Well I wasn't really hungry but his birthday weekend we ordered the chicken pad Thai which was good on the sweet side . He also ordered the crab fried rice I didn't try it but he said it was really good . Service is great . Love all the wood work around the windows and the fountain outside .
This place has been around for years, but it's my first time trying it. Ong Choy: really love the way the Ong Choy is made, it's not too salty and oily. It's flavorful and Ong Choy is nice and crunchy. Definitely a great vegetable selection. Pad Thai: the sauce is way too heavy and sweet. We didn't enjoy this as much as we thought we would. The first taste was good, but the more you have the saltier/sweeter it gets. The lime juice didn't lighten things up either. Don't really recommend it. Crab fried rice: there's a good amount of crab and egg in this dish. The rice is on the softer side, it's not dry and hard like most fried rice. We still enjoy it, the texture of the rice didn't kill the flavor of it. The flavor is very balanced, but quite oily. Tom yum seafood soup: There's a good amount of seafood in this soup. The flavor (sweet and sour) is well balanced. Sweet rice with mango: A great dessert option to finish the meal. It is not overly sweet. I'm not a fan of coconut, but the coconut is not distinctly sweet and overwhelming (so I was able to have some). The sweet rice is chewy and warm when served. And the mango is perfectly ripe and sweet. Definitely recommend it. The service was outstanding! The restaurant decoration is very traditional and unique. They are quite busy when we arrived on a Sunday night. I would give this place an overall 3.5/5 because they can definitely work on some of the dishes.
I love the fresh, authentic and flavorful Thai food at Thai Paradise. The stirred fry morning glory, chicken egg omelette hit the spots. The staff were super nice and attentive. Ambiance is full of Thai decor with TV to watch the World Cuo. Parking spots are available in the back.
I came here with friends for some lunch. There is parking available in the back of the building. The restaurant is located on the far end of the building. There are plenty of tables inside, and service was really good. I got the lunch special - Pad Thai Chicken which came with other salad or soup. I got the sweet and sour soup. The portion was more than I could eat, so the leftovers were for dinner. After everyone was done eating, we were all given a complimentary bowl of sweet red bean soup. Very good food here!
The service is always great. The food is amazing. I am never disappointed from the salads to the soups to the desserts, especially the mango rice. Every visit is a new dish and I'm never disappointed.
There's plenty of tables from two seats to like eight seats. There's indoor women's restroom and men's restroom is outside of the restaurant. We ordered the papaya salad and thought it was tasty. Also had the seafood pad seew which was well seasoned. Had some scallop and shrimp dish as well which tasted very much like pad seew without the noodles. They had some red bean dessert at the end which reminded me of a red bean porridge. Overall, we were pleased with our meal and plan on returning.
We came here close to closing time, but they accommodated us, we apologized, we just had to order quickly. So nice of them! We are visiting from Dallas, and found plenty of parking! We walk in and the restaurant is a bit dated, but it's fine. The staff is really nice. I ordered the pad see ew, and it was a huge plate! It was delicious and I had enough for leftovers the next day! If I come back to California I will come back here
This place was excellent! Friendly staff and generous portions. We got the papaya salad which was good. Pad Thai was not super sweet like in other places, wasn't too dry or juicy, it was just right. We also got chicken with mixed vegetables, pad see won, and drunken noodle which tasted great too. Would come back again to try their other dishes.
Absolutely delicious! The ingredients here are super fresh, and every dish tastes authentic -- just like what you'd get in Thailand. Our server, Serigius, was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Here's a little insider tip (not sure if I'm supposed to say this ): if you order the fried rice, ask for crispy pork. It's not on the menu, but it's a secret item -- and it's amazing! Thai Paradise has definitely become one of my favorite Thai spots on Atlantic Blvd. Highly recommend!

We ordered a bunch of stuff to share, including Beef Satay, Spicy Noodles, Sweet and Sour Pompano, and Papaya Salad. Honestly, every dish was amazing, but the Pompano was the real star. For dessert, they brought us a free little cup of purple rice. It was so delicious that we ended up buying a whole container to take home. Such a great meal!

We were craving Thai - it was match made in Heaven. We decided on the Chicken Satay, Pad See Ew, Tom Yum Soup and Fried Ice Cream. The Chicken Satay was our favorite dish. It was well-liked by everyone at our table. The Pad See Ew is one of our favorite Thai dishes, but it wasn't very good and had a strange odor. It smelled like smelly socks or something like that. I saw the Tom Yum Soup on other tables and it looked so cool with the fire. I had to get it, but it proved to be a mistake as none of us liked it either. They served us this complimentary purple rice dish for dessert and it was quite good. My son had never tried Fried Ice Cream and when I saw it on the menu. I had to order it for him despite my wife not wanting him to eat it. Whoops! He loved it as did I! The original server wasn't so good, but they must have switched because the female server who took over was much more attentive and helpful. I wouldn't come back here as the food wasn't anything to write home about. We are still on the look out for better Thai food in the SGV.

