarita Mocktail (lemongrass, cilantro, mint, and serrano chili). It had a refreshing kick, and the serrano pepper wedged into the mouth of the glass was such a cool presentation ,first time we've ever seen that! She absolutely loved it. I ordered a mango lassi. I've had many mango lassis over the years, and unfortunately this one had an aftertaste I didn't care for. I mentioned it to the owner, and he immediately apologized and removed it from the bill, excellent customer service. Now for the food: Gulabi Farfalle (Indian-Italian fusion pasta) One of the three highlights of the night. A creamy tomato-based sauce with Indian flavors, comforting, unique, and well executed. Dahi Pani Puri Another standout. Unlike traditional pani puri where everything bursts in your mouth at once, these were already filled with potato, spices, and yogurt, creating a cool, soothing balance. The colorful mini carts they're served in are a really nice touch. Ginger Ice Cream The third highlight. Beautifully balanced ginger flavor and not an overwhelming scoop, just right. A perfect ending. Other dishes: Vegetarian Soup - Decent, but could use more vegetables, more flavor, and a bit more kick. Tandoori Half Chicken - Moist, flavorful, and well-marinated. Honestly great on its own; the green sauce isn't necessary. Lamb Biryani - Rice and lamb were both moist and pleasant to eat. Solid dish. Peshwari Naan - Okay, but nothing memorable. The marmalade-style sauce wasn't needed. Ambience & Service: The decor is thoughtfully done and showcases Indian culture beautifully. Restrooms were clean and smelled good. Parking isn't great, but we got lucky. The surrounding stores were closed and the area was dark, though All India Cafe itself was well lit. The owner, Simran, is very cool and easy to talk to, wishing him nothing but success with this restaurant and props to his dad and following in his footsteps. Samosas - It came 2 piece and 2 sauce. It's a reasonable price and it was good. Basmati Rice- plain white rice it was good and standard Garlic Naan- it was really dry barely taste the breading. Think we had a bad batch. Overall it was okay to me, since I would rate mostly on the Tiki Masala and garlic naan. I always order this everytime I get Indian food. Service was okay but not the best from other Indian restaurants.It took awhile for them to come when we were ready. When i look to notice a server they were just talking with other coworker. The restaurant is very clean and has a beautiful mural with other aesthetics decor all over. The DineLA menu was delicious. We were able to try so much different appetizers and entrees and desserts. They also offered a glass of wine or beer on the DineLA menu too. The presentation of the food came out steadily. Drinks, then appetizers and entrees shortly after. My wife enjoyed the whole experience. I personally ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with the Nirvana Tofu. The tastes of the curries were so yummy. I cosign for those selections if you're interested. I really enjoy their food. Very flavorful and crave more at times. I've realized the only way to enjoy it though, is to eat it fresh there and not do take out. The take out food get placed really hot in plastic containers. All I imagine is the microplastics contaminating the food and then I find it hard not to think of what I'm consuming. Great food and service! A nice change to have Indian in this part of town. Very nice and clean location too. What I had: + Indian iced tea: Refreshing on a hot day with a hint of spices in a good way. I appreciate the milk on the side, allowing you to adjust the drink to your liking. + Aloo Tikki: Very unique mint chutney and comes with a kick. + Coco da Pasta: I love coconut milk dishes so this delivers. Very creamy and not spicy, so perfect for my low tolerance. A nice spin on pasta. Convenient parking in the back of the business with a door that you can use to get in and out. I've been here twice and loved it each time. The only thing I wish were different were the prices a bit cheaper, but overall everything is good. I do also wish the naan came with more for the price, but I love naan and will continue to order it. The tandoori chicken is so good and the butter chicken is amazing. The rose lassi is my favorite drink and the pani puri was ok. The service can be a bit slow at times since we went once and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and it took a while to get our order in, but the food make up for it. I also love that it's halal since it means my boyfriend can eat here worry free. read more

A new Indian restaurant has opened in Arcadia, and we had a great first visit. The manager/owner, Simran, personally came by to introduce himself, which was a thoughtful touch. He mentioned they're still in their soft opening phase and also run the location in Old Town Pasadena. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, my brother chose the lamb curry, and my husband got the eggplant appetizer, a Frankie wrap, and the fish curry. We all agreed the food was flavorful, authentic, and served in generous portions. The naan was fresh and perfectly cooked, so good! My husband couldn't stop raving about the Frankie, which is essentially a full meal wrapped up in one delicious Indian burrito. I'm can't wait to return and try items from their street food menu, which looked amazing. There's parking available in the back as well as street parking in front. The decor is trendy, and the stunning mural featuring peacocks adds a meaningful visual touch, beautifully connecting Arcadia and Indian culture. read more

