First time coming to Golden Delight 2 and I was surprised by how big, clean, and fancy the place feels. We ordered the beef pho and spring rolls, and both were delicious. The beef pho had rich flavor, warm broth, and tender meat, while the spring rolls were fresh and crispy. The portions were good and the prices were very affordable for the quality. Service was friendly and the restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a great spot if you want tasty Vietnamese food without spending too much . Most around 11-18$ Would come back again!

There's always a line so we only went for the first time on this Sunday. We got there at 6:45pm party of 2 and got seated around 7:05pm with 12 parties ahead of us. The service was efficient and friendly. We ordered the bun rieu and pho dac bite and thought both were on point. Their broth is on the lighter side compared to nha Trang or golden deli but still very flavorful. Will come back to try out the pho ga and rice dishes!

Craving Vietnamese food? You found the spot. This was SO GOOD. Affordable, delicious, and authentic. The restaurant is honestly really clean compared to a lot of Asian restaurants I've been to. My friend got the com tam for her first time, and she loved it. Def worth a visit if you haven't been.

We had a to-go order from here, and it was good. We ordered a nem combo that feeds 2-3 people, and the two of us were quite full afterward. I'm not sure if it was forgotten, but it didn't come with spring roll wrappers, so I used my own at home. The nem nuong was a bit different from what I'm used to at other places, but it was still pretty good. I do wish the combo came with a bit more sauce, though it did include both the orange sauce and fish sauce. Overall, it's a pretty good portion and tastes good for the $26 price!

We met up with family at Golden Delight #2 for dinner. Since we arrived around 5 pm, parking was plentiful and we were seated right away. My daughter-in-law ordered a variety of dishes for us to share. We had a number of rolls that we wrapped with a variety of grilled pork, egg rolls, sausage, and veggies. We also had some fried shrimp paste with sugarcane. The watermelon juice was freshly made and enjoyable. The restaurant was bright and spacious with a number of tables quickly filling up as we dined. Food was fresh and service attentive.

Walked in here and it's pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon. But this broken rice dish combination. $24 Also got a very unique soup bold dish that cost$16. It's full of seafood and the salty shrimp paste that's super nostalgic for me, but was quite strong. I'd pass on this next time. Service was excellent and the space is bright and airy. Food is good enough to come back!

Golden Delight's second location is the kind of destination you willingly sit through Valley Blvd. traffic for and battle for parking in an overwhelmed lot. A few things worth noting: - Currently my favorite thing to eat: the fermented fish vermicelli soup (weekends only). It has that signature tangy, slightly funky depth that makes each bite so satisfying. - The house special tomato soup with thick vermicelli is equally satisfying, available every day. Pork blood cubes, yum! - Jasmine iced tea is incredibly floral and fragrant. It's a refreshing balance paired with the noodle soups. The food and service is always consistent, and the golden touches give the ambiance a slightly elevated experience. If you're a noodle soup fiend, you definitely want to give this place a try!

Food 5/5 Service 4.5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Price 4/5 Overall 5/5 Well if you want higher end semi upscale Vietnamese food with higher quality, presentation, clean restrooms, clean dining and fresh cool clean ambiance and it's bright! Dont need to go anywhere else! I felt like I dined at a high end Vietnamese restaurant. Great job with the food taste, food presentation, even my bowl of pho comes out on a hot stone pot! Amazing stuff. Will come back! Be ready for a short to moderate wait during peak times. Check on yelp, but this spot was legit and prices wasn't ridiculous at all for all of us party of 6, it was $110 ish

Couple weeks ago we went to Golden Delight #1 and really enjoyed the food there. So here we are at Golden Delight #2 for lunch on a Saturday. You either have to come early or later than 1pm to avoid wait. Service is friendly, they don't have assigned table. You get attention quickly. Vibe is more high end restaurant, clean and modern - decor looks like #1. We order Banh Beo Dried shrimp (rice cake in tiny plates with dried shrimp) - it's really tasty! Spicy beef noodles which is Bun Bo hue - it's flavorful, spicy. Last, golden delight pho with flat noodles. It's good. They use fresh ingredients, and I am happy to report actually #2 offer dishes not available at #1 and vice versa. I actually love that!

Love their pho tai nam. Put in the satay on the table for an extra kick of flavor

My official go-to Pho place in SGV. I've had a few places, but this. This place has the best pho broth, tender meats, and fresh thick noodles (not all place offers it). Service is always good and consistent. I like their gold accents everywhere from the utensils to the decor and cups. It's a nice touch.

A second Golden Delight opened on Valley Blvd in SGV area... the restaurant is pretty clean n neat included dining n restroom!! The menu is shown all pictures for easier reading to customers... Hot Stone Pho is still included to menu and it was served pretty hot soup base...!! I ordered Beef rib pho n the meat was tenderness enough, but could be braised a little long time.. so I could separate meat n bones easily... and the ice coffee Vietnamese could be strong favor a bit... Overall, everything is fine to get a four stars!!

Grilled Pork & Egg Rolls Vermicelli (Bn Tht Nng Ch Gi)

Overall, this place is decent. I came in on Easter, and there was a bit of a wait, we were the fifth party in line. Once seated, our server was quick to ask if we were ready to order, so we went ahead and made our choices. I really liked how my drinks were served--my cold water and jasmine iced tea came in a nice metal cup, which kept everything super cold, just how I like it. As for the food, it was okay. I had the vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls. The pork was a bit on the dry side, but the egg rolls were crispy and tasty. I also tried the "pick 3" combo with rice, which was alright. The baked egg, however, was dry and all I tasted was yolk. The additional $3 charge for extras felt a bit steep. I'd say something closer to $1.50 would be more reasonable. The interior was bright, clean, and had the AC blasting, which was a nice. All in all, I prefer Com Tam in San Gabriel for this kind of meal.

