Garlic Naan
Sheldon C.

Amazing Indian restaurant in the SGV! Very friendly service. Accommodated us for outdoor seating with our pug. Inside ambience is nice. Food is delicious. Brought me back to my fond memories of traveling India. The Vegetable Curry was great. The naan came out warm and tasty. The Pani Puri was so solid, bursting with flavor. Also love the unlimited refills on the chai tea. Will definitely come back

My son and daughter-in-law treat me to this amazing All India Cafe. The place was overwhelming beautiful inside. Huge drawings on the wall, and displays of different items around the restaurant. Place was very clean and the son of the owner and staff are very friendly and nice. I am sorry did not get the name of the son's owner as I am busy looking and tasting what is in front of me. He was very kind to tell us about the food and describe it and how it came about . It was a pleasure to talk to him and dine in this wonderful place on a special occasion Mothers Day! Food are really good, and try all or some of what's in the menu that triggers your interest. Price suits the taste and goodness of each item you will order! Btw, these are spicy food. If you love spicy and herbal food then this is for you! My son ordered the food before my hisband and I came so I don't know if you can lessen the spicy level. But I am sure they can do it! The whole place can seat a number of customers with some tabbles and chairs in the patio! This is a 10/10 for me!

chicken tikka masala dinner

I have been craving Indian food so I went onto Yelp to see what were some options around my area. To be honest there wasn't that many but this restaurant came up as one of the highest rated Indian restaurants in the area so I was really excited to give it a try. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and there was no line so we got seated right away. We got served menus and water and was able to place our order relatively quickly. We got their mango lassi pani puri shots garlic naan and their chicken tikka masala to share amongst two people. The pani puri shot was my favorite dish out of everything that we ordered. It was also my very first time trying this dish and it was so good. It was crispy and flavorful and the sauce gave it a burst of flavor all in one bite. I definitely recommend you ordering this dish if you ever visit this restaurant. Everything else was just OK. The mango lassi was thick and not that sweet. It was leaning more on that tangy side, which I personally do not like the garlic naan was not bad. It was fluffy and garlicky but I personally like my naan more on the dinner and crispier side. And then lastly, the chicken tikka masala was also just OK. It was definitely more on the saucy side and less on the chicken side and this dish does not come with the rice so you would have to order that separately. I would come back here to order the puri shots, but that may be about it. The restaurant is quite big and the staff was nice, so there's no knock there. I would still be open to coming back here to try their other dishes.

Super happy to finally have such a vibrant, modern, and slightly "dive-y in the best way" Indian spot with a full bar here in Arcadia. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were on point, and yes... spring for the garlic naan. Worth every extra buck. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. Owner Simon genuinely cares about both the flavors and the customer experience, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. Had such an enjoyable time and already looking forward to going back and bring the FamBam. Highly recommend! :)

If you are looking for authentic and vibrant Indian flavors in the Arcadia area, All Indian Cafe is a fantastic choice. The restaurant offers a warm atmosphere and a menu that captures the essence of traditional Indian street food and classic entrées. We began our meal with the Pani Puri, and it was easily the highlight of our visit. For those unfamiliar, these are crisp, hollow dough balls filled with a mixture of flavored water, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion, and chickpeas. The version here is truly special--perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. It provides that authentic "explosion of flavor" that makes this street food classic so addictive. For our main course, we tried the Traditional Curry with both chicken and fish. Both proteins were prepared perfectly, and the traditional curry sauce itself had a very deep, impressive flavor profile. We noticed many other varieties of curry on the menu that looked tempting, and we are already planning to return to try those next time. To complement the spices, I highly recommend ordering the Mango Lassi. It is exceptionally good--creamy, refreshing, and the perfect way to round out the meal. The service is attentive and the staff is happy to provide recommendations if you are unsure of what to order. They are also very friendly and patient with everything you neeed. It's a comfortable spot for both a casual weeknight dinner or a more celebratory weekend meal with friends. We had our family reunion there and it was great.

