Great place for a nice bowl of pho. Compared to other locations, I find the broth here less on the sweet side. You can upgrade your bowl to large for $2. The menu offers rare and well done meat. They have a lunch special on weekdays from 9am-3pm $13.95 for any pho (excluding ox tail) with one egg roll. The restaurant is located right by the freeway. There's a small parking lot in the front. The staff was nice and food was served fast. Overall a good dining experience.
Ordered UberEats since they have a BOGO offer for pho & drink for only $24.95! What a deal! My order came pretty fast - less than an hour There are 3 options of Pho and drink - well done brisket, rare steak & well done brisket, and beef meatballs. The 3 drinks options are - cucumber Mint lemonade, lemonade, and. Thai Milk Tea (+$1.75) I chose the rare steak & well done brisket Pho. I was impressed by how nicely packaged it was and how big the portion was! The bean sprouts and basils were so fresh and there was so much meat! The broth was so flavorful and not too salty. This was definitely one of the best pho I've had! The meat quality was pretty good too and not fatty! The Cucumber Mint Lemonade was way too sweet but it was very refreshing. I enjoyed the bits of mint and cucumber inside but wished it wasn't so sweet. I had to add water into it otherwise it wasn't enjoyable at all. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and definitely recommend their deal currently!
This review is for food delivery only not for dine in * Ordered the oxtail pho for delivery - and was honestly surprised to have just one large oxtail. Typically when I order from other places, there is one large one, and at least a little one small smaller one. The food wasn't bad however ,it wasn't amazing. I did add beef brisket for five dollars and glad I did. There was no lime included only lemon, which is fine on my end, but typically would have loved lime like most pho places do. Not sure if I would order again when there are so many other fun places that give more quantity and quality. xx APRIL 2026 review
I came back to try the banh mi and pho. The banh mi was so friggen good. I had it with the beef brisket. The beef was rich, flavorful, tender and had nice little fatty bits that made it all the more succulent. The bread was soft and lightly crunchy. Love the fresh, pickled veggies in there! It came with an au jus, which was new. I've never had a banh mi with au jus. Well, it was wonderful. The au jus was delicious and made the sandwich even better. I ordered the combo pho with a little of everything. Meats were generous and the broth was good. I noticed the noodles were different than most other places. They were tender with a nice chew and little more fragrant - like they were fresher and higher quality than usual. Perhaps they're made in house or they get them fresh. I noticed a difference. Welp!! Can't wait to return lol. Oh!! And I ordered the banana affogato slushi. Holy crap! It was amazing. It tasted like banana nut bread! It was so weird, in a good way. If you like bananas you gotta try.
This place seemed tucked away. I only found them because I was in Monterey Park and I was craving banh mi so this popped up as the closest spot. Interior was nice/bigger than I expected from the outside. I only ordered a banh mi to-go, but just looking at the other tables I could tell some of the other dishes looked solid, looked like their was depth of flavor. I'll just speak on the banh mi though. They had a beef brisket banh mi which really intrigued me. I don't think I've been to a place with beef brisket banh mi. I think it is a dope offering to have as a menu item. They also pair it with a small sauce sized container of pho broth. I think the pho broth paired well for sure. Where it fell short was that it was slightly over seasoned and maybe sliiightly dry. I think it can be a delicate balance to give a little char to the brisket while not over cooking it or drying it out. I'm not sure if there's any pate or any other sauce/spread in the baguette itself at least I didn't taste it. I would've liked slightly more vegetable inside for balance and crunch. The pho broth was also slightly salty but still had depth of flavor and was a welcomed pairing because it gave the banh mi more moisture. I may have said all that, but I think it was all subtle things. It still tasted good. It's priced on the higher side so there's an expectation to really nail it or come down a little on pricing. Will be back to try some of the other dishes.