This local family-owned restaurant serves the BEST Indian food I've ever had and I'm absolutely thrilled they've opened a new location closer to us! Everything is fresh and so full of flavor and I love that they use natural ingredients and make their naan bread fresh to order. We've loved everything we've tried and the owner and staff are truly lovely people! They opened up this new Arcadia restaurant only a couple of weeks ago. We went for an early dinner and ordered one of my faves off their street food menu to start - the Gulabi Farfalle - as well as some new items like the shrimp chat and nirvana curry with fish. We also got a side of saffron rice and garlic naan. The Gulabi Farfalle is such an interesting marriage between the Indian and Italian food genres - it's a creamy tomato curry sauce with Farfalle pasta and it's divine! Their shrimp chat was a pleasant surprise. I adore chat dishes and theirs was the best I've had - fresh with prominent hints of citrus, generous portions of large succulent shrimp, and the chat textures were just beautiful. We also loved the nirvana curry - the fish was so light and flaky and the coconut based curry was flawless - creamy and decadent without being overly heavy. And the garlic naan - omggg it's SO DELICIOUS! They make it only when ordered - fresh in house so it's not sitting and drying out - it's so crispy and delightful. This family really are masters of their craft! At their Pasadena location we've tried the Pani Puri shots, various curries, their paneer, and basmati rice - all of it excellent and it seems that they have much of the same menu here in Arcadia. The ambiance here is elegant and chic with some beautiful murals on the walls as well as paintings and decor. They have comfy booths and tables with nice views of Huntington Dr. Service is attentive and so welcoming. Prices are moderate and justified imo given the elevated quality. It's a solid location too in a busy area - I think it's all street parking but it's very walkable and we found spot easily. So thrilled they've come to Arcadia!! We're already planning to come again for our Father's Day dinner this weekend so we'll see you soon! read more

Now yall know if im writing there's something good bad or Ehhh! Goodness where can I start! Let me just say, YES, YUP & Yes! Whatever you're thinking about ordering here, consuming from here or craving!!! YES, Do it! Okay just do it !!! Here's why...They listen, They're clean, They smile, They're attentive, They're warm and pleasant. I arrived here craving Indian food, like really craving it . in an unfamiliar area in Azusa, I wisked past this place slightly, catching it out the corner of my eye, and pull over happily. Did my happy dance too ! It's off street parking, however no meters! You might have to walk a bit but I found parking out front . That's a good thing right! I arrived and was greeted by 2 wonderfully awesome people. Smiling big , thick accent but well kept. I'm used to ppl accents but if your not there's a guy who speaks very clean English like I had no idea he was Indian . Pretty cool right! Clean nails, clean facility, waiter polite He shows me to my seat. The place wasn't packed and has a very nice booth that's adjustable depending on your mass. (The table can be brought to you or away! ) and a gold colored lamp that's literally so heavy I thought it was glued . anyway, I got the menu and I was given water with a cute slice of ‍ lime in it. I asked waiter is there an option to kinda bring the heat down some on your food. The waiter said "absolutely" that's when I knew I hadda winner and that I was going to be pleased! I hoped & I haven't even ordered yet. But let me tell you this I ordered something like a Lamb masala with white rice and a soup that's made of pototoe and peas and a small salad. It's portion controlled unlike most places I eat at that throw a bunch of food on a giant plate assuming I feel like scraping all that to go home with, this place wasn't like that. It was in seperste dishes on one plate! My kids would enjoy that bc she hates her food to touch! The rice though was spared left on the plate small heaping spoon nothing extreme. Oh I did put in a special request for us garlic lovers I asked for extra garlic on my na'an! And was please to my delight it was exactly how I wanted it. Oh so fluffy and warm not too thick and not crispy center like it's a potatoes chip no way it was foldable and perfect in every single way. I mean I have nothing to say about this place that's bad. I am going to maybe suggest today they play some Indian music low for us to get the full experience. But overall they didn't have me sweating with the spices at all! I enjoyed a rice pudding that I have never had before but would eat again. ( just an insider I'm heading there again today bc I have officially made myself hungry.) also ordered butter chicken and rice and extra garlic na'an to go to check it out and goodness yes my friend said dang where you get this from? I said "shoot not in LA surely won't go back that far unless I'm good and gas up on good timing but I'd def go back!" They said okay well pick me up another order when you do! Going today Ijs! So make that love for this place times two! Maybe 3 bc I'm taking my mommy some today! Yall know be have to check out bathrooms that's just part of my thing. It was single stall but large enough for wheelchair access. Clean well lit can't run out of tissue bc it's inside. So like I said in the beginning just go! Do it! I got both orders for around $50 not including the tip as of March 2026. read more