I came here for lunch during Dine LA restaurant week. For $25 you get an appetizer, choice of protein, basmati rice, dal, salad, garlic naan and a drink (hot or iced chai tea). I had the chicken tikka masala and my husband had the lamb sheesh kebab. Everything was delicious. The sauces that come with the appetizer were also delicious. Service staff were friendly and attentive. One thing I didn't care for was the decor of the restaurant. It is very minor; it's simply personal taste. Another thing I didn't like was the parking situation for this place. The parking in back of the restaurant is very small and crowded. It is best not to park there. It's hard to get in and out of that back alley. Try to find parking on the nearby side streets. I can overlook these minor issues since I enjoyed the food and the service. I will be back to try other dishes.

Delicious!! I got the party of 1 chicken tikka marsala curry and loved every bit of it! The garlic naan is amazing as well! Glad to have this new restaurant option in Arcadia. Service was great and the restaurant is decorated beautifully and comfortably.

First time here with my bestie, we were so excited walking in and now we are planning when to come back here!! It's a family owned business and all waitresses are so friendly and welcoming. We feel so welcomed and invited. They have table/chairs and booths, all clean, neat and comfortable. Love their interior design and decorations too. Seems like you actually dine in India. Luckily we came on their first day of promoting Dine LA, so we took the chance to enjoy their dinner set menu, from the appetizer to dessert. Can't express how much we enjoyed our food and drinks, everything is so fresh and authentic. I've been to many other Indian restaurants and this is so far my top favorite. We ended up having food coma finishing all the deliciousness haha!! The Dine LA is for two weeks so you will see my other photos soon because I will be back no doubt. Thank you All Indian Cafe :)

Finally got a chance to try this spot since I saw it on DineLA, and the reviews don't lie, this place is great. We came in through the back entrance since there's a small parking lot in the back. We both got the $35 dinner menu, which came with a ton of items to try. Here's everything it came with: Salad - Surprisingly loved this. Not sure what dressing it was, but it was so good. (5/5) Samosa - A classic. It's a bit different than the huge triangular one I'm used to, but this felt lighter and refreshing. (4.5/5) Aloo Tikki - First time ever trying this, and I would totally get it again. It's somewhat similar to a samosa but still different. Nice flavors. (4.5/5) Lamb Sheesh Kabab - So good. Very well seasoned and super tender. Tasted very fresh. (5/5) Fish Masala - Not normally a fish person, but this one was phenomenal. Nice chunks of fish in a solid curry. (5/5) Palak Paneer - Tasty. Simple, but good. (4/5) Gobi Aloo - Another simple veggie dish, but a nice complement to everything else. Overall tasty. (4/5) Kheer - Nice pudding. Not overly sweet, and I enjoyed this. (4.5/5) Gulab Jamun - I've had this at a lot of places, but I liked that these weren't overly sweet. Still sweet, but just the right amount. (5/5) Overall, I'd definitely come back to try items off the non-DineLA menu because everything was really good. Very nice ambiance, and the service was quick and friendly. Loved the overall experience. Parking: Street parking in the front, plus a small lot behind the restaurant (about 6-8 cars).

I stopped by to get my lunch special. I ordered chicken tandoori lunch special. The server was very friendly. After I ordered, she offered me water while I wait for my food. Another person came, could be the manager to check in with me and shared they have live music Friday night. My lunch finally came and the portion is great. The chicken is flavorful but a little on the dry side. The fried rice is good and the garlic naan has a good aroma. Portion is just right and lunch special pricing is reasonable. I'd like to come back and dine in to fully enjoy the vibe. Theirs is bar in the restaurant, I'm sure dinner time has fun vibe with live music.

Samosas
Allyssa C.

Pretty good Indian food overall, I would say don't come in a group bigger than six. It didn't seem to have a lot of space for big parties. We got two orders of the samosas to share. They were pretty good. They came with a tamarin sauce and a green sauce that was a little spicy. They were in a cone shape rather than a normal triangle shape I was used to, but I really enjoyed it. We also got the Pani Puri shots. They were my favorite part of the meal. I really enjoyed pouring the liquid and getting to share that with my family. I ordered the lunch Lamb biryani. The lunch portion was a pretty big size and it came with. It also came with a side of yogurt sauce. it was very well flavored not spicy or too salty. We also got the Tandoori shrimp lunch. It came with so mattar, naan, salad, and dal. This was definitely a full meal and I really enjoyed how the shrimp was seasoned. Lastly, we also got the masala Dosa. It wasn't over stuffed and was a decent size to share I got the mango lassi. It wasn't too thick or too creamy. I enjoyed it. I just wish it was served colder. We also tried the salty lassi. It was pretty good. Also, parking is quite difficult to find street parking is limited, but there are a lot of parking structures around.