Hey, hey....hubby and I driving into LA. On this HOT day we decided on some delicious Pho. Searched my trusty Yelp and found Pho Ever right off the freeway. It's a small parking lot, but as we walked up to the restaurant, it is a quaint place that had these small tables and each table was pretty full. Lots of families. We started with the fresh spring rolls. Fat with shrimp, peanut sauce was very good. My Pho had so much meat. There was a variety of meat with lots of noodles and thd broth was very fragrant. My husband had the oxtail. The oxtail filled the entire bowl with fragrant broth, piled high with lots of noodles. It was quite a bit of food. I had to take mine with me. My husband had a blast eating his entire bowl with some great chili oil and chili paste. Gotta go see what I'm talking about. If you're hungry, you'll walk out with a full belly. I'll return to sample the rest of their menu.
I ordered the brisket pho through Uber Eats and was so impressed with how everything arrived. Sometimes delivery pho can be a mess, but this was packed perfectly-the broth was still piping hot and the noodles were fresh, not soggy at all. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the portions were great. Definitely my new go-to for a cozy night in. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot that actually knows how to handle takeout orders!
We visited on a rainy Tuesday evening around 7 PM and unfortunately left very disappointed. Parking is extremely limited, which became even more frustrating given the weather. We were told the restaurant was at full capacity and had to wait outside in the rain with very little coverage. For such a small space, the waitlist process also felt unnecessary and disorganized. Absolutely no need for pagers imo. Once seated, the experience didn't improve much. The broth was not hot enough to properly cook the beef, which remained essentially raw throughout the meal and was inedible for me. For a pho restaurant, broth temperature is critical. The noodles were good, but overall the food quality was just average. The interior felt cramped, and the decor didn't feel cohesive with the permanent wall design. Service was also lacking because there appeared to be minimal staff, and no one checked on us during the meal. We saw the surrounding tables complain as well on the service out loud and wanted to leave. I had previously attended a Yelp event here and enjoyed it, which made this visit especially disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not return.
We came here per a recommendation from Peter and Lisa. One of the few places that still offer good quality for quality low prices. LA getting ridiculous with 10.5% tax and nothing to show for it...... Negatives: -parking and ambiance is a little tight. If you miss the restaurant in the corner you'll never know it's there. Positives: -value of food for your money is great. Their weekday lunch special is 13.95 for pho and an eggroll. Most of their dishes are 15 and under too. -we got pho, sticky rice, banh hoi nem nuong, and braised beef brisket banh mi. The pho broth was on the sweeter side and it was just okay for me. Our favorite dish is the braised beef banh mi. It's a perfect fusion of pho and banh mi. We'll be coming back just for that dish alone. The coffee flight was interesting and looked very instagramable. Overall, the presentation of their food was very eye catching and appetizing. Something that not many Vietnamese restaurants do. -service was good and friendly Overall 5/5 Thank you for Peter and Lisa's recommendation. This spot is almost 30mins from where we live thanks to LA traffic....but it's worth the drive out to try and for repeat returns for us.
I've been here quite a few times. Food: The pho is solid. It's not the best in town, in my opinion, but it does get the job done. The soup was warm, not too hot. The lunch special is great because you get free egg rolls with your pho! The eggrolls taste decent. They provide a free plate of lime and veggies. Drinks: They look amazing! It's so aesthetically pleasing. My drink was a combination of strawberry and Yakut, which definitely hit the spot. My friend also really liked her drink too! Parking: There is a free parking lot right next to the liquor store next door. Overall: 4/5; I came here to catch up with a friend and it's a nice place to do so. It was relatively quiet and not too packed. It's right next to a high school, so students can enjoy pho after school. Side note: the Thai tea here is pretty good!
Found this place by accident due to my local pho restaurant closing for remodeling. Since I've found this spot, I have not stopped coming. This place is clean, customer service is good and the food is amazing. I strong recommend rare steak pho, with a Thai tea and a side of veggie egg rolls. The most simple yet most fulfilling and savory food.
Cool place. Tons of choices, and I appreciated they had flights of different coffees and teas, along with vegetarian choices. I got the tempura oyster mushroom appetizer. Tasted very good, but I ate a-lot and felt queasy- make sure to share with someone. Will come again though. Place has plenty of seating and parking was easy.