Plenty of parking on a late Tuesday afternoon. Clean open and well lit restaurant. But definitely warn ya try to find seating closer to the windows instead of the door. It's super windy and was a bit drafty. Luckily I have a jacket on while eating. I ordered the pick your three item pho and imperial egg rolls. I had meatball, filet mignon, and tripe. I think they forgot the tripe on my order but it's fine. I didn't ask for a replacement. Food was clean and I was able to get the egg rolls packed to go. Good meal. Will be back again

And the pineapple bun with butter? Warm, fluffy, slightly crispy on top, with that thick slice of butter melting inside... so good. If you're looking for a solid spot for a casual, comforting meal, this place definitely delivers. Will be back for sure!

Service was rushed and disorganized from the start -- the server wanted our order the moment we sat down, leaving us scrambling to decide. We ordered the Hu Tieu Thap Cam (large noodles), Banh Bot Chien, and Dau Cha Quay as an appetizer. The Bot Chien came out first after about 20 minutes. My soup didn't arrive until 15 minutes after that, and the Dau Cha Quay? We had to ask four times before it finally showed up -- by which point we were nearly done eating. As for the food itself, my Hu Tieu Thap Cam was a disappointment. A large bowl that was mostly noodles, with just two shrimp, a single slice of liver, barely a teaspoon of ground beef, and a few thin slivers of chicken. The veggie toppings were just as sparse. For what's supposed to be a hearty noodle soup, it felt like a bowl of afterthoughts. I hate writing reviews like this because I genuinely used to love this place. But the combination of slow, uncoordinated service and underwhelming portions makes it hard to recommend.

For appetizers we ordered the Takoyaki, chicken karage and our main dishes Deluxe Tsukemen x3. The Break down: Atmosphere: 4/5 They greet you as you walk in, which I sets the vibe. You're welcomed into a cozy apace that has some decorative elements even to the music choice. Reminds me of our trip to japan, which I MISS SO MUCH! The Food Takoyaki: $8.95. 4/5 Stars. - Comes in 5pcs with sauce and bonito flakes. I liked how the outside was a bit crunchy and inside was fluffy! Karage: $8.95. 5/5 Stars - Comes in 5pcs. The sauce was tangy sweet kind of like teriyaki sauce. It was crispy but still so juicy and soft. HANDS DOWN GET THIS! Loved it so much I could have a whole bowl Tsukemen: $22.45. 5/5Stars - If you aren't familiar with this, the broth is separate from the noodles. Its a different way of experiencing noodles. The broth is thick, creamy and flavor profile is on point. Inside of the broth there is mushrooms and pcs of pork. The noodles are cooked perfectly and also comes with pcs of nori, soft boiled jammy eggs and 4 pcs of thick chashu. Portion size lets just say they are generous and we all can EAT ^^, Kakigori (MATCHA) $8/$14. 5/5 Stars - Definite MUST! Its made with Japanese shaved ice, a very creamy soft cream matcha sauce and matcha powder! I cant tell you how good this dessert is. The wife is obsessed and one if the main reasons why we found this spot in the first place. Please try! Service: - Super friendly staff! They are quick to get our order and serve our meal. I asked for more limes for my noodles 2x and both times they were quick. Overall: We love this place and we keep coming back with new people to share this type of noodle experience. Check them out im sure you will enjoy it. Lets just say we drove an hour to eat this. You def will not be disappointed :)

The…read moreother two ordered tsukemen ($26.50 for the spicy deluxe and $23.50 for the spicy chasu) and found it very salty because they chose to consume it not by dipping the noodles in the bowl of broth, but rather by pouring all the broth from the bowl into the noodles, trying to recreate a normal bowl of ramen. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

You walk in thinking, "I'll just grab a quick bowl," and suddenly there's a noodle master stretching dough like he's training for the Olympics. Their Lanzhou-style noodles? The pork sandwich bun was decent (4/5) since the beef was tasty but the sandwich bun could be better. We also had the traditional beef noodle soups with either the wide flat and triangle ones. You can't go wrong with these freshly made pulled noodles, and they are very hearty portions. Flavor is good and the beef is very tender. It never looked super busy, so I kept putting it off. Big mistake--don't let that happen to you like it did to me! We finally went in and ordered a bunch: the Spicy Beef Shank Rice Noodle, Rattan Pepper Sliced Beef Rice Noodle, Popcorn Chicken, Sesame Balls, Popping Brown Sugar Rice Cake, Fried Milk Rolls, and Fried Taro Balls. Everything was outstanding. The noodles were amazing--fresh, chewy, with high-quality ingredients you can really taste in every bite. The broths had that perfect spicy kick without being overwhelming, and the beef was super tender. My wife and I couldn't stop eating; literally everything we tried was delicious. She especially loved the Fried Taro Balls--they were crispy outside, soft and flavorful inside. The sides/snacks were all hits too: the Popcorn Chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the Sesame Balls and Popping Brown Sugar Rice Cake brought great texture and sweetness, and the Fried Milk Rolls were a fun surprise. Service was top-notch--shoutout to Icey, who took such great care of us. One of the best and most attentive experiences we've had in a while.