Pani Puri Shots - highly recommend

This place was good. From the service to the food! We went in there to check out the new Indian spot, and the service was very friendly. We ordered the Saag Paneer, Chicken Tiki Masala, Pani Puri Shots, and Shrimp Chaat. The restaurant seemed super casual and relaxed. Pani Puri Shots: These were amazing. Hollow puff balls that have potato inside and you fill them up w/ pani puri sauce. This was super good. Shrimp Chaat: The shrimp was perfectly grilled and the puffed rice was good. Gave a lot of puffed rice. Needed one more shrimp so the ratio would finish the shrimp and rice at the same time. Saag Paneer: The Saag Paneer was a bit thicker than I am used to. The plus to this is that the flavor of the paneer comes out more. The thicker consistency also makes it heavier when eating it with rice or naan. I wish it was just slightly less thick. Chicken Tiki Masala: This was a bit thinner than I am used to, but the chicken was tender and juicy. Unlike just dry chicken breast drenched in tiki masala, the chicken tasted like it was braised in since the chicken was very juicy and tender. Portion sizes are just so slightly smaller than a normal entree sizes, but due to how heavy Indian food is, the portions were perfect for party of two. Service was super friendly and our waitress was the one that recommended the Pani Puri Shots, which I recommend as well. We will definitely be back when we need our Indian food fix!

We came with a group on a saturday and they were able to seat us immediately - plenty of parking in the large plaza where the Hat and Shiki Buffet is (previously hometown buffet location). All of the items on the menu were intriguing, but I was eyeballin' the salt and pepper one and the fried tofu. My buddy got the lemongrass "chicken" and also the curry with bread. Since we were eager to try the different types of food, we did a family style and that was the best decision. We also got eggplant, and the rice cake/egg. I thought the rice cake looked underwhelming, but our entire group had a consensus and voted that as the top fave of the night. Everything was super tasty and we left happy and full and with leftovers! Super excited to return and to recommend to others. I look forward to come back to try some of the other items such as the "beef" noodle soup or the bun rieu or pho! I also appreciate that some of the dishes came with rice included -we actually ended up with too much rice, but perfect for leftovers the next day. Upon checking out, there was delicious thing by the cash register that was green and resembled a bundt cake in slices. It was labled mochi pandan, and it was AMAZING. so spongy, so delicious and a little sweet. Perfect end of the night that my buddy got one to go right after. It was made fresh and you can tell by how soft it was. I appreciate that this restaurant has vegetarian versions of common vietnamese and chinese dishes. They all were delicious and unique and did not feel too oily or heavy. They look and taste like meat and also the sauces were 100% on point. Thank you Happy Buddha!!

5/5, always a hit and never misses!…read more I'm not sure what took me so long to write a review for White Springs, given I've dined here at least a dozen times over the years. Ever since it opened, White Springs has become a neighborhood staple, with many being regulars that stop by frequently. The food: My favorite menu item is the Tom Yum Noodle Soup where I substitute the vegan shrimp balls for tofu instead, at an extra mild spice level. It's my comfort food, for when days feel extra rough and I want a noodle soup that feels like a warm hug. My favorite appetizers are definitely the Chicken Satay (the texture is fantastic) and Spring Rolls. Over the years, I've also been able to try some of their curries, Roti, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Orange Chicken, among others. But the Tom Yum Noodle Soup is definitely my go to menu item that I'll consistently crave. Everything is always cooked with such care and is super flavorful, but still feels light and not overwhelmingly greasy. Everything else: Service is kind and I've always felt more than welcomed. During their busy hours, there might be a little of a wait, so I would advise some patience as everything is made fresh. They mostly do to go orders, so do not be deceived if there's no other folks dining with you! At this point in time, they do not have indoor dining, and have a couple tables set up outside, so it might not be suitable for a huge dinner party, if you do not provide them ample notice. Parking is plentiful on the street or behind the storefront in the lot behind.