Adorable place to grab pho and bah mi! It's well decorated inside and located in a little plaza with a small parking lot. The service was good, not very quick for lunch rush. I think it was just one person taking orders at lunch on a Wednesday which is probably why. You order at your table and pay at the counter on your way out. We both ordered the oxtail pho. The flavor of the broth was incredible, the oxtail was a little tough and hard to get off the bone. The flavor of the meat was great otherwise. I'd definitely come back again.

1-Star Review Very disappointing experience. My food and drink subtotal was $16.95, but when I checked my receipt, I noticed a $5.62 tip had been added, bringing my final credit card charge to $24.35. I did not knowingly authorize or agree to this $5.62 tip. What concerns me most is that I only noticed it after reviewing the receipt. Customers should be clearly informed and given the opportunity to choose their own tip amount before their card is charged. I have the receipt showing the $5.62 tip and the $24.35 final charge. Regardless of the amount, adding a tip without the customer's clear knowledge or consent is unacceptable to me. Please check your receipt carefully before leaving. This experience completely changed my impression of this restaurant. read more

I went here with my daughter on a whim during a weekday and went right at opening. There was only one other patron there at the time and a few people coming in and out, picking up to go orders. We were able to sit at any table and it had good AC and was comfortable. They also had cute decorations that made it feel like you were in someone's house. We ordered the oxtail pho as well as the combo pho. Both were delicious and had good broth! Since I had an upcoming doctors appointment, I couldn't add any hot sauce or hoisin, but this forced me to appreciate the quality of the broth itself. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely be coming back. One thing I noticed is that they don't have any pho ga or any pho with chicken. To be honest, I never go for that... But because of my upcoming doctors appointment, I was actually looking to try that instead. Nevertheless, the oxtail pho was delicious and I have no regrets. My daughter particularly liked the amount of tripe in her bowl. The staff was also very kind and accommodating! By the time we left, there were quite a few parties that sat down for dinner! Will be back! read more

Delicious food, great service. The pho is delicious, best places in Alhambra. We tried several different dishes, they are all good. The service is also great just be patient with time. They get a lot of orders to go and everything is fresh. The parking is a little bit crazy. The inside is not that big, I don't remember waiting more than five minutes for a table. read more
Ordered via Uber Eats and they had the beef brisket banh mi as a BOGO. What a great deal! It was delish too! Flavor on the brisket was so good and it came with broth for dipping. Generous portion of beef too! We order the fried oyster mushrooms and loved them! My friend enjoyed her butterfly sticky rice dish too! Order came quickly too! Though we ordered this time, we do like the ambiance of the restaurant. Very quaint. read more

Tried this pho place with family and it was good. The broth was yummy and meat generous but only some of us got the fresh (wide) noodles as they ran out. The drinks and egg rolls were also tasty. Service was good but just wish they had a table deeper into the restaurant to avoid the cold air from the nearby front door. For a small intimate restaurant they were pretty busy but if I'm craving pho, I think I would prefer my other favorites first. read more
After getting back from an airport trip, I was hungry--so I grabbed some warm pho to fight off the cold. Went with the classic pho tai, beef with a sixteen-hour bone broth, and my friend got the shrimp pho, same amazing broth. Both bowls came steaming hot, packed with rice noodles and fresh herbs. Shrimp was plump. And the bean sprouts arrived pre-steamed. Service was quick and super friendly. Inside, everything looked spotless--tables wiped, floors swept. Parking's small-to-medium sized--easy enough if you circle once or twice. Each bowl was about $14--fair for the quality and amount. read more
Hubby and I were craving pho so we came here for an early lunch. Service wasn't as good as the last time we came. We didn't get greeted by anyone and got seats by ourselves. They also did not come to check up on us at all. Hubby ordered the combo pho while I got the rare steak and well done brisket pho. We both agree that presentation was good. However, the broth tastes different from last time. It was much richer and flavorful, almost like it was full of msg. We were so thirsty afterwards. read more