From their tom yum soup, to the papaya salad, pineapple fried rice and their omelette, everything else tasted amazing. Service was excellent! They keep checking up on us to make sure that we got what we needed. The inside and outside made you feel as if you're actually in Thailand. Only thing was price is a little steep.
My husband and I ate here on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was almost full. We were seated right away and led to the left side of the restaurant. Service was quick. Our server was really kind and friendly. He checked in on us quite a few times to make sure our glasses were filled and our orders were correct. He did it all with a smile. Our food was good. I had the papaya salad which had the right balance of acidity, savory, and tangy flavors. I really enjoyed it. We also ordered the chicken pad Thai and chicken satay. Again, both were delicious. We ordered mango sticky rice for dessert which was the perfect end to our meal. The rice was creamy and the mango was really sweet. The only downside to our meal, and why this isn't a 5-star, was the amount of gnats. There were so many in the area we were sitting in. One of them landed in our mango sticky rice which was a huge bummer. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.
Been a long time since I've been here, food is great and hasn't changed. It was delicious. Decor and all hasn't changed. Still at the end of a plaza off Atlantic Blvd/Garvey Ave. I always look forward to the sweet rice dessert that they give after. It's so yummy. read more

Thank God, we got the lunch special because it was either too sweet or watered down. I do appreciate that the tom yum soup is complimentary with the lunch special, that was pretty delicious. I want to add that I'm Latina so I'm not an expert in THAI cuisine, but I have been to many amazing Thai spots and love Thai food. This unfortunately may have been an odd day but the pad Thai and veggies were just too sweet and the curry seemed too watered down. They let us have a warm bean paste dessert, and that was delicious. Staff are nice and helpful. Place is spacious, I would be open to coming back for their tom yum seafood soup and dessert but nothing else. We Didn't finish the food read more

Great thai food, a fair price with ample seating and parking! Ordered the pad thai and drunken noodles and the latter stood out. Medium spicy was appropriately spicy and had so much beef! Came here Wednesday night with family and there was 7 of us total. There's parking in the back which was easy and plenty of accessible parking spots. The place is nice and spacious with plenty of seating and everything looked neat and well kept. We ordered chicken pad thai, chicken lat nah, chicken pad see ew, fish cake, chicken sate, scallop and shrimp and a coconut chicken soup. This was more than enough food and we even had leftovers. Overall the flavors were okay. Nothing too special to be honest but it satisfied the craving! Chicken sate - chicken wasn't dry which was a plus, somewhat tough but it was okay. The peanut sauce was good. Fish cake - a bit tough and salty. Chicken pad Thai - love the flavor and the veggies that came with it. Chicken lat nah - I wish there was more gravy but it was decent! So good when eaten with the vinegar spicy chili sauce. Chicken pad see ew - I just tasted the soy sauce to be honest. It was okay overall. Shrimp and scallop - didn't get a chance to try this but my mom liked the flavor of the dish. Chicken coconut soup - omg so good. I really enjoyed this with rice! Mango sticky rice - the mango was sour ish and the rice wasn't too sweet which was nice. I don't usually eat mango sticky rice but this was okay. Purple rice dessert - this was complimentary and it was really good! Overall the experience was enjoyable. Service was attentive and kind and portion sizes were decent. Was craving for Thai BBque pork ribs from Original Thai BBque but I didn't want to drive. I decided to order it and asked for sweet chili sauce. Craving satisfied. The white rice is extra charge. I have been here many times the food is delicious. I have tried different plate all are so good. The customer service is always great, very polite and courteous. The ambiance is cute with a lot of that decorations and very chill you can have a nice conversation. I went with my family to celebrate my son's 28th birthday. We enjoyed all the food. First time here, we tried some classics. Ordered the coconut chicken soup, chicken pad thai, ong choy and chicken satay skewers. Everything was yummy and authentic. Pricing is reasonable & service was great. The restaurant is big & they have a big parking lot in the back too. The coconut chicken soup was my fav, so creamy and umami. Would be back! read more

It's been a hot minute since I've last come here, maybe like 15-20 years? I always wondered why we sparingly came to this place in SGV, probably distance related. So I decided to try out the food once more with parents with a food connoisseur mindset and here are my findings: Ambiance: since I was last there, the interior doesn't seem to have changed at all. The interior gives off a very ornate thai experience Even though we came at a quiet time on the weekend, the staff was very professional and mindful of our wants and food. Here's the food we ordered Seafood Tom yum - It didn't feel that much like Tom Yum, it felt mainly more sour than there was spiciness. We did order light heat to be on the safer side so I'd say if you can handle heat, just go for medium spice. Chicken pad Thai - what I consider as a base for Thai restaurants in America, the pad Thai felt a bit too sweet and saucy. Since it's a stir fry by nature I think the chef added a bit too much sauce to it. Slightly under par for a pad Thai though Chicken satay skewers - is pretty solid for what you can get elsewhere nowadays. Price wise it's on par as well Fried fish fillet w/ apple sauce - surprisingly the strongest of the choices we made. Apple sauce here is julienned apple strips marinated in a sweet vinegar base, similar to the cucumbers you get with satay skewers. It gave me a hint of verde sauce but Asian fusion. The fish was flaky and freshly fried. I'd recommend this again We did get offered a complimentary, what I assume to be a, red bean dessert. I forgot to ask what the price threshold was, but It was very refreshing with the coconut milk and red bean. Good palate cleanser Parking is plentiful as there a lot behind and underground parking. the street is always busy so be careful when turning into the lot. read more

Came here on a busy night, but luckily we didn't have to wait too long. We ordered the beef Pad See Ew--at first it looked a little pale, but the taste was amazing. We also had Ong Choi with garlic, which was pretty good as well. The inside was nice and clean, and the service was fantastic and very friendly. Would definitely come back! Trima Kasih read more