Pho Ever (Alhambra) is not bad. I ordered the Combo Dac Biet Pho ($14.95). It includes raw steak, brisket, tripe, tendon, & beef ball. I appreciated its hefty meat portions. Unfortunately, its raw steak slices felt rubbery. And its blood made the broth taste very heavy and bitter. Most frustrating was its overcooked clumpy & mushy pho noodles. Fortunately, Pho Ever (Alhambra) served one of the freshest tasting tripe that I'd ever tasted. Strangely enough, that white tender tripe was the meal's highlight. I arrived at Pho Ever (Alhambra) on Tuesday (around 6:18pm). Its private parking lot is cramped and tiny. Also, I disliked how the busy intersection sometimes blocks this tiny plaza's exit. This business is walking distance from the Garfield Medical Center. Staff is welcoming and friendly. When I'd entered, staff quickly invited me to a table. Immediately after, staff placed a glass bottle of water. I appreciated how the water tastes crisp and clean. Later, I ordered the Combo Dac Biet Pho ($14.95). The food arrived in four minutes and 49 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, the Combo Dac Biet Pho ($14.95) is not bad. For its price, there's a lot of meat and ingredients. Unfortunately, the meat was bordering on rubbery; the broth was bitter; and the noodles did not taste fresh. Fortunately, the taste is not awful. Rather, the food felt like it prioritized "efficiency" over quality. Pho Ever (Alhambra) had a comfortable, sleek ambiance. The location is very clean, well-ventilated, and soothing. I appreciated the smooth upbeat music, modern knickknacks, and dim lighting. The tables are shiny, and the floors are relatively well-swept. If I were to nitpick, its walls felt neglected since portions had scraped off paint. Overall, Pho Ever (Alhambra) is not bad. It offers large portions at reasonable prices. 3.9 out of 5 read more
They were offering bogo deals through ubereat - so we tried their beef banh mi and beef pho. They were decently sized and both were pretty tasty. My only complaint is that the banh mi were overloaded with cilantro (there was a whole plant stuffed in one of the sandwiches). Otherwise, I was pretty satisfied and would def order again! read more
Love the drinks here. Good solid pho with clean tasting broth. The blue oyster tempura is also fried and crisp to perfection, love the portion size as well. Solid place for pho. There's places that are still better, but there's a lot of good things going for this place. It's so neat and clean in here and I love the specialty drinks that are available here!!! read more
Don't have to go to OC for good pho as this is a great option in the 626. Came on a Saturday for lunch when they were celebrating their 3 year anniversary. We were seated right away and ordered the combination pho with thin noodles and well done brisket pho with flat noodles. The star of the show is definitely the broth - it was so comforting and light. The portion was good for the price - they definitely did not skimp on the meat and it was tender. The only downside was that my flat noodles tasted a little overcooked. We also got the guava paloma sorbet which was a dessert special for the weekend, and it was refreshing and pretty tart. Overall, staff members were nice and food was good. Ambiance was relaxed and comfortable. Would visit again if I'm in the area! read more
First time visiting here Saw this from across the street, while putting gas in my car. Figured I shall try, since I had not had anything to eat, yet! Ambiance is , quiet w/soft music playing. Service was kind & I was greeted right away Pho was not bad 7/10 ( I didn't get any of the fixings) not sure if you have to ask for them Chicken lemongrass bahn mi 4/10 (too sweet) for my liking, while I like a more char grilled chicken + the bread can be a bit too chewy to bite! read more
Parking is easy to find. As we walked in, we were greeted right away and they sat us down right away. The decor is well done and inviting. We ordered the Pho with brisket and the Banh Mi Sandwich. Plus they have a great lunch menu too. read more

Pleasantly surprised! I went in with zero expectations thinking it's probably just another hipster spot. Some reviews did have me concerned but totally would recommend this place!! The pho broth here is very clean and very flavorful. We got the oxtail and it came with two small one large bone. The meat was so tender!!! I really enjoyed it but my BF who lives in the OC says OC pho is way better lol. Well... He's never taken him so as far as I'm concerned this was my favorite oxtail pho!! We also got the brisket banh mi. OMG this was fire!! Stuffed with meat and the pickled veggies worked so well!!! Jalapenos were served on the side which I appreciate but the ones we got has no kick at all. Luckily each table comes with shiracha and hoisin sauce. Just added a squeeze of shriracha with each bite and it was perfection! The banh mi is served with a side of broth. It's a more concentrated version of the pho broth. I think it's meant to be eaten with the banh mi like a French dip. We did try it dipped but preferred it as is cuz their bread was so good and crispy without being hard. The Vietnamese coffee here was also amazing!! No grassy aftertaste. It's super thick and rich tho so let it dilute a bite and take small sips in the beginning. You're welcome. I didn't give full stars because when we first walked in, we were hit with a very strong chemical smell. Likely from the soap they use to mop? That's what it smelled like. Service was great, we were greeted right away. There was no wait tonight so we got seated right away. Parking can be a bit though if they are busy. It's a small lot with maybe 15 spots but shared with the liquor store. Residential parking is available for a short walk. They also have a great lunch deal! Can't wait to come back!! On the pricey side overall but definitely worth it!!! read more

Was craving some pho and came across this place with an attention grabbing name. They had a lunch special which included a veggie egg roll and a bowl of pho. Veggie roll was super crunchy but wish it had some pork or chicken. I ordered the rare steak and well done brisket. The bowl was pretty filling and the viet coffee was really good. I like how the coffee had 2 kinds of ice. Not too bad of a stop for a quick bite to eat. read more
Came here for the coffee flight and I do like them, they're creamy and not overly sweet. Butterfly pea sticky rice is served warm and presentation looks pleasing. A friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat lunch on a Thursday afternoon and found this place on yelp. The parking lot is shared with a convenience store but is pretty small and probably holds less than 10 cars. It was full when we arrived but we found street parking right next to it. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side and was about half full when we walked in. We were seated right away and ordered the combination pho, crab egg rolls, and banh hoi w/ pork sausage. They have a lunch special for any of their pho (except oxtail) for $13.95 from Monday through Friday 11 am to 3 pm that comes with a veggie egg roll. You can also add on specific drinks for an extra $3. The crab egg rolls were $12.95 and the banh hoi was $14.95. Everything was so so good! The broth for the pho was so flavorful and there was so much meat. The crab egg rolls were fragrant and the banh hoi was refreshing. The service was also great. There was mainly just one girl working and she did an excellent job. After you finish eating, you pay up at the front. I'll definitely be back here! read more
4.7 stars It's been awhile since I tried new Vietnamese restaurants since I keep going to my tried-n-true favorites like Golden Deli or Saigon Eden...basically, somewhere closer to home is how I like it. Pho Ever took over this location a little while after the pandemic (& after Hanashima didn't reopen). But, man, have I slept on this! Their pho is delicious and the portions are generous for the price. The noodles have a wonderful chew to it. The onions are sliced paper thin, the way it should be. The soup base is so so so good! Since this was my second visit, I chose to order their lunch special, which is $13.95 for a bowl of pho, a veggie spring roll, and (+$3) a green Thai tea. The lunch special portion is just as generous. The veggie spring roll was just ok. The green Thai tea was pretty good after the ice melted a bit. Service was friendly. The restaurant was neat, clean, and relatively quiet. I'll be back to try other menu items, but for now, this review is just for the pho. read more

We ordered mom and dad rice plate and bang mi lemongrass pork. Both of them were tasty and portions were great. Nice sized restaurant with great service. The restaurant is located inside a small strip plaza next to 10-fwy Garfield entrance. read more

Is there outdoor seating tonight?
Not yet. They are still in the process of working on their patio. I didn't see heat lamps so it may only be a thing when the weather is warm.
